We also see in our parsha Kedoshim  that we will inherit the Land. Only if we do what it  says in the Torah
You shall keep all of My statutes and all of My laws and do them so that you will not be expelled by the land to which I am bringing you there to reside therein.   (Verse 24) And I have said to you [that] you shall inherit their land, and I shall give it to you that you may inherit it, a land flowing with milk and honey, I am YHV”H, your God who separated you from the other peoples.” (Verse 22)

The Torah states that in account of transgressing forbidden sexual relations the Land will vomit out the Israelites:

“You shall therefore keep all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them; that the land, where I bring you to dwell in it, vomit you not out.” (20:22)

The inheritance of the Land of Israel, is acquired only through fulfilling what God asks of us in His Torah .May we see this soon With the coming of our righteous Mashiach quickly in our days.

   dots            BS”D

In parashat Nitzavim we read:

הַנִּסְתָּרֹת לַיקֹוָק אֱלֹהֵינוּ וְהַנִּגְלֹת לָנוּ וּלְבָנֵינוּ עַד עוֹלָם לַעֲשׂוֹת אֶת כָּל דִּבְרֵי הַתּוֹרָה הַזֹּאת:
“Concealed acts are the responsibility of the Lord our God ; but overt acts are the responsibility of us and our children unto eternity, to carry out all the words of this Torah.”

In the Torah portion Nitzavim is the above verse in chapter 29, verse 28 there is dots over some of the letters in the Hebrew text. There are only 10 times this sort of scribal marking is found, so it really calls out for some explanation. It is as if you underlined some passage in red ink, or a highlighter.

In the Torah scroll, it appears a with  dot over the ע of עד,  meaning unto. Why is only half the word dotted?

עד is a word that suggests continuity. A dot on only one of the word’s only two letters breaks it up. Maybe this is suggesting we may not know the secret things now, but in the world to come we will ? We simply have to do the best we can now with what we know.

If we don’t read the phrase לנו ולבנינו, us and our children because of the dots on them, which at times denote the marked world is “like” erased. Then the verse would start “Concealed acts are the responsibility of the Lord our God, and overt acts also.”  While the children of Israel are still in the wilderness, they are not wholly responsible beings; God is concerned with both their public and private acts and will dispense judgement, like a parent. Once they cross over the Jordan, into their promised homeland, Rashi informs us that then, they have to take collective ownership of their actions. Now they are adults with autonomy. They have a responsibility to maintain law and order among themselves as best they can.

Concealed acts concern the Lord our G-d; but with overt acts, it is for us and our children ever to apply all the provisions of this Teaching. (Deut. 29:28).

In the Torah scroll there are eleven dots over the words of this verse, over eleven consecutive letters:   the words lanu u-le-vanenu (= for us and our children), and over the letter ayin which begins the next word, ad (= ever). This means that we have responsibility for each other, helping each other obey the rules and do mitzvot – and we also have responsibility for ourselves. This is the longest run of dots in the Torah, eleven of them, and immediately before the dots is an eleven-letter phrase – ליהוה אלהינו. As we’ve seen, we don’t ever erase God’s name. We avoid even a suggestion of doing such a thing, so we wouldn’t put those eleven dots above ליהוה אלהינו. But the association is there; is it coincidence that there are exactly the right number of dots for ליהוה אלהינו, put in right next to the phrase, on the next available words? What if we read the verse without God? Then it reads “Concealed acts and overt acts are the responsibility of us and our children unto eternity…”

In  Avot de-Rabbi Nathan , in addressing the subject of these dots, presents an dialogue between Ezra the Scribe,  who set the text of the Torah and the rules of copying it as is today, and Elijah the Prophet, who is destined to resolve all questions and uncertainties:

Ezra said:   If Elijah should happen to come to me and ask, “Why did you write it thus?” I shall answer him, “I have already put dots over them.” And if he should say to me, “You have written this well,” I shall remove the dots.

It follows from this interchange that the dots were an accepted sign for deletion, and if Elijah should reveal to Ezra that these words were not to be written, Ezra would argue back that they indeed had already been marked for deletion. The use of dots  as a deletion sign can be seen also in  Isaiah found among the Dead Sea Scrolls.

Since Ezra was not sure whether or not these words ought to be written, he wrote them and added a deletion sign over them; it was decided that this practice continue to be followed in all Torah scrolls.  As a result, Scripture itself hints at two possible readings:  according to one, the words with dots over them are to be included in the verse; according to the other, they are to be omitted.

This verse is the longest run of dots in the Torah, eleven of them in all. Immediately before the dots is an eleven-letter phrase – ליהוה אלהינו. There is a tradition that when letters are dotted it is like the words are erased and not read. There can’t be dots on the 11 letters of ליהוה אלהינו as we don’t ever erase God’s name. We wouldn’t even make the suggestion, so we wouldn’t put those eleven dots above ליהוה אלהינו. But since are exactly the right number of dots for ליהוה אלהינו . We would read the verse “without God”? as “Concealed acts and overt acts are the responsibility of us and our children unto eternity…”. The “clippa” nourish from 11 sources.

These are some of  the dotted words mentioned in the Mishnah and Talmud:   elav = to him (Gen. 18:9 – Bava Metzia 87a), be-kumah = when she rose (Gen. 19:33 – Nazir 23a), ve-Aharon = and Aaron (Num. 3:39 – Bekhorot 4a), rehokah = far, long (Num. 9:10 – Mishnah, Pesahim 9.2), ve-issaron = one-tenth (Num. 29:15 – Menahot 87b), lanu u-le-vanenu = to us and our children (Deut. 19:28 – Sanhedrin 43b).   Sifre and parallel texts also mention the words:  u-veineikha = between [you and] me (Gen. 16:5), va-yishakehu = and he kissed him (Gen. 33:4), et-tzon = flock (Gen. 37:12), and asher = which is (Num. 21:30). There are many more in the Gemora Sofrim in mesechtot Katanot. You can find much more on this in catagory “mesora”. Most explain that  dots come to limit or mitigate words of the text, as in the “halakhic” teaching about the “Pasach sheni”  for those who were “on a long journey” (Num. 9:10) when the Passover sacrifice was to be offered:  “Rabbi Yose said, therefore there is a dot over the letter h ,in the word “long”, to indicate that it is not because the person is surely far away, rather he may be anywhere from the threshold of the Temple forecourt and beyond (Mishnah, Pesahim 9.2).

The masoretic literature mentions additional dotted words, however Torah scrolls today do not have dots in these places. It is found that some of  these dots  do not indicate deletion, rather they indicate a controversy.

In the list of the seventy people who went down to Egypt says:  “To Joseph were born in the land of Egypt Manasseh and Ephraim, whom Asenath daughter of Poti-phera priest of On bore to him” (Gen. 46:20). The Babylonian masoretic tradition relays that the letter yod in the word Poti-phera has a dot over it.  This indicates that the name Poti-phera was written according to the Babylonian tradition as a single word, and not as two words, which is the generally accepted tradition.  The dot over the yod, where the two words are joined, hints that there is a difference of opinion as to how this name is to be written – as one word or two.   Indeed, the masorah indicates explicitly that there was a controversy over this question.   It is interesting to note that according to the Yemenite tradition the name Potiphera is written as a single word, so the ancient controversy that existed in Babylonia continues to this day among different Jewish communities.

In the verse, “Why will you turn the minds (written tenu’un, read teni’un) of the Israelites” (Num. 32:7), a dot was reportedly written over the first vav in the word tenu’un, and a controversy over this is reported.   According to the generally accepted text today, this word is spelled one way and read another. Apparently, according to the minority opinion in the Babylonian tradition, the word was written with the letter yod and was read as it was written. We also find that the words in the Torah that have written by them the letter nunand a dot is placed above the word or above the letter. These are not “zitima”, and there is disagreement and controversy over them.

“Zitima” is a Greek work meaning derogatory and erroneous.  Some say   “zitima” is as , “machlakot” Hebrew for disagreement “u-pligin aleihun” and Aramaic as disagreement over them.

This passage connects between the dots that are written over an entire word or over a single letter and the sign that appears in the margin in the form of a final letter nun or a letter “zayin”.  This is an early masoretic mark which appears in ancient manuscripts where there is a note of “keri” (read)  and “ketiv” (written).

“The secret things belong to the Lord our God; but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this Torah.”

The secret is understanding this verse in context. The verses right before talk about the Jews leaving the path of Torah and “mitzvot” (commandments), God getting angry and removing  the Jews from the land of Israel.

What does the verse mean ?

God is saying: “Don’t worry, I will take care of all the hidden sins you do not even know of, they are not your concern. Your only concern is those sins that you are aware of.” Also other people’s sins that are public knowledge, they to are your responsibility. The “Aor Hachym”  explains “areivut”  It literally means each Jew is mixed in , connected to teach other Jew. As each Jew is as a part of one’s self. This creates a necessary  mutual responsibility of one Jew to another. This exists in the physical and spiritual realms. These are things we are responsible to fix also. We see the effect of being collectively responsible for one another with the incident of  Achan, who deliberately violated a Divine Commandment, and took property from the city of Jericho, after it had fallen during the conquest of Canaan under the leadership of Yehoshua. The subsequent defeat of the Jewish army at the battle of Ai is attributed to this lone act.

Rabbi Samson Raphael Hirsch suggests that the verse means when we are scattered in exile don’t spend all your time trying to figure out mysteries, like when redemption is going to happen. Your concern is only with the revealed – do the commandments and let God figure when the time of redemption will be.

The split between “nigleh” (revealed) and “nistar” (secret) in our verse  is as the Kli Yakar teaches that every commandment has  two aspects to it:

  1. The physical requirments of its actual performance .
  2. The “kavanah” (intention), to understand and become learned in the commandments secrets , which God hid from the other nations.

He ends up connecting this to teshuvah, saying:

….it is not concealed from you, so you have no excuse to say that you didn’t know that the Holy One Blessed Be He accepts the teshuvah of the sinners, for you knew the matter of teshuvah more than all the nations because “Yisrael and teshuvah preceded the world” [Pesachim 54a].

And if so, then when Hashem created teshuvah, you were also there.

And if the nations need prodding about teshuvah – like the people of Nineveh – behold, you don’t need any prodding because the secret of teshuvah was revealed to you ever since that ancient time.

The Kli Yakar goes on to say that no one need ascend to Heaven to find out whether Hashem will accept our teshuvah; the answer to that secret is already known to us.

The parsha begins ”You stand this day all of you before Yhv”h Elohech”a”. The sages say the day referred to here is Rosh Hashanah.

As every word of the Torah is precious. One can find so much meaning to its voice. Its written ” Not with you alone will I make this covenant and this oath; But with him who stands here with us this day before Yhv”h Elohech”a and also with him who is not here with us this day” (29:13-14). The Torah is Eternal as hinted by ” also with him who is not here with us this day”.

Its further written ”you will enter into covenant with Yhv”h Elohech”a, and into his oath, which the Yhv”h Elohech”a makes with you this day. That He may establish you today for a Nation to himself ”. This is what it is to be the Nation of Israel. The nation of GOD. Who here makes a covenant with us. Concerning this Covenant a few verses later GOD reminds us ”It should come to pass, when one hears the words of this curse, that he blesses himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the stubbornness of my heart, Yhv”h will not spare him (18-20). But now standing in front of the Jewish people are noble men but they are not educated in Divine wisdom-Torah Knowledge. Many even naked of knowledge of Torah law. Only with knowledge is one given free choice. One would not know that the creator has forbidden growing two different types of plants close together unless one read this in the Torah. Then we know what to do. Without this knowledge there is not free choice. Without knowledge of the Torah one ends up with a different kind of life, so the generations changed. Most of us have heard stories of our religious ancestors. But a lack of Torah knowledge can rip away faith in the Divine God, the giver of the Law from generations. Creating a Jewish culture with different values not necessarily focused concerning piety, holiness, or respect for Torah, which is their heritage. Jewish youths found delight and closeness to God meditating on the Midrash (Ancient Jewish spiritual texts). When the House of learning Torah was the community gathering place. Today instead they gather at basketball games and parties. Yet the mitzvoth are not profane or ordinary, but they are Holy purifying and sanctifying the Jewish people revealing Godliness and also in all worlds. In a generation where every one wants to be part of the fad and fashion and no one wants to be left out. It is difficult to live as an individual with the uniqueness and distinctiveness of the one God and one people. Thus there is intermarriage, indifference and assimilation. Yet there are those that see GOD as omnipotent and believe it is under his laws, values and concepts we must love. Others can be found among our people that do not believe in a God that is effected by man. It will be between these and those that the future of the Jewish people and The State of Israel will be decided. Will Jerusalem be a reflection of the Heavens of Holiness; this cannot be accomplished by secularism alone, nor by impassionate religion resulting from spiritual starvation, creating a comfortable convenient Judaism. Which is something like playing ” Charade ”. The parsha concludes saying ” love Yhv”h Elohech”a, and that you may obey his voice, and that you may cleave to him; for he is your life, and the length of your days; that you may live in the land which Yhv”h swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.”

When Moses had finished writing down in a book the words of this law to the very end, 31:25 Moses commanded the Levites who carried the ark of the covenant of YHWH, saying, 31:26 “Take this book of the law and put it beside the ark of the covenant of YHWH your God; let it remain there as a witness against you.”

What is written on this scroll exactly? In chapter 28 are the blessings and curses.

So let us all , as in this parsa accept upon ourselves the kingship of GOD this RoshHashanah, and become the nation of Israel spoken of here in our parsha so that we may see the words in our parsha fulfilled ”. And Yhv”h Elohech”a will put all these curses upon your enemies, and on those who hate you, who persecuted you.” (7:30) With the arrival of our righteous Mashiach quickly in our days.

VaYalach                                                                  בס”ד

This week’s portion ,Vayalech, tells us what transpired during Moses’ last day on earth. On  that fateful day he wrote down the whole Torah scroll. The Torah scrolls we use today are copies of copies of copies of the original Torah scroll written by Moses on the day of his passing, on 7 Adar of the year 2488. Moses commanded the Levites to Take this new Torah scroll and place it at the side of the Ark which also housed the Two Tablets inscribed with the Ten Commandments . This Ark was in the  Tabernacle in the desert and later the Temple in Jerusalem. It is interesting that Rabbi Meir held that the Torah scroll needed to be placed inside the Ark, at the side of the Two Tablets. Rabbi Judah teaches that a shelf protruded from the outside of the Ark and the Torah scroll was placed on that shelf.

Parashat Va-Yalech mentions for the last time in the Torah  “The place YHV”H will choose” (Deut. 31:11). Before the Tabernacle was set up, the high places were permitted, and the sacrificial service was performed by the first-born.  Once the Tabernacle was set up, the high places were prohibited, and the service was performed by the priests…After they arrived at Gilgal, the high places were permitted…When they came to Shiloh, the high places were prohibited.  There was no roof to it, but below [were walls] like a house of stone and curtains above, and this was the resting place …After they came to Nob and to Gibeon, the high places were permitted…When they came to Jerusalem the high places were prohibited and were never again permitted

It says in our Parsha :

“Their children, who have not known any thing, may hear, and learn to fear Yhv”h Elohech”a, as long as you live in the land to which you go over the Jordan to possess.” (devarim 31:13)

This means forever folks, You should know that the sages teach us three things are given on condition, the land of Israel, the Holy Temple and the kingdom of David. ” These are given on the condition you keep my covenant”. The land is God’s, on this condition he gave it to us. It is not an outright gift. Our presence in the land of  Israel  depends on our observing the commandments.

Moshe said “I am no longer able to come and go, and G-d has told me you will not cross the Jordan” (31:2) This reminds us of the times Yisrael needs new leadership.

In Chupat Eliyahu we learn 3 gifts Hashem gave to Yisrael, but they are received through  yesurim (sufferings). These gifts are Torah, Aretz Yisrael and Olam Haba (the world to come). The  building of the bait ha Mikdash (the Holy Temple) is an inheritance in merit of Torah learning.

There is no free lunch

As said above we must “learn to fear Yhv”h” as “Ratzon” (will) is Atik (the source of delight). Chesed (kindness) is “ratzon” concerning the “avoda” (divine service) of Yisrael. If there is no “avoda” there is caused hiddenness of this Divine will called Chesed. The Nashamot of Yisrael bring out “Dat” (knowledge) from potential to actual by the giving of the Torah. This is called Z’a (Source of the Ruach, emotional soul). It is all arranged by Hashem in his free will to give us all free choice. Thus there is revealed accordingly the power of evil which stands against the  “kidusha” (holiness), so there will be displayed love and fear of Hashem. these are all acts of his kingship. They exist so that we may approach levels of Holiness needed in the service of  Hashem. The “chuchum” (wise man) understands the good  that is hidden. Where ever he is he sees the place of the level of “kidushah” (holiness). The evil is only to teach the good (it will never leave his hands weak !).   Fear  embraces humility and humility embraces “chasidut” (piety). So by fear of sin one gets all these qualities. All the time one is only occupied only  in the simple meaning of the Torah they see themselves  as poor and dead. The main part of the Torah is its secrets. One who has the fear of Hashem without chuchmah (Kabbalah) will not reach the “midot” (attributes) of “chassidut” (piety). Fear of Hashem is Chuchmah (Wisdom that inspires), turning away from evil is Bina (understanding). The beginning of the mitzvah of fearing Hashem is to know that “elokenu” (our God) is the ד”ו parzufim  (masculine and feminine aspects of Hashem). These are the Written and Oral Torah by whose ruling we were taken out of Egypt.

Bina (understanding) is אשר who made man in צלם (supernal image) of  מ”ה (name of 45/source of Z’a-ruach). If a man gives his heart and dat to the fear of Hashem, behold the letters of  יהו”ה cleave in  his heart. One who merits this has no lack. This is what it means “Make Me a migdosh (temple), and I will dwell in them”..  One sanctifies their heart so  as to have dwell in it יהו”ה. But if his heart lacks fear  of Hashem, the letters of יהו”ה are far  from him.  This is the greatest possible lack.

It’s said that one person may take another’s portion in gan aden, so all are not the same. One serves from fear while another from love ,  but booth are called sadeekem. One is greater than his fellow in humility and the fear of sin. Our parsha contains the name of another parsha in it “Mekaitz”. In the verse  “Moses commanded them say, ” At the end (“Mekaitz”) of 7 years, at the time of smittah during the holiday of Succot” (Deut 31:10) May this connection be revealed with the coming of the Mashiach quickly in our days !

PARSHAT MATTOT – MASSAY – LIVES JOURNEYS

We stand approaching Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kipor and the holiday of Succot in the distance. These great times of great revelation of light need great preparation so that one may become a proper  vessel for the revelation of this great light. For this GOD has given us the month of Tammuz and quickly approaching the month of Av. Av precedes the month of Ellul. The month where GOD is ready to give anyone a hand who wants to know and be one with His glorious light. GOD in Ellul gives every one extra power. Before Ellul we have Av. This is the time of destruction of Both Temples, the time of national mourning. This reveals a certain part of the heart. The sages say  only those who mourn the loss of the Temple will be those  who will  rejoice when it will be rebuilt. By contemplation of this we can  come  to realize as the sages say “one who has not seen the ceremony during  succot where water is poured up the alter has never seen joy in his life”. These 3 Weeks are a time  of introspection  called “cheshbon Nefesh”. It’s a time for looking into the mirror of our souls and reflecting upon where we have been, where we are, and where we should be going. It is the time to examine our thoughts, speech and actions so that we may come to live more  meaningful and Holy lives. Sins that destroyed the First Holy Temple and the sin that destroyed the Second Holy Temple are growing stronger each day. Powerful and disruptive rifts fracture our Jewish communities.

Our parsha starts out discussing vows, sincere commitments one makes to GOD. Our lives should be a sincere commitment to his will. If we follow His will we will become holy. The Torah tells a father can nullify his daughter’s vow when she is child, and that a husband can nullify his wife’s vows. What about a 15 year-old girl? The “halacha” (Torah Law)  makes it clear that she is completely independent, so if she makes a vow, her father can’t nullify it. However, the Torah does not even hint to such a situation.

Becouse historically speaking, at the time the Torah was given, girls married  when reaching physical maturity. So the Torah had not addressed these cases

Thus our parashah illustrates the difficulty of understanding the Torah  In the context of modern life, without knowledge of the Oral Torah. As during the time of the Torah, it was unacceptable for a 12-year-old girl to be unmarried, while today it is inconceivable for her to be married.

Rabbi Nachman of Breslov teaches that through faith one  achieves intellect.1 It is according to one’s  Dat (knowledge that connects the mind to the heart), which is “penimi”  (a internal aspect) in the sefirot that there is a “segulah” (miraculous power) to unite with Divine will.2 By this we  can accomplish anything. But to reach this power of Dat (knowledge that connects the mind to the heart), which is “penimi”  (a internal aspect) in the sefirot that there is a “segulah” (miraculous power) to unite with Divine will which gives you power over all in this world by yielding Divine will one must learn a lot. One must go through many journeys.

By these journeys  that we each face in our own  live’s  which  are our  “tikun”(fixing) so  that we may enter a Divine state of consciousness called “Yisrael”. In these journeys we face many tests, these come to refine us.  By this we may merit to not only have the consciousness called “Yisrael”, but to actually enter the Holy land and connect to the Infinite quality of God that is always dwelling upon the Land. It is a quality like Shabot which is manifest by the Divine name of (42) מ”ב of the world of Bria as explained in the books  concerning the meditations of the  Shabot.      Like on  Shabot  in Aretz Yisrael  light   is revealed. In Aretz Yisrael light  is  revealed  more because the garments vessels  for light are more refined in Asiyah (the  physical world) as their bodies are more   sanctified in mitzvot than if dwelling outside  the land. As Aretz Yisrael itself  is as a “mikvah” (ritual bath) completely  surrounding  you . “Aretz” (land)  is related to “ratzon” (will), receiving the yolk  of heaven is the spiritual aspect  of Aretz Yisrael.3 Those who walk in the ways of “avoda zara”  (the way   of GOD   being strange to them). Then the  way of GOD will not rest in their hearts. 4 By transgression we can become defiled  and separated from GOD and in  need of cleansing. This cleansing is relative in degrees as we see in the parsha. With a sincere commitment for the sake of Heaven  we can   avoid much of the worst kind of defilement. Defilement of our intellects. As this God forbid can cloud over our  understanding  and shake our sincere commitment to Divine service in fulfilling the  will of Heaven.  Towards the end of the parsha we are reminded  about the first female property owners in world history, the 5 daughters of Tzelofhad being Machla, Noa, Hogla, Milca and Tirza and their property rights. It is interesting to note that there is a difference of opinion concerning what their father Tzelofhad did that caused his death.  Rabbi Yehuda ben Betayrah tells us that Tzelofhad was of the group of brazen men who  defiantly attempted to conquer Israel without God in their midst and without the Holy Ark. While Rabbi Akiva says that Tzelofhad  was “he one who gathered wood on the Sabbath and was stoned to death as a punishment [Num. 15:32–36] – . Instead let us all accend to the land in the correct way and act according to the God’s will and bring the redemption in peace quickly in our days.

God called us YISRAEL saying – You are “one of ours” as Gavrael Michael RAFAEL

Yisrael, Iran, the nations of the world What is happening in HISTORY NOW – it’s all here

IN midrash Yalkut Shimoni on Isiah 60 we find :

“Rabbi Yitzhak said: The year that Melech HaMoshiach will be revealed, all the kings of the nations of the world will provoke each other. The king of “Paras” (Persia-Iran) will threaten the king of Arabia (now called “Saudi” Arabia) and because of this the king of Arabia will go to the king of Edom (USA-the west) for advice.

Afterwards the king of Persia will destroy [most of] the world. The remaining nations will be hysterical and frantic and fall on their faces and will be seized as if by “birth pains”.

And the people of Israel will be frantic and hysterical and they will say, where will we come and go? This being the ס”ם’s (the evil one) final attempt to make the Jews loose faith.

But with this comes a problem How could the ס”ם possibly build up Iran so it could be strong enough to contend with Edom, which is all the western powers, specifically the USA ? Only one way by by bringing Obama into power and having him pass a insane treaty with Iran allowing them to get Nuclear weapons. He found one more problem to contend with being the Merit of Edom by the kindness in recent years America has shown to its Jews. With this merit Iran still could not rise to power and cause America serious harm. The ס”ם found a solution, destroy America’s merit by Having their supreme court legislate abominable immorality, the promotion of the homosexual lifestyle. Through all this the can turn the whole world to caos to help the Jews loose faith and give up Torah and Mitzvot and by this the ס”ם becomes stronger and can hold out a little longer. In addition to this the ס”ם also has caused to arise from the depth of darkness an New phenomena to the world Isis and all the other terrorist groups which are much more destructive and cruel than anything that came out of Islam before. Yismoyal had the blessing from Avraham that he should “Live before him”. Well we are approaching the end of time and the ס”ם wanted to take this blessing away from Yismoyal’s descendents, so he brought out of their own religion which were corrupt enought in their original form to start with the New phenomena to the world Isis and all the other terrorist groups which are much more destructive and cruel than anything that came out of Islam before.

Those who have been true to God, He will say to them: Do not fear my children, do not fear. All that I have done I did only for you. Why are you afraid? The time for your Redemption has come! It is in this parsha the Levi are given 48 cities with land around each city.  Six of these cities are to be cities of refuge for a accidental murderer to flee to and be safe from a blood avenger. The law of the accidental murderer who goes into exile is mentioned in parsha Massay, Mishpatim, Vaeschanan, Sefer Yehoshua describes how the remaining three cities were separated, in parsha Shoftim we are told that when we listen to God and deserve, our land to be expanded, three more cities of refuge will be added. Right on the heals of all this talk about murderers and killers is a warning not to spill blood on the land. We are then warned not to make the land “tami” (impure) as God resides in the land, because God dwells within the children of Yisrael.

The sages say these 3 additional cities will be added in the Messianic era. Why will we need more cities of refuge  for accidental murders in the messianic era ?

Well lets talk about war, there is a common  situation where 90% of the citizens of a country pose a terrible threat by supporting terrorists and they don’t hide their support of terrorists as they celebrate the killing of innocents by the terrorists by passing out candy on the street rejoicing in genocidal intentions after every terror attack !. They name streets and public squares after these mass murderers. In war they hide the “active” combatants among themselves. The only way to kill the enemy that is trying to kill you is to  drop  bombs that would destroy the entire country. Its war and war has casualties, “collateral damage”.. Innocent civilians even die in wars, unfortunately this always has been the way of the world. There is no way to avoid this. We can try to minimize the numbers but there will be “accidental” deaths. So there will need to be these cities of refuge for the “accidental murders”.

When we are dealing with a “milchemet mitzvah” (A obligatory war , a war to save Jewish lives in the land of Israel is one of them)- there is no room for talk of delay or “proper timing.”  Even if the offensive will undoubtedly lead to many  innocent deaths, one must act without the slightest hesitation lest “Chillul Hashem” results by our inaction. Rashi explains: “He who stands against Israel is as one who stands against the Almighty.”

The Rambam in Guide to the Perplexed understands the need of listing the names of all 42 places Yisrael camped in the desert so later generations might not come to think “That Isreal when they were in the desert were able to survive the 40 years because they were near cities, where men live” But as we can discern from the locations of the 40 places listed where Yisrael camped in the desert. It wound not have been possible for Yisrael to till and plant the land and to reap or feed on plants that were to be found there. The God had the 42 places Yisrael camped in the desert delineated in detail so we may clearly know that our survival in the desert those 40 years was only by miracles. It was NOT natural for the manna to always fall in those places. There were NO wells of water in those places….” This all was meant to emphasize the extent of the miracle of the existence of the Hebrews in the desert for the entire 40 years. The Ramban explains that the detail of the writing of the journeys of Yisrael in the desert was written in the Bible for a purpose which is SECRET which has not been revealed to us. Yisrael were originally traveling in the desert very fast as “ takes eleven days to travel from Horeb via Mt. Seir to Kadesh Barnea,” but they miraculously traversed this distance in three days.

3 times the text of Israelite journey in the wilderness is recounted in the Bible  the most exhaustive is in our parsha (Num. 33). The journeys are  listed in the Torah in their appropriate located place. If we divide  the places of encampment into three groups they have 14  places in each group, there are places with a description  and places with no description at all. The first and third groupings are places with a description in the 40 year trek in the desert. With the 2nd group of 14 places is given no description at all. Here they are :

FIRST SECTION : Num 33: 1-14   ————————– places with a description THESE JOURNEYS WERE ALL IN THE FIRST YEAR AFTER ISRAEL LEFT EGYPT

“They journeyed from Ra’amses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of
the month of the first month, on the day after the Pesach; Benei Yisrael left
with a high hand in the sight of all of Egypt. And the Egyptians were
burying those whom God had smitten – all the firstborn; and God had also
executed judgments upon their gods” (3-4).
“They journeyed from Sukkot and encamped at Eitam, which is on the edge
of the wilderness” (6).
“They journeyed from Eitam and turned back to Pi ha-Chirot, which faces
Ba’al Tzefon, and they encamped in front of Midgal” (7).
“They journeyed from before [Pi] ha-Hirot and passed through in the midst
of the sea into the wilderness, and they walked a distance of three days in
the wilderness of Eitam, and encamped at Mara” (8).
“They journeyed from Mara and came to Eilim, and in Eilim there were
twelve fountains of water and seventy palm trees, and they encamped
there” (9).
“They journeyed from Alush and encamped at Refidim, and there was no
water there for the nation to drink” (14).

Middle Section verses 15 through 35

THESE PLACES HAVE NO DESCRIPTION AT ALL=On  literary level the central 14 verses here of Israel’s journey in the desert form the thrust of the narratives intent. Yet here there is no content at all, merely the list of locations. This middle anonymous section of 14 verses,  reveals nothing of epic events that happened in these years in the desert. This represents
the bulk of the time our ancestors spent in the desert,  This just begs for understanding.

Last section verses 36 through 49  ———————-places with a description THE LAST 8 OF THESE JOURNEYS WERE ALL IN THE LAST YEAR BEFORE ENTERING THE HOLY LAND

“They journeyed from Etzion Gever and encamped in the wilderness of
Tzin, which is Kadesh” (36).”They journeyed from Kadesh and encamped at Hor ha-Har, on the border
of the land of Edom” (37).
“Aharon the Kohen ascended to Hor ha-Har, according to God’s word, and
he died there in the fortieth year after Benei Yisrael came out of the land of
Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first of the month” (38).
“And Aharon was a hundred and twenty-three years old when he died at
Hor ha-Har” (39)
“The Canaanite king of Arad, who dwelled in the Negev, in the land of
Canaan, heard that Benei Yisrael were coming” (40).
“They journeyed from Ovot and encamped at Iyei ha-Avarim, on the border
of Moav” (44)

THE LAST 8 OF THESE JOURNEYS WERE ALL IN THE LAST YEAR BEFORE ENTERING THE HOLY LAND
“They journeyed from Almon-Divlataima and encamped in the mountains of Avarim, before Nevo” (47)
“They journeyed from the mountains of Avarim and encamped on the plains of Moav on the Yarden, near Yeriho” (48).
“They encamped on the Yarden, from Beit ha-Yeshimot to Avel-ha-Shittim,
on the plains of Moav” (49)

In our Parsha massay the 42 journeys of Isreal in the desert from Egypt to Israel – are like 42  phases each person’s experiences in their own way throughout life. For this it is written :

“These are the journeys of the Israelites, who had left Egypt” on the way to the Promised Land: All the 42 journeys are about freeing ourselves, transcending the constraints (Mitzrayim) which conceals God and His Divine powers from us., subduing and sublimating the forces of evil that are holding us back from our spiritual potential. By these journeys, phases in  life we learn to make our life one of harmony between body and soul, with open revelation of God, God willing.

The name of each of these 42 places where the Hebrews encamped in the desert is recorded in the Torah. All creation will be elevated in the Messianic era through the 42 journeys the Hebrews made in the desert. The desert is symbolic of spiritual desolation, the complete concealment of Godliness, the dwelling place of impurity and evil. By these 42 powers the spirit of impurity will be removed from the land in the future so to end the concealment of God in this lowest physical realm.

The 42 places were separated from each other by the prefixes of ב (Bet) and from מ (Mem) and also by the word journey (VYSAV). The prefixes M and B, together have the value 42 alluding to the 42-Letter Name , while the word journey (VYSAV) is repeated 42 times in this section of the journeys. Reb Zadok in his Pri Tzadik, points out that forty-two is the number of letters found in the special and holy Name of God
that prophets used to pronounce and meditate on when going into a state of prophecy. The Pri Tzadik teaches, these forty-two stops correspond to the forty-two letter Name. The Magid of Zlotchov teaches that the names of the places indicate the victory of “kedushah” through the Israelites’ weakening of the “tumah” of the wilderness that surrounds it. Rab Judah said in Rab’s name: The forty-two lettered Name is entrusted only to him who is pious, meek, middle-aged, free from bad temper, sober, and not insistent on his rights. And he who knows it, is heedful thereof, and observes it in purity, is beloved above and popular below, feared by man, and inherits two worlds, this world and the future world. (Kiddushin 71a) The world came into being by  the first forty two letters of the Torah, the forty-two building blocks or stages of creation, building blocks of the 42 letter name.

Blessed is the Glory of his kingdom for ever, and ever:One must go through many journeys. In our Parsha massay 42 journeys of Isreal in the desert are described. These journeys raise us from below to above. Raising all to Bina consciousness , revelation of our Nashama (soul of Divine intellect). To be more specific 42 aspects raising the Emotional soul , the “Ruach” to the Nashama and its guiding consciousness. It is by these journeys that we each face in our own live’s which are our “tikun” (fixing) so that we may enter a Divine state of consciousness called “Yisrael”. It waa a great miracle making a dry rock into a source of fresh water in Refidim, the third location involving water on the Children of Yisrael’s journeys. the Torah tells us:וַיַּחֲנוּ בִּרְפִידִם וְלֹא הָיָה שָׁם מַיִם לָעָם לִשְׁתּוֹת
They camped in Refidim, and there was no water for the people to drink. (verse14)Here, in Refidim, is where Moshe hit the rock for the first time, producing water for the people. At Refididim is also where Yisrael fights Amalak. This source of water accompanied Israel for the next nearly 40 years.“Water” is mentioned with three locations in the list of Israel’s 42 journeys in the Desert.. Each time, whether in Marah, Eilim, or Refidim, the water’s appearance was accompanied by a miracle.2.   For they had departed from Rephidim, and had come to the desert of Sinai, and had camped in the wilderness; and there Israel camped before the mount.3.   (Smot 19:2)“Smot” (Exodus Chapter 17)1.   And all the congregation of the people of Israel journeyed from the wilderness of Sin, after their journeys, according to the commandment of the Lord, and camped in Rephidim; and there was no water for the people to drink.2.   Therefore the people complained to Moses, and said, Give us water that we may drink. And Moses said to them, Why do you strive with me? why do you tempt the Lord?3.   And the people thirsted there for water; and the people murmured against Moses, and said, Why have you brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst?4.   And Moses cried to the Lord, saying, What shall I do to this people? they be almost ready to stone me.5.   And the Lord said to Moses, Go on before the people, and take with you of the elders of Israel; and your rod, with which you struck the river, take in your hand, and go.6.   Behold, I will stand before you there upon the rock in Horeb; and you shall strike the rock, and water shall come out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.7.   And he called the name of the place Massah, and Meribah, because of the chiding of the people of Israel, and because they tempted the Lord, saying, Is the Lord among us, or not?8.   Then came Amalek, and fought with Israel in Rephidim.9.   And Moses said to Joshua, Choose for us men, and go out, fight with Amalek; tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in my hand.10.               So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek; and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.11.               And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed; and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.12.               But Moses’ hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat on it; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.Refidim  is the 11th Journey out of the 42 listed. Here Moshe brings water from a Rock, and fights Amalak, and because of what happened here Moshe could not enter the Holy Land.In reviewing all the places the tribes traveled after they left Egypt until encampment on the plains of Moab near the Jordan river of  Jericho.  We learn that Aharon died on the first day of the fifth month .  Of all the people that die in the Torah, only the day of Aharon’s death is told to us.  The Torah doesn’t tell us the day when Abraham or Sarah or Moshe or Miriam or anyone else died – only Aharon. The eyes, ears, nose and mouth are 7 windows by which the soul ascends by 7 types of herbs. They all illuminate aspects of chuchmah. They are Nard which is Chesed of Chuchmah, Safron-Givurah, Calamus-Teferet, Cinnamon-Netzauch, Frankincence-Hod, Myrrh-Yesod, Aloes correspond to Malchut of Chuchmah. Herbs are conduits of angels Ofanim Chayot and Caruvim. Gold is something above, copper below and silver is in between filling the gap. Rabbi Avraham Abulafia teaches in Aor haSachel that Hashem chose Aravot (the heaven) of all the gilgullim (spheres) it is here He chose to set his כסא(thrown). Of all the stars of heaven he chose the sun, and from all the yesodot (elements) he chose fire. Of all metals He chose gold. Of all the trees He chose the Date palm tree, of all animals the Leviyaton, of birds the Eagle, of all beast the lion. The incense was unique, in that its forbidden to make compounding its ingredients for personal use. Even if one does not burn it. To do so carries a death penalty and this is one of the 36 things that cause a soul to be “cut off”.There are eleven ingredients of the incense, eleven goat-skinoverhangings of the Tabernacle, and the eleven curses in parashat Ki Tavo these are the ten sefirot of nogah. With the klppa Noga the Divine life-force enlivening them cannot be absorbed within them, because the holy does not mix with the profane. Rather, it hovers over their heads, and shines onto them from there. Together they are thus regarded as eleven But with the ten holy sefirot this is not so. The Divine life-force that enlivens them is absorbed within them, and thus they are counted only as ten.The oar Ha Chyim taught that “kayin” knew of the arms and feet of the earth. So he didn’t need to lay a hand on Abel to kill him. The four sides of the shechina (Divine presence) are according to the four flags of the “midbar”, and so are there four groups of Jews safardim, askanazim Catalonians and Italians. Cohen cooresponds to tohu, Levi to Vohu and Yisrael to chosech (darkness).  Its written in Safer Ziyoni  a tradition that was handed down from one to another, going back to Moses that the flag of the tribe of Reuben bore a human figure and the three letters of the ancestors of the world: Bet from Abraham, Tsady from Isaac, and Ayin from Jacob; and on the flag of Judah was the form of a lion and the letters Aleph Yod Yod [Abraham Isaac Jacob], of the three patriarchs, … the flag of Ephraim had the figure of an ox and three letters of the patriarchs Resh Chet kof, … the flag of Dan had the figure of an eagle and the three letters of the partriarchs Mem Kof Bet…  All Yisrael nourish from a light that is so bright it appears as darkness. The lights are revealed by raising up sparks through mitzvot and acts of kindness. Then new lights decent from above to the nefesh ruach nashama chayah and Yachida (levels of the soul) to each man accordingly. The main rising of sparks is by “tikun” (fixing) of the central piller. “Avodat haKodesh” (Holy woorks) makes zivug of Teferet (Balence) in Malchut (revelation of Divine presence in the earth), and flows rachamim (mercy) to sweeten “din” (judgment). The Nefesh of the sadeek (Holy person) creates the world. According to the Yesod (Gateway of energy) of their Nashama there is eminated their cavana (intentions) on the world, and by this we say Hashem (God) rules. This is the manuchah (rest) of sadeekem. By this they will inherit olam Haba. As the way they live now is from the Histashalut (unfolding of energy) from the “great Shabot”. The nose of the Shechinah (Divine Presence) has in it 370 lights. These sweeten its givurot (forces of restriction). Then there is found manuchah (rest). 370 lights are 300 of the first 3 sefirot and 70 lights are the 70 midot of 10 sefirot each. Hashem has pleasure through “Avodat Yisreael” when when they do His will, He is with them in the 6 “midot” (attributes)of love, fear and the beautiful sparks in the praise of Hashem in “devecut” (cleaving). Count from the world of Bina which is “oneg” (delight) the 7 “midot” till Yesod, then Malchut is called “bat Sheva”. (Count the quality of your avoda, until being complete in all 7 attributes). From the service of sadeekem doing mitzvot (commandments) and misim tovim (good deeds) its like there is made “nachat ruach” (a joy of spirit). there is made a tikun in the “mesach” (the screen filtering the light) that descends dressing in a garment drawn from the rekia (firmament). The light from above “oar yosher” (light that comes down) dresses in the sparks rising from below called “oar chozir”(sparks of light returning to its source rising). Moshe increased praise for Yisrael, becouse of this they merited to receive the Torah. Even if they were in a place of tuma (impurity) that the angels were afraid to enter they went out with a high hand. Always the Shechinah is in the sin of her children dwelling in their tuma so all the year without doubt one needs to purify themselves with water of Rachamim (Mercy) from Ima (Divine mother) by the middle pillar יהו”ה, so you will be pure before Hashem. The oar ha chyim teaches the purpose of the various exiles is to gather isolated segments of sanctity scattered in various branches of the klippa (vessel of the other side of concielment). We learn from Rabbi Moshe Cordevero that exile is a lack of unification of the sefirot, causing a separation from “nanhaga” (divine providence). When there is not sanctified the name of Hashem but it is desecrated before the nations, heaven forbid, there dresses the spiritual supervisors of the nations upon the flow of divine light nourishing from it. This is the exile of the shechinah, but even in exile the light of noga (sparks) surrounds. This is ” I am exiled in your midst”. This is the secret of the ofanim, angels of asiyah (this physical world).

Rab Judah said in Rab’s name:  For as a reward for the forty-two sacrifices offered up by Balak, he was privileged that Ruth should be his descendant. As R. Jose b. Huna said: Ruth was the daughter of Eglon, the grandson of Balak, king of Moab. Maybe there is a connection between the 42 by Balak and the 42 places in the desert.
(Sanhedrin 105b)

By the journeys in the desert was elevation from below up, to the sublime level of bina at which malchut  is not a separate factor, leaving 42 levels in all  The “emotional” sefiros (Ruach) are contained in potential within bina (Ruach ibor in Nashama), they collectively contain 42 components: the six attributes of Z”a, each comprised of seven aspects.

The 42 encampments in the desert lift the forces of holiness out of the reach, of the forces of evil, by elevating them back up to their origins within the 42 components in the “womb” of bina (Sefirot of the soul level called Nashama)., where evil has no hold. All worlds will be raised to a higher level in the Messianic era. This was made possible through the 42 journeys the Hebrews made in the dese

It is by these  journeys we that we each face in our own live’s which are our “tikun” (fixing) so that we may enter a Divine state of consciousness called “Yisrael”. As Aretz Yisrael itself is as a “mikvah” (ritual bath) completely surrounding you. “Aretz” (land) is related  to “ratzon” (will), receiving the yolk of heaven is the spiritual  aspect of Aretz Yisrael.3 Those who walk in the ways of “avoda zara” (the way of GOD being strange to them). Then the way of GOD will not rest in their hearts.4 By transgression we can become defiled and separated from GOD and in need of cleansing. In the beginning of parsha Masay are  described the places of our journeys in the desert after  leaving Egypt. The sages say these journeys are the idea of exile. Exiles are a separation from GOD. To prevent this we must not let our eyes lead us astray with foreign thoughts, but we must hold on to our firm sincere commitment.  That’s why GOD told us to remove all the inhabitants of Cannan as  it says in our parsha “But if you will not drive out the inhabitants  of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those whom you allow to remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall harass you in the land where you live”(33:55). So we must not delay but even now must remove the terrorists from around us and in our midst. And those who have been over come by  foreign thoughts among Israel’s ruling clique who share both an affinity  to foreign governments and, accordingly, an anti-Jewish agenda. The political candidates who habitually lie to voters, promising them a hard line against the terrorists. But once in office, they take more concern with the rights of the terrorists and their communities  than protecting the citizens of Israel.  The primary responsibility  of a government is the protection of its citizens.  These we must rid ourselves of. So that then our enemies will finally cease  to exist . Targum Jonathan teaches  on Ex. 40:11 that the Messiach son of Ephraim, who descends from  Joshua ben Nun it will be by his hand the House of Israel is destined to defeat Gog and his followers at the end of days. As there are 2 Messiahs, one anointed for war and the other anointed to be king over Israel. Redeemer the Messiah son of Joseph,  will come first,” Zohar Hadash, Ruth, 107b.

This world is full of all kinds of light you just have to get those sparks from all thing taking them from even from there captured place giving power to the “other side”. Raising them then up to the Holiness you shall then Rejoice in the Spirit of Holiness. We shall then all go from our “masay” (Journeys) of Exile to the Peace of complete redemption with our Messiah quickly in our days !

The gentile’s days of deciding the fate of the Jewish nation are almost over. As frustrating it must be for all of you. The days are here of the self determination of Israel. after all your zealous attempts to annihilate us, you have failed. We are still here and growing stronger by the day !.

BEWARE ! America’s intelligentsia Intellectual and professional class dominating academia, the media, Hollywood, and the Silicon Valley establishment —has taken leave of RATIONALITY !

The soul was put in this body to build and perfect itself and the material world. When the soul is not doing its job properly, it becomes as it were polluted, attached to the body’s evil inclinations and to the material world. This is actually very painful for the soul

By Shabbat we get eternal reward for resting, eating, and drinking, Shabbat is like a paid vacation!

SHALOM-ITS ALL HERE

FOLKS AND UPDATED DAILY !

SOME LIKE TO THINK THAT THE ACCEPTANCE OF THE LAWS OF THE THE TORAH  OF MOUNT SINAI IS A LOSS OF FREEDOM. “YOU CAN’T DO THIS YOU HAVE TO DO THAT”. BUT THE OPPOSITE IS TRUE. IN TORAH IS GOD AND THATS THE ONLY REAL “FREEDOM”

“ For whom The Lord loves He reproves, as a father chastises his son.“ (Proverbs 3:12)

The concept of ‘sufferings of love’ is that God hopes that by the chastisement that God brings upon us we will improve. The sufferings that we go through in our lives have this intent being from Divine providence. While with the wicked God does not bring ‘sufferings of love’ to push them towards the right course or away from evil but He lets them proceed on their way till it is too late as it says :

“ The wicked spring like grass, and when all the evil doers flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed forever ” (92:8)

R. Akiba said:

God deals strictly with the righteous, calling them to account for the few wrongs they commit in this world, so to reward them with bliss in the world to come; He grants ease to the wicked and rewards them for the few good deeds which they have performed in this world, as their corrective punish awaits them in the world to come. (Midrash Rabba Noach)

What is implicit in traditional Torah sources , bur is in conflict with a “modern value” . The “modern value” is NEVER better than an actual value of the Torah, Good, dedicated Jews should never lost sight of this !

When so called “modern” values are opposite that of the Torah’s values. Then those who support the so called “modern values”. They are at the same time are rejecting God’s laws fpr the ideals of humans. OF COURSE THERE WILL BE CONSEQUENCES FOR THIS ! There is a true concept that Torah” Shebeal Peh” (Oral Torah) adapts to the times, but it is also true TORAH VALUES ARE NEVER NEGATED ! Modern adaptations of Torah law or custom DO NOT create breaches in Jewish faith or practices.

Rabbah Bereishit teaches that men’s souls are higher than angels as in Psalms its written “For He will command His angels for you, to guard you in all your ways” ( 91:11). And the one guarded is greater than the guardian.

Thrive in a way that transcends the ordinary !

Muslims and Christians believe that god gave the torah to israel, and then claimed to be that traditions’ inheritor. They all though agree the torah god gave to the jewish people is the word of god !.  Why would the muslims and christians not dispute the the validity of the torah and claim to have the real way ?

because the whole world know what Hashem (god) did with the hebrew people in egypt as nothing like that ever happened before.

The entire world knew all that happened in Egypt.

Every miracle that HaShem performed in Egypt happened in the entire world in some noticeable way, every sea split, every river had blood and hail fell everywhere.  It teaches us that when HaShem spoke, the entire world heard His voice and knew what

God is serious business. Torah is serious business.  Your life is serious business. Don’t treat your soul like it’s the least important thing in the world. Use God’s Torah to change the world, this is why you are here,  Learn how !

Jerusalem and especially the Temple Mount is the center and nucleus of Holiness on Earth. No wonder everyone always wanted to control Jerusalem. Not just today but throughout history. The Zohar in Parsha Terumah  says  The Holy Land is the center of the world, Jerusalem is the center of the Holy Land, and the Holy of .Holies is the center of Jerusalem. Onto this central point all good and all nourishment descend for distribution to the entire world.

Our task as human beings as we struggle to elevate the animal aspect of our soul called “Nefesh” to the spiritual aspect of our soul, called “Nashamah” (in the Biblical Hebrew). Change your world from chaos to order. This is a Godly endeavor. By this we are able transcend the boundaries of the physical world at times by unique Divine providence.

The tension between physical matter and “Nashama” (Soul) is deep and difficult. Yet the souls  cannot be defeated. Even if the material forces are relentless. This is because the essence of our beings, our “Nashamot” cannot be damaged. It just becomes covered, hidden from us. By our errors and lacking in our divine service. . The beginning of all “tikun” (fixing) , reconstruction and healing is awareness of the problem. the essence of our beings, our “Nashamot” cannot be damaged. It just becomes covered, hidden from us. By our errors and lacking in our divine service.

It is known that there is judgment on every small matter down here, to such a degree that our sages say no person bruises his finger below until permission is given for him from above (Chullin 7b)

Put yourself in judge mode, you have to search the matter, assemble the facts about what counts the most in life, and then render the most spiritually productive decision. What the Torah wants for  you ultimately is what you want for yourself. This is for sure.

How much importance do YOU place in YOUR Jewish identity ? To what lengths do you go in order to honor and preserve it? Torah sources dictate clear parameters in which one can live a Holy life as a Jew according to the Torah. Obviously and ultimately its up to YOU to lead that life. The question is, “Do you live with integrity according to the TORAH ?” Rav Saadia Gaon said: “Our nation is a nation only by virtue of the Torah”. The Torah is our ‘national spirit’ that binds us together as a “living nation”.

ALSO—— from the story of job we can learn what god gives he can take away , so use the potential powers for the god as he wants you to. or you may never see these gifts or they may god forbid be taken away !

THE 2ND PARSHA

Massay                                                Bs”d

One must go through many journeys.

This was made possible through the 42 journeys the Hebrews made in the desert

It is by these  journeys we that we each face in our own live’s which are our “tikun” (fixing) so that we may enter a Divine state of consciousness called “Yisrael”.

SPIRITUAL TRAVEL, HOW TO- PARSHA MATTOT MASSAY

UPDATED

49

Mottot                                                Bs”d

THE 2ND PARSHA

Massay                                                Bs”d

In our Parsha massay 42 journeys of Isreal in the desert are described. These forty-two journeys in the desert – from Egypt to Israel – are like 42  phases each person experiences in their own way throughout life.

HERE IS THE NAME OF 42 LETTERS RABBI  NACHUNYAH BEN HAKANAH REVEALED :

This is the most powerful meditation to push off Evil, to work it requires all one’s mind in all one’s heart. In it are hidden 7 Divine names made of a total of 42 letters hidden in the words of the work of creation in the beginning of the Bible. Many miracles  have been worked with this.  It is a revelation thousands of years old.

More of its secret will be revealed later, there is much to say

Here it is in English

Ana Bekoach Prayer

1. Please, with the might of your right, untie the bound:
2. Accept your people’s prayer song, heighten, purify us, awesome one:

7. Accept our plead, and hear our cry, he who knows secret thoughts:

It is a quality like Shabot which is manifest by the Divine name of (42) מ”ב of the world of Bria as explained in the books concerning the meditations of the Shabot.  Like on Shabot in Aretz Yisrael light is revealed. In Aretz Yisrael light is  revealed more  because the garments vessels for light are more refined in Asiyah  (the physical world) as their bodies are more sanctified in mitzvot than if dwelling outside the land. So that then our enemies will finally cease  to exist with the arrival of out righteous Mashiach quickly in our days.

By contemplation of this we can come to realize as the sages say “one who has not seen the ceremony during succot where water is poured up the alter has never seen joy in his life”

Our parsha starts out discussing vows, sincere commitments one makes to GOD. Our lives should be a sincere commitment to his will. If we follow His will we will become holy.

Then the  way of GOD will not rest in their hearts.4 By transgression we can become defiled  and separated from GOD and in  need of cleansing. Instead we shall avoid all defilement and bring the redemption in peace quickly in our days.
