PARSHA “BISHALACH” B”H   January 13th 2019

A REMINDER OF AMALAK BEFORE PURIM ! Amalak is a transmigratory group of souls who Hate God and those who wish to do God’s will. To the nation of Amalek there is nothing good; they are doomed to utter destruction. That is because their traits are anger and destruction. These traits have no counterpart on the side of good and must ultimately be gotten rid of entirely !, There are those from Amalak who have chose to convert and become Jews, then they are no longer Amalak. But this is most unusual.

God wants the HEART ” this has to be one of the most obvious things in the world. God wants SINCERE Torah learning and performing of “mitzvos”! Not empty Torah and thoughtless “mitzvos” ? Amalak wants the opposite. They want to fill your life distractions. Anything that will interfere with your Divine service. They want you to be so distracted that you can’t really focus properly on the things that are most important, your Divine service ! The transmigratory group of souls called Amalak tries to distract us away from thinking about “mitzvot” when we do them.

Amalek tries to plant doubt in our mind’s concerning the authenticity of the Torah and our relationship with God, if these doubts come to manifestation , then soon will Amalak appear on the scene , God forbid, as we see in the Torah Amalek appears the moment Israel says: “Is God with us or not?” (Ex 17:7-8).

Amalek is the thorn forever in the side of the Jewish people. They try to block our national and personal spiritual accomplishments. Amalek thrives on our lack of enthusiasm and our lack of clarity of purpose. Amalek is at the very root of evil. When we break the klippa of Amalek we will bring ourselves and the whole world to its ultimate Tikun (rectification).

WARNING !

The Divine names found in the Bible like Elohem”e, Sd”y, and YHV”H. YHV”H IS PRONOUNCED AS ADN”Y. Due to their sanctity they are NOT pronounced, except in a Biblical verse or part of a Verse or in prayer.

Knowledge of God’s Name can be a dangerous thing for people who bend, twist and distort things to fit their personal belief, when it is not in accordance with The Torah and the tradition of the sages as has been received from the prophets. This involves the sin of blasphemy and “You shall NOT take the Name of YHV”H your God in vain for YHV”H will not absolve anyone who ‘takes’ His Name in vain.” (Shemoth 20:7) Desecrating God’s Name carries with it serious consequences. With great blessing comes great responsibility.

~ The great, glorious, fearsome name,YHVH is a name that includes all the other divine names that are mentioned in the Torah. There is no divine name that is not included in the name YHVH. If you were to pronounce it, you take on your lips all the holy names upon which depend the universe and everything in it. You must realize that when you pronounce the name, sounding out its letters with the motions of [the] tongue, [you] agitate all universes, both above and below. All the angels rise up and ask each other, “why is the universe trembling?” And the answer, “because some wicked person is pronouncing the Explicit Name, sounding out its letters with his lips. As a result of these vibrations, every Name and appellation that depends on it, reverberate, and Heaven and earth tremble.” Then they say, “and who is this wicked person who makes the universe tremble, pronouncing the Great Name without reason? He is this wicked person, who did these sins on this day, and those misdeeds another day.” As a result, all of his individual’s sins are recalled. When you shake the trunk of the tree, you cause all of its branches and leaves to tremble. Likewise, when a person pronounces the letters of YHVH, all the host on high and below tremble, since they all depend on it. The only place where this was not true was in the Holy Temple. When the high priest would pronounce this Name in the Temple, all the host of heaven would rejoice and would receive the divine influx. For in doing this, the high priest would rectify all the supernal channels, and blessing would be brought to everything in the universe

(Shaarey Orah 46b quoting Shaarey Kedusha).

Rabbi Yitchak the Blind wrote in his commentary to Safer Yetzera that when King David dug the pits , and the deep sought to in drown the world, Achitofel taught David the forty – two letter Divine Name , and he wrote it on a clay shard and tossed it into the deep, so that it didn’t drown the world. The whole world dried up, and he had to say the 15 ” Shir haMalot ” of the Psalms , corresponding to the 15 inner degrees , and for every degree [the deep]

ascended a degree , and the world was restored to its normal condition.

BEWARE, if you use information from this blog and distort it for purpose of avodah zara (strange worship) there could be severe consequences. Those who pursue such knowledge for the wrong reasons are asking for trouble. Using it for personal benefit or for purpose of promoting a particular belief, especially if it is errant or idolatrous, is dangerous. Anyone who would use it for the sole purpose of elevating their status amongst peers is headed in the wrong direction. All of these things are an improper use of God’s Name. It would constitute the “taking/use” of God’s Name in vain as mentioned above. It should not be seen as a ‘tool’ to use for the acquisition of fame or status.

On the other hand if you sincerely wish to come closer to God; to more fully appreciate His Torah; to understand lofty subject matters and to do what is acceptable in His sight then there is great reward in knowing God’s Name.

Exodus 14.19-21

19: And the angel of God, who went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of cloud removed from before them, and stood behind them;

20: and it came between the camp of Egypt and the camp of Israel; and there was the cloud, and darkness here, yet gave it light by the night there; and the one came not near the other all the night.

21: And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all the night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.

These three passages in Exodus (14.19-21) describe the miracle of parting of the Reed Sea. Each of these 3 consecutive verses in the original Hebrew has 72 letters exactly. From these verses a special arrangement is made of their 216 letters so to reveal the hidden 72 three letter Names of God.

These are the 72 names, The 72 Names of God have extraordinary power to overcome the laws of nature in all forms, including human nature.

Meditation on the 72 Names can repair you on the soul level and the world in general according to you actions and by passing the demanding tests of life. accordingly the names will be effective. By meditating on these names we receive “knowledge that is not learned from human traditions or derived from intellect and analysis. ” Rabbi Avraham Abulafia teaches that one should Breath in when speaking the letters and exhale with the vowels. Each 3 letter name involves twelve breaths. One can also discover that each Name has a relation to a specific verse in the Torah. Where the name appears in the verse or spelled our in the ‘Rosh’ and ‘Sof’ “Tevot” (first and last letters of words). Each Vowel has a specific head movement as well. Rabbi Abulafia says when the power of the abundance begins to manifest letters and the Sefirot begin to appear like lightening flashes, as the visions of the Chayot (living creatures). As it is said, “The Chayot ran and returned, like a vision of lightning.” Rabbi abulafia says that we have a tradition that the divine influx will come to a perfected individual after he completes 24 of the 3 letter names. This is alluded to in the word “my Beloved” Dodi =24 in Hebrew. thus it is written, “The sound of my Beloved (Dodi) is knocking.” (Song of Songs, 5.2)

Parsha Bishalach Bs”d

Parshah Beshalach is made up of 6,423 Hebrew letters, 1,681 Hebrew words, and 116 verses, and can occupy about 216 lines in a Torah Scroll, the same number of letters as in the 72 names.

From אז comes forth the seventy two names.

Some people never learn. You would think after all those plagues in Egypt Pharoe would give it up all ready. But no, he evidently did not have enough so he pursues after the children of Yisrael into the desert and right into the sea where all his chariots and men come to their final resting place buried under the water. Some people never learn.

Yet for Yisrael it was not easy either. Only six hundred thousand Israelites survived the plague of darkness and made it to stand at the sea. The six hundred thousand who made their way to the sea were 1/5th of the original population of 3 million.

They stood at the lip of the sea fearing their destruction from the advancing chariots. The water would not split for them until Nachshon Ben Aminadav jumped in. One just has to have the determination to go for it, and then the result will be accomplished. As at the sea. Moses invoked 72 names to split the water of the sea but someone still had to jump in. Heaven has many blessings for you, but you need to do something about it.

Moses was the only prophet to receive prophesy from the masculine aspect of GOD. All else received from the feminine aspect. Rabbi Nachunya’h Ben Hakannah teaches Moses was from the “smittah” (time period) of Chesed, which has already passed. As now is the “smittah” of givurah. So he asked “why do you bring me here?, I’m from the place of rachamim (mercy) without yetzer hora (evil inclination) or sin ”. Bina (Divine understanding) responded “ I bring you for the need of the world, to take Yisrael out from Egypt, to bring 10 plagues, and have Yisrael pass through the sea on dry land, and to bring Yisrael to Sini to receive the Torah. You have the power to deliver them as you are from the smittah of Chesed.” No matter where you came from, what ever background you have GOD’s will is for you. By its force you can fulfill His will. There may be obstacles to overcome. As its taught. Uz”a was the angel over the reed sea He descended to complain against Yisrael. Even with all the obstacles one must just jump into it. Its said at the splitting of the reed sea a slave saw more then the Prophet Ezekiel. Yisrael saw at Sini what the nations have never seen.

Our parsha Bishalach is in the second book of the Torah called in the holy tongue “smot” meaning names, while it is usually translated as Exodus. This parsha has 3 verses in a row each having exactly 72 letters. From these 3 verses are assembled 72 three letter names of Divine power. It was by these names Moses was able to split the waters of the sea and cause them to stand like a wall. Even when the physical nature of water is the opposite of this. This allowed Yisrael to walk then across the sea on dry land. Also each of these Holy names has specific qualities one name pushes away evil, another draws mercy from the highest place and another helps one receive secrets. It is by Knowledge of the name of GOD that Yisrael is distinguished from the nations and given a role directing Divine providence instead of being passive recipients.

In the Book Brit Minuchah it states Now there are few Mikubalim , but there has not been diminished or interrupted the flow or power of rulership in the world. The Mikubal is not lacking in His power of rulership. The flow is free to all who have emunah. But to those of little faith, they must pay with merit. The guarding angels are the merit. By them one enters the Markava (Divine Chariot), or is prevented. They are the limits. Rabbi Moses Cordevero teaches Sarafim Chayot and ofanim (levels of angels) were only created to help even if they are masters of “sarim” (supernal supervisors) and song they help men. Breath dresses in the words of tefila in segulot (supernatural powers) of arrangement of the words in ”kavana” (intention) in breath and voice with out speech. The name Yhv”h it is not our custom to pronounce in its own letters, but we do so with Ahy”h. This rides on our voice. By this is built yichus (relationship) on the names. And this is the elevation of elevations. Becoming a master of the names and working in them. The way of the voice of Yhv”h its work is revealed. This is the elevation of elevation. It is closed and concealed, not revealed. Because if one becomes accustomed to contemplate it in its letters there is Revelation of the markava, but this is hidden. So it is not pronounced, but it is the power of ruling is of the highest elevation upon all the world of Atzilut. If it were pronounced it would rule all the sefirot that are comprehended, but this is not so. It rules all in a hidden way. But Ahy”h guards upon the Hosts of the hachel (palace) proper to guide showing revelation of the Emanater. Pronounced shows concerning works that will be accomplished in the future, now and what has already passed. This thing cannot be comprehended at all, but it is a concealed thing.

Concerning the Teferet (balance) of invocation of Divine names the Ramcha’l teaches that in order to work a name a man must remember the name of the illuminary to arouse its light, and its angel from it who goes over to do its work. The work is the ruling of GOD and the name causes its arousal. The light of all your learning shines in your “tikunim” (fixings) filling all the Divine names. Rabbi Rosin teaches Love of Yisrael is a segulah (miraculous power) itself to draw into the letters and permutations of Holy names to illuminate and flow by way of avoda (divine service). GOD created the world in His Name, and rules it in His Names. So pray and by the purity of your observance of the Mitzvot from selfless dedication we will merit to see soon all our enemies destroyed and the Arrival of our righteous Mashiach in mercy quickly in our days.

After seeing so much Divine at the sea. It seems many did not internalize the experience. Sometimes understanding and seeing is not enough as after the splitting the sea the people still did not trust in GOD enough to believe and that He could provide them with water. Another miracle was required, Moses had to make Bitter waters fit for drinking. He did this by throwing a tree in the water. By “throwing” the Tree of life (Torah) into the waters (anything you do) they become fit to drink. So do everything for the sake of heaven.

Then comes the Manah, the bread of heaven. Thus by this order of events we see that if you sweeten the bitter waters of this world (raising the sparks), revealing GOD in the world. By this is sweetened the forces of judgment. And one comes to live in a world that is like all Shabot in a sense. So the next command in our parsha is Shabot. The test of the manah is similar to the trial of today which many fail. One of the most common complaints of Jews today concerning Shabot is that they just cant keep it, they need to work. This is very similar to the generation in the desert who were forbidden to gather their Manah on the Shabot. They had to trust in Hashem , that He would provide all their needs. Its interesting to note that in Hebrew manah is “mun”. Money in transliteration is my manah. there are no coincidences. Rav Yuhudah said in the name of Rav ” If the Jewish people would have kept the first Shobot no nation would have ever had dominion over them. But is says in the Torah ” On the 7th day some people went out to gather” (smot 16:27) Right after this it says “Then came Amalak” (Smot 17:8). Rashi says on this that Amalak came because the Jews Doubted Divine providence.

The Israelites went up out of Egypt “chamushim”. Rashi cites two interpretations for the word “chamushim”. One, based on the root CHAMESH meaning five, because only one in five Jews agreed to leave Egypt; and the other from the root CHIMUSH, meaning armed with weapons.

There are Jews who distance themselves from Judaism by overlooking our unique history and our God-appointed mission.  From a overview of Jewish history one observes a ongoing process of winnowing out large portions of people – similar to a healthy body that rejects foreign organs and detrimental intruders. Of the many millions of Jewish men who were slaves in Egypt, only Yehoshua bin Nun (Joshua) and Calev ben Yefuneh (Caleb) entered the Land at the end of the 40-year sojourn in the desert. Perhaps millions, of Jews of the northern tribes were exiled to points east by King Shalmaneser of Assyria and were lost to the Jewish nation. Who can estimate the number of Jews who were cut off from our people by conscious assimilation? And the process is continuing in full strength to this day. The process cannot be denied or tempered,  it continues “full strength” to this very day. In our parsha we see this thinning out of the Jewish people “big time”  as  only one in five Jews were able to leave Egypt. These days assimilation has removed countless numbers of our people. This process is being accelerated through the conservative and reform movements which are busily undermining the basic framework of spirituality leading to assimilation. Also by  the Second World War many pure  tzaddikim were also murdered as the Gemara in Bava Kama states that when a decree is implemented in a specific place, all those who are there even the  righteous are victims. In such a place the angel of death does not choose between the righteous and the wicked . Also with the help of Islamic terror the Jewish population is being thinned out.  In Egypt 80% of the Jewish people had plans for their lives that ran contrary to the wishes of God; this  hastened their death in the plague of darkness.

Towards the end of the parsha is the 3rd incident with water. Moses there needs to draw water from a rock. It is here Moses becomes angry with the people and hits the rock. It is said because of this Moses could not enter Aretz Yisrael. This is a pretty strong warning against anger. Its said the water Moses brought out of the rock was Torah for the “Erev Rav” (mix multitude) as taught by the Ar”i HaKodesh in Safer Lecutim. We see this “tikun” (fixing) even for Moses was a difficult matter. But they must be dealt with as the event following water from the rock is the Attack from Amalak (the innate enemy of GOD and his people). But the parsha concludes with GOD promising Vengeance on Amalak and may we see it soon with our righteous messiah.

The sword of the Holy One Blessed be He is the sword of all four letters of the name of GOD יהו”ה, just like there are 4 death penalties of the court. The letter Yud of the name is the head of the sword, for all is in accordance with the decree of the head, which are the Sefirot of Keter and Chochmah. The Vav is the body of the sword 2 Hey are two mouths of the sword, because the action of judgment in action comes about through the Malchut which is the mouth that decrees the decree of judgment of the power of the mouth above which is the Binah.

It is said of Yesod, “The thousand are to you Solomon.” (Songs 8:12) Solomon, embodies Yesod, כתף= 500 )shoulder). However, each shoulder by itself only equals five hundred, the gematria of the concealed letters of the “meloy of שד”י like thisשין דלת יוד

The sword of the Tetragrammaton is clothed in its sheath which is the name of ארנ”י in secret of unification above with below.

Even today, many pundits are still trying to figure out how Donald Trump won the election. How did the man with the smallest chance of victory manage to win this election, in complete defiance of all the predictions and assessments of the experts, and all the polls that seemed to be against him? In retrospect, there are many explanations for his astounding victory, some of which are more logical, while others are less so.

>

> There is one man, Rabbi Shmuel Wagner, who has no background whatsoever in the media or in political commentary, but who is confident that he knows of at least one reason for Trump’s stunning victory: the zechus of his father.

>

> In an exclusive interview, Rabbi Wagner, mashgiach ruchani of Yeshivas Ohr Yerushalayim in Moshav Beit Meir, shares the incredible story of how Donald Trump’s father, Frederick Trump, built a shul for the congregation headed by his father, Rabbi Yisroel Wagner, and went on to make annual donations of funding for the kehillah and to aid Jewish families in financial distress.

>

> The Rabbi of Trump’s Neighborhood

>

> After Donald Trump’s victory in the presidential election, several publications featured a grainy sixty-year-old photograph that depicts Fred Trump, the new president’s father, in a shul in the neighborhood of Flatbush in Brooklyn. The photograph was accompanied by a terse caption that did little to shed light on the background to this unusual picture.

>

> Rabbi Shmuel Wagner is a son of Rabbi Yisroel Wagner zt”l, the rov of the shul in Flatbush where the picture was taken, and he reveals that there is truly an incredible story behind it.

>

> “To give you a little background information about Fred Trump’s generous donation and his special relationship with my father,” Rabbi Wagner says, “let me take you several years further into the past. My father was born in Galicia and was a tremendous illuy. He was a prominent bochur in Belz and was very close with Rav Aharon of Belz. He was about 18 or 19 years old when World War II began. He father was engaged at the time to a daughter of Rav Shraga Feivel Willig, the rov of the city of Buchach in Galicia. When the war began, he and his kallah were both displaced from their homes, and each of them miraculously survived the war. They were reunited after the war, also miraculously, in a displaced persons camp, and they got married in Salzburg, Austria.”

>

> From Salzburg, Rabbi Yisroel Wagner made his way to Bolivia, where he served as the rov of a Jewish community. “At first, my parents received papers for Bolivia,” Rabbi Wagner continues his account. “After he served as a rov there for two years, they came to California, in the United States, in the year 1950. That is where I was born. My father was the rov of a shul in California, but there were no suitable schools for children there, so the family moved to New York, where there were chadarim and yeshivos.”

>

> A few weeks after the Wagner family arrived in New York, Reb Yisroel was appointed to the rabbonus of a residential area belonging to a businessman named Fred Trump, father of Donald Trump. Reb Shmuel says, “Fred owned 31 residential buildings in the area, with many apartments for rent. It was an area on the outskirts of Flatbush, near the beach. Most of the tenants in those apartments were Jews, and almost all of them were irreligious.”

>

> A Shul in a Parking Garage

>

> Despite the fact that most of the local residents were not frum, they took an interest in Rabbi Wagner’s shul. “There was a minyan in the shul as soon as it opened,” Rabbi Wagner recalls. “There were Jews from Europe there, and they cared about davening in a shul. The shul operated in a parking garage of one of the buildings, and my father received the position of rov through a relative.

>

> “The shul began with thirty members, but it experienced tremendous growth in just a few years, to the point that it came to serve hundreds of families. Many of the mispallelim were not religious, but they were very much attracted to the shul, to my father, and to the warmth that he radiated to them. They loved the experience of the shul and listening to my father’s divrei Torah. And he, with his kindhearted manner and his trademark warmth, taught them Torah and chassidus, at least to some degree.”

>

> At some point, the shul’s membership grew to the point that the facility was no longer large enough to house the congregation. It was understood that a shul needs to have a proper building in order to function. “My father had an idea,” Rabbi Wagner recalls. “He offered to approach Fred Trump, whom he didn’t know personally, even though Trump was his landlord. He hoped that he could use his wisdom to convince Trump to give him a building for his shul. He thought that he might influence his landlord by explaining that Jews, who were Trump’s largest group of customers, need a shul near their homes. He also knew that Fred Trump was a man of faith, and he was likely to relate to the request.

>

> “Thus, my father’s request appealed both to Trump’s emotions and to his shrewd business mind. And it worked. My father and Fred both understood that a kehillah that revolved around a shul would be a community whose members lead a proper spiritual lifestyle, and his business would benefit from that. My father managed to reach Fred Trump’s heart. Trump was very moved by the idea my father expressed and the two became close friends. Fred proceeded to donate a piece of real estate for the shul, and he even made a very generous donation so that a magnificent shul building could be built.”

>

> “My Rabbi”

>

> According to Rabbi Wagner, not only did Fred Trump donate the plot of land where the shul was built and cover the expenses of the construction, but he also attended the ceremony at which the cornerstone was laid. “Fred was very moved by my father’s speech at the ceremony. He was highly impressed, and he became my father’s close friend. They met again and again, and over time they developed a close relationship. Trump viewed my father as a holy man and a great sage. He used to call him ‘my rabbi.’

>

> “As I mentioned,” Rabbi Wagner continues, “the president’s father was very devoted to his Christian faith. So in addition to the business aspect of the shul, which he viewed as a very worthwhile move to benefit his Jewish tenants, he also put his whole heart into it. Over the years, my father had an official meeting with him once a year, in addition to the many other times they saw each other. At each of those official meetings, Fred would make a generous donation to the shul. In fact, most of the funding that maintained the shul came from Fred Trump.

>

> Rabbi Wagner adds that over time, Fred Trump’s donations grew progressively more generous. “Sometimes, my father would tell him about various Jewish families in the area who were needy, and he would give large sums to help them as well.”

>

> What motivated a non-Jewish businessman to make such large charitable donations to needy Jews? “He was devoted to my father,” Rabbi Wagner asserts. “He admired him deeply, and he used to ask his opinion on many things. He was very impressed by the fact that my father, a chassidishe Jew from Belz in Europe, became the rov of a more modern congregation and inspired many Jews to keep Shabbos and even to become fully religious.

>

> “In our area, there was also a Talmud Torah, a school for Jewish studies that was held after classes were over in the public schools. Fred Trump used to donate large sums to that institution as well. He was a very pleasant person with a very kind heart. Fred was also very serene and delicate. He was responsible for the beginning of Donald’s career.”

>

> When Donald Worked in the Laundry Room

>

> Rabbi Wagner has vivid recollections of Fred Trump’s son, a wild, blond-haired youth. “Donald’s father left him and his brother an inheritance of over a billion dollars. In effect, Fred was the one who launched his son’s business career. I still remember going to shul with my father for Shacharis early every Sunday morning. The laundry room, where all the tenants washed their clothes in coin-operated machines, was in the basement of the building. And do you know who collected the money from those machines in the mornings? Donald Trump and his brother!

>

> “Donald was Fred Trump’s second son. I remember him from the age of about 14 or 15, with his wild shock of blond hair and his endless reserves of energy and drive. His father used to send him to collect the money from the laundry machines. Fred taught his children from a very early age to take responsibility; he gave them no breaks. Donald may have been wild as a youth, but his father raised him well.”

>

> Rabbi Wagner will never forget the respect that his father, Rabbi Yisroel Wagner, received from Fred Trump. “His respect for my father was incredible. He was a fine person with a generous heart. I have no doubt that that zechus helped Donald Trump, who was always very respectful of his own father and obeyed him in everything.”

>

> The son of “Trump’s rabbi” shares another interesting anecdote, from about two years ago. “My mother, who passed away about ten months ago, was called ‘the rebbetzin’ by Fred Trump. Two years ago, we celebrated her ninetieth birthday here in Eretz Yisroel. In honor of the occasion, we sent an invitation to Donald Trump. We wrote to him about my mother, and we told him that we had known his father and we remembered him from his childhood. We asked him to write us back with a happy birthday message for my mother. To our surprise, he remembered the shul, and he sent us a very warm message, along with a picture inscribed for my mother.”

>

> Trump’s Faith

>

> During the election campaign in New York, Donald Trump told the Jews of the city that his father had built a shul there. He remembered the location well, and he recalled the work that his father had sent him to do in the residential buildings of the Jewish neighborhood.

>

> Rabbi Wagner, did you ever meet Fred Trump?

>

> “I was very close with my father, and I helped him with everything having to do with the shul. I learned in the Mirrer Yeshiva in Brooklyn, but every Sunday I davened with my father in the shul, at his request. On a few occasions, I also joined him when he went to meet with Fred Trump.”

>

> What did Fred say?

>

> “Well, as I said, he was a man of faith. He used to tell us over and over, ‘I believe in G-d.’ He also used to say that in his eyes, my father was the epitome of what a religious clergyman should be like. Fred was a very moral person, and he worked hard to teach his children to be responsible, moral, and hardworking.”

>

> In terms of Donald Trump’s victory in the presidential elections, Rabbi Wagner has no doubt as to the reason. “This is certainly the reason for Donald Trump’s zechuyos,” he asserts. “This explains his shocking victory in the elections in the United States. I have no doubt of it. His father had the zechus of paying for a shul to be built and maintaining it for years. He gave money to many struggling Jewish families, and he gave great honor to the rov of the shul and to Jews in general. Donald has zechus avos, and that is what has brought him to the White House.”

ALL THE LIGHTS

49

To help aid the novice, the beginner  I have included here a introduction to some of the terms and concepts found in these teachings. The terms revolve around 5 concepts. The Names of God. The levels of the soul. The order and way of unfolding of the Divine Light. This is what is called knowledge of the “parzufim” (Divine faces). One could call this spiritual anatomy. The Worlds. Knowledge of the 10 Sefirot, these are the emanations of Divine energies which are the building blocks of all that was, is and will be.

Levels of the Soul- In the Bible in its original language “Hebrew” the Soul is called by 5 names.

The Nefesh (animal soul), is the lowest level of them all. It is common in all living things.

The Ruach  is the Emotional soul- called “spirit”

The Neshamah ( Divine intellectual Soul) it is the  LIGHT OF DIVINE UNDERSTANDING.

The Chayah is the soul of creativity

The Yachidah is the highest level, at this level all souls are unified. It shall be this level the Messiah shall attain.

Ein Sof –   which means “the infinite.” It is the highest level the The limitless Light of God. Ein Sof refers to God’s infinite light, before the beginning of the creative process. It is the infinite light which emanates from God’s very essence.

The 10 Sefirot-Powers of Divine emanation

Keter –   · The first and highest of the ten sefirot. Keter means “crown” and is the link between the finite world we inhabit and the infinite world of Ein Sof. In the stages of creation, Keter is the stage in which material reality begins to come into existence. Keter is associated with God’s head and appears at the top of the Tree of Life.

Chochmah –   · The second of the ten sefirot. Chochmah means “wisdom.” In the stages of creation, Chochmah represents the beginning of thought. It involves creative inspiration.

Binah –   · Binah means “understanding” it is powers of reasoning, intellect..

Chesed –   · Chesed, the fourth sefirah, represents love, giving, or mercy. In the stages of creation, Chesed heralds the beginning of emotional energy. Chesed is also identified with the Biblical character Abraham, the patriarch.

Gevurah –   · Gevurah is sometimes also called “Din”, and means “judgment.” It is the power of discipline and restriction. It is often associated with Isaac, Abraham’s son.

Tiferet –   · The sixth sefirah, Tiferet represents beauty and balance. It is the mediator of Gevurah and Chesed, Tiferet balances mercy and judgment. Tiferet is often linked to the biblical character Jacob, who fathered the twelve tribes of Israel.

Netzach –   · The seventh sefirah, Netzach stands for limitless energy, great quantity, endurance, and victory. Netzach is often associated with the biblical character Moses.

Hod –   · The eighth sefirah, Hod represents contained energy that which is clearly defined. It is very specific flow. It is the quality of the Divine abundance while Netzach as said before is quantity of flow. Hod isoften associated with Aaron, the first high priest in the Bible.

Yesod –   · The ninth sefirah,  and serves as the mediator of Netzach and Hod. The biblical character associated with Yesod is Joseph, Jacob’s son. The influence of astrology happens at this level.

Malchut –    means “kingdom” and is the tenth and final sefirah. It is also called the Shekhinah which is associated with God’s presence as it is revealed.

Shekhinah is the Divine presence

Each of the major Parzufim contains all 10 Sefirot, specific Sefirot are identified with particular Parzufim. From each of these parzufim is emanated the different levels of the soul.

Adam Kadmon – The first world, contains all overall Providence.  Here is God’s specific will and plan to emanate the “worlds”; by the lights that are emanated from the “ears,” “nose,” “mouth” of  Adam Kadmon.

Attika Kaddisha and Arich Anpin (The Holy Ancient One and the Long Face) are identified with the Sefirah Keter. From here is emanated the level of soul called “Yachidah”.

Abba (the Supernal Father ) corresponding to Chochmah. From here is  emanated the level of soul called “Chayah”.

Imma (the Supernal Mother) corresponding to Binah, From here is emanated the level of soul called “Nashama”.

Ze’ir Anpin (The Short-faced One)  corresponding to the Sefirot from Chesed to Yesod

From here is emanated the level of soul called “Ruach”

Nukvah (the Female) (corresponding to Malchut). From here is emanated the level of soul called “Nefesh”.

There are also six secondary Parzufim:

Jacob and Israel, which are aspects of Ze’ir Anpin

Rachel and Leah, which are aspects of Nukvah,

Israel Sava and Tevunah, are parzufim made from the lower sefirot of Abba and Imma.

The Worlds  emerge out of God’s infinite light and culminate in our finite physical universe.

Ein Sof –   which means “the infinite.” It is the highest level the The limitless Light of God.

Atzlut Atzilut is the “World of Emanation” or Nearness to God. Atzilut is the world of Godly awareness. It is the realm of people who have so refined themselves to a very high level. The Level of soul called “Chyah” resides here.  The world of Atzilut is in a state of perfect and eternal rectification. This is not the case with regard to the three lower worlds, which require our Divine service on earth to redeem the falling sparks of Divinity in them and thereby bring them to a full state of rectification

Beriah Beriah is the world of creation. It is the world of the level of soul called “Nashamah”. Here the initial ethereal “substance” of creation emerges out of pure nothingness.  The  world of Atzilut is a world of “non-existence” (ayin), the world of Beriah is one of “potential existence” (yesh). This state of being is referred to as “formless matter” (chomer hiyuli). The world of Beriah is the spiritual abode of the serafim (“fiery angels”). These are the angles that the prophet Isaiah saw in his vision of the Divine chariot. These are the angles that exclaim  to God: “Holy, Holy Holy is the God of Hosts, the whole earth is full of His glory.”

Yetzira, or formation. Yetzira is the world of spiritual entities, angels. Here resides the level of soul called “Ruach”. The  angels belonging to the world of Yetzirah are the chayot hakodesh (“the living creatures”). These are the angels which Ezekial saw in his  vision of the Divine chariot. These angels are in a continuous state of “run and return,” the essential life dynamic  of continuous movement.

Asiyah is the physical world. This is the world “where the action is” – where perfection and rectification takes place. The creatures of the world of Asiyah are divided into the mineral, vegetable, animal and human categories. This the world of the animal soul called Nefesh. The world of Asiyah (in particular, its physical dimension) is referred to in Kabbalah as “the world of celestial spheres [galgalim].The class of angles whose abode is the world of Asiyah are the ofanim (“the wheels of the chariot”).  Both the ofanim and the chayot hakodesh  share the attribute of aspiring upward, toward the level of the serafim in their Divine service “with great noise.” They proclaim together: “Blessed be the Glory of God from His place.”

There infinite names here are a few of the main ones :

אהי”ה – Ahyh  – Sefirah Keter divine will

י”ה– Yh- Sefirah Chuchmah wisdom creativity

יהו”ה – Yhvh -Sefirah Binah and Teferet Divine Understanding and balance

א”ל– Al  -Sefirah Chesed Kindness

אלהי”ם -Alhym – Sefirah Givurah severity restriction

שד”י – Sdy –  Sefirah Yesod Gateway of all the energy

אדנ”י– Adny  Sefirah Malchut, This name manifests the Divine presence

Parsha Masay

The eyes, ears, nose and mouth are 7 windows by which the soul ascends by 7 types of herbs. They all illuminate aspects of chuchmah. They are Nard which is Chesed of Chuchmah, Safron-Givurah, Calamus-Teferet, Cinnamon-Netzauch, Frankincence-Hod, Myrrh-Yesod, Aloes correspond to Malchut of Chuchmah. Herbs are conduits of angels Ofanim Chayot and Caruvim. Gold is something above, copper below and silver is in between filling the gap. Rabbi Avraham Abulafia teaches in Aor haSachel that Hashem chose Aravot (the heaven) of all the gilgullim (spheres) it is here He chose to set his כסא (thrown). Of all the stars of heaven he chose the sun, and from all the yesodot (elements) he chose fire. Of all metals He chose gold. Of all the trees He chose the Date palm tree, of all animals the Leviyaton, of birds the Eagle, of all beast the lion.

The oar Ha Chyim taught that “kayin” knew of the arms and feet of the earth. So he didn’t need to lay a hand on Abel to kill him. The four sides of the shechina (Divine presence) are according to the four flags of the “midbar”, and so are there four groups of Jews safardim, askanazim Catalonians and Italians. Cohen cooresponds to tohu, Levi to Vohu and Yisrael to chosech (darkness). All yisrael nourish from a light that is so bright it appears as darkness. The lights are revealed by raising up sparks through mitzvot and acts of kindness. Then new lights decent from above to the nefesh ruach nashama chayah and Yachida (levels of the soul) to each man accordingly. The main rising of sparks is by “tikun” (fixing) of the central piller. “Avodat haKodesh” (Holy works) makes zivug of Teferet (Balence) in Malchut (revelation of Divine presence in the earth), and flows rachamim (mercy) to sweeten “din” (judgment). The Nefesh of the sadeek (Holy person) creates the world. According to the Yesod (Gateway of energy) of their Nashama there is eminated their cavana (intentions) on the world, and by this we say Hashem (God) rules. This is the manuchah (rest) of sadeekem. By this they will inherit olam Haba. As the way they live now is from the Histashalut (unfolding of energy) from the “great Shabot”. The nose of the Shechinah (Divine Presence) has in it 370 lights. These sweeten its givurot (forces of restriction). Then there is found manuchah (rest). 370 lights are 300 of the first 3 sefirot and 70 lights are the 70 midot of 10 sefirot each. Hashem has pleasure through “Avodat Yisreael” when when they do His will, He is with them in the 6 “midot” (attributes)of love, fear and the beautiful sparks in the praise of Hashem in “devecut” (cleaving). Count from the world of Bina which is “oneg” (delight) the 7 “midot” till Yesod, then Malchut is called “bat Sheva”. (Count the quality of your avoda, until being complete in all 7 attributes). From the service of sadeekem doing mitzvot (commandments) and misim tovim (good deeds) its like there is made “nachat ruach” (a joy of spirit). there is made a tikun in the “mesach” (the screen filtering the light) that descends dressing in a garment drawn from the rekia (firmament). The light from above “oar yosher” (light that comes down) dresses in the sparks rising from below called “oar chozir”(sparks of light returning to its source rising). Moshe increased praise for Yisrael, becouse of this they merited to receive the Torah. Even if they were in a place of tuma (impurity) that the angels were afraid to enter they went out with a high hand. Always the Shechinah is in the sin of her children dwelling in their tuma so all the year without doubt one needs to purify themselves with water of Rachamim (Mercy) from Ima (Divine mother) by the middle pillar יהו”ה, so you will be pure before Hashem. The oar ha chyim teaches the purpose of the various exiles is to gather isolated segments of sanctity scattered in various branches of the klippa (vessel of the other side of concielment). We learn from Rabbi Moshe Cordevero that exile is a lack of unification of the sefirot, causing a separation from “nanhaga” (divine providence). When there is not sanctified the name of Hashem but it is desecrated before the nations, heaven forbid, there dresses the spiritual supervisors of the nations upon the flow of divine light nourishing from it. This is the exile of the shechinah, but even in exile the light of noga (sparks) surrounds. This is ” I am exiled in your midst”. This is the secret of the ofanim, angels of asiyah (this physical world).

This world is full of all kinds of light you just have to get those sparks from all things taking them from even from there captured place giving power to the “other side”. Raising them then up to the Holiness you shall then Rejoice in the Spirit of Holiness. We shall then all go from our “masay” (Journeys) of Exile to the Peace of complete redemption with our Messiah quickly in our days !

15   Health Problems Linked to Monsanto’s Roundup

Monsanto invented the herbicide glyphosate and brought it to market under the trade name Roundup in 1974, after DDT was banned. But it wasn’t until the late 1990s that the use of Roundup surged, thanks to Monsanto’s ingenious marketing strategy. The strategy? Genetically engineer seeds to grow food crops that could tolerate high doses of Roundup. With the introduction of these new GE seeds, farmers could now easily control weeds on their corn, soy, cotton, canola, sugar beets and alfalfa crops—crops that thrived while the weeds around them were wiped out by Roundup.

In the nearly 20 years of intensifying exposure, scientists have been documenting the health consequences of Roundup and glyphosate in our food, in the water we drink, in the air we breathe and where our children play.

Eager to sell more of its flagship herbicide, Monsanto also encouraged farmers to use Roundup as a desiccant, to dry out all of their crops so they could harvest them faster. So Roundup is now routinely sprayed directly on a host of non-GMO crops, including wheat, barley, oats, canola, flax, peas, lentils, soybeans, dry beans and sugar cane.

Between 1996 – 2011, the widespread use of Roundup Ready GMO crops increased herbicide use in the U.S. by 527 million pounds—even though Monsanto claimed its GMO crops would reduce pesticide and herbicide use.

Monsanto has falsified data on Roundup’s safety, and marketed it to parks departments and consumers as “environmentally friendly” and “biodegradable, to encourage its use it on roadsides, playgrounds, golf courses, schoolyards, lawns and home gardens. A French court ruled those marketing claims amounted to false advertising.

In the nearly 20 years of intensifying exposure, scientists have been documenting the health consequences of Roundup and glyphosate in our food, in the water we drink, in the air we breathe and where our children play.

They’ve found that people who are sick have higher levels of glyphosate in their bodies than healthy people.

They’ve also found the following health problems which they attribute to exposure to Roundup and/or glyphosate:

ADHD: In farming communities, there’s a strong correlation between Roundup exposure and attention deficit disorder (ADHD), likely due to glyphosate’s capacity to disrupt thyroid hormone functions.

Alzheimer’s disease: In the lab, Roundup causes the same type of oxidative stress and neural cell death observed in Alzheimer’s disease. And it affects CaMKII, an enzyme whose dysregulation has also been linked to the disease.

Anencephaly (birth defect): An investigation into neural tube defects among babies born to women living within 1,000 meters of pesticide applications showed an association for glyphosate with anencephaly, the absence of a major portion of the brain, skull and scalp that forms during embryonic development.

Spiritual Development DEEEP

ladder_to_heaven

How does one really  pray? Going beyond wishful religiosity and spiritual dogma? The Sages teach, The prayer of people is not answered because they do not know how to pray with the Divine Name formulas, the proper order of meditation. In other words, our prayers are not interacting with the specific spiritual coordinates that draw Divine abundance from the higher-dimensional realms and through the Foundation Stone to be revealed in the world. The center of all consciousness flows from the Foundation Stone on the Temple Mount. Which is presently imprisoned in a golden dome. The Divine flow of Divine consciousness from the Foundation Stone on the Temple Mount  will eventually eradicate all evil and fortify the good. As it is . It is a portal to the higher-dimensional Messianic Era that only needs be pried opened.

It is precisely from here we can unleash the Divine power that will bring completion to creation. We just need to do what is necessary to activate it with the correct kind of meditate pray, the “Cavanot” (Divine intentions). As through the Foundation Stone all prayers descend from above and ascend from below.

Meditate, Breathe slowly and deeply. Intend to connect to your soul. Feel the Divine  presence surrounding you and embracing you. Listen to the angels and souls in heaven singing, sing with them. Know your soul has a connection to all the great tzadikim who have ever lived. Know that they are alive now, in the dimension above ours, waiting for us to become aware of their presence. Know that The God is always sending His Torah down into the world at this very. Ask to be revealed this light and to be able to receive it. Become one with the light, be transformed to the light. At this level time and space are a illusion. We can still be in Beit HaMikdash.,at Sinai or in Gan Eden with the souls of “sadeekem”. Part of our “Nashamot”  are still in Heaven. Heaven is on earth, and there is only oneness.

Praying is a state of profound elevation, reaching out, connecting to Source of all Life.
Prayer  before the Holy One, blessed be He, must be uttered by one’s  lips, If one does not do so  his prayer is no prayer

The rabbis of the Mishnah have stated “Anyone who answers אמן יהא שמיה רבה (Amen, His great name shall be blessed for ever and ever) with all his power they rip up his decree of judgement for seventy years”

Why have few people found God through Jewish prayer ?

HERE IS ONE REASON — A father is at “Shul” seated in the row behind his son, who in turn was sitting next to his friends. The father’s prayer routine is all too typical a mixture of occasional focus on the “siddur” (prayer book), mysteriously interrupted by sudden and persistent bursts of dialogue with his friend seated a few seats away. This back an forth between the prayer book (God) and friend (distraction from God) goes on all the time in many places of worship.. At some point his son casually begins speaking to his friends. DOES ANYONE EXPECT TO EXPERIENCE GOD PRAYING LIKE THIS ?

DO THEY EVEN REALLY BELIEVE IN A GOD WHO HEARS PRAYER, OR IS THIS ALL “LIP SERVICE”.

Attach to אשרי it is Keter (Crown) and the head of the Torah, the tree of life. (Tikuny Zohar)

He who learns “Havayot” (names YHV”H pronunciations) , needs to learn them in order to build a building for God as it says, “And they healed the destroyed alter of God” (Kings 1 18:30). The secret of the matter one is able to destroy through the letters of God’s name, as it is written, “Lest they destroy through God” (Exo. 19:21). Therefore, one destroys through his sins, and he needs to build though prayer.

Ahaz ruled for 16 years, incited the nation to worship Baal, and sacrificed his sons in the Gei-hi-nom valley. The Bible reports that “He sacrificed and burned incense on the high places, on the hills and under every green tree”, but most importantly to our topic: “he cut the utensils of the house of God in pieces; and he closed the doors of the house of God…” The temple was desecrated and abandoned for 16 years. King Hizkiyahu immediately, on the very first day on his throne, opened the temple doors, and began the purification process. He assembles the Cohanim and Levi’im, and announces to them his intention to renew the covenant with God, and to renew the temple worship. However, as we have seen, he inherited a catastrophe: the process of purifying the temple and making it fit for worship, as speedy as he was, still took 16 days. 1 day for each year that it was closed. Hizkiyahu was immediately confronted with an enormous problem in the first month of his reign: he began his rule on the first day of Nissan; 16 days later it is already time for Pessah. Hizkiyahu has an outside the box brainwave: let’s make the year a leap year! We’ll turn Nissan into Adar II, and we shall celebrate Pessah in another month, in purity and joy. We shall renew the covenant and return to days of glory in an orderly and dignified manner. There were a number of halachic problems with this stroke of genius the most blatant obstacle. One cannot declare a leap year in the month of Nissan! The deadline has passed; one cannot in the middle of Nissan turn it into Adar II. The Mishnah tells us that Hizkiyahu “declared a leap year in Nissan, and the Sages did not concur.” Indeed, he even defied the Sages and went against the tide, for he understood what he would achieve by doing so; and what he stood to lose if he would be “strict”. It is very unclear from the verses what actually happened on that Pessah, and there is even a dispute amongst the Tannaic sages on the question, but in the end we see that Hizkiyahu was extremely conscious of the complexity of his decision: “for they ate the Pessah otherwise than prescribed. For Hizkiyahu prayed for them, saying, ‘May the good Lord pardon’’”, or in the original:

ה’ הַטּ֖וֹב יְכַפֵּ֥ר בְּעַֽד”

And indeed, God immediately condones Hizkiyahu’s acts “God listened to Hizkiyahu and healed the people.”

God has structured the universe so that the flow of  His Godly life-force, does not reach us directly. As created beings are unable withstand such holiness. So, the Divine life-force of our physical world  dresses in the high level of Chuchmah of Atzilus, through the succeeding levels until malchus of Atzilus, further on through the levels of B’riah and Yetzirah, and finally, through the world of Asiyah until the point of its transmission to us by malchus of Asiyah. Nevertheless, it is the life-force from God Himself, contracted, organized, it is the life-force from God Himself.

The sages teach there are four broad distinctions in the degree of Godly revelation. These are known as the 4 worlds. In the world of  Atzilus  Godliness is openly manifest, with little concealment. In B’riah the concealment of God’s presence is  greater. This allows for angels and such spiritual beings to exist as entities with their own identities.  Yetzirah is a level below that; and, finally, the world of Asiyah where God has so thoroughly concealed Himself that creatures of this physical world cannot perceive Him. Each of these four “worlds” or “realms” contain ten levels of Godliness manifest in that particular world.. These being the 10 sefirot

The same applies to the life force of the universe. On the exalted spiritual level of Bina, “understanding,” the ensuing emotional attributes exist only in potential. They do not really exist yet in their own right. It is only after the G-dly life-force has proceeded to the level of Z”a, the six “emotional” attributes, that these in turn acquire the ability to transmit the life-force further. However, just as human emotions can be misdirected if a person wants something “too much” or fears something “too much,” the “excess” of the spiritual life-force expressed through Z”a is susceptible of being “pirated,” usurped, used to animate evil instead of good (God forbid).

The emotional sefiros , those of the level of soul called Ruach, are contained in potential within the intellectual sefirah of bina (Sefirot of the soul level called Nashama). They are in a state refered to as  “an embryo in the womb of their mother, bina (divine understanding, the soul level Nashama)

The sefirah of malchus has nothing of its own. This is because the function of malchus is to bring into actuality that which had previously existed only in potential within the “womb” of bina (divine understanding, the soul level Nashama).

At first Z”a is only the six “corners” and Nakavah is only a single point. By means of our deeds, Z”a becomes a complete partzufim back to back with Nakavah. The second fixing is to turn them around face to face. They can then have zivug.

On weekdays, we can accomplish two things by means of our prayers. First we rectify Zu”n until they reach the state of complete partzufim comprising ten sefirot each, but back to back. The second fixing is to turn them around face to face. They can then couple.

During the “Smittah” (sabbatical year), the partzufim already are of ten sefirot each, facing back to back, we need to turn them around face to face. In the sabbatical year, the “masculine waters” are drawn by themselves, so all agricultural work is forbidden. Plants that grow on their own, however, may be gathered, because they grow by themselves. But whatever man grows through his own efforts is forbidden.

The Sabbath is an even greater level of sanctity, the parzufim already are face to face . Our prayers on Sabbath elevate Zu”n to a level higher, up to the level of Abba and Ima, as is known.

On festivals, Rosh Chodesh, and the intermediate days of the festivals, the Partzufim also experience various ascents through our prayers, but in these cases they both ascend simultaneously, as is known.

“Zivug” of Yisrael and Rachel is on Mussaf of Shabot. When Rachel grows to the full hight of Z”a. The “Zivug” of Yaakov and Rachel is in Tefilla of weekday mornings, in the last blessing of the Amida in “Sim Shalom”. The “zivug” Yakov and Leah is at midnight. This Leah stands the entire length of Z”a (Yakov). The “zivug” of Yisrael and Leah is on “Minchah” of weekdays. Here Leah is only standing from the chest of Z”a (Yisrael) and above. The “Zivug” Yakov and Leah is during the weekday evening prayer in the Amida in “Sim Shalom”.

When names of God are intertwined one with another for example יאהדונהי which is “Yichud” (unification) of the names אדני and יהוה by taking the first letter of one, and then follow it with the first letter of another, and then continue with the second letter of the first name and then the second letter of the second name etc., this produces a “Yichud” , a joining of His names and through this, blessing comes about. It is forbidden to pronounce these names when they appear in this way, but one must meditate upon them, but it is forbidden to pronounce the name as is written this way.

The word “Amen” is of Biblical origin. It appears only in two passages of the Torah twice in the passage of Bemidbar 5:22  and Devarim 27:15-16.

With Psalm 25 in the “Tachnun” prayer  it’s possible for one’s soul  to bring out the sparks of holiness from the unclean worlds. With  concentration on “mesiras nefesh” – giving away one’s soul for Hashem (God). However most Sidurim bring a different psalm because of the great danger involved in pronouncing Psalm 25

Praying should take one to a state of profound elevation, reaching out and connecting with the Source of all life. In prayer, we transcend our limited
self and join with the limitless Infinite this should be a moment of complete
abandonment of self. The service of prayer really requires one to cleave to the secrets of Chochmah  of Atzilut to properly cleave to his Master by the supernal mysteries. This person the Holy One, blessed be He, proclaims to all His hosts and legions in all the worlds Take care of this one, they are trusted by the King.  all the Master’s mysteries in their hands.’ Happy are they in this world, and  in the World to Come. From that day onward, they are known and observed in all the worlds. In his time of need, all the hosts and legions are ordered to be with them. And the Holy One, blessed be He, needs nothing but him alone. When God designated Yisrael as the Chosen people in this world, He crowned them with Holy crowns similar to those above.

The are 5 “Zivugim” (unifications) of Tefilla (Prayer)

ZIVUG 1: This is Zeir Anpin which is called Israel, and its female counterpart is called Rachel. The time for this  “zivug” is during the “Musaf” prayer on Shabbat, at which time Rachel, who is usually only up to the chest of Zeir Anpin, grows to equal his full size, and a “zivug” is able to occur with the real yesod.

ZIVUG 2: This is the “zivug” of Yaakov and Rachel during the weekday shacharit [morning prayer]. It occurs through his real yesod.

ZIVUG 3: This is the “zivug” of Yaakov and Leah, and it occurs after “chatzot” [midnight]. At that time both enlarge, spreading to the full length of Zeir Anpin.

ZIVUG 4: This is the “zivug” of Israel with Leah during the weekday “minchah” [afternoon prayer]. She only extends to the length of his upper half, until his chest-aspect.

ZIVUG 5: This is the “zivug” of Yaakov with Leah during the weekday “Ervit” [evening prayer], which occurs over the upper half of Zeir Anpin. (Shar Gilgulim)

Who ever INTENTLY reads the section of incense is protected from all evil things, sorcery, bad punishment and death, on that day

PARSHA BO – THE GREATEST STORY EVER TOLD !

11
PARSHA                                                         Bo

Bs”d

In this parsha is what is most likely the greatest story ever told. The Story of the Hebrews being redeemed by God and taken out of Egypt.  Upon knowledge of this depends the first, of the Ten Commandments to believe in God. For this reason it is written: “I am God that took you out of Egypt…”. Thus all the Commandments, depend on ones’  belief in the Story of the Hebrews being redeemed by God. As by this knowledge, the God of the Hebrews is their Commander and there is reason to do the commandments in His Torah.

Pharaoh was most stubborn he refused to admit that there is a King of the Universe who was the God of the Hebrews. This is because Pharoah is the same letters in Hebrew as ‘arof’ meaning ‘back of the neck’ this alludes to the fact that Pharoe who represents the evil inclination only wants us to see things from a view from the “back”. He wants to keep God and His intentions hidden. He want us to have nothing to do with the ‘face’ of God  which is called  “Holiness”. He wants to keep us in the “dark” not knowing whats going on “really”. Not recognizing or understanding our personal Divine providence as it effects our lives !

In the very beginning of our parsha GOD informs Moses to go into pharoe and GOD than tells Moses that he will harden his heart to his requests. This happens time and time again. One can only ask what is going on ? What is the use of even going in to Pharoe and asking to “let the people go”, if there is not even a chance of Pharoe conceding to his request. Moses went to Pharoe time and time again asking to “let the people go” only each time to face failure. The Aor ha Chyim says Moses must have despaired. From here we can obviously learn a number of lessons. Take to heart that like Moses, even when we go on a mission to accomplish something that is in accordance with the will of GOD. We may find that it may come only after great difficulty. We must serve GOD with joy even if the difficulties we face create situations that could lead to despair. We must serve GOD with joy and not despair. We can see from the occurrences in our parsha that the difficulties we face are also part of GOD’s plan. We can grow from such things that “appear” as problems, by drawing joy from GOD’s wellsprings. Thus negating the despair, as we know that this too is GOD’s will. Through this one learns to illuminate the darkest hour, and how to reach deep into the well of GOD’s delight. When one faces “low tides”, hard times one realizes GOD is blessing through withholding his blessing. By this we grow and our soul reaches to its source in the delight of GOD in its root and source. When we need to reach far above to see the light.   It says “and the people took the dough before it was leavened, the kneading troughs bound in there clothes on their shoulders. And the children of Isreal did according to the word of moses and asked the Egyptians for Jewels, silver, gold and raiment. And GOD gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians. Sight referring to Chuchmah (Creative Divine inspiration). As when we make GOD’s will our own. Then being joined with it, so to the will of GOD all around us becomes fulfilled in Chuchmah from which the world is created continually which is fulfilled according to our needs. From this we see when we take our dough, representing our physical concerns and give them less priority then our spiritual concerns when they come into conflict. GOD blesses us in the Physical in more ways than we can imagine. As Yisrael walked out of Egypt in possession of all its physical wealth.   The dough which was to become matza they put in their garments, on their shoulders. Just as we are instructed by the sages to put the Afficomen (last matzah of pessach seder) on our shoulders and then hide it. The eating of the afficomen is called in the seder tzphon (hiddeness). Thus we see when we take our physical concerns as said before and put them aside, as the afficomen is put aside till later in the seder. Then after we are satiated we eat the afficomen which is called in the seder tzphon (hiddeness) then we shall inherit the tzphon (hiddeness) of GOD as described in the song of songs “The cleft of the rock, in the secret of the stairs” reaching to the heights of Godly vision yielding the most profound delight. Thus will be fulfilled again as said in our parsha “And it came to pass on that very day it came to pass, that all the hosts of Yhv”h went out from the land of Egypt. It is a night of watchfulness to Yhv”h for bringing them out of the land of Egypt. This is a night of watching kept to Yhv”h by all the people of Israel throughout their generations.” Thus we will see as our sages say the redemption from the final exile will be like that from Egypt.

The Shechinah is destined to join Hashem when Shelah the descendant of Jacob attains his mature form called Shiloh which is gematria Moshe. Shelah and Shiloh are spelled exactly the same, except that Shiloh possesses an additional י .

Before the Redemption from Egypt The God told the Jews to circumcise themselves and to sacrifice a lamb before leaving Egypt, because both of these acts were done with self-sacrifice and complete trust in God. The lamb sacrifice entailed taking one of the gods of the Egyptians, holding it prisoner for four days, and murdering it before their eyes without fearing the consequences.  Circumcision required inflicting a large painful open bleeding wound in one’s self, just hours before beginning an arduous foot trek into the desert. We see from these 2 acts that redemption comes through self-sacrifice and complete trust in God.

And may we see the face of our righteous Mashiach quickly in our days.
