Attaining the Holy Spirit

The ability of the Biblical Prophets to prophesize did not come from no where. They learned, trained and worked to be blessed by the God to be able to manifest these abilities. The Rabbis of the Sanhedrin through out the centuries, would Teach the techniques Hinted at in the Sefer Yetzirah. They called it “Schools of Prophecy”. Most people do not realize that it is necessary to learn to be a Prophet. Once one learns the technique, then and only then, will The God choose those who he wants to be Prophets to the generation. These same techniques allow people to Experience/Know The God in a way that is not available through other techniques. Prophesy at this moment is not available but from these same techniques one is able to come upon various levels of “Ruach HaKodesh”. The Holy Spirit.

From the book Marachot Eloheme we learn that the main intent in GOD’s desire to create the world was so that man should become complete and thus merit to have Ruach ha Kodesh (Spirit of Holiness) dress upon him. By this he would reach levels of prophesy, and fill the world with peace and life. This would leave the force of evil no place to rest on, so it would die. When the yetzer hora (evil inclination) dominates then the light that GOD hid for the sadeekem (righteous) is hidden. It cannot be comprehended, but becomes hidden because of the serpent.  This light is the yesod (foundation-gateway) of חיים (true life). A man can come to comprehend but a little bit only after great toil. In his body there must illuminate fear before he will be given any comprehension in these matters. This is a ruling of the tree of life, also according to this sadeekem are given comprehension in Gan Aden (Garden of Eden). GOD is exacting in the judgements of this matter to the finess of “a single hair”. This is whats called the 2 sided sword, it is before Gan Aden (Garden of Eden). GOD placed this sword in Gan Aden to guard the way to the Atz Chym (tree of knowledge) after Adam sinned and was no longer fit to eat from it. Know that in the Torah rests the comprehension of the fruit of the Atz Chym (Tree of life).1 Its written “A flaming sword stands to the east of the garden to guard the way to the Tree of Life” (Genesis 3:22-24). The way is derech eretz (proper conduct).2

The level of Torah call “Torat Atzilut,” (World of Emination) or “Torat Moshiach,” (Torah of Messiah) is level of Torah that will return to us at the time of the Moshiach. It is the Torah that is  called  Aitz HaChaim (the Tree of Life). It can only be an elixir for life. It is the ultimate level of Torah, that of the First Tablets. It is a “elixir for life” and it will automatically promote Derech eretz (ethics). This level of Torah called Aitz HaChaim is Chesed (kindness)-based. It automatically fixes the character of the person who learns it, and those whom he affects. The second set of tablets Moshe descended with eighty days later are on the level of the Aitz HaDa’at Tov v’Rah (tree of good and evil). It is either an “elixir for life”, or “an elixir for death”. The Second Tablets is the Torah of the world of Beriyah. The Gevurot (severities) in them are the prohibitions of the Torah. They are for the sake of protecting and distancing from impurity and filth, which is death. This is the Torah we all have now. The level of revealed Torah that the Jewish people departed Mt. Sinai with was not that of the Aitz HaChaim, but that of the Aitz HaDa’at Tov v’Rah, with which Gevurot (forces of severity and restriction) are associated. With this level of Torah there is no guarantee that one will automatically be elevated.  Derech eretz (ethics) must precede one’s approach to this Torah. If one is to be able to receive the “light” and use it to make “tikunim” (fixing) and gain divine awareness.3 In Beor Esser Sefirot it is taught that he who walks in simplicity without צורה (form) or דמות (likeness) and is far from physicality and recognises their creator Who created them. He does not go after his eyes. There is open to him the gate of righteousness in his heart. Then he can call to The God. They call and see the Glory of GOD (the name of God) and they understand the סוד (secret), because there is nothing but GOD. They give over yichud (unification of the Name of God) twice daily. This is the gate of heaven. To them is אות (signs). Their eyes see. GOD does miracles and wonders. The fool does not understand this.4

It’s taught in Pre Atz Chayim that the voice and breath make a “makava” (divine chariot)  to join with the souls of the “sadeekem Reshonim”. Breath is the aspect of ה of יהו”ה , while voice is from thought is from the ו. Rabbi Moshe Chyim Lazatto teaches that the souls of sadeekem (Holy men) become “ibor” (impregnate- joined) with the Nefesh Ruach and Nashama (Animal Emotional and intellectual soul)of men. Its even possible to reach to the soul of Moshe.5 One who speaks Torah in the name of a sadeek (Holy man) his Nashama is with him, and he works with him. He also recieves the light of the sadeek’s Torah. It goes over strengthening his Nashama. If one does not give over the Torah in the name of him who spoke it first its supernal light is withheld.6 The Ar’i Hakodesh also taught that he merited Torah by working hard to understand the zohar. Three times each day Eliyahu Ha Novi would come to teach Rebbi Shimon and Rebbi Eliazer, how can one not read it ?. Rabbi Argosi teaches that from learning Zohar one merits levels very high in Olam Haba which are otherwise inaccessible. This is becouse with the Zohar’s understandings concerning the mitzvot. The mitzvot have more value. There is no end for a man to apply understanding to the mitzvot. The Ramban said “ The foundation of all “Chachmot” (wisdoms) stands on who is GOD.7 In Shar Mimori Rasb’y the Ar’i teaches that nashamot of “Imma” are drawn from “imma Illah” by way of truth and faith. Torah is called truth, and faith is the foundation and source of divine service. Rabbi Yaakov Abuchitzera teaches that a man needs “Emuna” engraved upon his heart so that his “dat” (knowledge) is in אמנה  שלמה (perfect faith) in things of the Kaballah. In this they will see “mammash”.8 Rabbi Nachman of Breslov teaches that through faith one achieves intellect.9 Rabbi Moshe Cordevero teaches in his commentary to the Zohar called Aor Yakar that there is united Chuchmah and Bina in Keter by Dat . Recieve Bina from Chuchmah through Dat. Dat is the Yesod of Rachamim. It is the source and Nashama of Teferet. Unification of Chuchmah and Bina illuminates dat in Bina. The flow of chuchmah is arroused throught Dat that is in Bina. Ultimately רעותא (arousal) is Divine will, it is Ketter. This is life of the worlds which is the Yesod below illuminating upon the earth which is Machut. Chuchmah is called arrousel from above, as it is above Bina. There is the מאורות, and fineness. Ketter is a aspect of flow in Bina that is not through Chuchmah. Keter can flow by way of the central pillar in Teferet, not through Bina or Chuchmah  reaching chesed. Keter makes a path (of Bina) for itself. It is the dwelling place of the Shechinah. 10 It is according to one’s Dat, which is “penimi” in the sefirot that there is a “segulah” (miraculous power) to unite with רצון (Divine will).11

The main intent in every revelation of GOD and in every creation is only for the Torah and Yisrael. Every man and the whole world was only created for this. The purpose is to nullify the klippot after this there will be refined our bodies and chitzon and they will be united with the Nashama and together they will rise to Malchut of Atzilut. As this is the essence of the most perfect union. From there it can rise up with no limit. Till Malchut of the Ayn Sof. This is the first source. This whole tikun is only made through the Torah and Yisrael. The source of Torah is the first revelation of light from Ayn Sof (Divine Infinate), this is the source of everything and to where it returns. The source of Yisrael is malchut of Atzilut. From there is created all of Bria Yetzera and Asiyah. Bria Yetzera and Asiyah (Spiritual worlds) are chitzon (external) and the Nashamot of Yisrael are penimi(internal), they are upper Dat. The middle pillar which is the secret of the Torah has light of the Ayn Soff. From the Dat in Machut are the souls of Yisrael. Revelation of penimi (internal aspect) of Dat (Dat) is from the central pillar by מ”ה. From it goes out Nashamot (Souls) with the light of the Torah.

Spiritual Development DEEEP

updated January 25th, 2017

How does one really  pray? Going beyond wishful religiosity and spiritual dogma? The Sages teach, The prayer of people is not answered because they do not know how to pray with the Divine Name formulas, the proper order of meditation. In other words, our prayers are not interacting with the specific spiritual coordinates that draw Divine abundance from the higher-dimensional realms and through the Foundation Stone to be revealed in the world. The center of all consciousness flows from the Foundation Stone on the Temple Mount. Which is presently imprisoned in a golden dome. The Divine flow from of Divine consciousness from Foundation Stone on the Temple Mount  will eventually eradicate all evil and fortify the good. As it is . It is a portal to the higher-dimensional Messianic Era that only needs be pried opened.

It is precisely from here we can unleash the Divine power that will bring completion to creation. We just need to do what is necessary to activate it with the correct kind of meditate pray, the “Cavanot” (Divine intentions). As through the Foundation Stone all prayers descend from above and ascend from below.

Meditate, Breathe slowly and deeply. Intend to connect to your soul. Feel the Divine  presence surrounding you and embracing you. Listen to the angels and souls in heaven singing, sing with them. Know your soul has a connection to all the great tzadikim who have ever lived. Know that they are alive now, in the dimension above ours, waiting for us to become aware of their presence. Know that The God is always sending His Torah down into the world at this very. Ask to be revealed this light and to be able to receive it. Become one with the light, be transformed to the light. At this level time and space are a illusion. We can still be in Beit HaMikdash.,at Sinai or in Gan Eden with the souls of “sadeekem”. Part of our “Nashamot”  are still in Heaven. Heaven is on earth, and there is only oneness.

The rabbis of the Mishnah have stated “Anyone who answers אמן יהא שמיה רבה (Amen, His great name shall be blessed for ever and ever) with all his power they rip up his decree of judgement for seventy years”

Why have few people found God through Jewish prayer ?

HERE IS ONE REASON — A father is at “Shul” seated in the row behind his son, who in turn was sitting next to his friends. The father’s prayer routine is all too typical a mixture of occasional focus on the “siddur” (prayer book), mysteriously interrupted by sudden and persistent bursts of dialogue with his friend seated a few seats away. This back an forth between the prayer book (God) and friend (distraction from God) goes on all the time in many places of worship.. At some point his son casually begins speaking to his friends. DOES ANYONE EXPECT TO EXPERIENCE GOD PRAYING LIKE THIS ?

DO THEY EVEN REALLY BELIEVE IN A GOD WHO HEARS PRAYER, OR IS THIS ALL “LIP SERVICE”.

Attach to אשרי it is Keter (Crown) and the head of the Torah, the tree of life. (Tikuny Zohar)

He who learns “Havayot” (names YHV”H pronunciations) , needs to learn them in order to build a building for God as it says, “And they healed the destroyed alter of God” (Kings 1 18:30). The secret of the matter one is able to destroy through the letters of God’s name, as it is written, “Lest they destroy through God” (Exo. 19:21). Therefore, one destroys through his sins, and he needs to build though prayer.

Ahaz ruled for 16 years, incited the nation to worship Baal, and sacrificed his sons in the Gei-hi-nom valley. The Bible reports that “He sacrificed and burned incense on the high places, on the hills and under every green tree”, but most importantly to our topic: “he cut the utensils of the house of God in pieces; and he closed the doors of the house of God…” The temple was desecrated and abandoned for 16 years. King Hizkiyahu immediately, on the very first day on his throne, opened the temple doors, and began the purification process. He assembles the Cohanim and Levi’im, and announces to them his intention to renew the covenant with God, and to renew the temple worship. However, as we have seen, he inherited a catastrophe: the process of purifying the temple and making it fit for worship, as speedy as he was, still took 16 days. 1 day for each year that it was closed. Hizkiyahu was immediately confronted with an enormous problem in the first month of his reign: he began his rule on the first day of Nissan; 16 days later it is already time for Pessah. Hizkiyahu has an outside the box brainwave: let’s make the year a leap year! We’ll turn Nissan into Adar II, and we shall celebrate Pessah in another month, in purity and joy. We shall renew the covenant and return to days of glory in an orderly and dignified manner. There were a number of halachic problems with this stroke of genius the most blatant obstacle. One cannot declare a leap year in the month of Nissan! The deadline has passed; one cannot in the middle of Nissan turn it into Adar II. The Mishnah tells us that Hizkiyahu “declared a leap year in Nissan, and the Sages did not concur.” Indeed, he even defied the Sages and went against the tide, for he understood what he would achieve by doing so; and what he stood to lose if he would be “strict”. It is very unclear from the verses what actually happened on that Pessah, and there is even a dispute amongst the Tannaic sages on the question, but in the end we see that Hizkiyahu was extremely conscious of the complexity of his decision: “for they ate the Pessah otherwise than prescribed. For Hizkiyahu prayed for them, saying, ‘May the good Lord pardon’’”, or in the original:

ה’ הַטּ֖וֹב יְכַפֵּ֥ר בְּעַֽד”

And indeed, God immediately condones Hizkiyahu’s acts “God listened to Hizkiyahu and healed the people.”

God has structured the universe so that the flow of  His Godly life-force, does not reach us directly. As created beings are unable withstand such holiness. So, the Divine life-force of our physical world  dresses in the high level of Chuchmah of Atzilus, through the succeeding levels until malchus of Atzilus, further on through the levels of B’riah and Yetzirah, and finally, through the world of Asiyah until the point of its transmission to us by malchus of Asiyah. Nevertheless, it is the life-force from God Himself, contracted, organized, it is the life-force from God Himself.

The sages teach there are four broad distinctions in the degree of Godly revelation. These are known as the 4 worlds. In the world of  Atzilus  Godliness is openly manifest, with little concealment. In B’riah the concealment of God’s presence is  greater. This allows for angels and such spiritual beings to exist as entities with their own identities.  Yetzirah is a level below that; and, finally, the world of Asiyah where God has so thoroughly concealed Himself that creatures of this physical world cannot perceive Him. Each of these four “worlds” or “realms” contain ten levels of Godliness manifest in that particular world.. These being the 10 sefirot

The same applies to the life force of the universe. On the exalted spiritual level of Bina, “understanding,” the ensuing emotional attributes exist only in potential. They do not really exist yet in their own right. It is only after the G-dly life-force has proceeded to the level of Z”a, the six “emotional” attributes, that these in turn acquire the ability to transmit the life-force further. However, just as human emotions can be misdirected if a person wants something “too much” or fears something “too much,” the “excess” of the spiritual life-force expressed through Z”a is susceptible of being “pirated,” usurped, used to animate evil instead of good (God forbid).

The emotional sefiros , those of the level of soul called Ruach, are contained in potential within the intellectual sefirah of bina (Sefirot of the soul level called Nashama). They are in a state refered to as  “an embryo in the womb of their mother, bina (divine understanding, the soul level Nashama)

The sefirah of malchus has nothing of its own. This is because the function of malchus is to bring into actuality that which had previously existed only in potential within the “womb” of bina (divine understanding, the soul level Nashama).

At first Z”a is only the six “corners” and Nakavah is only a single point. By means of our deeds, Z”a becomes a complete partzufim back to back with Nakavah. The second fixing is to turn them around face to face. They can then have zivug.

On weekdays, we can accomplish two things by means of our prayers. First we rectify Zu”n until they reach the state of complete partzufim comprising ten sefirot each, but back to back. The second fixing is to turn them around face to face. They can then couple.

During the “Smittah” (sabbatical year), the partzufim already are of ten sefirot each, facing back to back, we need to turn them around face to face. In the sabbatical year, the “masculine waters” are drawn by themselves, so all agricultural work is forbidden. Plants that grow on their own, however, may be gathered, because they grow by themselves. But whatever man grows through his own efforts is forbidden.

The Sabbath is an even greater level of sanctity, the parzufim already are face to face . Our prayers on Sabbath elevate Zu”n to a level higher, up to the level of Abba and Ima, as is known.

On festivals, Rosh Chodesh, and the intermediate days of the festivals, the Partzufim also experience various ascents through our prayers, but in these cases they both ascend simultaneously, as is known.

“Zivug” of Yisrael and Rachel is on Mussaf of Shabot. When Rachel grows to the full hight of Z”a. The “Zivug” of Yaakov and Rachel is in Tefilla of weekday mornings, in the last blessing of the Amida in “Sim Shalom”. The “zivug” Yakov and Leah is at midnight. This Leah stands the entire length of Z”a (Yakov). The “zivug” of Yisrael and Leah is on “Minchah” of weekdays. Here Leah is only standing from the chest of Z”a (Yisrael) and above. The “Zivug” Yakov and Leah is during the weekday evening prayer in the Amida in “Sim Shalom”.

When names of God are intertwined one with another for example יאהדונהי which is “Yichud” (unification) of the names אדני and יהוה by taking the first letter of one, and then follow it with the first letter of another, and then continue with the second letter of the first name and then the second letter of the second name etc., this produces a “Yichud” , a joining of His names and through this, blessing comes about. It is forbidden to pronounce these names when they appear in this way, but one must meditate upon them, but it is forbidden to pronounce the name as is written this way.

The word “Amen” is of Biblical origin. It appears only in two passages of the Torah twice in the passage of Bemidbar 5:22  and Devarim 27:15-16.

With Psalm 25 in the “Tachnun” prayer  it’s possible for one’s soul  to bring out the sparks of holiness from the unclean worlds. With  concentration on “mesiras nefesh” – giving away one’s soul for Hashem (God). However most Sidurim bring a different psalm because of the great danger involved in pronouncing Psalm 25

The Torah is a living incarnation of Divine wisdom, eternally emitting creative intelligence in the form of the “Ayn Sof” (the Infinite Light) and bringing forth ever new light into creation By its letters and their crowns. Torah directly embodies the Divine power that brings all worlds in to existence sustains them and guides their providential care. Learn how to get involved with the administration of these Divine forces in the Torah !

THE YEAR IS 5777 OF THE BIBLICAL CALANDER , THE 5777th VERSE OF THE TORAH IS ” The sword outside, and terror inside, shall destroy both the young man and the virgin, the suckling also with the man of gray hairs.”(DEUT 32:25) ?

Here are some biblical phrases that equal תשע”ז 777

(Psalms 24:1).

The relationship between the Creator and the creatures effects the life of men in a very tangible manner whether they recognize this or not. It is embedded in the foundation of the reality we live in. The fantasy and delusion is not seeing this and recognizing this effect of providence in our lives. The God effects changes in our lives according to strict and well defined rules, found in and alluded to in the Bible. These laws are discovered by anyone who climbs the spiritual ladder, and they come to know it by experiences in their life. Reading the Holy books brings this Divine supervision closer and makes one more aware of it.

Each of us is different and unique, but we all are bound to comply with the same Divine rules that underlie nature by Divine influence. We all have the chance to  advance from darkness and confusion to clarity and Divine vision.

To help us in this mission of going from darkness to light of consciousness the God has given us  Divine names as found in the prayers we have received from our prophets. Yet this matter is not simple and like all good things take considerable effort to learn how they work.

Eventually following this Divine rules, and learning how to work the Divine names in the meditation of pray yields spiritual revelation, the creature feels the Creator Who gives them perfect bliss, ultimately.

But before this occurs one is like a person who is suffering from an illness. First they must discover they are ill. Only then can he begin his healing, making their Divine correction called “tikun”.  By this God who acts as the Divine  physician of the soul helps us fix our damages to our souls. The God directs into our lives the proper medicine to heal us from our errors and lacking, until one attains health and happiness. Then one can in a much greater way appreciate the greatness and the kindness of the God.

The ability to join all we do in one direction, in order to delight the Creator, gives  us the ability to find genuine delight under any condition, under any circumstances. As  under any situation we remember what we live for and Whom we work for.

We are currently in the heel (end) phase of the six thousand year cycle, its now 5777. We are moving closer to the realization of messianic consciousness. When much evil will be destroyed we will be in the  the new messianic era. Do your part !

Every thought speech action or in action either pulls us closer to the God or pushes us farther away there is no neutral ground. We are continuously surrounded by angels and demons which will punish or reward us according to every thought, speech, action or in action we do now or later in this world or the next.

Channel one’s love and other emotions  to serve the Creator !

Betzalel, knew how to permutate the letters, through them were created the heavens and the earth !

Israel our nation numbering millions of people all saw the miracles of the Egyptian plagues, splitting of the sea, revelation at Sinai, getting food from the sky and water from a rock. No nation ever claimed or will ever claim that these types of miracles had happened to their ancestors this is something that is beyond this world.

The Torah was given Yisrael from God. Its like no other book ever written. The Torah seems like a collection of historical stories about  ancient Jew. In order to understand what this book really is one needs to understand what is encoded in it. To do this we must know Kabbalah. The most unassuming passages of Torah on might think have little significance  actually contain the deepest hints to supernal secrets. The more simple and uninformative the passages more likely contain profound secrets of Kabalah !

Obviously every letter of the Torah is holy and infinitely deep  !

It could not be all the “mitzvos” commandments were simply invented by a group of Jewish leaders. The people would never accept on themselves, Keeping “kosher” , having such strict dietary laws, having to wear “Tefillin” every day or prohibitions on premarital sex had they not known that their fathers also did this. They would have asked: “Why are you telling us that our entire nation experienced all these miracles? We have never heard anything like this except from you. Did the Exodus from Egypt take place in a secret?”

In fact this is the reason that the other religions start from a person who supposedly experienced a revelation. There is no religion in the world that claims a national experience similar to ours, as the Torah says (Devarim 4:33): “Did a nation ever hear the voice of God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as you have heard …” In particular the two large religions that spread over the world: Christianity and Islam both claim that the Jewish people received the Torah at Mount Sinai! Why wouldn’t these religions also claim that they began with a Divine Revelation witnessed by millions? The reason is simple: nobody can invent such a thing, and no nation would accept such belief system and its’ commandments had they not experienced these events personally.

Man  feels distance  from Hashem (The God) when one only follows their own physical desires that  the opposite side to the God’s Holiness. But when one chooses  to begin the rectification of their sins. They may then become worthy of hearing God’s voice that to them from the depth of their soul, called the “small still voice”. This is through the Mitzvot (Divine commandments) they refine the nature of Man, removing him from his pure physical selfish desires.  It is therefore written “listen closely to His Mitzvot and guard His Statutes”

UPDATED  MAY 25        2015

Imagine having a spiritual experience that is all enticing, so much fun it contains thrills, chills and excitement beyond compare. It surpasses all other things you have experienced. For this reason you want to have a experience like this again, a lot.  Each time after the  experience you dream about the next time you will “be there” again.

It comes when finding One’s Voice united with the Divine. By this you realize that life seems as passing the time preparing and waiting for that experience, listening deeply to the One of Being, that is upon you. There is nothing else you want to do, this is the direction life is taking you.

It is tapping into a life of Divine Consciousness that is  flowing continuous and everlasting.  By this movement of thought  we  recognize certain “jumping points” of thought, creative inspirations take shape and  come forth.  They provide something like a feedback loop to direct us in strengthening our Divine awareness and connection. So that you may come to grow in concert with the harmony of God’s  flowing energies that animate creation called the Sefirot. This is the fruit of Tree of Life Consciousness.

One needs to awakened their place in the continuum of unity with their Creator. They need to open the inner doors, unique connections to the flow of the Divine light to participate in the creative work of heaven, of the creation.

To actively participate having these Divine forces flow through you. you must have the  “Intention” to organize according to the Divine names the strengthening of the Divine will which is the agency of our Maker and creator, that is our higher consciousness, called “Nashama” which is a part of God.  Here is with the source of all things.

The Divine will Itself called Keter makes impressions to which we draw meanings to them. Here is where the work begins. Construction is through the Ten Sefirot. Through the  Ten Sefirot the  “impressions” are built in the power of the Divine Names. Most of the Divine names are so above the physical creation administering to it, so they can not be pronounced out loud. But here is a little know secret one may hum along with the names. I personally like to do this with modern music, the music seems to move the “Cavonot” (names).

Keter is connected to its source.it source of revelation of the “impressions”  By the inspiration of these “impressions” we create manifest the Divine will in the way in the way you to work with it, according to the level given to you to work with. It is you who translates what comes down to you from above, the “impression”. It will come come to manifest in this world, please god, according to the intention  you are planning in accordance to the “impression” God  has “sent”  through  you.

It impression develops into a “intention” this is Chochmah or  creative Divine Wisdom.

Chochmah  takes the impression and it receives its first definition in being. Before, the impression is no more that a intangible thought.

From Chochmah the details naturally flow into being. This is the initial transference of the image of the Divine will and one’s “cavana” (intention) from above to below.

But the details come into being by the power of  Binah (Understanding). The details are Binah.

The work is in Bina, here every detail of what will be, please God is directed. Once the impression is developed into a intangible intention it is “engraved” into this world By the force of Binah, Divine understanding. Each has this ability according to their level of revelation of Bina, which is the power of their Nashama.

The “engraving” is made by the force of Binah, Divine understanding through the Holy letter of creation,  by the force of Binah. Thus there are level upon levels of  “letters” and these are set into motion and animated by the Holy Names.

According to our grasping in Binah are transformed reflections of supernal ideas from the impressions spoke of above.

Binah is all encompassing, it is as the head to the body of the 6 lower sefirot. Binah gives birth of the intention of one’s meditation in this world through the 6 lower sefirot. 6 dimensions are engraved by Binah in the power of the 6 lower sefirot, Chesed to Yesod. The connection, spiritualization of thought, flowing of Intention through the Sefirot continues  to with in The Malchus.  According to this is the Divine will continuously bringing forth and manifesting  in all levels from the Supernal upper Holy worlds to this physical world below.

Elokim made man in His image” at Creation. By the Needed “tikunim” (fixing) man shall come to again completely reflect this Divine image. So to everything shall come to be as according to its ultimate “Divine image”. This is the purpose of the creation of man that he could bring himself and all creation to reveal its true Divine Nature. But now  he stands in a corrupted state, but he can come to stand in the divine image again.

Only by  knowing a thing is one “really” aware of it and understands  it. With this depth of understanding  the impression must be developed into a intangible intention it is “engraved” into this world By the force of Binah in a brilliant manner.

The higher we climb the ladder, the higher the top of the ladder reaches. The ladder is learning Torah and mediation.

First Yaakov sees all the angels of God rising from the earth and descending from the heavens. The sages say these were the angels who supervise the nations of the world. While on top of the ladder is God who alone supervises the providence of Yisrael, the whole world and all in it. If they will only draw close to him and follow his will God would give them everything. Next are born the 12 tribes. These 12 sons of Yaacov who entered Egypt with their families numbered  70 in all as listed in Exudus. These parallel the 70 nations of the world listed in Genesis.

The ladder of Jacob’s dream is  prayer. Jewish prayer (meditation) is a teaching passed down from their Prophets. It is written in the Zohar that the ladder in Jacob’s dream is a metaphor for prayer (Tikunei Zohar #43).In the dream, the ladder represents prayer as the connection between man, situated at the bottom of the ladder, and God who appears at the top of the ladder.  The numerical value of “sulam”, ladder equals 136, the same as “kol”, voice. The ladder is the voice of prayer rising from the heart of man who is firmly entrenched in the physical world below, till it reaches the heavens and God who is ever present above the ladder. Through the act of prayer man’s consciousness rises from rung to rung, and although standing on the earth, his or her spiritual awareness is truly elevated to the heights of heaven.

AND KNOW

During the second temple period the last of our prophets and our sages who were of highest spiritual level of Divine knowledge saw the future spiritual decline of our people so instituted three daily prayers of 18 blessings. On the simple meaning the three daily prayers – morning, noon and evening correspond to daily offerings in the temple. In these prayers every letter, every word has enormousness spiritual depth. Even now, when we are no longer on such high spiritual level we can still invoke their inherent spiritual powers by carefully following our sages instructions concerning how to “work” these “prayers”.

The morning prayer can be roughly divided into two parts – ascending though each spiritual world to request Light and then bringing the Light down into each spiritual world as we descend. Here is the basic structure of the prayer:

1. Morning Blessings & Korbanot – Asiyah (going up)

2. Kaddish (eliminate Klipot from Asiyah before getting to Yetzirah)

3. Piskei De-Zimra – Yetzirah (going up)

4. Kaddish (nullify Klipot from Yetzira before getting to Beriyah)

5. Sma – Beriyah (going up)

6. Shmone Esray (silent prayer of 18 blessings) – Atzilut

7. Ashrei – Beriyah (bringing the Light down)

The seventy voices of a woman giving birth correspond to the seventy words in Psalm 20, which begins, “ G-d answer you on the day of pain.”

8. Kaddish (nullify klippot)

8. Song of the day (each day connects to a specific aspect of the soul), bringing the Light down)

9. Kaddish (nullify klippot)

10. Aleinu – brings the Light down to our world

The Kadish is said at the conjunction of worlds, as between Yetzera and Bria. Kaddish is said in Aramaic which attracts Klippot. The Holy AR”I explains that when the klipot attach themselves to its words the Kadish brings them to much higher level, and there they are eliminated.

There is no Kadish between Beriyah and Atzilut, as Klippot don’t exist on this high level.

Our Holy prophets through our sages have left us much instruction on how to invoke the inner and surrounding lights and make many corrections in spiritual worlds.

We must do our best to understand the deep meanings in our prayers. By this we may make the needed corrections and attract the needed lights for the final redemption.

The first three blessings and the last three blessings of the Amida are ten sefirot of בלי מה ( without what) corresponding to the two names יהוה אדני and their eight letters, which are ten, Being the lower Shechinah אדני from below to above from אני to אין. Plus ten from יהוה above to below from the middle pillar. (Tikunim)

The Arizal taught that prayer itself is comprised of four sections or rungs on a ladder and that these sections relate implicitly to the four ascending worlds of Kabbalah. The first rung of prayer comprises the preliminary morning blessings until the prayer Baruch Sheamar, which begins the next section. The morning blessings correspond to the world of Assiyah, action. The series of blessings thank God and acknowledge His goodness in providing for all the basic abilities and requirements enabling us to function in the practical world of action. In this section we create a vessel in this physical world for the coming blessings of our meditation. We fix our own physical bodies.

The second rung consists of the section of prayer referred to as Pesukei D’Zimrah, Verses of Praise. These prayers are comprised of the psalms of David, inspiring praises to God for creating the beautiful world we live in. This section corresponds to the world of Yetzirah, formation. Nature both reveals and hides God. It is for us to search for God and praise His manifest creation, maintaining a sense of awe even when ”grown up.” This world relates to our emotional attachments and response to the world around us. This section of the meditation fixes the soul level called “Ruach” (Spirit) , the Emotional soul.

The next section of prayer is centered around the recitation of the Shema, the ultimate unification of the NAME OF GOD in His creation. This section begins with a description of how the angels daily praise God and leads into the Shema, the revelation of the soul’s understanding of the nature of God’s unity. The beginning of this section represents the angels ascending and descending on the ladder and culminates with man standing humbly, yet elevated, ready to speak directly to the Creator. This once again teaches us that ultimately the soul is rooted in a higher place than even the angels. This third rung corresponds with the world of Briyah, creation and relates to the intellect. This level is the Soul called “Neshama” (soul of Divine intellect). This level of the soul is a part of the God itself. By the Meditation of the “Sma” we unify the Divine name YHV”H with our self and everything in a more revealed way preparing us for the work of the next level.

The final rung on the ladder of prayer is the recitation of the Amida, the silent prayer. This corresponds to the world of Atzilut, emanation, where man encounters God who appears above the head of the ladder, in a state of intimate union. At this level a man joins God as a partner in creation. This level is actual “emanation” of the powers of creation. This prayer- meditation is another ladder itself having 18 levels corresponding to the 18 vertebrae of the Spine. It is taught in the Yerushalmi Berachot that one hundred twenty elders and eighty prophets ordained the Amida meditation (the standing prayer). This hints at its awesome depth. Infinite Divine names fill these 18 levels. The simple level of this meditation is known. Its secrets are not taught in public but are only passed down on a one to one basis.

By the traditional prophetic meditations and the implementation of the ancient knowledge which supports the meditations the fountains of well springs will open up and flow for anyone . Anyone who does the work.

While approaching the ladder of Holiness to enter the upper worlds one must elevate this physical world by their actions. Observe, to accomplish the gathering of  Holiness of the giving birth to the extended family of the 70 children of Yisrael first Yaakov had to go through great treachery and deceit from Lavan. The greatest revelation of light founding the world came from the patriarch Yaakov and his wives as they gave us the foundation of the Hebrew people, but at what cost. Such hardship one has to undergo to reveal the Shechina in this world. One cannot expect it to be easy. Its written in Safer Giloyah Raza that the evil forces are always trying to get permission from the supernal court to try to test and trouble one who can or is trying to increase Holiness in this world. On top of all the trouble with Lavan , his own brother Asev wants to kill him.

All the sufferings we endure in this world make us stronger. Like a runner who jumps over bigger and bigger hurdles. After each Klipa (obstacle) is overcome it reveals its spark of vitality, its light which then enlivens us. Each time we do good and turn from evil we show to God how much we love him. It is by these ”opportunities” which seem as hardships we can give thanks to God for. As it is by these ”opportunities” that we earn our entrance fee into the world to come, and from such comes our portion.

It can be observed from the parsha that that just as Yaakov thought that he married Rachel but in the morning found it was Leah. So to in the time of the morning, time of revelation of new light the true nature of people becomes revealed, and this new nature may make one appear as though they went through a total transformational experience. Then one may have difficulties in\ their relationships dealing with one who appears to them as a different person then they once knew. But by overcoming obstacles  causing confusion they can come to great results as with Yaakov and Rachel. As their first child was Yosef who saved all Yisreal in Egypt and from his descendants will arise Mashiach ben Yosef who will overcome our enemies. Yaakov had to work 7 more years to marry Rachel. Needless to say all the trouble that the wicked sorcerer Lavan inflicted upon Yaakov, and his financial treachery. His daughter Dina gets raped. Then, to top it all off, he spends the next 22 years thinking his son Yosef was killed by wild animals.

But in the end all the deceit that Lavan worked against Yaakov only turned to blessings, as will all the curses in the Torah to those who merit such. As Yaakov saw in his dream that God took great concern for him, and the ordeals that he had to go through in the house of Lavan. God rewarded him greatly as he multiplied exceedingly in good when he left Lavan’s house. He was blessed in a supernatural way. Fulfilling the teaching of the Torah that that the righteous are put to sufferings in a natural way, but their deliverance comes about with signs and wonders.

The Rabbis note that parsha (Vayetze) does not begin on a new line. Instead it is separated from the previous parsha (Toledot) by only eight spaces. Most parshas do begin on a new line. Out Of the 52 Torah portions, there are very few parsha that do not begin on a new line and these parsha are called “closed”.

GOD has His reasons for everything He does. Sometimes we can’t figure out  why  things happen. Yaakov. His life becomes incredibly miserable. Here is a good man, who listens to his mother and does what she tells him to do and all he gets is more than twenty years of headaches, as it appears.

Yaakov couldn’t figure anything out in this parsha – from start to finish it was all confusion to him. That it why it is a closed parsha – Parsha S’tuma. But by close observation we can see that Yaakov decieved his brother Asev taking his rights as first born and his paternal blessings. And we see Yaakov deceived by Lavan making him marry Leah instead of Rachel. Yaakov’s  son’s deceive him for 22 years allowing him to think Yosef is dead for 22 years. The Ar”i tells us these same 10 sons of Yaakov who sold their brother Yosef were incarnated as the 10 Martyrs killed by the Romans. Rabbi Akiva was the only one who is said to have entered and left “Pardes” in Peace. A Divine voice announced concerning him that the merited the Eternal life of the world to come, but Rabbi Akiva died as one the the 10 Martyrs killed by the Romans. Rabbi Yuhuda Ben Baba was the only sage of his Generation who was not killed by the Sadukee king Alexander Yanai but he also was one of the 10 Martyrs killed by the Romans. The God’s ways are not our ways and are very hard to understand, if even possible ?

One must not wait for miracles for deliverance from evil, and one cannot expect providence above nature to always protect them. They need to seek a natural way to deal with the trials of this world. Here again we learn the lesson ” one must deal with the wicked with subtly”.  In last weeks parsha Yaakov used guile to get his blessings, taking them away from the wicked Asev.  In our parsha Yaakov sneaks away from Lavan with his belongings because he  feared that Lavan may never let him leave, or take his rightful possessions with him if he were to announce his departure. This is the 2nd parsha in a row this lesson is taught, so we should take heed.  ”One must deal with the wicked with subtly”. The crooked cannot be made straight, so they must be dealt with accordingly.

Everyone in the world has a unique mission. There are a certain number of missions that have to be accomplished in the world. Our sages tell us that if a person doesn’t address himself to his own purpose and mission in life, the fellow next to him who does, will get his portion and the other guy’s portion in this world and the next as well.

Asev sold his birthright, he gave up his “mission”, he lost his blessings. GOD gave Yaakov exceptional strength. He had to be as strong as Esav but using the physical power for God. He would need to apply this strength in various situations – sometimes to bash in heads, sometimes to show superhuman control, and other times to go to war. This is why the Torah has to tell us about Yaakov’s awesome strength.

Yaakov comes to the well at the beginning of the parsha, he meets some

shepherds who are from Lavan’s territory, and they are all waiting to gather together enough people to remove a huge boulder covering the well. The Torah off handedly tells us that when Rachel comes along, Yaakov turns into Superman and is able to lift the massive boulder off the well as easy as pie. As the Talmud says, it was as easy as removing a cork from a bottle.

The blessing Yaakov gave to Yehuda was: “His hands will be against his enemy.” Who was the greatest descendent of Yehuda? King David, who was a red-haired fellow  with a ruddy complexion (Asev is called Edom which means red). He killed hundreds of thousands of enemies of the Jewish People. He was the archetype of what Esav could have been.

Yaakov in Hebrew is the same letters as Akev (heel), which is also the same letters as in the name Akiva. Rabbi Akiva was a reincarnation of Yissachar the son of Yaakov, whose’s soul came from the level of Akev (heel), The soul level of the heel of Asev that Yaakov repaired.

The vast majority of Jews have not assumed the mission they are supposed to. Someone else must pick up these unattended missions. There is much we must and can do. Then we will see the Hands are the hands of Asev and the voice is that of Yakov with the revelation of the Messiah quickly in our days.

The numerical value of sulam, ladder equals 136, the same as kol, voice.

The simple level of this meditation are known. Its secrets are not taught in public but are only passed down on a one to one basis.

The greatest revelation of light founding to the world came from the patriarch Yaakov and his wives as they gave us the foundation of the Hebrew people, but at what cost.

Then one may have difficulties in their relationships dealing with one who appears to them as a different person then they once knew.
