You can not really read the Torah and not see how God feels about the Land of Israel. You have to do some major intellectual contortions to study it – or the Talmud, and believe that the Jewish people are the same on the Land as off, or that they are involved in mitzvot on the same level outside as inside The Land. As the sages teach us. Torah mitzvot are meant to be performed in Israel. Performing mitzvot outside of Israel is for practice (Sifri, Devarim 43).) A Jewish person runs to do a mitzvah – and yet so many Jews balk at performing one of the greatest, living in the Holy Land. I find this perplexing to say the least. Moreover, I feel sorry for Jews who do not understand the incredible honor and fulfillment of meriting to watch this nation be rebuilt. I wonder how “religious” Jews in the Diaspora can stand to miss such an occasion. Are they going to miss the coming of Mashiach too ? It’s like saying that you are a professional golfer. You have the best training, the best golf clubs, but you have never been to the golf course !
How do we know that the exile is almost finished, and the final redemption must be near. ?
Well first of all It is written concerning the Final Redemption:
It shall come to be on that day that the Lord will once again show His hand… And He will gather in the dispersed ones of Judah from the four corners of the earth. (Isaiah 11:11-12)
It is know that in the era of the Redemption itself will come the end of the exile, rebuilding the Temple, gathering all the Jewish people, bringing them back to Israel, and the Messiah will usher in an age of universal peace.
According to the Israel Central Bureau of Statistics there were 13,421,000 Jews worldwide in 2010.
On the eve of Israel’s 62nd Independence Day (2010) 5,726,000 Jews live in Israel.
ONE SHOULD NOTICE THAT THIS IS A BIG STEP TOWARD THE COMPLETION OF THE REDEPTION.

The Rambam says in Hilchot Shmita and Yovel that when the Jews return to the land of Israel they will have to start keeping Tithes and Shmita (Sabatical year) and start counting the Yovel (Jubilee year).Then these commandments will be considered Deoraita (a obligation from the Torah).

It is very clear that with close to half of the Jewish people living now in the land of Isreal we are very much in the later phases of the gathering of the exiles.
In the book of Genesis, God promises to Abraham the land of Canaan, which comprises the territory of ten nations: the Kenites, the Kenizites, the Kadmonites, the Hittites, the Perizites, the Refaim, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Girgashites, and the Jebusites. In the time of Moses, however, whenever God lists the peoples of Canaan whose land He will give to the Jewish people, only the last seven of these ten are mentioned. The seven nations are a earthly manifestation of the seven evil midot, they are the vessels which broke. God only gave the latter seven nations to the Jews in the time of Moses, and we will inherit the land of the other three nations in the future, when Mashiach comes.
These three nations are Seir which is the land of Edom cooresponds to keter,Moab is Chachmah and Ammon is Bina.
The Midrash explains that 80 percent of the Jewish people were killed during the plague of darkness in Egypt, they were not redeemed. Many Jews didn’t want to leave Egypt, so God decreed that they would die there in the darkness. It a pretty dark time now for most of the Jew’s of the world who cling to their ‘secular’ identity.
How important is it to return to “Arz Yisrael” (the land of Israel) “Resh Lakish was bathing in the Jordan, and Rabba b. bar Chanah , who had come from Babylonia to study Torah, approached and extended his hand. Resh Lakish said to him, “I swear I hate you!” Rashi explains: “By not moving to Eretz Yisrael in Ezra’s day, the Jews of Babylonia prevented the Divine Presence from returning and resting on the Second Temple.”
Rabbi Yehuda HaLevi in the Kuzari teaches that the great goal God had planned for the Second Temple was not fulfilled. For if most of the Jewish people had responded to the call and returned to Eretz Yisrael (The land of Israel) God would not have destroyed the Temple. Rather, the Divine Presence would have rested there forever, and God would have brought the Messiah. However the majority and the important ones among them stayed in Babylon, not willing to be separated from their dwelling places and businesses. does this sound familiar ?
In the Tikuney Zohar Chadash Rebbe Shimon says that there will be another plague of darkness before the final redemption. The hour is late, do not be “caught” in the dark.
Malchut Bait David (The kingship of the house of David) will not be established in L.A. or New York. Chanukah on the calander comes before Purim. First we must work the spiritual redempion in the land and there will follow the outer redempion of Purim of the rest of the world. There is a lot to do come home to the land while you still can. It did not work out to well for the European Jewish community.

Washington D.C. is the capital of the United States, the new center of Edom, the Christian World. It is the new seat of the Roman Empire, the new Rome.

The southern boundary of this property was shaped by a river named for the river that runs through Rome, Italy, the Tiber.
The community was part of the ten mile square tract of land which would become the American capital Washington, D.C., and its owner, Daniel Carroll, transferred the community to the federal government after the amendment to the United States Constitution sanctioning the building of the new United States capital city was ratified.
Daniel Carroll was the chairman of a three-man commission appointed by President George Washington to find a suitable location for the capital city. A signer of the Declaration of Independence, Daniel Carroll was a Roman Catholic educated by Jesuits in Maryland and France. His brother John Carroll became the first Catholic bishop in America, presiding over the See of Baltimore, which included Washington, D.C. In part, the more frequent usage of the name Columbia reflected a rising American neoclassicism, exemplified in the tendency to use Roman terms and symbols. The selection of the eagle as the national bird, the use of the term Senate to describe the upper house of Congress, and the naming of Capitol Hill and the Capitol building were all conscious evocations of Roman precedents.
The Zohar teaches that Rome will lead the nations of the world in a final and losing assault against Israel and the Moshiach (Messiah), at the time of the Final Redemption in the “end of days”. At this time the “new Rome” will not be a good place for Jews to be living in.
It is interesting to note that the Washington Monument’s height is 555 ft and has a capstone of 3300 lbs.
In the Bible Jacob gave a tribute to Esau of 550 animals, including kolel of 5 is included for the 5 animal species (Goats, Sheep, Camels, Cows, and Donkeys) this is 555.
It was the Masons erected the Washington Monument as a pillar in the Capital of Edom for the country to rally around that is 555 feet high. This is not just a coincidence.
US Capital Building (the home of Congress) has 541 rooms, since 541 is the numerical value of the Israel (in Hebrew).
The Washington Monument resembles a giant Hebrew letter “VAV” of numerical value 6. And the reason this is significant is that 555 x 6 = 3330. There are exactly 3330 years from the giving of the Torah at Mt Sinai and 5778 HC (2018 CE), the year given by Rav Ahhlag and other sages for the Geula (final redemption)
Furthermore, in 2018 CE we will be in the 115th US Congress, and will also be the 115th Jubilee year, counting as the sages do from Adam to 5778 HC.

In the parsha it is clearly drawn that from Asev comes the people of Edom as it is written ” These are the generations of Asev who is Edom”. Edom means red, the sages say this describes their blood thirsty nature. Rome descended from Edom. If we spell Rome in Hebrew ”רם“ this has the numerical value of 240 which is the same numerical value as Amalak. Amalak is the countervailing, the opposite force in the world to Yisrael. They are now a transmigratory group of souls whose nature is to hate Jews, the nation of Yisrael and GOD. This would all make much sense since the Zohar tells us that Asev is of the side of defilement. Yisrael on the other hand the Zohar tells us means ”princehood and strength”
The angel Yaakov wrestled gave him this name Yisrael. The Zohar tells us the angel gave Yaakov this name so that he could prevail over anyone. From this we can learn a lesson as Yaakov faced a conflict here, namely having to fight a Angel. From this conflict came good tidings, as Yaakov recieved a blessing of power from the Angel. So when the Holy One puts obstacles in our path we should be joyous since we know that by overcoming these difficulties we will be better off than before. It is by overcoming temptations and turning instead to bring light into the world Yisrael is strengthened. From the parsha we can see ways to overcome these obstacles as when Yaakov was going to meet Asev he split his party into groups so to be able to survive a attack. In Safer Giloya Raza its written that the sages added to the Amida a prayer that our enemies be uprooted and shattered. He says they did this so advise us that we must destroy our enemies, and that to pray against them is not enough. It will not even help, unless we war with them. He also sent Asev gifts and most important he got up at night. At the time which the Zohar speaks concerning saying “when the north wind blows” the breath of Gan Aden (Garden of Eden), Chuchmah the first flash of creative creative inspiration that guides universal consciousness. It was to this that Yaakov rose so that there he could there evoke a will of GOD that would be most favorable for Yisrael. Such that would enable him to overcome Asev and stop him from wanting to do do harm to Yisrael. The time most appropriate for revelation of Chuchmah of secrets is at midnight. Rabbi Ashlag teaches from the Zohar that at night the eyes whose light is chuchmah (Divine creative inspiration) are closed, this is because of judgments so they are not able to illuminate because of diminishment of divine flow, so people sleep. Sleep is drawn from the ruling of the burning of Gehenem (Hell), which makes a closing to the Nashama (soul of Divine intellect). These do not dress in the supernal light as it is not enjoined to them. Learning Torah at night and carefully saying the “Sma” (meditation on Unity of God) will help you rise to be occupied in Torah after midnight. At midnight is given light of the left from Ima divine understanding, specifically Chuchmah from the left of ima. It’s the vowel “shuruk”. This is the power of sight that can open the eyes, but for this light to illuminate it requires chassadim. Which is the force of GOD’s giving. The power which has us do Mitzvot.1
In the parsha we see clearly Asev becomes the nation of Edom and Yaakov becomes Yisrael. Asev goes to ”Seir” which the Zohar says refers to a strange God. While Yaakov goes to a place called Succot and then to Kedesh which refers to ”kodesh” (Holiness).

It’s said by Rashi that Yaakov went back across the river to pick up the small bottles that were filled with oil for Chanukah that he had left there. It was when doing this that Yaakov came across the supernal angel of Edom (the west ), and he wrestled with him and won at Bait Ael which illudes to the place of the Holy temple. This shows us by the power of Chanukah we can concur the exile of Edom. As yaakov did fulfilling the verse ” I will punish the Hosts on high “. The threat of Yaakov getting the Chanukah oil was enough to arouse the angel of Asev, Edom to attack him.
Another matter we need to look at is what it means to us that on Chanukah that Asev can only be defeated when Yosef is with Yehuda. Yehuda alone cannot defeat Asev. This brings us to explain Masiach ben Yosef and David. Yuhudah is the fulfillment of the letter of the law. Yosef is service of a personal nature, above that which is required. The god of the Greeks was a impersonal unreachable god. To them god was the unapproachable authority. By the service of Yosef one fulfills the words of the Torah “I shall dwell in your midst ” . This is how Yavan the exile of Edom is defeated. One must fulfill the mitzvot regularly this is Yehuda, but not only this but in a beautiful way by this we will overcome the present exile. We see the blending of these two aspects in the mitzvah of the Chanukah manora. As almost every one in Isreal fulfills the letter of the law of this mitzvah, being the aspect of Yehuda, yet in many homes even of those who claim to not be religious we find more than one manora lit this being the “hadar” above the letter of the law being the aspect of Yosef.
It is known that “chuchmah” (Divine wisdom-creative power) is above space and time. Thus we see its revelation in this physical world “mamash”. The oil from the Manora allows us to Contemplate the surrounding lights and עליון רצון (supernal will). We know rabbi Moshe Chym Lazatto says this light comes around every year for those who are there to receive it, blessed are those who reach this time. Now the “Chuchmah” (Divine Wisdom-creativity) dresses itself in our dedication as Chanukah means dedication. Chanukah being the celebration of our dedication to Holiness, which is during the time of “chanuc” (dedication) of the alter as described in the Torah in the book of “Bamidbar” (Numbers), the dedication of the temple by King Salomon, the dedication of the temple by Yehuda Macabbe, and today our personal dedication to the Holy Blessed One NOW.
Our personal dedication to the Torah is the absolute fixing of the present exile of
Edom (the west ), which is rooted in Yavan (greek culture ), which is the
source of the hellinism that Yehuda Macabee rebelled against. Yavon is the same
spelling as Zion, except for missing the letter צ ‘sawde”. A sawdeek is represented by
Yosef ha Sadeek. He represents the sefira yesod. As taught by rabbi Shimon bar
Yochi yesod is 9th of the sefirot, it is as the 8 Chanukah lights and the “shamash”. They are paralleled by
the 7 lights of the manorah in the temple, and the bulb where the branches meet. Thus it is said by kindling the
Chanukah manorah the manorah in the Holy Temple is lit. On Chanukah there shines the lights of ס”ג
(light of Divine underatanding) to Z’a (source of the Ruach, emotional soul). ס”ג =חנה and יהו”ה (is Z’a)=וכ
together is חנוכה . Every aspect can be lit up by נר (lamps) of chanucah. Thus נר
is gematria of the Yichudim (unifications) of אהי”ה אלהי”ם אדנ”י each with יהו”ה = נר.
Rabbi Ashlag teaches that all 25 Parzufim (divine faces of revelation) come down to
Prophets, they being attached to the highest powers.

And ships shall come from the border of Kittim, and shall afflict Assyria, and shall afflict Eber, and he also shall perish forever.” (numbers 24:21-24)
This is the end days prophesy of Billam “I will advise you what this people shall do to your people in the latter days.”
The sages say the kittim are Edom, they shall destroy Assyria (Iran). . The third son of Yavan is called Kittim which means Romans in Hebrew according to Targum Onkelus – on Bemidbar 24:24
“In that day, said the Lord of hosts, shall the tent peg that is in the sure place be removed and be cut down, and fall; and the fastened burden that was upon it shall be cut off; for the Lord has spoken it. The burden of Tyre. Howl, you ships of Tarshish; for it is laid waste, so that there is no house, no entering in; from the land of Kittim it is revealed to them.” (isia 22:25-23:1)
The Kitim Edom shall also destroy Tyre (Lebanon)
“For the ships of Kittim shall come against him; therefore he shall be afraid and withdraw, and have indignation against the holy covenant; so shall he do; he shall even return, and have an understanding with those who forsake the holy covenant. (Danial 11:30) 40.And at the time of the end the king of the south shall push at him; and the king of the north shall come against him like a stormy wind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over. He shall enter also into the land of beauty, and many countries shall be overthrown; but these shall escape from his hand: Edom, and Moab, and the main part of the Ammonites. He shall stretch out his hand also upon the countries; and the land of Egypt shall not escape. But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt; and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall follow in his steps. But tidings from the east and from the north shall trouble him; therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and exterminate many. And he shall plant the tents of his palace between the seas and the holy mountain of beauty; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him. And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince who has charge of your people; and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never has been since there was a nation till that time; but at that time your people shall be saved, every one whose name shall be found written in the book.” (Danial11:30-12)
Here again we see the Kittim (Edom) fighting in the end of days, and Egypt destroyed. And in the end Yisrael saved.
Now we shall look to coded entries of the “kittin” in the Torah. They are highlighted by larger letters.
מי זאת עלה מן המדבר כתימרות עשן מקטרת מור ולבונה מכל אבקת רוכל
“Who is this who comes from the wilderness like columns of smoke, perfumed with myrrh and frankincense, with all powders of the merchant?” (s.s 3:6)
Sages say this verse refers to invoking the redemption by using kaballah
שלח תשלח את האם ואת הבנים תקח לך למען ייטב לך והארכת ימים
“If a bird’s nest chances to be before you in the way in any tree, or on the ground, whether they are young ones, or eggs, and the mother sitting upon the young, or upon the eggs, you shall not take the mother with the young; But you shall let the mother go, and take the young to you; that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days.”(Deut 22:6-7)
In the Zoharit says this mitzvah alludes to the Messiah and redeption, Mashiach’s place is called the birds nest.
והיה האיש אשר אבחר בו מטהו יפרח והשכתי מעלי את תלנות בני ישראל אשר הם מלינם עליכם
“And it shall come to pass, that the man’s rod, whom I shall choose, shall blossom; and I will make to cease from me the murmurings of the people of Israel, whereby they murmur against you.” (Numbers 18:20)
This verse is when Hashem distinguished Ahron as Cohen Gadol, in our context he will distinguish and reveal the Mashiach.

“And afterward when David heard it, he said, I and my kingdom are guiltless before the Lord forever from the blood of Abner the son of Ner;” (smual 2 3:28)

Teman(Saudi Arabia) will be surprised to see that even Esau (Edom) fall.
