You can not really read the Torah and not see how God feels about the Land of Israel. You have to do some major intellectual contortions to study it – or the Talmud, and believe that the Jewish people are the same on the Land as off, or that they are involved in mitzvot on the same level outside as inside The Land. As the sages teach us. Torah mitzvot are meant to be performed in Israel. Performing mitzvot outside of Israel is for practice (Sifri, Devarim 43).) A Jewish person runs to do a mitzvah – and yet so many Jews balk at performing one of the greatest, living in the Holy Land. I find this perplexing to say the least. Moreover, I feel sorry for Jews who do not understand the incredible honor and fulfillment of meriting to watch this nation be rebuilt. I wonder how “religious” Jews in the Diaspora can stand to miss such an occasion. Are they going to miss the coming of Mashiach too ? It’s like saying that you are a professional golfer. You have the best training, the best golf clubs, but you have never been to the golf course !
How do we know that the exile is almost finished, and the final redemption must be near. ?
Well first of all It is written concerning the Final Redemption:
It shall come to be on that day that the Lord will once again show His hand… And He will gather in the dispersed ones of Judah from the four corners of the earth. (Isaiah 11:11-12)
It is know that in the era of the Redemption itself will come the end of the exile, rebuilding the Temple, gathering all the Jewish people, bringing them back to Israel, and the Messiah will usher in an age of universal peace.
According to the Israel Central Bureau of Statistics there were 13,421,000 Jews worldwide in 2010.
On the eve of Israel’s 62nd Independence Day (2010) 5,726,000 Jews live in Israel.
ONE SHOULD NOTICE THAT THIS IS A BIG STEP TOWARD THE COMPLETION OF THE REDEPTION.
ALMOST HALF OF THE JEW’S IN THE WORLD HAVE ALREADY BEEN “GATHERED” AS HAS BEEN PROPHESIEZED AND LIVE IN THE LAND OF ISRAEL
RIGHT NOW !
THIS IS NOT A SMALL THING.
G-d has promised that ‘I will return the judges as in
days of old.’ The Sanhedrin will return before the
revelation of Mashiach, and in fact this will be one of the signs [of
his imminent arrival] .
(Rambam Perush HaMishnah, Sanhedrin 1:3)
THERE HAS ALREADY BE REESTABLISHED THE SANHEDRIN IN JERUSALEM.
Prophecy will return before the coming of
Mashiach (Hilchos Melachim 12:2)
The Rambam says in Hilchot Shmita and Yovel that when the Jews return to the land of Israel they will have to start keeping Tithes and Shmita (Sabatical year) and start counting the Yovel (Jubilee year). Then these commandments will be considered Deoraita (a obligation from the Torah).
HE ALSO WRITES THAT AT THAT TIME WILL RETURN PROPHESY.
It is very clear that with close to half of the Jewish people living now in the land of Isreal we are very much in the later phases of the gathering of the exiles.
In the book of Genesis, God promises to Abraham the land of Canaan, which comprises the territory of ten nations: the Kenites, the Kenizites, the Kadmonites, the Hittites, the Perizites, the Refaim, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Girgashites, and the Jebusites. In the time of Moses, however, whenever God lists the peoples of Canaan whose land He will give to the Jewish people, only the last seven of these ten are mentioned. The seven nations are a earthly manifestation of the seven evil midot, they are the vessels which broke. God only gave the latter seven nations to the Jews in the time of Moses, and we will inherit the land of the other three nations in the future, when Mashiach comes.
These three nations are Seir which is the land of Edom cooresponds to keter,Moab is Chachmah and Ammon is Bina.
The Midrash explains that 80 percent of the Jewish people were killed during the plague of darkness in Egypt, they were not redeemed. Many Jews didn’t want to leave Egypt, so God decreed that they would die there in the darkness. It a pretty dark time now for most of the Jew’s of the world who cling to their ‘secular’ identity.
How important is it to return to “Arz Yisrael” (the land of Israel) “Resh Lakish was bathing in the Jordan, and Rabba b. bar Chanah , who had come from Babylonia to study Torah, approached and extended his hand. Resh Lakish said to him, “I swear I hate you!” Rashi explains: “By not moving to Eretz Yisrael in Ezra’s day, the Jews of Babylonia prevented the Divine Presence from returning and resting on the Second Temple.”
Rabbi Yehuda HaLevi in the Kuzari teaches that the great goal God had planned for the Second Temple was not fulfilled. For if most of the Jewish people had responded to the call and returned to Eretz Yisrael (The land of Israel) God would not have destroyed the Temple. Rather, the Divine Presence would have rested there forever, and God would have brought the Messiah. However the majority and the important ones among them stayed in Babylon, not willing to be separated from their dwelling places and businesses. does this sound familiar ?
In the Tikuney Zohar Chadash Rebbe Shimon says that there will be another plague of darkness before the final redemption. The hour is late, do not be “caught” in the dark.
Malchut Bait David (The kingship of the house of David) will not be established in L.A. or New York. Chanukah on the calander comes before Purim. First we must work the spiritual redempion in the land and there will follow the outer redempion of Purim of the rest of the world. There is a lot to do come home to the land while you still can. It did not work out to well for the European Jewish community.
Ishmael is the father of the Islam world; Esau is the father of Edom, the Christian world; and Jacob is the father of the Jewish world, all under Abraham.
“Edom” became the Roman empire. In Leviticus Rabbah (xiii.) Rome, under the name of “Edom,” is compared to a boar, and the symbolic name “Seir” was used by the poets of the Middle Ages not only for Rome (comp. Ecclus. 1. 26, Hebr.), but also for Christianity (Zunz, “Literaturgesch.” p. 620).

Washington D.C. is the capital of the United States, the new center of Edom, the Christian World. It is the new seat of the Roman Empire, the new Rome.
The original name for Washington was Rome (Rome on the Potomac). Rome, Maryland, was the original name of a community within Prince George’s County, Maryland, which would eventually become Washington, District of Columbia. Specifically, Rome was the original community name of Capitol Hill, upon which the United States Capitol Building sits. In 1663, the property that would become the Capitol’s site was inscribed in the Maryland property records as “Rome,” its owner a man named Francis Pope. The southern boundary of this property was shaped by a river named for the river that runs through Rome, Italy, the Tiber.
The community was part of the ten mile square tract of land which would become the American capital Washington, D.C., and its owner, Daniel Carroll, transferred the community to the federal government after the amendment to the United States Constitution sanctioning the building of the new United States capital city was ratified.
Daniel Carroll was the chairman of a three-man commission appointed by President George Washington to find a suitable location for the capital city. A signer of the Declaration of Independence, Daniel Carroll was a Roman Catholic educated by Jesuits in Maryland and France. His brother John Carroll became the first Catholic bishop in America, presiding over the See of Baltimore, which included Washington, D.C. In part, the more frequent usage of the name Columbia reflected a rising American neoclassicism, exemplified in the tendency to use Roman terms and symbols. The selection of the eagle as the national bird, the use of the term Senate to describe the upper house of Congress, and the naming of Capitol Hill and the Capitol building were all conscious evocations of Roman precedents.
The Zohar teaches that Rome will lead the nations of the world in a final and losing assault against Israel and the Moshiach (Messiah), at the time of the Final Redemption in the “end of days”. At this time the “new Rome” will not be a good place for Jews to be living in.
It is interesting to note that the Washington Monument’s height is 555 ft and has a capstone of 3300 lbs.
In the Bible Jacob gave a tribute to Esau of 550 animals, including kolel of 5 is included for the 5 animal species (Goats, Sheep, Camels, Cows, and Donkeys) this is 555.
It was the Masons erected the Washington Monument as a pillar in the Capital of Edom for the country to rally around that is 555 feet high. This is not just a coincidence.
US Capital Building (the home of Congress) has 541 rooms, since 541 is the numerical value of the Israel (in Hebrew).
The Washington Monument resembles a giant Hebrew letter “VAV” of numerical value 6. And the reason this is significant is that 555 x 6 = 3330. There are exactly 3330 years from the giving of the Torah at Mt Sinai and 5778 HC (2018 CE), the year given by Rav Ahhlag and other sages for the Geula (final redemption)
Furthermore, in 2018 CE we will be in the 115th US Congress, and will also be the 115th Jubilee year, counting as the sages do from Adam to 5778 HC.

The Jewish people waited almost 2000 years to return to the Land of Israel, their ancestral homeland and finally done so with the permission of the nations of the world through The United Nations. Just 100 years ago this was only a dream most Jews had a hard time believing would happen anytime soon or at all considering all the centuries of hatred and anti-sematism the nations have shown the Jewish people. Yet even after the materialization of this Dream the majority of diaspora Jews Refuse to come HOME to The Land of Israel. They choose to live in exile among the gentiles where at this time hatred and anti-sematism is growing, raising its ugly heard at a unprecedented rate since the holocaust ! Some of them just like back in Germany think life is to good to leave their exile communities, even “religious” Jews just are not willing to make the necessary financial sacrifices !. Other Jew’s have assimilated to the point that they Identify with their exile communities more than with the Jewish people and The community Living in The Land of Israel and some have even turned against their fellow Jews living in the Holy land by supporting B.D.S. and J street. What does it take to the take the Jews out of exile and exile out of the Jews. Time will tell ?
The present generation of haters of Israel and the Jewish people all name themselves after the Biblical “Plishtim” who had been probably the worst of our neighbors, oppressing us many times throughout history. They were the closest neighbor, living right in the Land of Israel. The “Plishtim” territory included five cities Ashdod, Gaza, Ashkelon, Gath and Ekron which are part of the Holy Land according to Rashi (Berashit 26:2) as Yitzchak was not allowed to leave the Holy Land but during the hunger years he descended to “Eretz Plishtim”. Nothing changed since then, the people residing in that area (the Palestinians) still cause most problems to the Jewish people, the enemy from the within. Even the names of cities in this area did not change: Ashkelon, Ashdod, and Gaza. The Biblical “Plishtim” are long gone and at this rate the fake “Plishtim”(the Palestinians) will also slip away into nothingness from the pages of history. In the time of Shimshon the “Nazir” in the Bible he waged guerilla warfare against the Plishtim. In these days to since the Palestinians fight Israel by attacking innocent civilians with terror attacks and protecting themselves by using their own civilians as human shields, even blowing up their children as suicide bombers. Israel must learn from Shimshon and pay back the Palestinians in kind fighting such a asymmetrical guerilla war against the Palestinians who show no mercy so none should be shown to them.
According to Arab sources, and authoritative Islamic personalities there are no “Palestinian people” and never has been.
Palestinians are the newest of all the peoples on the face of the Earth, and began to exist in a single day by a kind of supernatural phenomenon that is unique in the whole history of mankind, as it is witnessed by Walid Shoebat, a former PLO terrorist that acknowledged the lie he was fighting for and the truth he was fighting against:
“Why is it that on June 4th 1967 I was a Jordanian and overnight I became a Palestinian?”
“We did not particularly mind Jordanian rule. The teaching of the destruction of Israel was a definite part of the curriculum, but we considered ourselves Jordanian until the Jews returned to Jerusalem. Then all of the sudden we were Palestinians – they removed the star from the Jordanian flag and all at once we had a Palestinian flag”.
“When I finally realized the lies and myths I was taught, it is my duty as a righteous person to speak out”.
This declaration by a true “Palestinian” should have some significance for a sincerely neutral observer. Indeed, there is no such a thing like a Palestinian people, or a Palestinian culture, or a Palestinian language, or a Palestinian history. There has never been any Palestinian state, neither any Palestinian archaeological find nor coinage. The present-day “Palestinians” are an Arab people, with Arab culture, Arabic language and Arab history. They have their own Arab states from where they came into the Land of Israel about one century ago to contrast the Jewish immigration. That is the historical truth. They were Jordanians (another recent British invention, as there has never been any people known as “Jordanians”), and after the Six-Day War in which Israel utterly defeated the coalition of nine Arab states and took legitimate possession of Judea and Samaria, the Arab dwellers in those regions underwent a kind of anthropological miracle and discovered that they were Palestinians – something they did not know the day before.
The Roman emperor Hadrian was utterly upset with the Jewish Nation and wanted to erase the name of Israel and Judah from the face of the Earth, so that there would be no memory of the country that belonged to that rebel people. He decided to replace the denomination of that Roman province and resorted to ancient history in order to find a name that might appear appropriate, and found that an extinct people that was unknown in Roman times, called “Philistines”, was once dwelling in that area and were enemies of the Israelites. Therefore, according to Latin spelling, he invented the new name: “Palæstina”, a name that would be also hateful for the Jews as it reminded them their old foes. He did so with the explicit purpose of effacing any trace of Jewish history. Ancient Romans, as well as modern Palestinians, have fulfilled the Hebrew Scriptures Prophecy that declares: “They lay crafty plans against Your People… they say: ‘come, let us wipe them out as a nation; let the name of Israel be remembered no more’.” – Tehilim 83:3-4 (Psalm 83:3-4). They failed, as Israel is still alive. Any honest person would recognize that there is no mention of the name Palestina in history before the Romans renamed the province of Judea, that such name does not occur in any ancient document, is not written in the Bible, neither in the Hebrew Scriptures nor in the Christian Testament, not even in Assyrian, Persian, Macedonian, Ptolemaic, Seleucian or other Greek sources, and that not any “Palestinian” people has ever been mentioned, not even by the Romans that invented the term.
There is no reference to any Palestinian people in the qur’an (koran), although muslims claim that their prophet was once in Jerusalem (an event that is not mentioned in the koran either). It appears evident that he did not meet any Palestinian in his whole life, nor his successors did either. Caliph Salahuddin al-Ayyub (Saladin), knew the Jews and kindly invited them to settle in Jerusalem, that he recognized as their Homeland, but he did not know any Palestinian… To claim that Palestinians are the original people of Eretz Yisrael is not only against secular history but also against Islamic history!
The name “Falastin” that Arabs today use for “Palestine” is not an Arabic name, but adopted and adapted from the Latin Palæstina . How can an Arab people have a western name instead of one in their own language?
An Arab writer and journalist declared:
“There has never been a land known as Palestine governed by Palestinians. Palestinians are Arabs, indistinguishable from Jordanians (another recent invention), Syrians, Iraqis, etc. Keep in mind that the Arabs control 99.9 percent of the Middle East lands. Israel represents one-tenth of one percent of the landmass. But that’s too much for the Arabs. They want it all. And that is ultimately what the fighting in Israel is about today… No matter how many land concessions the Israelis make, it will never be enough”.
– Joseph Farah, “Myths of the Middle East” –
Arabs have said:
“There is no such country as Palestine. ‘Palestine’ is a term the Zionists invented. There is no Palestine in the Bible. Our country was for centuries part of Syria. ‘Palestine’ is alien to us. It is the Zionists who introduced it”.
– Auni Bey Abdul-Hadi, Syrian Arab leader to British Peel Commission, 1937 –
“There is no such thing as Palestine in history, absolutely not”.
– Professor Philip Hitti, Arab historian, 1946 –
“It is common knowledge that Palestine is nothing but Southern Syria”.
– Representant of Saudi Arabia at the United Nations, 1956 –
When the State of Israel was reborn in 1948 c.e., the “Palestinians” did not exist yet, the Arabs had still not discovered that “ancient” people. They were too busy with the purpose of annihilating the new Sovereign State and did not intend to create any Palestinian entity, but only to distribute the land among the already existing Arab states. They were defeated. They attempted again to destroy Israel in 1967, and were humiliated in only six days, in which they lost the lands that they had usurped in 1948. In those 19 years of Arab occupation of Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the Gaza Strip, neither Jordan nor Egypt suggested to create a “Palestinian” state, since the still non-existing Palestinians would have never claimed their alleged right to have their own state… Paradoxically, during the British Mandate, it was not any Arab group but the Jews that were known as “Palestinians”!
Arabs declared after the Six-Day War:
“There are no differences between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. We are all part of one nation. It is only for political reasons that we carefully underline our Palestinian identity… yes, the existence of a separate Palestinian identity serves only tactical purposes. The founding of a Palestinian state is a new tool in the continuing battle against Israel”.
– Zuhair Muhsin, military commander of the PLO and member of the PLO Executive Council –
“You do not represent Palestine as much as we do. Never forget this one point: There is no such thing as a Palestinian people, there is no Palestinian entity, there is only Syria. You are an integral part of the Syrian people, Palestine is an integral part of Syria. Therefore it is we, the Syrian authorities, who are the true representatives of the Palestinian people”.
– Syrian dictator Hafez Assad to the PLO leader Yassir Arafat –
“As I lived in Palestine, everyone I knew could trace their heritage back to the original country their great grandparents came from. Everyone knew their origin was not from the Canaanites, but ironically, this is the kind of stuff our education in the Middle East included. The fact is that today’s Palestinians are immigrants from the surrounding nations! I grew up well knowing the history and origins of today’s Palestinians as being from Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Christians from Greece, muslim Sherkas from Russia, muslims from Bosnia, and the Jordanians next door. My grandfather, who was a dignitary in Bethlehem, almost lost his life by Abdul Qader Al-Husseni (the leader of the Palestinian revolution) after being accused of selling land to Jews. He used to tell us that his village Beit Sahur (The Shepherds Fields) in Bethlehem County was empty before his father settled in the area with six other families. The town has now grown to 30,000 inhabitants”.
– Walid Shoebat, an “ex-Palestinian” Arab –
How long do “Palestinians” live in “Palestine”?
According to the United Nations weird standards, any person that spent TWO YEARS (!!!) in “Palestine” before 1948, with or without proof, is a “Palestinian”, as well as all the descendants of that person.
It is thoroughly documented that the first inhabitants of Eretz Yisrael after some centuries were the Jewish pioneers, and not the Arabs so-called Palestinians. Some eyewitnesses have written their memories about the Land before the Jewish immigration:
“There is not a solitary village throughout its whole extent (valley of Jezreel, Galilea); not for thirty miles in either direction… One may ride ten miles hereabouts and not see ten human beings. For the sort of solitude to make one dreary, come to Galilee… Nazareth is forlorn… Jericho lies a mouldering ruin… Bethlehem and Bethany, in their poverty and humiliation… untenanted by any living creature… A desolate country whose soil is rich enough, but is given over wholly to weeds… a silent, mournful expanse… a desolation… We never saw a human being on the whole route… Hardly a tree or shrub anywhere. Even the olive tree and the cactus, those fast friends of a worthless soil had almost deserted the country… Palestine sits in sackcloth and ashes… desolate and unlovely…”.
– Mark Twain, “The Innocents Abroad”, 1867 –
Where had the Palestinians been hidden that Mark Twain did not see them? Where was that “ancient” people in the mid XIX century c.e.? Of course, modern biased Arab politicians try to discredit Mark Twain and insult and blame him of racism. Yet, it seems that there were other people that did not achieve in recognizing a single Palestinian in those times and earlier:
“In 1590 a ‘simple English visitor’ to Jerusalem wrote: ‘Nothing there is to bescene but a little of the old walls, which is yet remayning and all the rest is grasse, mosse and weedes much like to a piece of rank or moist grounde’.”.
– Gunner Edward Webbe, Palestine Exploration Fund,
Quarterly Statement, p. 86; de Haas, History, p. 338 –
“The land in Palestine is lacking in people to till its fertile soil”.
– British archaeologist Thomas Shaw, mid-1700s –
“Palestine is a ruined and desolate land”.
– Count Constantine François Volney, XVIII century French author and historian –
“The area was underpopulated and remained economically stagnant until the arrival of the first Zionist pioneers in the 1880’s, who came to rebuild the Jewish land. The country had remained “The Holy Land” in the religious and historic consciousness of mankind, which associated it with the Bible and the history of the Jewish people. Jewish development of the country also attracted large numbers of other immigrants – both Jewish and Arab. The road leading from Gaza to the north was only a summer track suitable for transport by camels and carts… Houses were all of mud. No windows were anywhere to be seen… The plows used were of wood… The yields were very poor… The sanitary conditions in the village [Yabna] were horrible… Schools did not exist… The rate of infant mortality was very high… The western part, toward the sea, was almost a desert… The villages in this area were few and thinly populated. Many ruins of villages were scattered over the area, as owing to the prevalence of malaria, many villages were deserted by their inhabitants”.
– The report of the British Royal Commission, 1913 –
The Bottom line is that the So called “West Bank” (The Biblical lands of Judea and Samaria) were lands under the sovereignty of Jordan till they attacked Israel and lost the war and the land.
Gaza also was ruled by Egypt till that they attack Israel and lost the war and the land.
Egypt now does not want Gaza back and neither does Jordan want back The Biblical lands of Judea and Samaria.
There is no “Palestinian people” and never has been.
The United Nations Partition Plan for Palestine was a resolution adopted on 29 November 1947 by the General Assembly of the United Nations. Its title was United Nations General Assembly Resolution 181 (II) Future Government of Palestine.
The resolution recommended the termination of the British Mandate for Palestine and the partition of the territory into two states, one Jewish and one Arab, with the Jerusalem-Bethlehem area being under special international protection, administered by the United Nations
The proposed plan was accepted by the leaders of the Jewish community in Palestine, through the Jewish Agency. However, the plan was rejected by leaders of the Arab community (the Palestine Arab Higher Committee etc.), who were supported in their rejection by the states of the Arab League. In a communication to the United Nations Palestine Commission dated 19 January 1948, the Arab Higher Committee for Palestine stated that it was “determined [to] persist in rejection [to the] partition and in refusal [to] recognize UNO resolution [with] this respect and anything deriving therefrom”.
On the day before the United Kingdom was to complete its withdrawal, (i.e. 14 May 1948) the Jewish community in Palestine published a Declaration of Independence as the State of Israel, and five Arab armies crossed into the former Mandate as the start of the 1948 Arab–Israeli War.
Arab leaders threatened the Jewish population of Palestine, speaking of “driving the Jews into the sea” and ridding Palestine “of the Zionist Plague”. On the eve of the Arab armies invasion, Azzam Pasha, the General Secretary of the Arab League, “describing the fate of the Jews” is said to have declared: “This will be a war of extermination and a momentous massacre which will be spoken of like the Mongolian massacres and the Crusades”

Arabs control 99.9 percent of the Middle East lands The Arabs lost their wars with Israel and need to get over it, and get on with their lives.
Israel is mentioned in the Bible 2498 times
The Oslo accords were made so to settle a territorial dispute. But in truth the foundation of the Dispute is not territorial anymore the the present conflict with the IS the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria and the west. The foundation of the Dispute is ideological not territorial. This is clear :
The words of the Hadith (Islamic Philosophy):
“The Hour [Resurrection] will not take place until the Muslims fight the Jews,
and kill them. And the Jews will hide behind the rock and tree, and the rock and
tree will say: oh Muslim, oh servant of Allah, this is a Jew behind me, come and
Israel and the west, modernity are facing a cultural challenge, they are being force to go against their founding Ethos and culture. They are being forced into waging a “Religious war”. At the Oslo accords the Jews for the first time in History told the Arabs they had a right to part of the land of Israel. They did this thinking that all that had to be settled was a territorial disbute to establish peace. But this is not so !
Some Arabs would like to say Israel is a Apartheid state but there is no truth to this
South African apartheid was an array of segregative and discriminatory laws based on race. THERE IS NONE OF THIS IN ISREAL. If annexation of territory without affording full voting rights means apartheid, then the USA has been –and continues to be- an apartheid state for over 100 years:
The US captured the island of Puerto Rico (3.6 million residents) from Spain 116 years ago. Its residents cannot vote in US federal elections.
The US captured the island of Guam (150,000 residents) from Spain 116 years ago. No voting rights, as above.
The US bought the Virgin Islands (106,000 residents) from Denmark 97 years ago. No voting rights as above.
The Northern Mariana Islands (77,000 residents) were captured from Japan 70 years ago and became a UN-American mandate. For the past 36 years, they have been under US sovereignty. No voting rights, as above.
The US captured American Samoa (55,000 residents) from Spain 116 years ago. Its status is different; it is a protectorate of the US. No voting rights, as above.
Nobody accuses the US of apartheid because the people in its territories do not have federal voting rights.

The land of Israel belongs to God, we are only tenets on it. The land has its right and rules by which we must live by. Most obvious are the laws of “Smitah” (Sabbath year ) and “Yovel” (Jubilee Years).
Rabbis Isaac teaches that the Torah begins the creation of the world so that if the nations of the world say to Israel:
“You are robbers, because you have seized by force the lands of the seven nations of Canaan “.
Israel could say to them “The entire world belongs to the Holy One, Blessed Be He, He created it and gave it to whomever it was right in his eyes, Of His own will He gave it to them and His own will He took it from them and gave it to us.”
(Yalkut, Exodus 12.2)
The nations of the world spend a lot of time discussing the borders of the land of Israel, One needs to Acknowledge that ultimately, none of us own the land of Israel. Agreements regarding the land don’t last forever. The borders of the land of Israel are defined by God, they do not belong to us. They belong to a higher authority. It is to The God of Israel the land belongs. He has granted it to His people, Israel, as an everlasting , “holding”, but not as their “personal” property. He has imposed on them conditions of tenure, the right to live on God’s land is not freely given. Foremost among these is denial of the right to alienate land through its permanent conveyance to a purchaser – a right that is usually considered an intrinsic element of ownership. Israel is not like other lands. As in the Bible, God has dictated unique laws that pertain to the lands ownership and use. Like the seven year cycle of “shemita” (Sabbath years), all land is to be released to its “ahaz” (original holder), the Bible does not say “owner”. Man cannot be an owner of the Land of Israel as it belongs to God. All who dwell in the land of Israel are settlers dwelling upon God’s land settling on and according to their everlasting covenant in the land of Isreal.
This relationship with the land is evident today. Anyone who has purchases real estate in Israel, knows what you really are purchasing is a 99 year land lease… whose renewal will not be unreasonably withheld. This is difficult for the Western mind. Whose legal systems consider land ownership is a fundamental right. Maybe not intentionally but this alludes to the fact that the Bottom line it the land belongs to God.
It’s a paradigm shift that is difficult for the Western mind: “Many Europeans and Americans do not understand this arrangement. People who came from legal systems where land ownership is a fundamental right,
The Biblical idea of a everlasting “Brit” (covenant) refers to a conditional covenant, agreement, contract. Usually a conditional contract depends on both parties keeping their side of the deal. Everlasting implies that the covenant will never be broken, even if one party does not keep their side of the deal.
The idea that the God into a conventional relationship with the Jewish People. Is a revolutionary idea. As the Jewish People settled in their land then experienced their first exile in Babylon then the concept of an eternal covenant emerged as the returned to the land through God’s almost hidden hand in the Purim story.
In Shar Mimori Rasb’y the Ar’i teaches that nashamot (intelectual soul) of “Imma” (mother) are drawn from “imma ” by way of truth and faith. Torah is called truth, and faith is the foundation and source of divine service. Rabbi Yaakov Abuchitzera teaches that a man needs “Emuna” engraved upon his heart so that his “dat” (knowledge) is in אמנה שלמה (perfect faith) in things of the Kaballah. In this they will see “mammash”. Rabbi Nachman of Breslov teaches that through faith one achieves intellect. Rabbi Moshe Cordevero teaches in his commentary to the Zohar called Aor Yakar that there is united Chuchmah (wisdom-creative inspiration) and Bina (undestanding) in Keter (will delight) by Dat (knowledge). Recieve Bina from Chuchmah through Dat. Dat is the Yesod of Rachamim (mercy). It is the source and Nashama (intellectual soul) of Teferet (harmony balance). Unification of Chuchmah and Bina illuminates dat in Bina. The flow of chuchmah is arroused throught Dat that is in Bina. This is חי עולמים (life of the worlds) which is the Yesod below illuminating upon the earth which is Machut (Kingship of God). Chuchmah is called arrousel from above, as it is above Bina. There is the מאורות, and fineness. Ketter is a aspect of flow in Bina that is not through Chuchmah. Keter can flow by way of the central pillar in Teferet, not through Bina or Chuchmah reaching chesed. Keter makes a כסא(Thrown-of Bina) for itself. It is the dwelling place of the Shechinah (Divine Presence). It is according to one’s Dat, which is “penimi” (internal) in the sefirot that there is a “segulah” (miraculous power) to unite with רצון (Divine will).
It’s tought in Shoshon Sodot that Aretz Yisrael (the land of Isreal) is not under the supernal princes (angels) above but יהו”ה
The Ar”i teachs that land of Israel is the physical manifestation of Nukvah of Z”a . She comprises ten sefirot. Her height is the same as that of Z”a. Gad, Reuven, and half the tribe of Menasheh remained outside the land of Israel. there are in fact only two and a half [exposed sefirot remaining in Beriah outside the border of the land of Israel, the malchut of Atzilut.
.It is nourished from Keter elyon (source of Divine will and delight) by the middle piller. Aretz Yisrael recieves flow of ברכה (blessing) from ארץ עליונה(the supernal land). The Aor Yakar teaches that Aretz Yisrael is אפר הקודש (Holy earth). Those dwelling there are Holy. Their Nashamot are Holy. Their Trumah (offerings) are Holy. The Torah is Kidusha (Holiness) having yichus (relationship) to Aretz Yisrael and are united together. אדנ”י 7 times (including collel of 1 for the name itself) equals כ ו ת ל“Kotel” (western wall). From the Zohar we learn כותל ערבי(western wall) is “Malchut”. His dwelling place is theתל(mount) that all turn to. The דof אחדis this תל (mount) all turn to. It is Malchut. The “kotel” (western wall) is close to the “even Stiyah” (foundation stone). There goes out the flow of light which is proper from the “kav” (beam) in the place of the “even Stiyah” there it decends till reaching the center. From there it stands and then spreads out to the sides. From there and there the light spreads out, As in a globe. Till making the circle all equal. From the center she spreads out in length and width. Spreading out in all levels in secret of East to west, and north to south. The secret of Emuna (faith) is found in the central point of Aretz Yisrael (the land of Isreal). Which is the “kadosh Kadoshim” (Holy of Holies). Even if the Temple does not exist today, still in its merit the world is fed. Sustenance is emited from there to every place. The “kadosh Kadoshim”, the place where Hashem chose to place the ארון (ark), in its midst is the middle pillar. The temple is the secret of Malchut called אדנ”י . Between the temple below and that above is only 18 mil. Sapphire stone corresponds to the “even Stiyah”. The “even Stiyah” is the stone with 7 eyes described by Zachariah (3:9). It reveals Chaga”t (kindness severity balance)and Nh”y (quanity quality and way of express of Chuchmah. The world is established by י”הof Binna from it is Chuchmah revealed in Malchut according to the secret of 3×4=12 being 12 stones, tribes and hours of the day and night. Concerning the “even Stiyah” we learn in the Zohar that stones called Malchut rule in the left without the right. They rest on the (depth) ת ה ו ם= מ ” ה (name of 45) x 10 (depths). ת ה ו ם ע ל י ו ןis Teferet of Arich (face of Divine will), which is the source of upper conduits. שתיה אבן (even Stiyah) שת(foundation stone) of י”ה. The שתיה אבןis (Wisdom) חכמה=גולם (energy before assigned form-unused potential). According to judgements of the left they are concealed. From them goes out water which is Chassadim (force of Hashem’s giving). Concerning this water King Salomon writes “many waters will not satisfy love (song of songs 8:7). One can never give enough for this love.
