The blessings of Heaven

This parsha is most appropriate before Rosh Hashanah. Our parsha begins discussing the offering of the First fruits of the soil as a thanksgiving offering. By this offering we affirm that YHV”H is our God, and that we walk in his ways. Then the parsha warns all Yisreal of the curse we inherit if we neglect to fulfill what the Torah asks of us or if we do what  it has forbidden to us. Also we are informed of the blessings we will have if if we do what is asked of us in the torah. It becomes clear its either one or the other. The Magid of Koznitz teaches that from doubt one can come to confusion of thoughts this is the main curse as because of this one may cannot achieve cleaving to GOD.1 One must be a master of spiritual war against confusion of thoughts.2 The ways of GOD are not as our own so many times one may not see the blessings or these curses but be sure enough in God’s way, according to his Timing they will come. The Torah is a covenant, contract and set forth here are part of its terms. So let us realize by reading the curses, that which has already come upon us, and also remember what GOD did to Pharoe and all his country. The Ramchal teaches the curses in our parsha are contained in 53 verses, corresponding to the 53 parsha of the Torah itself. Alluding to the fact one can lose everything eternal. 53 is the numerical value of ”gan” referring to Gan Aden (Garden of Eden). These curses allude to the judgment of the World to Come. The first curses (in parsha Bichucoty) are concerning  judgments in this world, they are in 32 verses.3 In the world to come one has alot more to lose.

Remember and understand what is written in our parsha ” You have seen all that the Yhv”h did before your eyes in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land. The great trials which your eyes have seen, the signs, and those great miracles. Yet the Lord has not given you a heart to perceive, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, until this day. (29:1-3) This alludes to the fact that we do not have knowledge of spiritual awareness readily accessible to our human form. For if we did we would never think of transgressing. It is for this reason that so many waste their lives not involving themselves at all with the work of their soul for which purpose they were created. If our perceptions were not as they are there would be no free will. One must always force themselves to think, meditate so as to attain awareness of GOD and their true Divine nature. That we are the people who GOD took through the desert 40 years and our shoes and clothing did not wear out. He provided us Manna from heaven and a miraculous well of water that followed us where ever we went. Then we will be faithful to GOD and the terms of this covenant. Concerning the blessings of the Torah the Zohar teaches us David woke at midnight and praised  the GOD until the name ascended upon it’s throne at the hour when the light of the day appeared. If you work to establish the Holy name all the blessings of heaven will abide with you.4 Aretz Yisrael receives flow of blessing from the supernal land, the Spiritual realms. If we do the spiritual things GOD asks of us we will be sure to see the Torah’s blessings.5 Then all the people of the earth will see that GOD’s name is called upon us with the arrival of the Messiah quickly in our days.

The Sons of God and other Entities

These are the Nefilim (fallen), the Giborim (mighty), the Anakim (giants), the Refaim

the Nefilim (the fallen ones), it is written: “That the sons of the Elohim saw that the daughters of men were fair” (Genesis 6:2).

There are and have been many kinds of entities

THEY COME from the fallen ones from above, FROM AZ”A AND AZAE”L, (Do not pronounce these names, it can bring problems) WHO WERE ANGELS ABOVE. AND THE HOLY ONE, BLESSED BE HE, DROPPED THEM OUT OF THE HEAVENS. When the Holy, blessed One, desired to create man, He said TO THE ANGELS, “Let us make man in our image…” (Genesis 1:26). He wanted to make him a leader over all the ANGELS above, so that he might govern all THE ANGELS and they would be under his rule.

These angels did not want to be under the power of man, further from God than the Humans

ANGELS wanted to denounce him. They asked THE HOLY BLESSED ONE,   “What is man, that you are mindful of him” (Psalms 8:5), for he is bound to sin before you?

The Holy One, blessed be He, replied, If you were down below ON EARTH like he, you would sin more than he does. Immediately, “The sons of the Elohim saw the daughters of man…” They were filled with passion for them, so the Holy One, blessed be He, dropped them down

These SONS OF ELOHIM are Aza and Azael, from whom descended the souls of the Nefilim.

When Aza and Azael fell from the place of their sanctity above, they saw the daughters of men, sinned with them and begot children. These were the Nefilim, about whom it is written: “There were Nefilim on the earth…” (Beresheet 6:4).

Our sages of blessed memory have said that when the Holy, blessed be One, created man, He created him in the Garden of Eden and commanded him to observe seven commandments. When he sinned AT THE TREE OF KNOWLEDGE, and was driven out of the Garden of Eden, those two celestial angels, Aza and Azael, said to the Holy One, blessed be He, ‘If it would have been us on earth, like man, we would have been virtuous.’ The Holy One, blessed be He, then asked them, ‘Would you be able to overcome the evil inclination?’ They said, ‘We can.’ The Holy One, blessed be He, immediately dropped them from heaven to earth and the scripture reads: “There were Nefilim in the earth” (Beresheet 6:7) and also: “mighty men.” As soon as they descended to earth, the evil inclination seized them, as it is written: “And they took them wives of all whom they chose” (Ibid. 2). They sinned and were deposed from their sanctity.

The souls of these entities are still in this world, There are strange things down here. Some people are able to see things others cannot. Remember these beings were not physical entities, before they dressed in flesh and came below.

Protect yourself from evil. Do good and reach your potential as its written above the Holy, blessed One, desired to create man, He said TO THE ANGELS, “Let us make man in our image…” (Beresheet 1:26). He wanted to make him a leader over all the ANGELS above, So that he might govern all THE ANGELS and they would be under his rule.

Death, Passing and the After life

During sleep and upon death of a righteous individual, the soul travels a certain course as it ascends to the Upper Worlds. Many visions of the future are seen when one is asleep dreaming but they need to be remembered on waking and are usually obscure and need an explanation

Sleep is 1/60 of death

If the soul is righteous, it is welcomed to the Upper Worlds by the Patriarchs, specifically Yaakov. When an individual strives to understand his purpose in life and seeks the truth of the Creator, his soul will seek to reunite with the Light of the Creator upon leaving this world.

Unfortunately, the vast majority of mankind journeys through this physical world without any inkling of his true purpose, or understanding as to the meaning of his existence. Consequently, a man who directs no effort towards spiritual enlightenment and blindly pursues the material world, will automatically seek the path of negativity when it departs its physical existence. The paths of the spiritual world mirror the pathways we forge in the physical world.

If one seeks the light and acts for it in this world they are taken by it, and to it when they transcend this world.

The return of the soul to its original source is vital. It is through this process that the Creator absorbs the souls, which allows them to be born anew each morning.

One is in a certain sense is a new creation when they wake up each morning. Their soul is renewed by the God when they sleep.

This otherworldly journey occurs each night, whether or not we are cognizant of it. An individual’s degree of awareness, however, and their personal level of spirituality [righteousness] determines the particular course the soul travels and the heights it can attain. The higher the soul ascends is directly proportionate to the measure of Light it receives.

 

This portion awakens a deeper awareness of the Light our soul can achieve if it is righteous, as well as the ability to ascend to greater heights and receive greater revelations of spiritual energy during sleep.

ZOHAR LIGHTS

Rabbi Aba opened the discussion with the text: “Who shall ascend into the mountain of Yhv”h ? Or who shall stand in His holy place?” (Tehilim 24:3). Come and behold: no man is aware of the reason for his existence in the world. As the days pass by they rise up and stand before the Holy One as they were all created. How do we know that they were created? Because it is written: “The days were created” (Psalms 13 9:16).


And when the days depart from this world, they all approach the Supernal King. When a person is in this world, and he is not aware of nor does he look for the reason he was created. For him, every day is considered as if it passes by in emptiness. And when the soul leaves this world, it does not recognize the path through which it is elevated, because the path that leads up, to the place where the luminous sublime souls shine, WHICH IS THE GARDEN OF EDEN, is not shown to all souls. After it departs from him, the soul follows the same way that person followed while in this world. Come and behold: if a person is drawn after the Holy Oneand longs for the light while in this world, then later, when he departs from this world, he also follows THE HOLY ONE. And he is shown a path to climb that rises upward TO THE PLACE WHERE SOULS SHINE. It follows and continues the same path that his desire followed and longed for each day while in this world.

So do much good while you still are in this world !

When the soul leaves the body it reaches the gullet (pharynx), where it remains until it confesses and retells all that the body did together with it in this world. Then the soul of the righteous is happy with what it has done, and is happy with its deposit. We have learned that Rabbi Yitzchak said: The soul of the righteous feels great desire for the moment when it shall leave this world, which is worthless, so that it may enjoy itself in the world to come!

A man who sins and recieves “corait” (cut off) causes the cord of his Nashama (higher soul) to be separated from him, leaving him only with a ruach (emotional soul) and a nefesh (animal soul).1 The gematria (numerical value) of corait (soul cut off)=rashiam(evil doers). The wicked turn mercy to judgment, righteous people do the opposite.2 The lowest place in Hell is called Avadon. Where souls never rise from but parish, heaven forbid, as when a soul recieves “corait” all aspects of the Nashama are cut off. The wicked  can take another person’s portion in Hell in addition to their own.3 Righteous people when they pass on from this world see the light of the wheel of intellect. His Nefesh is separated from his body according to the level of his cleaving in the light, he sees the light according to his merit. 4 Sages of Divine wisdom die in a way by which they are not slaughtered in a way disfiguring them with disease as others.5 If someone is buried on the day his soul departs in the Holy land the spirit of impurity has no dominion over over him at all. All who die do so by the angel of death, except those  who die in in Aretz Yisrael, who die by a angel of mercy. They ascend into Supernal Holiness 6 The day of one’s death is called day of Hashem (The Lord) .1 When the Nashama goes out of its body it sees the face of the Shechinah. This “segulah” (miraculous wonder) is specifically according to their actions  while living, thus they merit to “devacut” (cleave).2 When the soul is ready to leave its body. It then asks leave of each limb, and its seperation from the body is only with great violence. As it says in the Song of Songs “ Love as strong as death, jealousy as cruel as the grave”.3 The Main punishment and pain come at the hand of destroying angels who lead the soul to Hell. There appears to him that he is still in this world. They decieve him in all kinds of ways. This can last for hundreds of years. One must stubbornly refuse to listen to  what they say. Tell them all you want to do is see the sadeek ! 4After one is buried there come four angels. the grave should be equal to the height of the man. After one is buried his Nashama returns to his body as when he was alive. The four angels seize the man and strike him with rods of iron. As a man cleans a garment. This removes the dust and earth cleaving to him. He needs to be buried deep so that there is enough room to remove the filth from him. If one purifies themselves by their “yesurim” (sufferings), mitzvot,  “misim tovim” (acts of kindness) and by learning torah. By working with their body till it is time to leave this world, he wont need much of this purification of the grave, because most of the filth will already be removed from him. But a wicked man does not remove the filth in his life time, but he even strengthens it very much. Therefore it will take a great strong effort to remove this filth from him in the grave. But one buried on the sixth day of the week after the fifth hour doesn’t require this purification as the holiness of Shabot removes the filth from him.5

Peace in the middle of the night- connected

The power available to us through these words cleanses away negative energies from our being. The Light flowing through this portion helps to soften our resolve in situations where our stubbornness and ego prevents us from embracing spiritual change. The verses arouse a desire to seek a true connection to the Light of the Creator.

Biggest lights from the ZOHAR

There are people in our world who are hardhearted, stubborn, and set in their evil and selfish ways. The Zohar describes these people as refusing to change the negative aspects of their natures. They seek not to embrace the path of spiritual transformation and the Light of the Creator. All of us, to a certain degree, possess an aspect of these negative traits.

“Get you, out of your country…” (Beresheet 12:1).

A person must travel from their zone of comfort so to grow spiritual. You must go away from the aspects that separate you from the God, Spiritual Revelation. You must go to a new Spiritual space. So as God asked Abraham you to must :

“Get you, out of your country…”

Get to a new spiritual place

Rabbi Aba opened and said “Hearken to me, you hard-hearted, that are far from righteousness” (Yeshayah 46:12), how hard are the hearts of the wicked, who see the paths and the ways of Torah, yet do not observe them. And the hearts of the wicked are hard, as they do not repent and turn back to their Master. They are called hard-hearted. The verse, “that are far from righteousness,” Are they keep themselves far from Torah;

Rabbi Chizkiyah commented saying “Since they draw themselves away from the Holy One, blessed be He, therefore they remain far away from Him. And because of this, , they are called hard-hearted. They “are far from righteousness.” They do not wish to come closer to the Holy One, blessed be He,. And because of this, they “are far from righteousness.” Because they are far from righteousness, they are also far from peace-they can have no peace. As it is written: “There is no peace, says God, to the wicked” (Yeshayah 48:22). And why is that so? Because they “are far from righteousness,”

THEY HAVE NO PEACE!, True peace is a Holy thing !

Come and behold: Avraham indeed succeeded in his desire to get closer to the Holy One, blessed be He. As it is written: “You love righteousness and hate wickedness” (Tehilim 45:8). Because he loved righteousness and hated wickedness, he therefore came closer to righteousness. Therefore, it is written: “Avraham my beloved” (Yeshayah 41:8). Why IS HE “my beloved?” Because it has been said about him, “You love righteousness.” This is the love toward the Holy One, blessed be He, whom Avraham loved more than anyone else of his generation, who were “hard-hearted” and “far from righteousness,” as has already been explained.

The Zohar discusses our ignorance concerning the pillars that sustain our world, the unseen spiritual forces that give rise to all existence. The Zohar then focuses on another concept concerning the power of midnight. Great importance is attached to spiritual study and work during the hours from midnight to sunrise, when the Light of the Creator is intensified in our physical realm.

The increased spiritual power released into the cosmos during the intervening hours of midnight and morning, is made available to us by the words and wisdom that comprise this portion.

Rabbi Yosi opened the discussion by saying: “How lovely are Your dwelling places, Hashem Tzva’ot” (Tehilim 84:2)1. How important it is for people to observe the works of the Holy One, blessed be He! All people do not observe and are not aware of what keeps the world in existence. Nor are they aware of what keeps them in existence! When the Holy One, blessed be He, created the world, He made the heaven from fire and water. At first, these elements mingled together without freezing. Only later, by means of the Supernal Spirit, did they freeze and solidify. Then the heavens planted the world to be established upon supports. And the supports stand only by the help of the Spirit.

So bring out the energy of the Holy Spirit and build and sustain the worlds.

When that Spirit is gone, the supports are loosened and they quake, and the world is shaken. This is the meaning of, “Who shakes the earth out of its place, and its pillars tremble” (Iyov 9:6). And everything is established upon Torah, for when Yisrael are busy with Torah, Then the world is established, and the pillars and the supports are perfectly situated in their places.

Come and behold: When midnight is aroused, and the Holy One, blessed be He, enters the Garden of Eden to enjoy the company of the righteous, all the trees in the Garden of Eden sing and praise Him, as it is written: “Then shall the trees of the forest sing for joy at the presence of Yhv”h” (I Divrei Hayamim 16:33).

A Voice comes forth and forcefully calls, “You, mighty, holy men! To him among you who has allowed the spirit to enter, and his ears to hear, who has eyes open to see and who has a heart that is open to know!

BY THIS voice , THE RIGHTEOUS AWAKEN FROM THEIR SLEEP and Occupy in THE STUDY OF TORAH, AND DRAW Light.

When the spirit, which is the source of all spirits, arouses the sweetness of the soul, a voice comes from there, which is the source of all voices, and disperses all forces to the four corners of the world. One goes up to one side, THE SECRET OF THE SOUTH. one descends to the other side, Another enters in between the two, Two are crowned AND SHINE by BECOMING three. And three enter the one. One produced colors.

These colors are Divine energies

Six of them descended to one side and another six descended to the other side., all six

Lower Sefirot

become twelve. The twelve become twenty-two six are included within the ten. the ten exist as one.

The 12 are the Energy of the 12 constellations of the Zodiac, 12 simple letters and the 12 tribes of Israel. Their energies are included in 22, being all the 22 Hebrew letters, the letters of creation. All these forces exist in the 10 Seirot. They all together exist as One in the Oneness of God.

Woe to those who slumber as sleep covers their eyes sockets

THOSE do not AWAKE FROM THEIR SLEEP TO Learn

They do not know and are unable to observe how and in what condition they shall awaken on the Day of Judgment, when they shall be visited upon to settle the account-when the body is defiled and the soul floats on the afternoon air, going up and down, but the gates do not open for it. They are thrown around like the pebbles in the hollow of a sling.

These are what people sometime see as Ghosts, they are caught between worlds as a “stone in a sling” . It is a privilege to be able to enter hell and receive purification. These souls don’t even merit this. This in between state is much worse than hell.

Woe to them. Who shall ask about them when they shall not arise to this place of pleasure? In the place where the righteous have pleasure, they shall be missing. They shall be passed on to the angel Dumah, go down and not rise. They are described by the words, “As the cloud is consumed and vanishes away, so he who goes down to Sh’ol shall come up no more.” (Iyov 7:9)

Sh’ol is of the lowest places in hell, a soul never rises from here.

At MIDNIGHT a flame is awakened from the North strikes the four corners of the world, It descends and touches the rooster between its wings, As the flame awakens it, it crows. THIS IS THE SECRET OF THE Voice that COMES FORTH AND FORCEFULLY ANNOUNCES…” But the only ones who awaken to the calling of the Rooster are the truly righteous, who delve to the study of Torah. Then the Holy One, blessed be He, together with all the righteous in the Garden of Eden, listen to their voice.

So be up in the middle of the Night and do this energy work, let your voice he heard and known above

As it is written: “You who dwell in the gardens, the companions hearken to your voice: cause me to hear it” (Shir Hashirim 8:13).
