The Library of Alexandria was one of the largest and most prestigious libraries of the ancient world. It was said to have 900,000 volumes of writings. in 48 BC, during Caesar’s Civil War, Julius Caesar was besieged at Alexandria. His soldiers set fire to his own ships while trying to clear the wharves to block the fleet belonging to Cleopatra’s brother Ptolemy XIV. This fire spread to the parts of the city nearest to the docks, causing considerable devastation. The first-century AD Roman playwright and Stoic philosopher Seneca the Younger quotes Livy’s Ab Urbe Condita Libri, which was written between 63 and 14 BC, as saying that the fire started by Caesar destroyed 40,000 scrolls from the Library of Alexandria. The Greek Middle Platonist Plutarch (c. 46–120 AD) writes in his Life of Caesar that, “[W]hen the enemy endeavored to cut off his communication by sea, he was forced to divert that danger by setting fire to his own ships, which, after burning the docks, thence spread on and destroyed the great library.

Jews settled in Alexandria at the beginning of the third century B.C.E. (according to Josephus, already in the time of Alexander the Great). At first, they dwelt in the eastern sector of the city, near the sea; but during the Roman era, two of its five quarters (particularly the fourth (= “Delta”) quarter) were inhabited by Jews, and synagogues existed in every part of the city. From the legal aspect, the Jews formed an autonomous community at whose head stood at first its respected leaders, afterward – the ethnarchs, and from the days of Augustus, a council of 71 elders. According to Strabo, the ethnarch was responsible for the general conduct of Jewish affairs in the city, particularly in legal matters and the drawing up of documents. Among the communal institutions worthy of mention were the bet din and the “archion” (i.e., the office for drawing up documents). The central synagogue, famous for its size and splendor, may have been the “double colonnade” (diopelostion) of Alexandria mentioned in the Talmud (Suk. 51b; Tosef. 4:6),

In 66 C.E., influenced by the outbreak of the war in Ereẓ Israel, the Jews of Alexandria rebelled against Rome. The revolt was crushed by Tiberius Julius Alexander and 50,000 Jews were killed (Jos., Wars, 2:497). During the widespread rebellion of Jews in the Roman Empire in 115–117 C.E. the Jews of Alexandria again suffered, the great synagogue going up in flames. As a consequence of these revolts, the economic situation of the community was undermined, and its population diminished.

A marble slab with the following inscription in Greek: “In honor of King Ptolemy and Queen Berenice, his sister and wife, and their children, the Jews dedicate this synagogue” The stone was found in the ancient Schedia, 20 kilometers from Alexandria; the king mentioned on it is Ptolemy, according to Th. Reinach (in “R. E. J.” xlv. 164). Similar dedicatory inscriptions have been discovered in Lower Egypt, one of them declaring that the king had bestowed the rights of asylum (ἄσυλον) on the synagogue (ib. xlv. 163). In III Macc. vii. 20 there is an account of the founding of a synagogue at Ptolemais (on the right bank of the Baḥr Yusuf) during the reign of King Ptolemy IV. Philo expressly states (“De Legatione ad Caium,” § 20) that the large population of Alexandria had many synagogues in various quarters of the city, and he says also (ib.) that when the Alexandrian synagogues were destroyed the same fate was shared by the shields, golden wreaths, stelæ, and inscriptions which in honor of the emperors had been set up in the open halls (περιβολαι) of the courts of the synagogues (Philo, “In Flaccum,” § 7). The great synagogue of Alexandria, which was destroyed during the reign of Trajan, was especially famous, its size and splendor being made the subject of glowing descriptions in the schools of Palestine and Babylon (Suk. 51a; Tosef., ib. iv.; Yer. Suk. 55a).

The Greek Old Testament, or Septuagint (from the Latin: septuāgintā, lit. ‘seventy’; often abbreviated 70. The first five books of the Hebrew Bible, known as the Torah or the Pentateuch, were translated in the mid-3rd century BCE; they did not survive as original translation texts, however, except as rare fragments. The full title (Ancient Greek: Ἡ μετάφρασις τῶν Ἑβδομήκοντα, lit. ‘The Translation of the Seventy’) derives from the story recorded in the Letter of Aristeas that the Hebrew Torah was translated into Greek at the request of Ptolemy II Philadelphus (285–247 BCE) by 70 Jewish scholars or, according to later tradition, 72: six scholars from each of the Twelve Tribes of Israel, who independently produced identical translations, this had to be miraculous. According to the legend, seventy-two Jewish scholars were asked by Ptolemy II Philadelphus, the Greek king of Egypt, to translate the Torah from Biblical Hebrew to Greek for inclusion in the Library of Alexandria.[13] This narrative is found in the Letter of Aristeas to his brother Philocrates, and is repeated by Philo of Alexandria, Josephus (in Antiquities of the Jews), and by later sources (including Augustine of Hippo). It is also found in the Tractate Megillah of the Babylonian Talmud. King Ptolemy once gathered 72 Elders. He placed them in 72 chambers, each of them in a separate one, without revealing to them why they were summoned. He entered each one’s room and said: “Write for me the Torah of Moshe, your teacher”. God put it in the heart of each one to translate identically as all the others did, , this had to be miraculous.

Rab said: Persia will fall into the hands of Rome. Few know that the exact ground of the US Capital of Washington D.C. stands on what was formerly known as a town by the name of “Rome, Maryland.”

Thereupon R. Kahana and R. Assi asked of Rab: [Shall] the builders fall into the hands of the destroyers? — He said to them: Yes, it is the decree of the King.

Others say: He replied to them: They too are guilty for they destroyed the synagogues. It has also been taught in accord with the above, Persia will fall into the hands of Rome, first because they destroyed the synagogues, and then because it is the King’s decree that the builders fall into the hands of the destroyers.

This book concerns the writings of the Biblical prophets. It also includes prophesies found in ancient Hebrew manuscripts that are no longer existent that were destroyed in the Holocaust. Much of the explanations of the biblical prophesies passed down by oral tradition that are found in this book have never been translated into English before. It also includes ancient prophesies of Daniel, Zerubavel, Elijah and others that were not included in the Bible and that have never been translated into English.

Concerning the books content, it has 3 parts

This book concerns the writings of the Biblical prophets. It also includes prophesies found in ancient Hebrew manuscripts that are no longer existent that were destroyed in the Holocaust. Much of the explanations of the biblical prophesies passed down by oral tradition that are found in this book have never been translated into English before. It also includes ancient prophesies of Daniel, Zerubavel, Elijah and others that were not included in the Bible and that have never been translated into English.

Here is explained all the possible scenarios -a real thriller, you wont put it down.

INTRODUCTION

Its written in Isiah “ If you inquire in the book of GOD” (34:16) concerning this the Zohar comments : You will find the reason and cause of your exile, and the means of your redemption. If you inquire there in, the book will call upon you to return in perfect repentance, and come near to GOD.1 For many years I studied the ancient prophets to determine what was the purpose and meaning of their writings. From this I saw that they primarily left us with a vivid description of the messianic era this part of the book is called ” GREAT DAYS “, the prophets also inform us with advice and rebukes for the generations to come this section is called ” THINGS TO DO “, the prophets also tell us of wars and world changes which might take place before the messianic era this section is called ” what will be ” . All of this information I found spread out as parts of a puzzle through out the words of the different ancient prophets of Israel. I gathered the information together by nation, and subject from all the prophets so as to be able to ” put the pieces together” , so as to be able to see clearly the big picture. The vision given to us from all the prophets together. To understand the words of the prophets which at times can be difficult I closely examined many commentaries to their words, also the Talmud, midrash, and Kabbalah. This book is the message I found.

It’s written, in the words of the Prophet Habakuk:

” For there is still a vision for the appointed time and it speaks concerning the end and it does not lie, though it may tarry, wait for it because it shall surely come, it will not delay “.  (2:3)

Isiah said   “I יהו “ה will hasten it in its time” (60:22)

Concerning this Rabbi Yosi said “All depends on whether the people will repent of their sins. If they are worthy GOD will Hasten the redemption, if not in its time.2

The Prophet Michah describes this end time:

” I will make her the remnant halted, daughter of Zion, to you shall it come. There will come the first government, the kingdom to the daughter of Jerusalem. Now why does she cry badly, because she has no king, and her counselor has perished?  For pangs have taken you as a woman in labor.  Be in pain and labor to bring forth, oh daughter of Zion “.  (4:7 – 10)

The Maharol of Prague Wrote that in the future the messianic king will establish a new kingdom which will emerge from the first kingdom which will precede it. It is as a unripe fruit grows in a peel till the fruit is ripe, then the peel decays. This is like Moses who grew up in the house of Pharoe.3 In the future the goverment on Israel will no longer be as it is now as there will be reestablished the Sanhedrin (governing body of 72 men).4 The book you are about to read is a message from days long past and forgotten, yet it’s voice has just arrived here, just today.  As it states in the Song Of Songs, ” The voice of the turtle dove is heard in our land ” (2:12).  This is the voice of the eternal prophets of Israel.  Those spoken of when the prophet Amos speaks saying ” There is not a thing YHVH does which he has not shown to his servants the prophets “.  (3:7)

After almost 2000 years of exile, the Hebrew people have begun returning to their land.  Contained herein are the instructions that God has given us through his prophets for these times. Together let us delve deeply into their words and we shall see what is in store for us in the future, what it is that our blessed creator asks of us, and what is the good to come.  Only with this foresight can we walk with God to bring in gracefully this new era that was spoken of in days of old by our blessed prophets. Take heed and take part in the long awaited redemption!

GREAT DAYS

Now we will look at what is to come in the future according to the vision given to us from the Creator by our beloved prophets. From this we will see the great good which our Beloved Creator wishes to bestow on the world, and on the nation of Israel in particular physically and spiritually. Then we will look at what the prophets have given to us as instruction for these later days to merit these blessings. I ask you my beloved friend to take to heart these teachings and act upon them immediately. Sharing them with those who have an ear to hear, as the hour is late. Now let us proceed with ” GREAT DAYS “, explanation and description of the Messianic revelation, these being words of consolation and comfort telling us of the time to come, the reward for the righteous. It is out of such great kindness that the largest parts of the writings of the Prophets are filled with messianic imagery,” Blessed is his Holy name because his kindness endures forever”. Now we shall look at Israel inheriting the land, the miracles, signs and wonders and the revelation of The Messiah in the messianic era.

The Prophet Isaiah states:

” For YHVH will have mercy on Jacob and will in addition choose Israel and will set them in their own land and the stranger shall be joined to them and they shall cleave to the house of Jacob ”     (14:1)

Rashi says concerning the phrase ” and will choose in addition Israel ” This refers to the time in the future when GOD shall redeem Israel in a complete redemption. Metsudat David adds that Israel’s deliverance from the oppression of Bavel will seem a small thing compared to the redemption in the days of Messiah. As this will be a redemption off all Israel in a complete redemption, and also to everything that rests upon the earth. At this time converts will be added to Israel.

The personal providence of GOD’s redemption of the Hebrew people from their troubles is described in the words of the prophet Malachi:

” For they who feared YHVH  spoke with one another and hearkened and heard it and a book of remembrance was written before him for those who feared YHVH and took heed of his name, and they shall be mine says YHVH. On that day I appoint as my particular day. I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him “.  (3:16-18)

Rabbi Avraham Ibn Ezra comments “Those who fear GOD” are the Tsadekem, “they who heed his name” are the wise of heart that know the secret of the glorious and awesome name. In Perke de Rebbe Eleazer, Rabban Gamliel teaches the Heavens and earth are destined to pass away, as it is written ” And the Hosts of Heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll”. All the inhabitants shall taste the taste of death for two days. On the third day he shall renew them all and revive the dead. There shall be no more evil or plague. Now lets look at the detail that can be known with the help of GOD. We get more of an overview of the wondrous protection GOD affords Israel from the words of Isaiah:

”  In that day shall the plant of YHVH shall be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the land shall be excellent and beautiful for those that remain of Israel. And it will come to pass that he that remains in Zion and He that remains in Jerusalem shall be called Holy, everyone in Jerusalem that is written to life. For YHVH will create upon every dwelling place of Mount Zion and upon her assemblies a cloud and smoke by day, and the shinning of a flaming fire by night. There shall be a marriage canopy and there shall be a Tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat and for a place of refuge and cover from the storm and from the rain ” (4:2-6)

The Radak explains that ” The plant ” this is Messiach. Rashi explains the fruit of the land are those Tsadekem who are the fruit of the Tree Of Life. The Radak says with the arrival of Messiach man will rejoice in the creation. Then Messiach will be victorious in the war against Gog. Then there will be Peace and quiet in the earth, and the world will be in awe. After this his genius and beauty will be revealed on the nations. Rashi says the  Chuppah (Marriage canopy) on the people will be the Shechinah. The Radak explains first there will be a cloud of glory of mercy in  Miscanot (Tabernacles), and in the Holy Temple. The Zohar says the Temple will be built before the exiles are gathered. So that the Shechinah first returns to the “mikdosh.” But if we are then only returning from exile the cloud of glory will be seen on the wise, great and Chassidim. In the day will be a cloud and burning and at night a glowing consuming fire, like there was with the tabernacle in the desert. The Vilna Goan explains that the smoke and glowing consuming fire is like at Mount Sinai during the giving of the Torah. The cloud prevents one from looking on the glory of GOD as none can look and live. The Succah (tabernacle) will be shade by day to protect from the burning heat of the sun and from the sword. The Scoch (Roof of the Succah) will be the cloud of glory. Explaining further we turn to the Gomorra in Tractate Bava Metzia5 where Rabba says in the name of Rabbi Yochanan That the Holy one in the future will make a Succah for the righteous to protect from the sun, and it will be made of the skin of the Leviathan. If a man will be worthy a succah will be made for him, if not a mere covering, if He is not worthy of this a necklace will be made for him, if he doesn’t merit this a Amulet will be made for him. The rest of the Leviathan will be spread out over the hills of Jerusalem by the Holy One, and its splendor will shine from one end of the world to the other as it is written ” The nations shall rise in your light and kings in the brightness of your rising “

Also concerning the Leviathan Rabba said in the name of rabbi Yochanan The Holy one in the future will make a feast of the flesh of the Leviathan. Rav Dimi said in the name of Rabbi Yochanan the angel Gavreal will in the future hunt the leviathan, and if the Holy One does not help him, he will not be able to prevail over him. Now we will look upon the future of the nations Who come upon Jerusalem, The Prophet Isaiah states:

” And on this mountain shall YHVH TSVAOT   make to all the peoples a feast of fat things. A feast of wines on the lees of fat things, of marrow of wines on lees well refined. He shall destroy in this mountain the covering that is cast over the nations. He shall destroy death forever and ADONY YHVH will wipe away tears from all faces. The insult of the people he will take away of all the Earth for YHVH  has spoken it. (25:6)

The Metsudat David says all the nations will go up to war against Israel. The Radak explains that the feast spoken of here is a metaphor. This is GOD’s feast. The nations will each kill his comrade. Each will raise his hand to his neighbor. The Radak says on the Holy mountain GOD will drink a cup and its contents, meaning all the nations that siege Jerusalem. The Metsudat David says the covering over Gog that is as a shield to them will be removed, by this they will fall. The Radak explains from the words “destroy death”, that no longer will the nations harm Israel. The Prophet Amos continues to describe how GOD will deal with the nations, and also Israel’s inheritance of the nations:

” On that day I will raise up the tabernacle of David that has fallen and repair its breaches, and I will raise up his ruins and build it as in days of old. That they may possess the remnant of Edom and of all the nations that are called by my name, says YHVH  Who does this “

Rashi tells us the ” house of David that is fallen ” this refers to the re-establishment of the Royal house of David over GOD’s people Israel. The Metsudat David adds that the Kingship of David will be as in days of old. The Radak explains the ” Inheritance of Edom and the nations” by saying we will inherit our enemies, those who hate us, being Edom, the Palishteem (Palestinian), Moab and Amon. This will be like in the times of King David when He conquered Edom. Inheritance of only the “remnant of the nations” is spoken of here because this is all that will be left after the massive destruction because of the anger of GOD against the nations that did evil to Israel. Metsudat David tells us the nations will come to serve Israel. As we see this shall be a difficult time for the nations, but do not be mistaken to think that this will be a care free time for Israel. We have seen how GOD will miraculously protect the Righteous, pious, great and those who fear his name. Now we shall look at the words of Isaiah to understand the difficulty of these times:

” on that day shall the glory of Jacob shall be made thin and his flesh shall become lean”

(17:4)

The Radak explains in this time will be revealed the ten tribes that were lost to us till now. This is the ” glory of Jacob”. But this glory will be thinned by the glory of the nation of  Ashur (Iran). Israel will feel rich for a moment from the gatherings of the exiles, but the glorious feeling will not last because of the trouble of Iran. Isaiah continues:

” At that day shall a man look to his maker, and his eyes shall have regard to the Holy One of Israel ” (17:7)

The Metsudat David says man will come to trust in GOD, because there will be no place else to turn. The Prophet Isaiah states:

” For the day of  YHVH  shall be upon every one that is  proud and lofty, and every one that is lifted up shall be brought low ” (2:12)

The Radak explains in the ” day of GOD ” all will recognize his kingship, by this the arrogant will be brought low. Now that we have looked externally at what will happen. Now we shall look at what will happen internally, spiritually to the Hebrew people, the nations around us and the world itself according to the prophesy of Jeremiah:

” Behold I will gather them out of all the countries I have scattered them in my anger, and in my fury and in great wrath. I will bring them back to this place. I will cause them to dwell safely. They will be my people and I will be their God. I will give them one heart and one way. That they may fear me forever for their good, and that of their children after them. I will make an everlasting covenant with them. I will not turn away from doing good to them, but I will put my fear in their hearts and they shall not turn aside from me. I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will truly plant them in this land with my whole heart and my whole soul. Thus says YHVH   just as I have brought all this great evil on this people. So will I bring upon them all the good that I have promised them ” (32:37-43)

Rashi says we will be gathered together in mercy from all places. The Metsudat David explains Israel will be as one heart, meaning there will be no more doubt, and they will not ignore any of my words to desecrate them, but all as one will go in the way of the fear of GOD for all days forever more. Now we have looked at how Jeremiah describes the changes that take place in the heart’s of GOD’s children Israel. Now we shall look for further clarification in this matter from the Prophet Ezekiel:

” For I will gather you from all the nations and take you from all the countries, and bring you into your own land. Then I will sprinkle clean water on you and you shall be clean from all of your uncleanness, and from your idols I will cleanse you. A new heart I will give you. A new spirit I will put in you, I will take the stony heart out of your flesh. I will give you a heart of flesh. I will put my spirit within you and cause you to follow my statutes and keep my judgments to do them. You will dwell in the land I gave to your fathers. You will be my people and I will be your God. I will save you from your uncleanness. I will call the corn and make it abundant. You will no more receive the reproach of famine among the nations ” (36:24-30)

The Radak explains ” I will sprinkle purifying water on you and you shall be clean “, Just as those who are impure become pure by immersing in the pure water of a Mikvah, so too those who sin and are impure from iniquity will be purified in atonement. Explaining ” I will put a new heart and new spirit within you ” the Radak says that there shall be to them a heart that hears and a  Ruach (spirit) that is true to receive the words of the blessed one in love. The heart and spirit will be in awe. The Metsudat David say GOD’s name will be sanctified when he takes us from the nations. Concerning the “purifying water” we learn we will receive atonement from our iniquities, and there will pass away the impurity of our sin in the sprinkling of the ashes of the red heifer, purifying us from the impurity of death. The aspect of “new heart” is described by the Metsudat David as upright and driven to fulfill a will that is good. From the “new spirit” there will return prophecy, which has been missing all the days of exile. With the renewal of prophecy is the coming of the forbearer of the Messiah as described in the words of the Prophet Malachi:

” Behold I will send My messenger and He shall clear the way before me, and ADON  who you seek shall suddenly come into his temple, and the messenger of the covenant whom you delight in. Behold He shall come says YHVH TSVAOT. Who shall abide the day of his coming. Who shall stand when he appears. For He is like the refiners fire, like the washers soap. He shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and shall purify the son’s of Levi, and purge them as Silver and Gold that they may offer to YHVH an offering in righteousness. Then shall the offerings of Yehudah and Jerusalem be pleasant to YHVH as in days of old and former years ” (3:1-4).

Where kabballah came from

Three and a half thousand years ago an event occurred in an empire at the edge of Afrika that would have a major impact on the lives of every single human being that has lived since and will yet live on Earth. The Creator of the Universe gave three million newly freed slaves from the corrupt Egyptian civilization of the time a glimpse of His infinite reality.

The three million terrified former slaves, known as the Hebrews, begged their leader Moshe to intercede on their behalf since it was inconceivable to them that they could possibly survive the slavery. The Creator consented and Moshe proceeded up Mount Sinai, where he received the Torah straight from The Holy One, Blessed Be He.

The Torah thus became God’s direct communication with the People of Israel and through them to the rest of the world. What Moshe brought down in physical form was a written text divided into Five Books. He also brought with him two other vitally precious treasures.

The first was an oral explanation of how to perform and integrate into our lives the Commandments (mitzvoth) enumerated in the written Torah. This was passed down through the generations as The Oral Tradition and survives to the present day as The Talmud.

The second treasure was the key that unlocks the deepest mysteries of underlying metaphysical truths about the nature of Creation and The Infinite Creator, hidden in the words and the very letters of the Written Torah.

This key was also passed down through the generations, but only to a restricted chosen few in each generation. These spiritual giants, who exist in every generation, preserved that which gradually over the centuries they refined and revealed through the written word. Their efforts brought forth more than three thousand texts in print alone, which today comprise that which is collectively known as “Kabbalah.” (Hundreds more exist in manuscript form in private collections and libraries scattered throughout the world).

The Kabbalah has been compared by many to the modern science of physics. What physics attempts to do is to explain the substance of the universe (i.e. Creation) and how it works. It is both a theoretical science and a practical science.

The science of Kabbalah also explains the basic nature of Creation and has two aspects as well – one theoretical and the other practical. Not surprisingly, most of the discoveries being made in Physics today coincide with what we already know from Kabbalah.

The word “Kabbalah” itself comes from the Hebrew root word “kabal” which means “receive”. The implication is that the knowledge of the Kabbalah is “received” by the scholars of each generation from those of the previous generation, reaching all the way back to the original “receiving” by Moshe at Mt. Sinai from God Himself. The Mishna says that “… Moshe transmitted it (the Torah) to Joshua, Joshua passed it on to the Elders of Israel, the Elders transmitted it to the Prophets, the Prophets to the Men of the Great Assembly, etc.”

Moshe, being the master of all prophets that he was, understood the Torah completely. He was the perfect vessel to receive the complete knowledge contained within the Torah, including its deepest mysteries. Thus, the Mishna in Tractate Avot (Fathers) says that “Moshe Kibel (received) Torah” because he was the original mold from which all future prophets were to be formed. His was a complete and perfect kabbalah of the prophetic message from The Creator.

In the Book of Numbers (27:20) it says that when Moshe handed over the reins of leadership to Joshua, God told Moshe to “Invest him (Joshua) with your spirit….” Therefore when it says that he “…transmitted it to Joshua, etc.”, the Sages of the Talmud explain that Moshe gave Joshua the necessary methods and disciplines for entering into a prophetic state; the “keys” for acquiring — “receiving” — prophecy. This is the tradition of Kabbalah.

During the ensuing period of the Prophets, the secret of Kabbalah were guarded by the Master Prophets of each generation and taught to a select few disciples. With the closing of the period of the Prophets about to come to an end as the destruction of the First Holy Temple drew near, the prophet Ezekiel was shown a fantastic vision called “Ma’aseh Merkava” (the Workings of the Chariot). In this powerfully intense vision, Ezekiel is shown (and thereby we as well) the secrets of The Creation or, in other words, the Kabbalah.

Although the words are words of mystery and hardly understandable to the uninitiated, it is the first time that these secrets were committed to ink and parchment. In Tractate Chagiga in the Talmud, the Sages of Blessed Memory instruct that, “The Ma’aseh Merkava may be taught only to individual students one at a time and they must be wise, understanding with their own knowledge.”

With the Roman Conquest and the ensuing destruction of Jerusalem and the Second Holy Temple, continued the long exile and dispersion until this day.

Realizing that there was a great danger that the Oral Tradition (including Kabbalah) could be lost with the scattering of the Jewish People, it became apparent to the Sages that it would have to eventually be committed to writing.

Under the leadership of Rabban Yochanon ben Zakai, the Sages began to gather and consolidate all the accumulated Oral Torah knowledge.

In the year 130 C.E. the Jews of Eretz Yisrael could no longer tolerate the outrages perpetrated by the Roman oppressor and rebelled. With Rabbi Akiva as the spiritual inspiration and Simon Bar Kochba as the military leader, the Jews actually succeeded in expelling the Romans. For three years the Land was free. But it was not to last.

The Romans returned and ruthlessly re-conquered the Jewish Homeland, this time setting out to completely eradicate all trace of this bothersome stubborn people. The land of the Jews, Judea, was renamed Palestine after the ancient Philistines

As the Romans re-conquered every town and village they rounded up all the Jewish residents brought them to the coast and put them on any boat to come along to be sent to wherever in Empire the boat happened to be going. In addition, the study of Torah and the performance of its mitzvos became forbidden in the Land of Israel but not elsewhere in the Roman Empire. Living life as a Jew was easier elsewhere than in the Land of Israel itself. Thus was the scattering of the Jewish People complete.

As a result of these persecutions the Oral Tradition brought down to the Jewish nation from Mt. Sinai, in particular the Kabbalah tradition, was in danger of being forgotten or, even worse, changed and twisted to accommodate the perceived needs of every local community of Jews.

To preserve Jewish identity and survival as a people at all the Oral Tradition would have to be consolidated, organized and written down. Rabbi Akiva started the process of consolidation and organizing. He wrote down his “received” tradition and gave it the name “Sefer Yetzira” (Book of Formation).

Three other main pillars of the Kabbalah were also committed to writing during this period of persecution, violence and upheaval; Sefer Bahir (Book of Illumination) by Rabbi Nehunia ben Hakanah, Pirkei Hekhalot Rabatai (The Greater Book of Divine Chambers) by Rabbi Ishmael ben Elisha and The Zohar (The Book of Splendor) by Shimon bar Yochai (Rashbi).

The Zohar, in particular, became the primary source for the study of theoretical Kabbalah. It was said to have been revealed to Rashbi by the Prophet Elijah while Rashbi and his son were hiding from Roman persecution in a cave for thirteen years.

When it became clear that it was safe to emerge, Rashbi and his son established a school of Torah with the main emphasis on the closely guarded Secrets the of Torah (i.e. Kabbalah). This school survived for many years after the death of Rashbi and seventy years later, his disciples and students wrote down his most important teachings which then became the main body of what eventually was called The Zohar.

For more than a thousand years, what we today call The Zohar consisted of volumes of notes and writings handed down from the Rashbi and his disciples and kept from the general public by a small secret society of Talmudic scholars which through the years had grown from the original school of the Rashbi.

Finally in the mid-Thirteenth Century CE, one of the greatest Kabbalists of all time, Rabbi Moshe de Leon had the privilege and task of editing and finally publishing The Zohar as we know it today. Enough was already known of Zoharic literature by the great scholars of the time that it gained acceptance as a valid understanding of Torah with few objections.

Since the publication of the Zohar, two other periods of Jewish history have produced major developments in our understanding of Kabbalah.

In the sixteenth century CE, the city of Zefat in northern Israel became a magnet for great rabbis and scholars of Kabbalah. The greatest among them was a young and brilliant scholar born in to Ashkenazi parents in Jerusalem and sent to live with his uncle in Egypt where he was taught by the famous Torah scholar, R. Bezalel Ashkenazi, author of the Shita Mekubetzet.

The young genius’ name was R. Yitzhchak Luria, also known as the “Ari” (acronym for Adoneinu Rabbi Yitzchak). After years of study and seclusion in Egypt, he was told in a dream by Elijah the Prophet that his time was limited and he needed to go to the Land of Israel to give over what he had learned. In 1569 CE he arrived in the holy city of Tzfat and within a short time gathered around himself an illustrious circle of disciples who included R. Yosef Caro, author of the Shulchan Aruch, and R. Chaim Vital.

At the time of the Ari’s arrival in Zefat. Chaim Vital was already well known and respected as a great scholar of Torah and its secrets. Upon meeting the Ari for the first time, the Ari said that his whole purpose in learning and teaching was so that Chaim Vital would learn from him and become his disciple. And so it was. Over the next two years the Ari spoke volumes and Chaim Vital took copious notes. In those two short years the Ari managed to transfer to his devoted disciple the entire wealth of his knowledge, creating a revolution in Jewish thought that has reverberated throughout the Jewish world to this very day.

Upon his sudden passing in 1572 CE, the Ari conferred onto his beloved disciple, R. Chaim Vital, the momentous task of organizing and codifying all he had been taught.

The Ari’s brilliant understanding of the Zohar and all the rest of the Kabbalah, set forth by R. Chaim Vital, made it more accessible than ever before. Through his Holy genius he had been able to systematize and create a context for the esoteric knowledge found in the Zohar and all the other metaphysical works of Torah. Ever since, the Lurianic system of Kabbalah is by and large the most common way of understanding the secrets of Torah.

Today more than ever before, the sacred world of Kabbalah is of central importance in our day-to-day lives. Kabbalah provides a practical guide for living. As a description of God’s physical creation, with modern discoveries in physical sciences corroborating with increasing frequency accepted ancient truths revealed to us in Kabbalah, it has become the ultimate tool for understanding God’s world and the true meaning of Torah as God’s revelation to His world. Combined with the learning and doing of the Torah’s Mitzvot, The Way of Kabbalah will bring the final redemption and the coming of the Holy Messiah, may it happen speedily in our days.

KEVER RACHEL-RACHEL’S TOMB

rachel today

For thousands of years, Jews have unburdened their hearts to Rachel Imeinu – and had their prayers answers.
The Barren were blessed with children,
The sick were cured,
The single found their soul mate
And the broken-hearted found solace and peace.

Rachel’s Tomb, a site sacred to Jews for many generations,

Midrash teaches that Rachel was buried away from “Ma’arat ha-Makhpela” (Cave of the Patriarchs and Matriarchs )  so that the exiles, passing by her tomb, would be able to ask her to pray on their behalf. We noted the possibility that the reference is to the captives’ camp that Nevuzaradan established in the city of Rama close to Rachel’s tomb. The tomb of Rachel is said to be on the Efrat road to the misery of the exiles of Zion. She is said to be always weeping for her children.  Yaakov wanted to bury her in the portion of her son Binyamin, to whom she gave birth before dying. People relate Rachel’s grave to a place of  prayer for the exiles of Zion, she  prays for them The exiles when being force from their homeland it is said they passed by her grave in an organized, mass fashion. So to now we see the returning exiles coming back to the land and praying at here grave again.

Rachel’s Tomb is located in the city of Bethlehem. For centuries, it lay on a deserted roadside, and Rachel’s descendants would come here to pour out their hearts to her—the mother who dwells in a lonely wayside grave in order to be there for her suffering children. Rachel is a continuous source of comfort to her children—praying for her children and eliciting the divine promise of her children’s return to their Promised Land.

According to Midrash, the first person to pray at Rachel’s tomb was her eldest son, Joseph, who was only 7 when his mother died. When he was 17, his brothers sold him into slavery. As he was being carried away to Egypt, he broke away from his captors, ran to his mother’s grave and cried to her: “Mother, my mother who gave birth to me, wake up, arise and see my suffering.” “Do not fear,” he heard his mother answer. “Go with them, and G‑d will be with you.”

The structure on the site, a cube topped by a dome, was built around 1620 by the Ottoman Turks. in 1622  the Turkish governor of Jerusalem, Mohammad Pasha, permitted the Jews to wall off the four pillars that supported the dome and for the first time Rachel’s Tomb became a closed building. This was allowed by the Turkish governor to prevent Arab shepherds from grazing their flocks at the site. ”It was lengthened in 1860 by Sir Moses Montefiore. At the tomb is a rock with eleven stones upon it, one for each of the eleven sons of Jacob who were alive when Rachel died in childbirth. Over the centuries, the rock was covered by a dome supported by four arches. The large tomb is now covered by a velvet drape.

From the fifth century CE until the mid-1800s, Rachel’s tomb was marked by a tiny dome upheld by four beams. In 1841, Sir Moses Montefiore and his wife (who, like Rachel, was childless) added walls to the dome, and added a long room where visitors could find shelter from the weather, rest or have a bite to eat. The image of Rachel’s tomb that has been popularized in art and photos is of this structure.

In 1948, the Jordanians took control of the area and Jews were no longer allowed to pray at the tomb. Until then, Rachel’s Tomb had remained in an open area on the side of the road, but at that time, the Arabs built their own cemetery around the tomb, and Bethlehem expanded so that the tomb was now in the center of town.

After Israel’s Six-Day War victory in 1967, the tomb was reopened to Rachel’s children. For the next 30 years, Jews frequented it, making the short drive from Jerusalem to Bethlehem, praying at the site. A popular song of the time promised: “Your sons have come back to you, Mother Rachel, at their head Benjamin and Joseph . . . We will never go away from here again, Rachel.”

22 amino acids in humans genome and 22 letters in the Hebrew alphabet.

There are 22 amino acids in humans genome and 22 letters in the Hebrew alphabet. That set me wondering if there might be something translating it , what might it be?

It was obviously going to be an enormous job , i left it off for later , i needed to find where exactly to search on the Chromosome. The chromosomes are composed of DNA structured by 4 bases A-T, C-G, יהו”ה which are transcribed by the RNA in A-U (Uracil), C-G , which are structured in 64 combinations of 3 letters (codons) to express 22amino acids

Please God i will get back to the translation work

i did find another who has been doing this research states :

I found that abbreviations or full versions of the 14 most common names of God, most of them found in the Hebrew Scriptures, appeared about 500,000 times in each human cell – i.e., trillions of times (500,000 x 10 trillion) in the human body. We appear to be saturated with the names of God – or at least his signature. One of the most common four letter words in the genes was YHWH, the full name of God; it appeared 500 times in each cell. Its common abbreviation, YH, appeared 35,000 times
I found that “YY is”, is the predominant message in the DNA! YY is a common Hebrew prayer book abbreviation for unification of the names Yhv”h and  Adonai and is a kind of assertion that God exists.

Here are  14  names of God commonly found in the Torah, 1 is found in Jewish prayer books as abbreviations for the unification of the names Yhv”h and  Adonai,  the number of times they appeared in 100,000 amino acids taken from the first half dozen genes in each of the 23 chromosomes.

YY (Jewish prayer book abbreviation of unification of the names Yhv”h and  Adonai) ײ 1087
YH (Abbreviation of YHWH) יה 705
EL God אל 409
YYY (one of 72 names) ייי 128
ALHYM Elohim, God אלחי”ם 51
YHV”H I am what I am יהוה 11
ADNY Adonai, Lord אדני 2

from

https://www.godindna.nz/

I decided to try the same exercise on non-human DNA to see if names of God showed up there too. They did. I found that the most important name of God, YHWH, appeared almost three times more often in humans, as if he had a special relationship with us. But he also seemed to have written his names into every living thing.

Some people say that something they read “jumped out and hit them”. It is as if a phrase or message intended for someone else in another time applies personally to the present-day reader. Many others who read the same words will not have the same experience. This seems to happen more to readers of the Bible; somehow once doesn’t expect to encounter a life-changing phrase in a thriller!

it’s interesting to note that the “genome,” , the human DNA strand containing genes that actively are transcribed as a protien amount to only about 2% of the DNA.the rest called “introns” These no one really knows for sure what they are for …………

The 10th of Tevet and you….
bright bubble color flatlay

Photo by Pineapple Supply Co. on Pexels.com

On the 10th day of the month of Tevet, in the year 3336 of the  Biblical calendar (425 BCE) the army of the Babylonian emperor Nebuchadnezzar laid siege to Jerusalem. Thirty months later—on 9 Tammuz 3338—the city walls were breached, and on 9 Av of that year the Holy Temple was destroyed. The Jewish people were exiled to Babylonia for 70 years. AND THIS CONTINUES TO EFFECT US TO THIS DAY……………..

The 10th of Tevet  is observed by fasting, mourning and repentance refraining from food and drink from daybreak to nightfall, and special prayers- meditations are done. The fast ends at nightfall.

NO EVIL DESCENDS FROM HEAVEN

GOD IS OVER ALL THAT HAPPENS

AND ALL GOD DOES IS GOOD

The sages teach that God is good, and that all that He does is for the good and is good. But, His goodness is so often concealed within tragic and painful events. Concealed good is higher than revealed good, for it comes from the hidden world of God acting above nature.  The problem is we cannot see what the end outcome of what looks like to day tragedy will give birth to down the time line.

For example a primitive person if they were suddenly taken into a operating theater they would have idea of what is going on and may view it all as grotesque savagery

Not know a life is being saved

Or as a fish in the fish tank has not idea what in the fridge

Just because God may bring or allow into one’s life God forbid what appears to be not in one’s best interest, This does not mean one should just let the worst take its course and do nothing ———  take on and face  obstacles directly, sometimes this is done by  rising above and ‘over’ the obstacle. Though sometimes you may have to go around them or back away from them,  ‘go higher and deeper’ and by this you will come closer to God.  “Necessity is the mother of invention.” This is true both in the physical and spiritual realms of life. In His compassion God places obstacles on our paths to confront us and to teach us how to come near to Him and to one another. We can see many examples of this in our own lives. Life and growth is always about pushing the boundaries. Sometimes God pushes us.

The fast of Gedalia

Yirmiyahu recounts the murder of Gedalia ben Achikam, after the destruction of the Temple, when the remnant of the survivors were lost from the land, since they fled after the murder.  After the destruction, and the exile of Tzidkiyahu and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the king of Babylon appointed Gedalia ben Achikam as the governor of the small number of survivors who remained in Eretz Yisrael. Gedalia embarked on a process of rehabilitation of Am Yisrael in Eretz Yisrael, and the exiles from the neighboring lands began to return.

The prophet Yirmiyahu foretells success in this endeavor:

“If you will dwell again in this land – I shall build you up and not destroy, I shall plant you and not pluck, for I regret the evil that I have done to you.” (Yirmiyahu 42:10)

But the rebuilding of the Jewish settlement in Eretz Yisrael collapses and crashes because of the decision by Yishmael ben Netania to murder Gedalia, and Yirmiyahu’s prophecies of consolation are not fulfilled because of the decision by Yochanan ben Kareach and his cohorts to flee the land, for fear of the king of Babylon, because of the murder; they decide to go down to Egypt, taking the survivors (including Yirmiyahu) with them.

The gravity of Yishmael’s act arises not only from its disastrous results, but also from the act itself, in which a Jew (Yishmael ben Netania) collaborated with a gentile king (Ba’alis, king of Ammon) in order to kill one of his Jewish brethren – apparently out of personal jealousy, in view of the authority that Gedalia had received from the king of Babylon. We may draw a parallel between the evil deed of Yishmael ben Netania (who killed Gedalia) and of his sworn rival, Yochanan ben Kareach ,who took the remnant of Yehuda down to Egypt, in contravention of the prophet’s instructions.

The jealousy aroused by the authority vested in Gedalia by the king of Babylon brings to mind the jealousy of the brothers because of Yaakov’s love for Yosef and because of Yosef’s dreams. Yosef came, in all innocence, to check on his brothers’ welfare, his innocence preventing him from seeing the danger inherent in his brothers’ hatred for him. Gedalia’s innocence likewise prevented him from listening to the warnings of Yochanan ben Kareach; he hosted Yishmael at his table, to eat bread together with him at Mitzpa.

The most striking detail in the comparison between the two incidents is the casting of the victim’s body into the pit. Yishmael  threw Gedalia’s body into a pit, while in the story of Yosef  his brothers cast him  into a pit :

“And they took him, and threw him into a pit; and the pit was empty, there was no water in it.” (Barashit 37:24)

“And it was, as they came into the city, that Yishmael ben Netania slew them [and cast them] into the pit – he and the men who were with him.” (Yirmiyahu 41:7)

On the other hand, the story of the murder of Gedalia is also reminiscent of Yehuda’s suggestion to sell Yosef to the Ishmaelites. The brothers cooperated with the gentile Ishmaelites who came from Gil’ad, just as the Jewish Yishmael collaborated with Ba’alis, king of Ammon, who also ruled, most of the time, in Gil’ad. In the wake of the murder, Yochanan ben Kareach and his men save all the survivors from the hands of Yishmael, but lead them into Egyptian exile. Correspondingly, Yehuda saves Yosef from the horrors of the pit, but sells him to the Ishmaelites who take him down to Egypt; ultimately all of his father’s household is drawn into exile after him.

Rock-cut tombs are mentioned in the Bible. As its written about the “Cave of Machpelah”, was purchased by Abraham for Sarah from Ephron the Hittite (Gen. 23:2) Hundreds of Jewish rock-cut tombs were constructed in Israel in ancient times. They were cut into the rock with elaborate facades and multiple burial chambers. Some are free-standing, but most are caves. The earliest Israelite tombs, which date to the 9th century BCE in Jerusalem. There are a great many Jewish tombs dating to the Second Temple period.

In the Silwan valley is the most important ancient cemetery of the First Temple period, is assumed to have been used by the highest-ranking officials residing in Jerusalem, the capital city of the Kingdom of Judah. Its tombs were cut between the 9th and 7th centuries BCE. It is located in the Kidron Valley across from biblical Jerusalem of the kings of Judah, in the lower part of the ridge where the village of Silwan now stands. The architecture of the tombs and the manner of burial is different from anything known from contemporary Palestine. Having entrances located high above the surface, gabled ceilings, straight ceilings with a cornice trough-shaped resting-places with pillows, above-ground tombs, and inscriptions engraved on the facade appear only here. There are three different types of tombs in the Silwan , each type concentrated in one specific area. Seven of the tombs feature gabledceilings and extremely fine stonework. They have been described as among the most beautifully rock-cut tombs known in the Jerusalem area even when compared with tombs of later periods A second tomb type has flat ceilings and one, two, or three chambers of well-dressed stone carefully squared into spacious rooms. One features a rear chamber of especially “impressive” scale and quality. There are tombs combining characteristics of the two described here above. A third type consists of just three “magnificent” First Temple monolith tombs, now located in the northern part of the village. These have been carved out of the cliff to create free-standing buildings above the underground burial chambers. Hebrew inscriptions survive on these three tombs; these are the only ancient inscriptions that survive in Silwan. The Silwan. monolith was first described as located under the courtyard of a modern-period house serving as a cistern. It has the finest and most delicate stone dressing in the Silwan . The upper story was destroyed for use as quarried stone in the Roman/Byzantine period. Only a small section of the inscription survived to be recorded by Ussishkin. The first line is “This is the burial of Z …”. The second line “the one who opens this tomb . ..” The third line was illegible. The Pillar of Absalom is in our day the most prominent edifice in the Kidron Valley, easily recognizable through its singular architecture: a round dome set on a square structure.  Beside it we find the Tomb of Benei Hezir and the Tomb of Zecharia. At the foot of Ras Al-Amud, we find graves dated from the 8-7th Centuries BCE, and identified as part of the cemetery of the Jerusalem nobility from the Judean Kingdom.  The best-known grave among these is a tomb called “Yehu Who Is Lord of the House,” after the inscription at its entrance.

During the Second Temple period, rock-cut tombs were built outside the walls of the city of Jerusalem in every direction extendinf as far as 7 km from the city walls but predominantly to the north and south of the city. more prestigious tombs located close to the city.

The Tombs of the Kings is a collection of rock cut tombs in East Jerusalem believed to be the burial site of Queen Helene of Adiabene. The site is just east of the intersection of Nablus Road and Saladin Street. The gate of the property is marked in  French  “Tomb of the Kings”. As of May 2016, the Tombs of the Kings cannot normally be visited they being considered private property of the French State. From the house there is a 9 meter wide staircase (23 steps) that was originally paved and leads to a forecourt. Rain water is collected in baths, which are carved in the steps, and carried via a channel system to the water wells. At the bottom of the stairs there is a stone wall to the left with a gate. This gate leads to a courtyard that was cut from the rock at the same date. The dimensions of this courtyard are roughly 27 meters long from north to south and 25 meters wide from west to east.  The entrance to the tombs is via this courtyard. The tombs are entered via a rock-cut arch facade in the western side. The 28-meter facade was crowned with three pyramids, which no longer exist, and decorated with reliefs of grapes, plexus leaves, acorns and fruit, reflecting the Greek architectural style. The architrave was originally supported by two pillars, fragments of which were found in the excavations. The tombs are arranged on two levels around a central chamber, with four rooms upstairs and three rooms downstairs. The tombs are now empty, but previously housed a number of sarcophagi; they were excavated by a French archaeological mission headed by Louis Felicien de Saulcy, who took them back to France. They are exhibited at the Louvre.

The Cave of Nicanor is an ancient burial cave located on Mount Scopus in Jerusalem. Among the ossuaries discovered in the cave is one with an inscription referring to “Nicanor the door maker”. The cave is located in the National Botanic Garden of Israel on the grounds of the Mount Scopus campus of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Nicanor is mentioned in the works of the Roman Jewish historian Josephus and the Talmud as the donor of the bronze doors of the Court of the Women in the Second Temple in Jerusalem. This fact is also inscribed in Greek on his ossuary, which is a rare case of archaeology supporting facts stated by written sources.

Rock-cut tombs are  found in the Judges 8:32; 2 Samuel 2:32; Second Kings 9:28; 23:30; 21:26; 23:16

The elaborate Tombs of the Sanhedrin are north of the city. They were so called by later generations because the largest of them contains 70 chambers with burial benches, and the Sanhedrin had seventy members. Each of the three tombs would actually have contained the burials of a single, multi-generational, wealthy family. They were constructed between the reign of Herod and the year 70.

There has more recently been uncovered excavations of a large Jewish necropolis Second Temple Period  in Yericho 75 of the Robbed tombs were surveyed. The graves were  marked in the Jericho cemetery By charcoal drawings of a neftI on a tomb wall and a three-dimensional stone neftI on the surface of the cemetery.
