Compare the story of the Spies in Parashat Beshalah and today how “leaders” don’t encourage or even discourage people from living in the Holy Land. In parsha Bashalah the people should have listened to Moses, Joshua, and Caleb and not the horrible short sighted words of the spies.
There are those who would like to believe God will forgive all the sins of secular Jews because they can be all be considered under the Torah legal status as be “tinnokot she-nishbu” (a child stolen from Jews and raised by gentiles as a gentile). Such a thought may seem comforting but does not really have what to stand on ! It is a Jewish obligation to pass tradition to the next generation, this is a Torah commandment. One of my teachers once said “You are responsible to be responsible”. If one honestly believes they live in a culture that makes it impossible to educate their children. They then have to move to an environment that allows them to pass on their Torah values. We certainly cannot allow a status quo that produces children who we have to categorize as a child stolen from Jews and raised by gentiles as a gentile !
“Picking and choosing” among the mitzvot of the Torah is not correct. Pretending Aretz Yisrael does not matter ? Is evil and stupid ! Its obvious the main hold on Jews by the the “other side” has always manifested keeping Jews from living in The Land of Israel. Torah of Aretz Yisrael hits a raw nerve for many religious Jews who don’t live in Israel. You hear those religious Jews who live in ‘galut’ (exile) always saying God will bring me out of the exile, like God is their chauffeur. They will say “we have no obligation to build the Temple…..it’s Gods job. Meanwhile every passover every Jew is obligated to bring the “passover sacrifice, which can only be brought at the Temple mount. Still they say “we do not have to lot a finger to build the Mikdash (Temple)…..it will come down from the sky” This is pie in the sky Torah…..But in truth a Jew must strive physically and financially to ascend to Israel.. It is a Torah obligation to ascend to live in “Aretz Yisrael”, this is the rule not the exception.
Will it be like this for America’s and the worlds’ religious Jews outside of Israel until it’s not practical to live in the USA. As was the case in Europe. .It was not until the Jews of Europe tasted death and destruction of the Holocaust that they understood God’s Divine will demanded the Jews to leave Europe and move to Israel. Despite the fact that the Talmud is full of the Torah of Eretz Yisrael and it’s all over the Bible and atleast 200 of the 613 mitzvot (commandments) depend on it living in “Aretz Yisrael”. Which means all mitzvot in essence depend on it. As soon as a person prays one realizes the “tefila” (prayer) given to us by our prophets and sages direct our attention to dwelling in The Holy Land. This is so as Eretz yisrael is the lifeblood of a Jew. So, if you are not doing everything you can to live, thrive build and conquer the land of Israel you are missing out of the most primary part of the Torah and Divine service. If one rejects living in the Holy land or does not even really consider it then one is prone to suffer from all the curses that a Jew endures in exile…..The choice is always yours. Don’t forget as Rashi brings down :
Rashi brings from Siphre the idea that we observe commandments outside of Israel so we will remember how to do them when we are in the land of Israel. So the purpose of keeping the commandments is only practice for the days when we are in the land of Israel.
What would a golfer think he could accomplish even if he had the best golf clubs, golf cart and golfing lessons but never went to a golf course. This is just like observing the Torah all one’s life outside of the Holy land when it was possible to ascend..
Rashi brings from Siphre the idea that we observe commandments outside of Israel so we will remember how to do them when we are in the land of Israel. So the purpose of keeping the commandments is only practice for the days when we are in the land of Israel.
Leaving Egypt means transcending our limitations and ceasing to be slaves to our evil inclinations, but identifying ourselves as servants of God is not the ultimate escape either but only another aspect of slavery, it is not complete freedom but may be a necessary step along the way. The free man is the one who does not serve God as a slave but as a lover.
Torah and mitzvos are obligations that reach beyond the framework of everyday existence as they are of the world to come,
Rise above material concerns and engage in deeds “for the sake of heaven”.
There are two ways one may go to the left way is the path of suffering. The right is the way of the path of The Torah, the path of the light. The left way goes away from the direct path to the God and invoke the Divine rod to compels us to return to God’s ways if one merits, or they are so evil they are just left to parish.
Everything that happens to us is only to lead us so that we may correct ourselves, meaning to give us vessels and to draw the light that fixes us and the world towards God’s desire.
Wicked people intentionally harm themselves and others.. An ordinary person is neither good nor bad. He just lives like any other animal and is not involved in Divine service. Such a person is controlled by Nature, God as “Elokim” under most circustances. And there are those who will choose to occupy in a Divine mission with their life and they will become Holy and surpass their nature and nature in general. They cleave to יהו”ה
Some people can remain in religious environments many years, like those who learn in “yeshivah” all their life and still not “get it.”
This can happen if they start learning and have major character faults and only spend time learning “halachah” (Torah Law) and “Gemora”. This is why it taught that “Derech Aretz” (proper character traits) must precede Torah learning. As learning only the technical laws of the Torah will not always improve one’s character. For the corrections of ones character traits we have teaching called the “Tanach” (Bible), “Agada”, “Midrash”, “Mussar”, Chassidut, Kaballah, and other Torah teachings.
We are like a adulteress wife to God , turning away and cheating when we turn aside from what we are supposed to be focused in our Divine service which is required of us by our marriage contract the Torah and instead are more occupied with which baseball, basketball or football team won the game and wasting hours on You Tube , thirsting for millions of dollars instead of “Ruach HaKodesh” (The Holy Spirit). Feeling very connected to the host country of our exile instead of living in Israel the Land that God ordered us to live in. When we take more concern for which sport team looses the game, what’s politically happening in the Holy Land.
Many fail to realize their true purpose in this world.
With this test the Jews will be tested during seventy (final) years of the last exile. A poor person will be considered like dead, and as if his soul was taken. The body, soul, and money are all considered equal, whatever is your favorite give it over in love for your Master. Then it will be as if for you the world was created. He that does not give over his soul, body, or money in love of his master in the time of need, it is as if he returned the world to chaos and void. He who gives over his soul, body, or money, in the time of need, in love of his master, he is certainly called the beloved of the master, there is no higher than him.
The Egyptians in the time of Yosef and Yaakov were vegetarians. Even more, sheep were seen by them as gods. for this reason they saw “shepherds” who raised cattle or sheep for consumption as a abomination. but they had no problem throwing the jewish babies in the nile.
Do not worship idols
by chasing after :
money, power, lust,
gluttony, evil speech,
baseless hatred, “bittul
torah”, wasteful
behavior, arrogance,
immodest dress, eating
unkosher or by having
thoughts that do not line
up with the torah’s
view,
A PEOPLE CAPTURED BY FOREIGN CULTURE, SPIRITUAL CAPTIVES. pEOPLE ACCUSTOM THEMSELVES TO EVIL . iT BECOMES SECOND NATURE tHEY CANT LEAVE IT. A CULTURE THAT “PREACHES” THERE IS NO ABSOLUTE GOOD OR EVIL- TAKES GOD OUT OF THE PICTURE
IT IS EASY FOR GOD TO
TAKE THE JEWS OUT OF EGYPT (EXILE) BUT IT IS NOT EASY TO TAKE EGYPT OUT OF THE JEWS. TO TAKE THE SLAVE MENTALITY OUT OF THE JEWS WHO LEFT EGYPT
IT TOOK ONE YEAR OF
PLAGUES AND 40 YEARS
WONDERING IN THE DESERT ANDTHEN DEATH. hOW CAN PEOPLE RETURN FROM THEIR PERSONAL EXILES WHEN THEY DON’T EVEN HAVE A QUESTION.
Small consciousness
or non God consciousness leaves us with the impression that the world is governed by a plurality of opposing forces. This gives rise to disorientation and confusion
THE SPIRITUAL WORLDS HIDDEN WE NEED TO MAKE THE UNCONSCIOUS CONSCIOUS, THAT WHICH IS HIDDEN REVEALED. tHIS TAKES US OUT OF THE EXILE AND INTO THE REAL REDEMPTION, DIVINE THOUGHT. Exile was part of the God’s plan for Yisrael. But it has its limits. The trick is to leave exile when its end come. The god signals this to us by increasing anti sematism. If excessive Jewish BLOOD flows in exile this showS the jewS stayed in that exile too long ! As the anti sematism is gods’s way of saying its time to move to the holy land ! Know, even when jews observe god’s commandments in exile the “sitra achra” (other side) takes its portion through the angel over the exile country. When the people of the exile country become morally and intellectually corrupt, and its jews spiritualy weAk from not observing the commandmentS
the “sitra achra” becomes strong and God forbid the exile community is in danger. as the “sitra achra” will use the corrupted souls to do its bidding.
Know, when evil is rampant by weak morality suffering may be coming to the world. The sages warn of this when they say : “all punishment comes to the world because of the Jewish people” (yavamot 53a)
Here are a couple more interesting thoughts. The sages say that until the time of Yaakov people were always healthy and never fell ill. When it waS time for them to die they would sneeze and their soul would go out from them. For this reason we always say “God bless you when people sneeze” We say “la Chym” when we drink because the “Bait din” would give alcohol before imposing the death penalty, so we say this drink should be for life and not death !
He that does not give over his soul, body, or money in love of his master in the time of need, it is as if he returned the world to chaos and void. ( In a other version) He who gives over his soul, body, or money, in the time of need, in love of his master, he is certainly called the beloved of the master, and in that world there is no higher than him. (Tikunim)
EZRA the Prophet and the Anshe’ Knesseth haGadolah (men of the Great Assembly) CURSED the sages who lived in Bavel and did not go back to” Eretz Israel”. They called them “Stupid Babylonians”, בבלאי טפשאי. This expression is repeated MANY TIMES, all over the Talmud. Many use these sages as a excuse for not moving to Israel , NOT SO FAST !
ALSO
“Resh Lakish was swimming in the Jordan River. Raba bar bar Chana came up to Israel from Bavel to learn Torah and offered his hand to Resh Lakish to help him get out of the water. Resh Lakish said to him: “I swear that I hate you, Jews of Bavel”. Rashi there explains “all the Jews of Bavel who did not come back from Bavel with Ezra, and prevented the Shechina from coming upon the Second Beth HaMiqdash, as it is written in Shir HaShirim 8:9: “If she is like a wall, I’ll build for her a castle of silver; if like a door a closure of cedar”, that is if you had made yourselves ; like a wall, had come all together at the time of Ezra, you’d have been like silver, that rust and rot do not touch; but now that you came up like doors, you are similar to a cedar, that rot rules on it” (Gemora Yoma p.9)
Resh Lakish would not curse another Jew, actually all the sages of Bavel, because of a minor thing, but because they REFUSED A FUNDAMENTAL OF TORAH THUS ENDANGERING ALL OF ‘AM ISRAEL !
“The “Mitzvah” of living in “Eretz Israel” is a”Mitzvah” encompassing all of the “Mitzvah” of the Torah” (Sifre Parsha Rae 12:29)
“One should rather live in a city in The Land of Israel where all are idol worshippers than in a city outside of it where the majority are righteous Jews.” (Ketuboth 110 )
Rabbi Yaakov Emden sums this all up well “When it seems to us in our present and peaceful existence, outside the Land of Israel, that we have found another The Land of Israel and Yerushalaim (Jerusalem), that is to me the greatest, deepest, most obvious, and direct CAUSE of all the awesome, frightening, monstrous, unimaginable destructions that we have experienced in the Diaspora“.
The Kli Yakar said Yitschak Avinu was not allowed to leave The Land of Israel because here the Shechina resides, not outside Erets Israel; because the lands outside of The Land of Israel are called “ארצות הטֻמְאָה”, “the lands of impurity”…and have the “halakhic” standing of a cemetery…
“In all times, a Jew is forbidden to leave The Land of Israel for Chuts LaArets (outside the land); except to study Torah, or to marry or to rescue Jews from gentiles, and then he must return to the Land. One is also permitted to leave temporarily for business, but to dwell outside of the Land of Israel is forbidden, unless there is a severe famine there.” (RaMba”M, Laws of Kings, 5:9)
Living in the Land The Land of Israel is not a matter of personal choice. It is the underlying basis of Torah (Rambam Sefer HaMitzvot, positive commandment 153)
“The Mitzvah of living in The Land of Israel is a Mitsvah encompassing all of the Mitsvot of the Torha`“(Ohr HaChaim on Devarim 30:20)
If you detach yourself from the centrality of the land of Israel you have no portion in the God of Israel. (Brachot 63a and 63b)
The Shechinàh (Divine Presence) does not reveal Herself in “chutz laAretz” (LANDS OUTSIDE ISRAEL) –( The Mechilta, Parashat Bo)
The Shechinàh did not talk to Avraham until he was in the land of Israel (Midrash Tanchumah)
In the Exodus from Egypt 80% of the Jews did not want to leave the fleshpots of Egypt and perished in the Plague of Darkness—– ——————————– LOOKS LIKE NOT MUCH HAS CHANGED !
The sin of the spies was the rejection of “Aretz Yisrael” –The sin of the spies was a sin much worse than the sin of the golden calf. For the latter only three thousand people were punished, while for the sin of the spies the entire generation was punished and perished in the wilderness. That great sin was not only among the masses, but also and foremost among the leaders of the generation.”
We can see how important this matter of living in The Land of Israel is. This “Klipah” (evil shell) attacks even the biggest Tzaddikim (righteous men) to negate the great thing, the settlement of Israel. For the whole power of the “Klipah” is in the existence of the “Galut” (exile). With the cessation of the Galut, the “Klipah” comes to an end !

UPDATED APRIL 28 2015
Rabbi Acha was walking with Rabbi Yehuda on the way. As they were walking, Rabbi Yehuda said it is written, “The virgin of Isreal is fallen; she shall no more rise” (Amos 5:2). I came to Rabbi Shimon with a darkened face. He said to me, from the look on your face what is in your heart is seen. I said to him, indeed my mouth and heart speak the same. He said to me, speak up. I said to him, it is written, “The virgin of Isreal is fallen; she shall no more rise.” So if a man who is angry with his wife and she goes away, she will never go back to him. If so, woe to the children who are exiled with her. He said to me, is what the friends said about this not sufficient to you? I said, I have heard what they say, and it is graceful. But my mind is not yet clear about it.
He said to me, woe to the generation where there are no shepherds, and the flock wanders and goes without knowing whither, neither right nor left. Assuredly this verse needs to be familiar, and everything is revealed to those who look through the way of the Torah in a true way. Come and see: For all the exiles of Isreal, He set a time and limit to them all.
God set a limit to the time period of all the exiles of the Jews, except the last. Concerning the first exile of the Hebrews. The Egyptian exile had been foretold to Abraham at the famous Covenant Between the Pieces (Genesis 15:13). “And God said to Avram: You must surely know that your offspring will sojourn in a foreign land; they will enslave them and hurt them for four-hundred years.” Ultimately, the Egyptians went “above and beyond the call of duty” in their fulfilment of “they will enslave and hurt them.” – “They embittered their lives with strenuous work (Shemos/Exodus 1:14). In the end, the Jews were in Egypt for only 210 years. It was the intensity of their subjugation that facilitated their premature emancipation.
Jeremiah prophesied the 70-year exile of Babylon, the first temple exile. (Jeremiah 25:1)
In them all, they turned to the Holy One, blessed be He, and the virgin of Isreal, returned to her place in the time decreed. On the last exile, it is not so, for she will not return as in the times of the other exiles. This verse teaches this, for it is written, “The virgin of Isreal is fallen; she shall no more rise” and not written, ‘is fallen; I shall no more raise her’.
There is an allegory of a king who was angry with the queen and cast her away from her palace for a certain time. At the appointed time, the queen immediately returned and came before the king. It happened so once, twice, thrice. On the last time, she went far away from the king’s palace and the king cast her from his palace for a long time. The king said, This time is different than other times. She will not come to me but I shall go together with all the retinue of my palace and seek her.
When he reached her, he saw her lying in the dust. Who has ever seen the glory of the queen at that time and the entreaties of the king before her? Eventually the king held her in his hands, raised her and brought her to his palace and swore to her that he would never separate from her again, nor stay away from her.
The Holy One, blessed be He, will do likewise. Whenever the Community of Isreal was in exile, when the time came, she returned and came before the King. But in this exile, the Holy One, blessed be He, Himself will hold her hands, raise her, reconcile Himself to her and bring her to His palace. Come and see: It is indeed so as written, “The virgin of Isreal is fallen; she shall no more rise” BY HERSELF. Therefore, it is written, “On that day I will raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen” (Amos 9:11). She will no more rise as in other times, but I shall raise her, SHE WILL NOT RISE OF HERSELF. This is why it is written, “On that day I will raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen.” I will raise up the tabernacle of David. What is the tabernacle of David? It is the virgin of Isreal “that is fallen,” as in the words: “is fallen.” It is to the glory of the virgin of Isreal and to her praise THAT SHE WILL NO MORE RISE OF HERSELF, BUT THE HOLY ONE, BLESSED BE HE, WILL RAISE HER. I have learned this at that time.
Rabbi Yehuda said, Surely you have persuaded me and it agrees with me. This is the explanation of this matter. This agrees with another explanation, which I have heard but forgotten, but now I have regained it. We learned what Rabbi Yosi said that the Holy One, blessed be He, will proclaim about the Community of Isreal saying, “Shake yourself from the dust; arise, and sit down, O Jerusalem” (Isaiah 52:2); namely, like one holding his friend’s hand, saying, Shake yourself and rise. So will the Holy One, blessed be He, hold her and say, Shake yourself, arise.
Rabbi Acha said to him: All the retinue of the King’s palace started also TO SPEAK TO HER in this language: “Arise, shine; for your light is come” (Isaiah 60:1), for the King is here. Surely then, when the King makes peace with her, it is her glory and the joy of everyone. On every occasion, she came before the King and rose before Him, as written, “And she came into the king’s presence, and stood before the king” (I Kings 1:28). This time it is not so, but the King will come to her and placate her and return her to His palace. Hence, it is written, “Behold, your king comes to you” (Zecharyah 9:9) and not you to him. He “comes to you” to pacify you and to raise you. He comes to you to perfect you in everything and He comes to you to raise you to His palace and join you in a CONSTANT everlasting union, as written, “And I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness” (Hosea 2:22).
This is referring to the ultimate redemption.
Exile is like widowhood, as in exile the Divine Presence must exist without her Husband (God). The Shechinah, descends into the lower worlds in order to sustain them.
If the Shechinah ” the Jewish people”— were not be in exile— they would be found unworthy of union with the God in the Holy land and they would have to die as did their brethren when 2 Temples stood. Therefore, God preferred that the Shechinah remain in exile. Rather than many dying.
Concerning exile Babylonia corresponds to the head, as it is written: “ are the head of gold.” Media and Persia correspond to the two arms, Greece corresponds to the body, and Edom and Ishmael correspond to the two legs. This is why the latter two exiles are long. The final stages of the exile as “ heels of the Messiah,” at that time it will be necessary to elevate the Divine sparks that have fell to the lowest places called, the the feet.
In every generation a spark of the Messiah comes into the world. If the generation is worthy he is revealed as the Messiah. If not, he dies or is killed as a martyr, as happened to Rabbi Akiva in the time of Ben Koziva, and in many other cases we do not even know about.

[1] On December 17, 1862, General Ulysses Grant wrote to the Assistant Adjutant General of the US Army:
“I have long since believed that in spite of all the vigilance that can be infused into post commanders, the specie regulations of the Treasury Department have been violated, and that mostly by the Jews and other unprincipled traders. So well satisfied have I been of this that I instructed the commanding officer at Columbus to refuse all permits to Jews to come South, and I have frequently had them expelled from the department. But they come in with their carpet-sacks in spite of all that can be done to prevent it. The Jews seem to be a privileged class that can travel anywhere. They will land at any woodyard on the river and make their way through the country. If not permitted to buy cotton themselves, they will act as agents for someone else, who will be at a military post with a Treasury permit to receive cotton and pay for it in Treasury notes which the Jew will buy at an agreed rate, paying gold.”
Also, on December 17, 1862, General Ulysses S. Grant issued General Orders No. 11. This order banished all Jews from Tennessee’s western military.
General Orders No. 11 declared: “1. The Jews, as a class, violating every regulation of trade established by the Treasury Department, are hereby expelled from the Department.
“2. Within 24 hours from the receipt of this order by Post Commanders, they will see that all of this class of people are furnished with passes required to leave, and anyone returning after such notification, will be arrested and held in confinement until an opportunity occurs of sending them out as prisoners, unless furnished with permits from these headquarters.
“3. No permits will be given these people to visit headquarters for the purpose of making personal application for trade permits.
“By order of Major Gen. Grant.

Assistant Adjutant General”

A mitzvah is a vessel for the love of Hashem. A pitcher holds water so has an intrinsic beauty to its form, yet with ornate engravings it becomes something to behold. If this thing is a mitzvah that has become beautified it is truly something to love. Each person needs to express themselves with in the mitzvot with the uniqueness of their Nashama, this is to discover ourselves, and Hashem’s great source of light within each of us.
It is a time to manifest עזות הקושה (brazenness of Holiness) against the “sitra achra” (other side). By this is the perfection of the mitzvot. It is by this that we become Holy, which means separate. Each of us establishing our own personal relationship with Hashem. As it say in Leviticus “sanctify yourselves and be holy “. This being sanctification in the permitted or separation. Such as cutting the bread slightly before blessing or doing a “Tynet debor” (fast of speech). Not speaking is equal to many fasts of food. It is the uniqueness of the individual that makes the ultimate fixing for the creation. It is this individuality that is the complete fixing against the exile of Edom. As they want conformity, a lack of individuality , every one to conform to a certain standardization. As taught by Rabbi Kahana in Pesicta Edom the offspring of Yavan (Greek values) tries to push Yisrael off the Torah path to conform to its values ” be like every one else “. The perfection of the commandments defeats the darkness of exile. It is this dedication that is required. Now lets look specifically at how the klipa (evil) of Yavan Edom attacks.
In the era of Chanukah the Greeks made laws forbidding observance the Rosh Chodesh (new moon), Shabot ,and circumcision . Chodesh being sanctification in time, Shabot being sanctification in spirituality through action, and circumcision sanctification in the most physical our bodies. It is these institutions that Yavan chose to strike at as they are at the root of our service to Hashem. by observance of rosh chodesh we make known our time belongs to Hashem. With shabbot we realize the spiritual impact of our actions which we might have thought were in consequential, such as turning on a light. While the circumcision Yavan fought against actually represents the sanctification of Hashem with our bodies. That the most physical things we are involved in should be dedicated to divine will.

All the supernal forces that govern the various countries and cities of our world are brought to light by the Zohar. Abraham masters the knowledge concerning all these diverse metaphysical intelligences that rule and administer over the cosmos. However, the Creator tells him not to direct his mind towards these supernal matters. Rather, Abraham should focus upon his spiritual work in this physical realm, placing his trust in the Creator regarding the workings of the metaphysical dimension. Spirituality is to make the world a better place where the God is more revealed. It is not a escape from this world, though one receives great delight from this spiritual work, and it gives one more joy and pleasure in all that they do !
The great sage Hillel, who was asked to reveal all the supernal mysteries and secrets of the Torah in the short time that he can remain standing on one leg. “Love thy neighbor as thyself. All the rest is commentary. Now and go and learn,” the sage replied. From this attitude we begin our “spiritual work”, It is the true beginning. With out this one will have nothing.
“Now Hashem said to Abram, Get you out ” According to Rabbi Elazar go out for yourself, to fulfill yourself and complete your grade. “Get you out,” for you must not stay here among the wicked. The secret “Get you out” is that the Holy One, blessed be He, inspired Avraham with the spirit of wisdom. He knew how to judge the spirits of the civilized world. He observed them, weighed them in the scales, and knew how to connect them to the powers entrusted to govern the inhabited places on earth. When he reached the middle point of civilization, he weighed it in the scales, but could not reach any conclusion. He tried to see and to know what sort of power governed that place, but could not conceive it. He weighed a few more times before realizing that the whole world sprouts from that place and is established upon it. He observed carefully, and measured, so as to understand the subject, and concluded that the supernal force above it could not be measured, that it is deep and hidden, and that it does not resemble the different parts of the inhabited land. He watched attentively, weighed, and realized that the middle point of the inhabited world is the point from which the whole world moves out to all its corners. Similarly, he knew the power that now prevails over the point. all other powers that govern the corners of the world originate from that point and all energies hold to it.
From the Temple mount at the place called the Even stiyah (stone of drinking), called the foundation stone. Abraham later would bring Isaac to sacrifice, till God told Him not to. Here is where the “Dome of the rock” is. From here a Beam of supernal light descends from above to nourish and sustain the world both spiritually and physically.
Then “they went out with them from Ur Chasidim, to go to the land of Canaan.”
Abraham knew and checked all the governors and rulers of the world that had dominion over the entire civilized world. And he was examining all those who govern and rule over the directions of the world’s inhabited land, all those that have dominion over the stars and the constellations. Abraham was inquiring into the spiritual forces that propel the influences called astrology. The science of which he was the greatest master. By study of Astrology Avraham came to knowledge of the the spiritual forces that propel the influences called astrology, By this he came to Be aware of the one superpower over all God. He learned how they exercise their power over one another. In considering all the inhabited places in the world, he did well. But when he reached that place, he saw the force of the depths. And he could not withstand it.
As soon as the Holy One, blessed be He, noticed his awakening and his passion, He immediately revealed Himself to Avraham and said: “Get you out” in order to learn about and perfect yourself. Saying to Abraham “GET YOU OUT” means from that Wisdom with which he studied horoscopes, determined by watching and examining the moment, hour, and time of birth, and the planet and the sign under which one is born. The god was leading Abraham to much higher level of Divine knowledge
The verse, “And from your father’s house,” Never look upon your father’s house again, REFERRING TO CHARAN, Therefore, “Get you out” of this wisdom and this observance. The god was leading Abraham to much higher level of Divine knowledge
We always must be moving Higher, exploring new levels of Spirituality we have not seen or
worked with before. Renew Yourself !

A Holocaust could never happen in America , could it ?
History has a tendency to repeat it self. The Jews seem to get blamed for about anything that goes wrong. Here below is a little sampling of some of what I found when quickly looking at one forum on the net.
Think again :
Hitler didn’t kill six million Jews.
The Census, conducted just prior to the war showed only 2.5 million Jews in the country at the time………hmmmmm, they must have moved alot in during Lent that year?
It’s funny how they can keep knocking off those six million Jews, and still have so many Jews left over.
They must breed like rabbits.
He got away with killing 40 million people. Why are the jews supposed to be so much more important than anyone else?
it was physically impossibly
Ive had many jew friends and 2 Jewish girlfiends…for godsakes Im part Jewish…I know the Jewish “angst”
They OVERSTATE everything…but you will never ever hear it in the media.
My mother escaped Berlin and her aunt was Jewish
My grandfather was a Nazi by force.
Please do not believe the tripe.
This has nothing to do with religion, ethnicity or sexual orientation… And if you don’t get that by now, you are a tool…
Silverstein, Rockefeller, Rotschield,… All these people are whites, without religion… But Jews. Explain that one…
And no… It was techically impossible for the Germans to kill so many people as they are saying…
Yes they had concentration camps.. And yes, people died in those camps.. The same way the Japanese people were dying in Americas concentration camps..
The official account is simply impossible to be true.
In the week of the biggest crisis in US financial history since the Great Depression, it was revealed that not even a US and international disaster of this scale is more important than a Jewish holiday in a non-Jewish state.
The US government simply shut down.
Now, it’s revealed that the UK government will arrest an imprison anyone who dears question Jewish views:
most of the elite are jews…
why are the jews of israel such bad people? jews used to be nice.
Somehow they became arrogant but don’t worry bad behaviour always backfires to the perpetrators.
They are creating hate against their own nation.
Ask yourself why are they always punished by other nations.
Simply because off the mess they cause where they reside.
Look at what’s happening in the us. The economy will be completely wrecked and isn’t Frank and bernanke and all the vipers of the fed of jewish origin?
They conditioned americans with their movies to hate the islamic culture by brainwashing them with propaganda.
But when wall street crashes the game will be set because everybody knows that arabs are not running wall street jews are.
I don’t have anything against jews just the lying ones the vipers that use their intelligence to create injustice and wars.
Jew wailing wall actually Roman fort
They are not worshipping at their temple but the wall of an old Roman fort!
THE NATIONS OF THE WORLD ARE BANKRUPT TO JEW BANKERS – HERE IS THE PROOF
what the media rarely report are thousands of Chinese government-owned businesses going down the crapper or relocating to South and South East Asia. How can they continue whilst sustaining such massive losses? They have an open line of credit to the Jewish global banks that control the Yuan – same as everywhere else. China isn’t funding US debt – the Jew bankers are. China is merely a proxy for them. They want to see the US destroyed no matter what the cost. After all, it is still the most powerful white “gentile” nation.
Jewish Scholar – ‘Jewish
People’ Were Invented
By Jonathan Cook
Okay, to start off I have nothing against Jewish people.
But it concerns me that congress takes Jewish holidays off, normally it probably wouldn’t be a big deal to me but we are in the middle of a crisis, you know?
Considering that Jewish people are less then 2% of the population, why is it so important to take this holiday anyway?
Why not take Ramadan too while they’re at it?
Do they take Ramadan?
What’s the deal with that?
Certainly there can’t be that many Jewish people in congress that it would fall apart if only the Jewish members took this day off, would it?
Jewish Members of the 110th Congress (People of the Jewish faith comprise about 2% of the US population.)

UPDATED JULY 22 2014
PARSA Hiezeno
In the Parsha we are told God keeps us as the apple of his eye.
“He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye.”
The Zohar compares it to a doctor and his patient. Now in our exile Hashem uses many ways to heal us, of out disease. When asking what is this disease, we may look and learn from The Fredica rebbe He said that when a person gets engrossed in corporal tendencies , they can heaven forbid get to the point of being no more than a animal. what separates man from animal. Man has a goal in life.
Whoever thirsts for Torah study must aspire to climb higher and higher, for there are no limits in elevating oneself in the service of God. Elevate
your head with lofty aspirations in the Torah. Raise your head to new
aspirations” and l grow more and more.
Living in the land one is completely surrounded by Holiness. While outside of the Land, one is engrossed in something else.
The cause of the problem is the yatzer hora (evil inclination). Only Hashem has the cure He is who creates it. Concerning the cure.
We learn from Tefilot Ramcha’l that there is evil and good in the heart of man, but only truth is in the kidneys. From our Kidneys we can give power to Mashiach )The Messiah) and heal illness in Yisrael (state of consciousness). Sickness is caused by evil, but Hashem heals illness through “Arich Anpin” (High Mazel-Divine will) Who is “arich Apyim”. Who heals the illness and all its offshoots. Binna is the רופא (doctor). By our Teshuva (repentence ),the wound of אלהי”ם is returned to Z’a (source of Emotional soul called Ruach) Who gave this wound, and from יהו”ה which is Arich we are healed. They give advice from the side of יהו”ה . The thoughts of the Kidneys are נסתרות (hidden things). They spread out specifically Bina (Divine understanding, but only in times when power illuminates the eyes with Chuchmah.
Think about what has been written here.
When evil rules in the world ruach haKodesh (spirit of Holiness) leaves Yisrael (this is exile of the Shechinah), the kidneys dont advise, and the heart becomes as stone from the falsehood of the world. In such a time of darkness there is only “pilpul” (Way of learning Talmud-argumentative Torah) and difficulties in understanding. But when there does illuminate עליונים חיים (Supernal Life) which is the secret of י”ה illuminating from the gates of Gan Aden. Then there is given to the intellect for secrets of the Torah.1 This is healing, and hopefully the ultimate healing will result with the Mashiach revealed and the Temple Built

UPDATE AUGUST 7TH 2016
Parsha Massay
It is in this parsha the Levi are given 48 cities with land around each city. Six of these cities are to be cities of refuge for a accidental murderer to flee to and be safe from a blood avenger. The law of the accidental murderer who goes into exile is mentioned in parsha Massay, Mishpatim, Vaeschanan, Sefer Yehoshua describes how the remaining three cities were separated, in parsha Shoftim we are told that when we listen to God and deserve, our land to be expanded, three more cities of refuge will be added. Right on the heals of all this talk about murderers and killers is a warning not to spill blood on the land. We are then warned not to make the land “tami” (impure) as God resides in the land, because God dwells within the children of Yisrael.
The sages say these 3 additional cities will be added in the Messianic era. Why will we need more cities of refuge for accidental murders in the messianic era ?
Well lets talk about war, there is a common situation where 90% of the citizens of a country pose a terrible threat by supporting terrorists and they don’t hide their support of terrorists as they celebrate the killing of innocents by the terrorists by passing out candy on the street rejoicing in genocidal intentions after every terror attack !. They name streets and public squares after these mass murderers. In war they hide the “active” combatants among themselves. The only way to kill the enemy that is trying to kill you is to drop bombs that would destroy the entire country. Its war and war has casualties, “collateral damage”.. Innocent civilians even die in wars, unfortunately this always has been the way of the world. There is no way to avoid this. We can try to minimize the numbers but there will be “accidental” deaths. So there will need to be these cities of refuge for the “accidental murders”.
When we are dealing with a “milchemet mitzvah” (A obligatory war , a war to save Jewish lives in the land of Israel is one of them)- there is no room for talk of delay or “proper timing.” Even if the offensive will undoubtedly lead to many innocent deaths, one must act without the slightest hesitation lest “Chillul Hashem” results by our inaction. Rashi explains: “He who stands against Israel is as one who stands against the Almighty.”
The Rambam in Guide to the Perplexed understands the need of listing the names of all 42 places Yisrael camped in the desert so later generations might not come to think “That Isreal when they were in the desert were able to survive the 40 years because they were near cities, where men live” But as we can discern from the locations of the 40 places listed where Yisrael camped in the desert. It wound not have been possible for Yisrael to till and plant the land and to reap or feed on plants that were to be found there. The God had the 42 places Yisrael camped in the desert delineated in detail so we may clearly know that our survival in the desert those 40 years was only by miracles. It was NOT natural for the manna to always fall in those places. There were NO wells of water in those places….” This all was meant to emphasize the extent of the miracle of the existence of the Hebrews in the desert for the entire 40 years. The Ramban explains that the detail of the writing of the journeys of Yisrael in the desert was written in the Bible for a purpose which is SECRET which has not been revealed to us. Yisrael were originally traveling in the desert very fast as “ takes eleven days to travel from Horeb via Mt. Seir to Kadesh Barnea,” but they miraculously traversed this distance in three days.
One must go through many journeys. In our Parsha massay 42 journeys of Isreal in the desert are described. These journeys raise us from below to above. Raising all to Bina consciousness , revelation of our Nashama (soul of Divine intellect). To be more specific 42 aspects raising the Emotional soul , the “Ruach” to the Nashama and its guiding consciousness. It is by these journeys that we each face in our own live’s which are our “tikun” (fixing) so that we may enter a Divine state of consciousness called “Yisrael”. In these journeys we face many tests, these come to refine us. By this we may merit to not only have the consciousness called “Yisrael”, but to actually enter the Holy land and connect to the Infinite quality of God that is always dwelling upon the Land. It is a quality like Shabot which is manifest by the Divine name of (42) מ”ב of the world of Bria as explained in the books concerning the meditations of the Shabot.
It waa a great miracle making a dry rock into a source of fresh water in Refidim, the third location involving water on the Children of Yisrael’s journeys. the Torah tells us:
וַיַּחֲנוּ בִּרְפִידִם וְלֹא הָיָה שָׁם מַיִם לָעָם לִשְׁתּוֹת
They camped in Refidim, and there was no water for the people to drink. (verse14)
Here, in Refidim, is where Moshe hit the rock for the first time, producing water for the people. At Refididim is also where Yisrael fights Amalak. This source of water accompanied Israel for the next nearly 40 years.
“Water” is mentioned with three locations in the list of Israel’s 42 journeys in the Desert.. Each time, whether in Marah, Eilim, or Refidim, the water’s appearance was accompanied by a miracle.
- For they had departed from Rephidim, and had come to the desert of Sinai, and had camped in the wilderness; and there Israel camped before the mount.
- (Smot 19:2)
“Smot” (Exodus Chapter 17)
- And all the congregation of the people of Israel journeyed from the wilderness of Sin, after their journeys, according to the commandment of the Lord, and camped in Rephidim; and there was no water for the people to drink.
- Therefore the people complained to Moses, and said, Give us water that we may drink. And Moses said to them, Why do you strive with me? why do you tempt the Lord?
- And the people thirsted there for water; and the people murmured against Moses, and said, Why have you brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst?
- And Moses cried to the Lord, saying, What shall I do to this people? they be almost ready to stone me.
- And the Lord said to Moses, Go on before the people, and take with you of the elders of Israel; and your rod, with which you struck the river, take in your hand, and go.
- Behold, I will stand before you there upon the rock in Horeb; and you shall strike the rock, and water shall come out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.
- And he called the name of the place Massah, and Meribah, because of the chiding of the people of Israel, and because they tempted the Lord, saying, Is the Lord among us, or not?
- Then came Amalek, and fought with Israel in Rephidim.
- And Moses said to Joshua, Choose for us men, and go out, fight with Amalek; tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in my hand.
- So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek; and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.
- And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed; and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.
- But Moses’ hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat on it; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.
Refidim is the 11th Journey out of the 42 listed.
Here Moshe brings water from a Rock, and fights Amalak, and because of what happened here Moshe could not enter the Holy Land.
In reviewing all the places the tribes traveled after they left Egypt until encampment on the plains of Moab near the Jordan river of Jericho. We learn that Aharon died on the first day of the fifth month . Of all the people that die in the Torah, only the day of Aharon’s death is told to us. The Torah doesn’t tell us the day when Abraham or Sarah or Moshe or Miriam or anyone else died – only Aharon.
Like on Shabot in Aretz Yisrael light is revealed. In Aretz Yisrael light is revealed more because the garments vessels for light are more refined in Asiyah (the physical world) as their bodies are more sanctified in mitzvot than if dwelling outside the land. As Aretz Yisrael itself is as a “mikvah” (ritual bath) completely surrounding you. “Aretz” (land) is related to “ratzon” (will), receiving the yolk of heaven is the spiritual aspect of Aretz Yisrael.3 Those who walk in the ways of “avoda zara” (the way of GOD being strange to them). Then the way of GOD will not rest in their hearts.4 By transgression we can become defiled and separated from GOD and in need of cleansing. This cleansing is relative in degrees as we see in the parsha. With a sincere commitment for the sake of Heaven we can avoid much of the worst kind of defilement. Defilement of our intellects. As this God forbid can cloud over our understanding and shake our sincere commitment to Divine service in fulfilling the will of Heaven. In the beginning of parsha Masay are described forty two places of our journeys in the desert after leaving Egypt. The sages say these journeys are the idea of exile. Exiles are a separation from GOD. To prevent this we must not let our eyes lead us astray with foreign thoughts, but we must hold on to our firm sincere commitment. That’s why GOD told us to remove all the inhabitants of Cannan as it says in our parsha “But if you will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those whom you allow to remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall harass you in the land where you live”(33:55). So we must not delay but even now must remove the terrorists from around us and in our midst. And those who have been over come by foreign thoughts among Israel’s ruling clique who share both an affinity to foreign governments and, accordingly, an anti-Jewish agenda. The political candidates who habitually lie to voters, promising them a hard line against the terrorists. But once in office, they take more concern with the rights of the terrorists and their communities than protecting the citizens of Israel. The primary responsibility of a government is the protection of its citizens. These we must rid ourselves of. So that then our enemies will finally cease to exist with the arrival of out righteous Mashiach quickly in our days.
The eyes, ears, nose and mouth are 7 windows by which the soul ascends by 7 types of herbs. They all illuminate aspects of chuchmah. They are Nard which is Chesed of Chuchmah, Safron-Givurah, Calamus-Teferet, Cinnamon-Netzauch, Frankincence-Hod, Myrrh-Yesod, Aloes correspond to Malchut of Chuchmah. Herbs are conduits of angels Ofanim Chayot and Caruvim. Gold is something above, copper below and silver is in between filling the gap. Rabbi Avraham Abulafia teaches in Aor haSachel that Hashem chose Aravot (the heaven) of all the gilgullim (spheres) it is here He chose to set his כסא(thrown). Of all the stars of heaven he chose the sun, and from all the yesodot (elements) he chose fire. Of all metals He chose gold. Of all the trees He chose the Date palm tree, of all animals the Leviyaton, of birds the Eagle, of all beast the lion. The incense was unique, in that its forbidden to make compounding its ingredients for personal use. Even if one does not burn it. Do so carries a death penalty and this is one of the 36 things that cause a soul to be “cut off”.
There are eleven ingredients of the incense, eleven goat-skin
overhangings of the Tabernacle, and the eleven curses in parashat Ki Tavo these are the ten sefirot of nogah. With the klppa Noga the Divine life-force enlivening them cannot be absorbed within them, because the holy does not mix with the profane. Rather, it hovers over their heads, and shines onto them from there. Together they are thus regarded as eleven But with the ten holy sefirot this is not so. The Divine life-force that enlivens them is absorbed within them, and thus they are counted only as ten.
The oar Ha Chyim taught that “kayin” knew of the arms and feet of the earth. So he didn’t need to lay a hand on Abel to kill him. The four sides of the shechina (Divine presence) are according to the four flags of the “midbar”, and so are there four groups of Jews safardim, askanazim Catalonians and Italians. Cohen cooresponds to tohu, Levi to Vohu and Yisrael to chosech (darkness). All Yisrael nourish from a light that is so bright it appears as darkness. The lights are revealed by raising up sparks through mitzvot and acts of kindness. Then new lights decent from above to the nefesh ruach nashama chayah and Yachida (levels of the soul) to each man accordingly. The main rising of sparks is by “tikun” (fixing) of the central piller. “Avodat haKodesh” (Holy woorks) makes zivug of Teferet (Balence) in Malchut (revelation of Divine presence in the earth), and flows rachamim (mercy) to sweeten “din” (judgment). The Nefesh of the sadeek (Holy person) creates the world. According to the Yesod (Gateway of energy) of their Nashama there is eminated their cavana (intentions) on the world, and by this we say Hashem (God) rules. This is the manuchah (rest) of sadeekem. By this they will inherit olam Haba. As the way they live now is from the Histashalut (unfolding of energy) from the “great Shabot”. The nose of the Shechinah (Divine Presence) has in it 370 lights. These sweeten its givurot (forces of restriction). Then there is found manuchah (rest). 370 lights are 300 of the first 3 sefirot and 70 lights are the 70 midot of 10 sefirot each. Hashem has pleasure through “Avodat Yisreael” when when they do His will, He is with them in the 6 “midot” (attributes)of love, fear and the beautiful sparks in the praise of Hashem in “devecut” (cleaving). Count from the world of Bina which is “oneg” (delight) the 7 “midot” till Yesod, then Malchut is called “bat Sheva”. (Count the quality of your avoda, until being complete in all 7 attributes). From the service of sadeekem doing mitzvot (commandments) and misim tovim (good deeds) its like there is made “nachat ruach” (a joy of spirit). there is made a tikun in the “mesach” (the screen filtering the light) that descends dressing in a garment drawn from the rekia (firmament). The light from above “oar yosher” (light that comes down) dresses in the sparks rising from below called “oar chozir”(sparks of light returning to its source rising). Moshe increased praise for Yisrael, becouse of this they merited to receive the Torah. Even if they were in a place of tuma (impurity) that the angels were afraid to enter they went out with a high hand. Always the Shechinah is in the sin of her children dwelling in their tuma so all the year without doubt one needs to purify themselves with water of Rachamim (Mercy) from Ima (Divine mother) by the middle pillar יהו”ה, so you will be pure before Hashem. The oar ha chyim teaches the purpose of the various exiles is to gather isolated segments of sanctity scattered in various branches of the klippa (vessel of the other side of concielment). We learn from Rabbi Moshe Cordevero that exile is a lack of unification of the sefirot, causing a separation from “nanhaga” (divine providence). When there is not sanctified the name of Hashem but it is desecrated before the nations, heaven forbid, there dresses the spiritual supervisors of the nations upon the flow of divine light nourishing from it. This is the exile of the shechinah, but even in exile the light of noga (sparks) surrounds. This is ” I am exiled in your midst”. This is the secret of the ofanim, angels of asiyah (this physical world).
This world is full of all kinds of light you just have to get those sparks from all thing taking them from even from there captured place giving power to the “other side”. Raising them then up to the Holiness you shall then Rejoice in the Spirit of Holiness. We shall then all go from our “masay” (Journeys) of Exile to the Peace of complete redemption with our Messiah quickly in our days !

“There is no ignoramus who fears sin.
” There is no Torah without fear,
there is no fear without the Torah.
(Zohar Tikunim)
Keep far from Babylon, make sure your desire and the strivings yearnings of you heart are after the good, the Divine things. By these things your soul and the God becomes more revealed in this world. All the things you do see the Divine nature in them and have fun. Most of all you should be having fun working God, working the light making fixings in the world and invocations of the Divine. This is the Joy of your soul. By these things you will “see”.
The awe (fear) of God is reached by awareness from learning and Divine experience. This power of the soul is close to “emunah” (faith). The true nature of faith is that it is the light the surrounds “Chuchmah” (Wisdom-creativity). It is not a dogma, Faith “emuna” is a real power of the soul.
Be with the God and the God will be with you.
