Connection of the “Mishcon” (tabernacle) to Purim

Its the same story over and over again. GOD raises up Amalak (negative destructive force) when the Jews forget where GOD is , as Rabbi Kahana says in Pesicta. Amalak is the dog that bites them to remind them of Hashem. As when there is no where else to turn almost everyone returns to GOD with tefilla (prayer) with their heart. Tefila from ones heart is the opposite of Amalack as Yosef Yitzchak Shneerson explains that Amalak is the power opposite that of Teferet (balance and harmony). It creates situations so that one cannot turn to GOD with their heart. Now is the time of year we remember Amalak, and our victory over them during the time of Mordichy and Ester. In our parsha it written

“ This is the offering you shall take of them Gold, silver, brass, blue, purple, scarlet and linen”. On purim we read in the Magilla

“There were white, green, and blue, hangings, fastened with cords of fine linen and purple to silver rings and pillars of marble; the beds were of gold and silver, upon a pavement of alabaster, marble, mother of pearl, and precious stones.”

It is no coincidence that verses containing gold, silver, blue, purple and linen are mentioned in both places. This is to remind us that the triumph over Amalack, who is the manifestation of the essence of the negative spiritual force opposite Yisrael, is only by Torah. By absolute dedication to GOD in all things. Then GOD will enable us to do what is right. As the Jews did in the time of Mordichy and Ester, saying “We are with Mordichy and the Torah  or death”. At that time all the people decided to fast against the threat  Haman had made against the Jews so to push off its judgment. We were willing to Give our lives because of our belief in GOD . Easter instead of hiding her identity as a Jew from the King so to guard her own life stood up for her people. Putting the needs of the nation of Yisrael above her own.

This brings us back to our parsha Truma as the “Mishcon” (tabernacle) represents the spiritualisation of the worlds. The sages say that each component of the “Mishcon”  cooresponds to something in the spiritual worlds which manifest this world. Its boards are the Angels called Sarafim as stated in the Zohar. The rings that hold up the curtains are as the stars in the heavens. The 12 elements involved in construction of the “mishcon” coorespond to the 12 tribes, 12 constellations. Each parsha lists Linen-silver- gold- purple and blue. Silver is white which corresponds to the sefira keter and the level of the soul called Yechida. This is the dedication of our delight and will to the will of GOD . Linen can be dyed any color as the sefira Chuchmah is the color containing all colors corresponding to the soul level called Chayah. This is the dedication of our creative powers to Divine activities. Gold the Ar”i tells us corresponds to Binna, Which corresponds to Divine understanding and one’s Nashama. Their intellectual soul being dedicated to the search for GOD and using ones intellect in their Divine service. Purple is Teferet corresponding to our Ruach, emotional soul. We must be filled with love and fear over Divine will. And finally the Ar’i tells us that Blue corresponds to the Nefesh, our physical existence. We must use our bodies to only do that which GOD wants. With all these powers we can fulfill the verse.

“Make me a Mishcon and I will dwell in them”

As we make ourselves a Mishcon to GOD from the powers of our soul as shown above. Also there are 18 commands in the building of the mishcon corresponding to the 18 vertebrae in the spine of man which correspond to the 18 blessings of the Amida. When we make ourselves a Mishcon to GOD then the story of Purim, of Amalak will have reached its conclusion. As they will have no place to exist. By being nullified to Divine will with in ourselves our lives. Likewise will Amalak be nullifed outside also depending on our merit. Our success at nullifying Amalak’s powers of doubt and coldness to GOD in our Divine service. Then we shall see the Temple built, The glory of GOD revealed with the coming of The Messiah Quickly in our days.

“And YHV”H said to Moses, ‘Go in to Pharaoh, for I have hardened his heart…'” (Exudus 10:1).

Sometimes God takes away our free will.

Rabbi Yehuda opened the discussion, saying: “Happy is the people that know the joyful note; they shall walk, YHV”H, in the light of Your countenance” (Tehilim 89:16). How much should people walk in the ways of the Holy One, blessed be He, and observe the commandments of the Torah in order to merit the World to Come, and that they may be delivered from all Accusers above and below. For as there are Accusers in the world below, so there are Adversaries above whose functions are to ACCUSE people.

These Accusers are angels of judgment. They bring judgment so to direct us back to the right path and a means of refining us from evil we have done.

Those who observe the commandments of the Torah and walk the right path in fear of their Master, good Advocates are situated above them, as is written: “If there be an angel over him, an interpreter, one among a thousand…then He is gracious to him, and says, ‘Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom'” (Job 33:23). Therefore, fortunate is he who observes the commandments of the Torah.


THIS IS REFERRING TO IN THE OTHER WORLD

Rabbi Chiya said to him: If so, why is it necessary to have an angel to intercede for the person, seeing it is written: “For YHV”H will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being caught” (Proverbs 3:26). “YHV”H will guard you from all evil” (Psalms 121:7). For the Holy One, blessed be He, sees everything that a man does in the world, both good and evil. And so He says, “‘Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him?’ Says YHV”H” (Jeremiah 23:24).

So many times are we saved from calamity by these angels, and don’t know. From God nothing is hidden. From us a lot is concealed, so to preserve free will.

Rabbi Yehuda said: Certainly it is so. But it is written: “And touch his bone and his flesh” (Job 2:5), and “although you did move me against him to destroy him without cause” (Ibid. 3). This shows that permission was granted to the Other Side to accuse in worldly matters, and they should be given into his hands. All these things are to stay concealed before the Holy One, blessed be He, and you have no right to investigate them, because they are the statutes of the Holy One, blessed be He. Humans are not permitted to be particular about them except for those truly Righteous who know the secrets of the Torah and go in the way of wisdom to know these hidden things in the Torah.

Why “bad things” happen is not always easy to understand.

“Now there was a day…and the Adversary came also among them”

Rabbi Elazar begins by talking about Rosh Hashanah, Judgment Day.

This is the day the Bible refers to by “In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall you have a sabbath, a day of remembrance of blowing of horns, a holy gathering.”

He says there are messengers who are appointed by God to watch over the actions of people, and at Judgment Day these messengers accuse those whose actions were improper. When people sin, they weaken ELOHE”M (manifestation of God in nature), but when they perform good actions they give might and power to Him. Rabbi Elazar speaks about “The Adversary also came among them,” and recounts the conversation between God and Satan wherein God distracts Satan from his accusation of Yisrael, by asking him if he has considered His servant Job. Satan always requests justice from God. We read that Job was judged as he had judged Yisrael, since he had been one of Pharaoh’s advisors. The Satan was given permission to afflict Job’s bones and flesh, but not to kill him. We are told that God does not want to destroy the whole world on the word of the Accuser, since the Accuser’s desire is always to destroy. The discussion turns to “The end of all flesh” which is the Satan, and “the end of days” that is in Holiness. On Rosh Hashanah those who come before God with repentance deserve to be written on the side of Life; those who come with evil actions are written on the Other Side, which is Death. We are told then of the balance, where the world is half Life and half Death, and the actions of one Righteous man or one wicked person can tip the balance so that all the world is written to Life or Death. A person should not be set apart by himself because he can be noticed and accused from above. Job, who was set apart, and who was tested severely, did not even then join the Other Side. He should, however, have given a part of his sacrifice to the Other Side because then the Other Side would have removed himself from the Temple. The conclusion of this section is that God judged Job, giving him first good and then bad and then good again; thus it is proper for a person to know good and bad, and to return himself to good.

Rabbi Elazar opened the discussion, saying: “Now there was a day when the sons of Elohim came to present themselves before God, and the Adversary came also among them” (Job 1:6). “Now there was a day,” refers to Rosh Hashanah, the day that the Holy One, blessed be He, rises to judge the world. Similarly, “And it happened one day, that he came there” (II Kings 4:11). That day was the holy day of Rosh Hashanah.

“And the sons of Elohim came.” These are the appointed ministers whose mission in the world is to observe the actions of people. “To present themselves before God,” as is written: “And all the hosts of heaven standing by Him on His right hand and on His left” (I Kings 22:19). But in the passage: “To present themselves before God,” “The Adversary also came among them.” The word “also” adds to THE CHILDREN OF ELOHIM, because they all came to accuse, and THE ADVERSARY also joined them because he was the greatest slanderer of them all. As soon as the Holy One, blessed be He, saw that they all came to accuse, immediately, “And YHV”H said to the Adversary, ‘From where do you come?'” (Job 1:7) Did not the Holy One, blessed be He, know where he came from: Rather only to allow the matter to the wishes of the Satan, MEANING THAT WITH THESE WORDS HE GAVE HIM AN OPENING TO ACCUSE AS HE WISHES.

“YHV”H said to the Adversary, ‘Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him on earth…'” (Ibid. 8).

The Satan works for God being the Evil inclination in man, THE ADVERSARY, Accuser and prosecuter of the supernal court. Only with permission from God can he do anything. As we see here with Job “YHV”H said to the Adversary, ‘Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him on earth…'” (Ibid. 8).

The book of “Iyov” (Joab) was written prophetically by Moses (Bava Basra 14b). Iyov was born when Yisrael entered Egypt, and his suffering lasted for 1 year and started when he was seventy. After that he lived twice as long for another 140 years (Iyov 42:16) and died the year after we came out of Egypt.

When digging marble from the quarry at Oreston, England, in the 19th century, a startling discovery was made. This marble is finely grained and quite pure. The only defect is that here and there wide seams of clay wandered through the 400-million year old stone, sometimes giving way to partially-filled caverns. In one of the caverns, the fossil bones of three rhinoceroses was found, which were common in the area 65 million to 2 million years ago. The cave was 15 feet wide, 45 feet long, and lay 70 feet down. There were no stalactites, no stalagmites, and no indication that there had ever been an opening in the rock, and no indication on how the Rhino’s got there.

A horned lizard was found inside a block of stone, in New Mexico, in 1853. The stone was “so solid as to preclude the entrance of the smallest insect”. The lizard was sent to the Smithsonian Institute, where it died 2 days later.

Excavating for the Hartlepool waterworks in Durham England, in 1865, workmen accidentally freed a living toad from a block of magnesian limestone 25 feet down.

The cavity [in which the toad had been contained] was no larger than its body, and presented the appearance of being a cast of it. The toad’s eyes shone with unusual brilliancy, and it was full of vivacity on its liberation. It appeared, when first discovered, desirous to performs the process of respiration, but evidently experienced some difficulty, and the only sign of success consisted of a “barking” noise, which it continues to make invariably at present on being touched. The toad is in the possession of Mr. S. Horner, the president of the Natural History Society, and continues in as lively a state as when found. On a minute examination of its mouth is found to be completely closed, and the barking noise it makes proceeds from its nostrils. The claws of its fore feet are turned inwards, and its hind ones are of extraordinary length and unlike the present English toad… The toad, when first released, was of a pale colour and not readily distinguished from the stone, but shortly after its colour grew darke r until it became a fine olive brown.

The last of the pterodactyls (flying reptiles with leathery wings and long, toothy beaks) died about 100 million years ago, according to established scientific opinion. But in the experience of a number of startled French workmen, the last one died in the winter of 1856 in a partially complete railway tunnel between the St. Dizier and Nancy lines. In the h alf-light of the tunnel, something monstrous stumbled toward them out of a great boulder of Jurassic limestone they had just split open. It fluttered its wings, croaked, and died at their feet. The creature, whose wingspan was 10 feet 7 inches, had four legs joined by a membrane, like a bat. What should have been feet were long talons, and the mouth was arrayed with sharp teeth. The skin was like black leather, thick and oily. At the nearby town of Gray, the creature was immediately identified by a local student of paleontology as a pterodactyl. The rock stratum in which it had been found was consistent with the period when pterodactyls lived, and the limest one boulder that had imprisoned the winged reptile for millions of years was found to contain a cavity in the form of an exact mold of the creature’s body.

“The great problem for geological theories to explain is that amazing phenomenon, the mingling of the remains of animals of different species and climates, discovered in exhaustless quantities in the interior parts of the earth so that the exuviae of those genera which no longer exist at all, are found confusedly mixed together in the soils of the most northerly latitudes . . . The bones of those animals which can live only in the torrid zone are buried in the frozen soil of the polar regions.”[20]

All around the globe there are caves which are full of bones.  Many of these contain the remains of animals that would not have normally existed alongside each other.  One such cave, at Oreston, near Plymouth, England contained mammoths, rhinoceroses, bears, lions and reindeer.  Kent’s cave in nearby Torquay yielded, amongst another things, the bones of sabre-toothed tigers.

A cave near Settle, in West Yorkshire, contains the remains of the hippo, rhino, mammoth, bison, hyena and other animals.  They are buried under twelve feet of clay deposits and the cave is 1450 feet above sea level.  Charles Lyell speculated that:

“The hippopotami issued from North African rivers, such as the Nile, and swam northward in summer along the coasts of the Mediterranean, or even occasionally visited islands near the shore. Here and there they may have landed to graze or browse, tarrying awhile, and afterwards continuing their course northward.. to the Somme, Thames or Severn, making timely retreat to the south before the snow and ice set in.”[21]

Yet, according to his Theory of Uniformity we should be able to observe hippos doing the same thing today!  So, what could have caused hippo bones to be found deep inside English caves?  They may indeed have lived in England, but hippos are not known to climb mountains by choice.  They could have been hiding from the cataclysm, sharing the cave with terrified hyenas and bison.  Or their bodies, dismembered by a violent cataclysm, may have washed up there, as part of a concurrent great flood.  It is reasonable to say that these two ideas are more sound than hippos going on a summer holiday!

In China, near the village of Choukoutien, among the animals found in caves were a porcupine, tiger, woolly rhinoceros, camel, elephant, baboon, ostrich and a species of tortoise.  They are not of the same habitat – the bones have been somehow gathered up and dumped in the caves.[22] What forces of nature could do such a thing?

In Sicilian caves were found hippopotami, hyenas, lions, Megatherium, rabbits, bears and elephants.[23] On Kotelnoi Island, in the Arctic Circle above Siberia, where “neither shrubs, nor trees, nor bushes exist”, are found the bones of elephants, buffaloes, horses and rhinoceroses.[24] Similar evidence is available worldwide – proof of destruction at levels we dare not imagine to be possible.

Some say this is evidence of a recent poleshift

But this does not explain the living creatures encapsulated in stone.



IT COULD BE Worse

Anonymous declared “war” on the New York Stock Exchange this weekend and vowed to “erase” the NYSE from the Internet on Oct. 10 as the Occupy Wall Street protest entered its third week in New York City after a weekend that saw hundreds of protesters arrested during a planned march across the Brooklyn Bridge.

“On Oct. 10, NYSE shall be erased from the Internet. On Oct. 10, expect a day that will never, ever be forgotten,” intoned a computer-generated male voice common to many Anonymous videos, in a warning posted on TheAnonMessage YouTube channel (video below).

The AnonMessage channel has been used to post several Occupy Wall Street-related video messages since the protest against lax regulation of the financial sector and growing economic inequality began on Sept. 17. Those messages include Anonymous’ initial “official” video regarding Occupy Wall Street and a warning sent last week to the New York Police Department that threatened retaliation if “the brutality does not stop” against Occupy Wall Street protestors.

REMOVAL OF NEGATIVE ENERGY-RESIDUE OF SIN

Hi everybody,

I fell and fractured my arm last Shabot. I will tell you why.

Before the Shabbot in the Mikvah as the Ben Eash Chy recommends I made confession for sin under the water. But this time I went into great detail asking to purified from all that I had done wrong. That I should be “white as snow”. Well on Shabbot I got up in the middle of the night prayed till “Yestabach” as I usually do. The rain then stopped. I then ran as I normally do to the “Tefilah”(PRAYER). Right before the mikvah door I fell.

It comes to mind “be careful what you pray for for you may get it.”

I went home meditated and asked the God why this had happened, then I opened the bible at “random” to find the answer. This has been a practice of many sages. It read :

“I will extol you, YHV’H ; for you have lifted me up, and have not made my enemies rejoice over me. YHV’H ELOHAY, (this refers to accusers created above by sins) I cried to you, and you have healed me. YHV’H, you have brought up my soul from Sheol; you have kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit. (psalm 30)

It is known atonement comes through suffering as its written :

Rabbi Yuhuda Petiah writes the supernal told him

The Supernal court in its rulings is not trying to avenge the actions of the wicked, but only to cleanse the levels of the soul of the Just from sins. By which ever punishment will fix and purify them quickly, so they may then enter the Garden of Aden.” (Minchat Yehudah)

The trials of the righteous are explained in Midrash,2 where we are taught that God only tries the righteous because the more one beats flax the more it is improved and glistens as fine linen. He can not do so with a defective vessel as it will break. It is as the sages teach:3 that God tries the righteous, testing them before He confers greatness upon them. Rabbi Yitzchak further teaches us that when man comes to grief through sin and is liable to death by the hand of Heaven, atonement is made by his ox dying, his poultry being lost, his flask breaking, or by his falling and injuring his little finger. A drop of blood flows from it, and this part of his life is considered as the whole of it. These damages are not chance occurrences but the mercy of the Holy Blessed One. 4 Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai shows us that there is also great benefit in our hardships, as God delights in the soul but not in the body. He afflicts the body so that the soul may gain freedom. So we see physical suffering is only to remove a covering from the soul so that it may be more openly re­vealed.5

Spiritual success is commensurate with their efforts BUT in reality,  the way that a person prospers can transcend what they can intellectually grasp as success is closely related to what people refer to as “mazel” which some may translate as luck, but it really refers to Divine influence.  A person’s “mazel”  cannot be achieved through their own efforts alone, it comes from Heaven. This holds true with success in general.
