The Jewish attitude towards death and graves is not something based on unfounded superstition. Rather it is based on the Divine body of wisdom that conveys understanding concerning the ongoing connection between the dead, who’s soul has or is rising above and those who are still alive. Although everyone is aware the body disintegrates after death. We as Jews also “know” that man remains after death, because his soul lives on.

HERE IS THE PROOF:

THIS IS TRANSLATED FROM MY TEACHER’S TEACHER’S BOOK “MINCHAT YEHUDAH”– THIS DESCRIBES HIS WORK SAVING PEOPLE’S LIVES AND SAVING SOULS FROM PERIL.

In the year 1915 (5675) on the 15th of Ellul there came to me a young girl 17 years old named Katan Bat Azizah. She told me she was a orphan as her father had died. A year before her mother went to Persia to visit her brother there, as he was ill. She left me, my younger brother and sister with our aunt. My mom’s sister. She was angry very much consumed in anger and regrets. Katan found it difficult to handle her aunt’s anger and curses. She wanted to leave the house for good. As she was so troubled by her. To add to my troubles in Ellul after Shabot I cried and wailed on my bed with all my body concerning my bad fortune. Then all of a sudden I felt like a giant cat had fell between my shoulders, like a great cut had entered my flesh. After it felt as if it had entered my left arm. My arm became very heavy. To the point I was no longer able to move it. From that day my arm only hung down. I trembled at times and my eyes rolled up and down. My feet would move from side to side. At times I would walk back and forth and back and forth. When I layed down on my bed I was not able to sleep as I heard the sound of a hammer striking. When my mother returned we went together to a Arab mystic. After going to him many times he told us that I have a very strong demon within me. He tried but was unable to remove it from me. After this I want to the grave of Yuhoshua the Cohen Gadol (High priest) and prayed there a lot. I began to tremble greatly. I saw a man of great honor, dressed in white. I was unable to speak with my mouth. He stood about 4 feet from me he did not speak. Katan cried over her life, and the shattered heart in her midst.

To bring mercy upon her I did “yichudim” (meditations of Divine names) upon the spirit. The spirit then began to express thoughts in speech and screaming. The spirit said that she was a harlot. I asked her name. She did not want to say. After many times doing the yichudim on the 19th of kislev she finally said her name was Rosa. She told me that in the time she was dying the demon Lilly came to her. This caused her soul to be troubled very much. She said my soul wanted to escape from my body, before lilly could come close. Lilly put a sword to my throat. By this there went out my soul from my body. There then came to my soul 5 angels of rage. They stood by my head and asked “what is your name ?”. They had come to strike my body to purify it for 3 days and nights with rods of fire. Then there came another angel who I remember also appeared as a angel of rage. It was He who took my soul from its grave and struck it with a big hit, by this striking my soul was propelled in the “kaf hakeleh” (hallow of the sling) thrown until it reached the entrance of the supernal court in the firmament. I stood there naked as the day I was born. 2 angels came out from the supernal court. They gave me a shirt that was black and white, and another garment to cover below my waist. Then I was brought before the court. It was a court of 3 judges. The greatest of them sat in the middle. Their faces shinned as great as the sun. The court asked me what is the name of your father and mother. I did not want to answer them. Then the officers of the court struck me with lashes of remembrance, until I could endure no more. The first blow made me feel like a spark from a fire. The 2nd blow made me as a burning coal and the 3rd made me as dust. Then the court enlivened me and I told them my father and mother’s name. It was made known to me I had been incarnated in a man living in Basra (Iraq). He was evil and wicked and did not resist any lust and abomination he could do. In the end of his days he changed his religion and became a Muslem. After He died he was made into a evil spirit that entered into the body of a woman. All is revealed before the supernal court, even all that is hidden in one’s heart. There is nothing that is concealed from them.After they gave me a document, it was not like a document of this world. I opened it and it spoke to me. I read in it and I could speak to them. But I did not know what to say. The first judgement concerns the learning of Torah. This is seen by the one who is given the document but they are unable to read it. They are then asked why they did not learn Torah. According to one’s preparation from learning of Torah they are they able to read their “document” given to them by the Supernal court. In this “document” is listed all of one’s transgressions and abominations that they did while they were alive. You do not want to have to trouble the Court to have them read it to you !. The court will tell you what is not written there. Atonement comes from the embarrassment you will feel, if they have to read it to you. I told them that I has sex with some one man I was not married to. They asked me how many times during the 5 years of the relationship I did have sex. I said I did not know for certain 50 or 60 times. The head judge of the court answered and said it was 100 times. I explained to them I had done these things because it was the way I thought. They told me not to speak. To say nothing else. Then for 100 years I had to go with the angels of rage where ever they commanded me to walk. They warned me not to disobey, and not to change what they said. Then they returned me to the Supernal court to receive my judgement. They had me swear in the Great Name that I would not transgress upon what they say. They called 4 angels of rage and said these shall be over (in charge of you). One on each of the 4 sides (of the world). Then the angels took me to a scary desert full of snakes, scorpions, dogs and evil beasts of many different kinds. They were all spiritual (entities). All souls who pass this way tremble. In the desert I was given 27 lashes a day. They walked me in another desert which no eye has seen. I did not know how to walk there alone. They ruled that I had to chop wood. I was brought to another court. It was in the lower half of the Supernal firmament. In this court are ministers who are in charge of punishment. To then was given my accounting. The ministers in this 2nd court are different than those in the first. They made judgment concerning my punishment. Then they gave me to 4 angels of rage. They took me to the desert again and gave me 17 lashes every night. When I chopped wood it was like chopping my own flesh. The wood there is not like the wood of this world. All the time I was chopping wood it was opening up the flesh in my shoulder. If I ran out of wood I was under order of the supernal court to go back in to the desert and get more. The wood I cut I had to return to the court to burn. The angels of rage went with me. Each year after I finished my sentence of wood cutting as ordered by the Supernal court of the firmament. I then entered the 2nd court. There is a 3rd court in the atmosphere below the firmament where there is written the document as the years passed of my punishment, how many years were left for me. Any who come to this Supernal court have punishment and lashes. In all the days of the week these souls have no rest. Except on the 6th day of the week at the 6th hour. At that time we are bound in chains and there stands around us angels of rage who guard us till after the Sabbath has concluded. There are also winged angels who sit and tell each other concerning the works of the wicked. Their evil guile they worked while they are alive and the punishments that the supernal court has ruled upon them. Even on the Sabbath we have no joy. As then we remember our suffering that we endured during the past week, and we think about the punishments and suffering that are about to come upon us in the future as soon as the Sabbath is over. We feel a little relief when the Kadish (prayer for the dead) is said for us, but few know how to say it. All the souls here are naked as in the day they were born. Everywhere I look I see groups of souls who transgressed sexually. God does not embarrass the wicked before each other. There is a separate place for those who transgressed different transgressions. I was punished for my sexual activity. I do not know what is done in other places. Those here who are chained to dogs are incarnated next time as a dog. It was ruled concerning me that I should be in the place of evil beasts. After that I was sent for 7 years to swim at the beach. For 2 years I had to hover over the graves of the city where I was born Bagdad. Hovering over the graves of the dead is the worse suffering, as there rises up guilt and regrets. I saw my soul hovering over a grave screaming in a great voice. I was suffering greatly from the evil scent. It was ruled upon me that I had to fly in the atmosphere of the firmament at a hight of 40 years from the earth. Only to this height are the spirits flying above the earth. It is at this height that we receive judgment from the supernal court that is in the firmiment. When hovering over graves or the sea this is at a distance of 2 or 3 stories above the earth. We don’t have to strength to rise above to the next firmament. Height more than this is not ruled for us. If we were to go higher we would be burned by the fire of the firmiment. As we are not refined enough to go up to the higher level. It is ruled upon us that we must float around in the cities where we used to live. This troubles the spirit very much. When the angels of rage want to increase the burden of our yolk they rule that we must go to distant cities, this is much worse. Even if we are always running away from our angels of rage we can not get any further away than the limits to which they bind us with. If we try to they hit us with out holding back with the lashes of remembrance as prescribed by the supernal court, but not any more than that. The angels of rage do not have permission to stop us from doing evil. Such as damaging a man, or entering into him so to escape their lashes. Unless the supernal court has specifically ruled so.

If we do enter into a man or women. When the time comes that we are obligated to bring our wood to the supernal court to burn before them. Then administrator over the spirit takes it out by force from the animal or human whose body they have occupied. So to bring it to the supernal court. There it is burn and lashed. After he goes back to the animal or person. To us this offers no benefit, except escaping the lashes of the angels of rage.

The yichudim (meditations on the Divine names) causes more pain to the spirits than the lashes of the angels of rage, or the purification of the grave. The lashes from the angels of rage do not fix the souls, but the yichudim do.

I Rosa was only able to tell you all this because of the yichudim which I was unable to bare. So I had to answer your questions.

Rosa said when one has done many sins and evil they make their soul blemished and impure, by causing the negative forces to dress upon it. By this they can cause their soul to also parish from the world to come

The forces of evil have to them a Holy root, and need Holiness to survive. Impurity clings to man’s body because of its Holiness. When one is dead and burried and their bones dry out and the bodies decays, the impurity then detaches finally from the body.

Our parsha begins speaking concerning Aharon’s sons who went to far spiritually, and this resulted in their death. If someone is buried on the day his soul departs in the Holy land the spirit of impurity has no dominion over over him at all. All who die do so by the angel of death, except those who die in in Aretz Yisrael, who die by a angel of mercy. They ascend into “Kodesh Elyon”1 All buried in artz yisreal are as buried under the alter and are thus atoned for.2 When a gentile dies in “Aretz Yisrael” his Nashama is pushed out and forced to roam in many wanderings until they leave “Aretz Yisrael”, and reach the impure region where they belong. As they have not prepared themselves by Torah and mitzvot. One who lives outside “Aretz Yisrael” draws upon themselves a strange “ruach”,one of impurity.When they die if their body is brought to  “Aretz Yisrael” this is a abomination. They defile the land.3 The day of one’s death is called “יוםיהו”ה” (day of Hashem).4 When the Nashama goes out of its body it sees the face of the Shechinah. This “segulah” is specifically according to their actions while living, thus they merit to ”devacut” (cleaving to Hashem).5

Desire is in partnership with the flow of Divine abundance that comes to his vessels. Desire comes from Atzilut. It is flow of אלה”י (your go-d). By this he cleaves in the voices. There comes to him desire of love to be covered in the wings of the Shechinah, he recieves anything from Chuchmah Elyonah (supernal wisdom) So go in and ask for Chuchmah in great desire, desire of your nefesh. Ask so that you grow in comprehension unto all abilities. Preparations are necessary for Chuchmah (Divine wisdom) of Navua (prophesy). You must work for this day and night. From the tiva (desire) for Divine names. This is the cavana (intention). Choice love and desire. These are the general principles. The name of  Keter is to them all. It is the first cause close to thought that arrouses the movement to ask, arrouse will and thought. These are one thing and are not separated. רצון (will) rises up in all levels till reaching the level called חשק (desire) in all its completeness. חשק (desire) has no limit or end. It raises up thought from its beginning to completion. חשק is the end of all tiva (burning desire). It is a מופת (wonder). Devacut (cleaving) and חשק (desire) are one thing. One cleaves in חשק (desire). All this goes out from thought to actuality, then there is כח (power). The giving of חשק (desire) is a אות (spiritual sign) it is צבאו”תאלהי”םיהו”ה . Through this there will be a אות in our צבא (hosts). From the stones of the Cohain Gadol’s breast plate is חשק from the source of Binna. It is breath and חותם (a seal). חשק is אורעצום (essential light).6

Rise to the level of Navua (prophesy) by making a markava (chariot) to Teferet (divine harmony-balance). There are 3 levels of navua. First level is from chitzonim (the otherside). This is when one’s thoughts are not their own but those of the otherside. This level is tuma (impurity) as Billam and Lavan. They go into pardes (upper world) peek and  tread on the shoots and blemish there. They peek and die. There are those who go in peek tread on the shoots blemishing them and go out. One must be careful not to do this. 2nd is returning to the land. Then one can begin eating the herbs of the field. All the prayers of man his actions and tikun are accepted through this herb and there is accepted all that they do below. As it is invited from above. So it rises above. Behold the secret of the 72 names. They are the secret of the hachalot. All of them open to man according to judgment on his actions. There are many kinds of herbs and fruits. They are one level upon another. Till the upper navua. With the herb of the field they can enter in peace and go out in peace.  This is secret of the Nefesh. There is a level above this. It is the supernal bread of Binna. This is secret of the Ruach (spirit). This is Hidden in the sefirot. In the shadow of Yisrael is nourished Sucat shalom for us. This is as it is said “By the sweat of your brow you will eat your bread”. A level above this is Trumah (holy portion) it is of Nashama. This is the secret of navua braking forth, until the navua of Moshe. 7

Is rather Amazing.

Dr. Michael Sabom is a cardiologist made a detailed medical and scientific analysis of an amazing near-death experience of a woman named Pam Reynolds. She underwent a rare operation to remove a giant basilar artery aneurysm in her brain that threatened her life. The size and location of the aneurysm, however, precluded its safe removal using the standard neuro-surgical techniques. She was referred to a doctor who had pioneered a daring surgical procedure known as hypothermic cardiac arrest. It allowed Pam’s aneurysm to be excised with a reasonable chance of success. This operation, nicknamed “standstill” by the doctors who perform it, required that Pam’s body temperature be lowered to 60 degrees, her heartbeat and breathing stopped, her brain waves flattened, and the blood drained from her head. In everyday terms, she was put to death. After removing the aneurysm, she was restored to life. During the time that Pam was in standstill, she experienced a NDE. Her remarkably detailed veridical out-of-body observations during her surgery were later verified to be very accurate. This case is considered to be one of the strongest cases of veridical evidence in NDE research because of her ability to describe the unique surgical instruments and procedures used and her ability to describe in detail these events while she was clinically and brain dead.

For practical purposes outside the world of academic debate, three clinical tests commonly determine brain death. First, a standard electroencephalogram, or EEG, measures brain-wave activity. A “flat” EEG denotes non-function of the cerebral cortex – the outer shell of the cerebrum. Second, auditory evoked potentials, similar to those [clicks] elicited by the ear speakers in Pam’s surgery, measure brain-stem viability. Absence of these potentials indicates non-function of the brain stem. And third, documentation of no blood flow to the brain is a marker for a generalized absence of brain function.

But during “standstill”, Pam’s brain was found “dead” by all three clinical tests – her electroencephalogram was silent, her brain-stem response was absent, and no blood flowed through her brain. Interestingly, while in this state, she encountered the “deepest” NDE of all Atlanta Study participants.

At the time as the neurosurgeon began to operate on the head of Pam Reynolds, the cardiothoracic surgeon, a Dr Murray, began an operation to insert the tubing of the cardiac bypass machine into the blood vessels in her groin. Cardiac bypass applied via tubing inserted into the blood vessels of the groin is a standard technique, and part of the procedure of hypothermic cardiac arrest. Blood is pumped out of the body, passes through a heat exchanger circuit in the cardiac bypass machine, is cooled, and pumped back into the body. This makes it possible to efficiently cool the whole body, as well as pump blood around the body when the heart eventually stops beating due to cooling of the body.

The body of Pam Reynolds was eventually cooled to about 60 degrees Fahrenheit (15.5 degrees Centigrade), the circulation of blood in her body was stopped, and the aneurysm was successfully operated. At this temperature, the metabolism of the brain and the heart is lowered to such a degree that the circulation can safely be stopped for about 45-60 minutes without causing any brain or other tissue damage. Subsequent to successfully operating on the aneurysm, the cardiac bypass machine was restarted, and used to restore her body temperature back to the normal 37 degrees Centigrade. Normal heart action was restored, the cardiac bypass tubing removed, and all the operation wounds were closed.

Beyond Death

Why is the parsha “Chayah Sara” (the life of Sarah) where Sarah died ?. Why is our parsha called “vayachi” (and lived) when in the parsha Yisrael passed away. Because it is as is said a sadeek is more alive when he has departed from his body, then when he has a body in this world. As it says in Perke Avot this world is just a corridor leading to the inner chamber. As only in this world does one have the opportunity to gather provisions for the other world. Provisions they will take with them when they meet their creator on the day of great reckoning as spoken of by Rebenu Bachyah.

In the Zohar HaKodesh we see that one is aware of things near the time of their passing more than at other times. We see this reflected in the parsha as it says “ It was told Yaakov that Yosef was coming into his chamber. Who told him ?, maybe this was by Ruach ha Kodesh. We also see this from the verse ”And Jacob called to his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days.” One does have a higher awareness at the time of their passing. Yet the same verse concludes “Yisrael strengthened himself and sat up on his bed.” It is know that Yisrael is the name referred to Yaakov when he comes to a state of consciousness which is like Shabot, when he has minuchah (rest) from feelings of all anger and pain, but exists in a state of serenity as is tought by the Aor ha Chyim. In this one sentence where Yisrael speaks he goes from being Yaakov to Yisrael. As is mentioned before a person has a higher awareness at the time of their passing. How blessed is the passing of those who have prepared themselves to see the Shechinah. As this has been the only object of their life. Rabbi Snair Zalman said when the Russians put a gun to his head threatening him “ I have one God and 2 worlds”.

The aspect of Yaakov called Yisrael is when He is at the level of not serving Hashem from emotions alone, but also with Divine intellect called Nashama. This is truly a thing beyond this world. This level of consciousness Allows one to live beyond the ways of this world. One who has attained this level called “Yisrael” lives in the  upper worlds while still in this world, and continues after this life thus. His passing in “death” is as going from one room to the next. Or as the Gemora describes it that the passing of the righteous is like lifting a hair up that is floating on a cup of milk. While the passing of the wicked is like the removal of a hair from a course brush. As all they knew in life was this world, their body and its desires. One who has spiritual desires and actions while in this world continues with these in the life in the next world so its said in the Gemora “Yaakov did not die “. Not everyone is as fortunate as Yaakov in their passing.

There are wicked people who do not merit entering Gehenom immediately after their death. To them is applied the verse “ He will fling away the lives of your enemies in the hollow of the sling.” in order to be cleansed of their sins to a degree so they can enter Gehenom. There is no set time for these cases. Sometimes a soul can be in this state for twenty years, or a hundred, or a thousands depending upon the seriousness of the sins. Understand the purifications inflicted upon the soul while still in the grave (chibut HaKever). The reason being that the klipah (spiritual impurity) is still attached to the soul. After a person is dead and buried, immediately there come four angels, who (spiritually) open up the grave and expand it to be the exact size and depth of the person buried therein. The soul and body are rejoined. The soul returns to the body like when it was alive. Each of the angels then grabs the soul from every angle, and beat him until the klipah has been broken and removed from the soul. Therefore is this called chibut HaKever (literally, the beating within the grave). Righteous people who keep distant from evil don’t need as much of chibut HaKever. After the Chibut HaKever, the four angels depart and leave the soul standing by the grave. Immediately thereafter comes another angel, powerful and cruel and very frightening. He grabs the soul and puts it through the Kaf HaKelah (literally, the hollow of a sling – this is the name given to that transformation period between the physical and the spiritual). The soul is thrown up to the outer gates of the Supernal court (Beit Din).

Next Yisrael blesses Yosef, but before he does he says concerning Yosef’s sons מי אלה (who are these ?). These are the same letters as Elohem”e. It is a permutation of the letters of Elohem”e . Concerning מ”י the Sni Luchot ha Brit says that this name is the source of the Divine name Elohem”e. The Zohar tells us אל”ה refers to all created things. Thus Yisrael when seeing Yosef’s sons says מי אלה. Meaning that Yisreal when seeing Yosef’s sons designates them as being closely attached to the root of the creation in Elohem”e. As it will be through nature that Mashiach ben Yosef shall and may it be soon prepare the Jewish people by uniting them as a nation to contend with the natural enemy of Mashiach ben Yosef, Asev. By this we will be ready for the coming of Mashiach ben David, and may this be soon. Since the coming of Mashiach ben Yosef precedes that of the coming of Mashiach ben David. Yosef is blessed first. It says in Thilim “Who leads Yosef like a flock”. The sages learn from this that all Yisrael is called Yosef. Yisrael blesses Yosef saying “ The angel who redeemed me from all evil shall bless the lads”. By this blessing all Yisrael is redeemed from all evil, as shown before that all Yisrael is referred to as Yosef. So may it be that soon we see this blessing fulfilled with the revelation of mashiach Ben Yosef destroying our enemies and the arrival of Mashiach ben David and the build of the Holy Temple quickly in our days.

Meaning that Yisreal when seeing Yosef’s sons designates them as being closely attached to the root of the creation in Elohem”e. As it will be through nature that Mashiach ben Yosef shall and may it be soon prepare the Jewish people by uniting them as a nation to contend with the natural enemy of Mashiach ben Yosef, Asev. By this we will be ready for the coming of Mashiach ben David, and may this be soon. Since the coming of Mashiach ben Yosef precedes that of the coming of Mashiach ben David. Yosef is blessed first. It says in Thilim “Who leads Yosef like a flock”. The sages learn from this that all Yisrael is called Yosef. Yisrael blesses Yosef saying “ The angel who redeemed me from all evil shall bless the lads”. By this blessing all Yisrael is redeemed from all evil, as shown before that all Yisrael is referred to as Yosef. So may is be that soon we see this blessing fulfilled with the revelation of mashiach Ben Yosef destroying our enemies and the arrival of Mashiach ben David and the build of the Holy Temple quickly in our days.



Death, Passing and the After life

During sleep and upon death of a righteous individual, the soul travels a certain course as it ascends to the Upper Worlds. Many visions of the future are seen when one is asleep dreaming but they need to be remembered on waking and are usually obscure and need an explanation

Sleep is 1/60 of death

If the soul is righteous, it is welcomed to the Upper Worlds by the Patriarchs, specifically Yaakov. When an individual strives to understand his purpose in life and seeks the truth of the Creator, his soul will seek to reunite with the Light of the Creator upon leaving this world.

Unfortunately, the vast majority of mankind journeys through this physical world without any inkling of his true purpose, or understanding as to the meaning of his existence. Consequently, a man who directs no effort towards spiritual enlightenment and blindly pursues the material world, will automatically seek the path of negativity when it departs its physical existence. The paths of the spiritual world mirror the pathways we forge in the physical world.

If one seeks the light and acts for it in this world they are taken by it, and to it when they transcend this world.

The return of the soul to its original source is vital. It is through this process that the Creator absorbs the souls, which allows them to be born anew each morning.

One is in a certain sense is a new creation when they wake up each morning. Their soul is renewed by the God when they sleep.

This otherworldly journey occurs each night, whether or not we are cognizant of it. An individual’s degree of awareness, however, and their personal level of spirituality [righteousness] determines the particular course the soul travels and the heights it can attain. The higher the soul ascends is directly proportionate to the measure of Light it receives.

 

This portion awakens a deeper awareness of the Light our soul can achieve if it is righteous, as well as the ability to ascend to greater heights and receive greater revelations of spiritual energy during sleep.

ZOHAR LIGHTS

Rabbi Aba opened the discussion with the text: “Who shall ascend into the mountain of Yhv”h ? Or who shall stand in His holy place?” (Tehilim 24:3). Come and behold: no man is aware of the reason for his existence in the world. As the days pass by they rise up and stand before the Holy One as they were all created. How do we know that they were created? Because it is written: “The days were created” (Psalms 13 9:16).


And when the days depart from this world, they all approach the Supernal King. When a person is in this world, and he is not aware of nor does he look for the reason he was created. For him, every day is considered as if it passes by in emptiness. And when the soul leaves this world, it does not recognize the path through which it is elevated, because the path that leads up, to the place where the luminous sublime souls shine, WHICH IS THE GARDEN OF EDEN, is not shown to all souls. After it departs from him, the soul follows the same way that person followed while in this world. Come and behold: if a person is drawn after the Holy Oneand longs for the light while in this world, then later, when he departs from this world, he also follows THE HOLY ONE. And he is shown a path to climb that rises upward TO THE PLACE WHERE SOULS SHINE. It follows and continues the same path that his desire followed and longed for each day while in this world.

So do much good while you still are in this world !

When the soul leaves the body it reaches the gullet (pharynx), where it remains until it confesses and retells all that the body did together with it in this world. Then the soul of the righteous is happy with what it has done, and is happy with its deposit. We have learned that Rabbi Yitzchak said: The soul of the righteous feels great desire for the moment when it shall leave this world, which is worthless, so that it may enjoy itself in the world to come!

A man who sins and recieves “corait” (cut off) causes the cord of his Nashama (higher soul) to be separated from him, leaving him only with a ruach (emotional soul) and a nefesh (animal soul).1 The gematria (numerical value) of corait (soul cut off)=rashiam(evil doers). The wicked turn mercy to judgment, righteous people do the opposite.2 The lowest place in Hell is called Avadon. Where souls never rise from but parish, heaven forbid, as when a soul recieves “corait” all aspects of the Nashama are cut off. The wicked  can take another person’s portion in Hell in addition to their own.3 Righteous people when they pass on from this world see the light of the wheel of intellect. His Nefesh is separated from his body according to the level of his cleaving in the light, he sees the light according to his merit. 4 Sages of Divine wisdom die in a way by which they are not slaughtered in a way disfiguring them with disease as others.5 If someone is buried on the day his soul departs in the Holy land the spirit of impurity has no dominion over over him at all. All who die do so by the angel of death, except those  who die in in Aretz Yisrael, who die by a angel of mercy. They ascend into Supernal Holiness 6 The day of one’s death is called day of Hashem (The Lord) .1 When the Nashama goes out of its body it sees the face of the Shechinah. This “segulah” (miraculous wonder) is specifically according to their actions  while living, thus they merit to “devacut” (cleave).2 When the soul is ready to leave its body. It then asks leave of each limb, and its seperation from the body is only with great violence. As it says in the Song of Songs “ Love as strong as death, jealousy as cruel as the grave”.3 The Main punishment and pain come at the hand of destroying angels who lead the soul to Hell. There appears to him that he is still in this world. They decieve him in all kinds of ways. This can last for hundreds of years. One must stubbornly refuse to listen to  what they say. Tell them all you want to do is see the sadeek ! 4After one is buried there come four angels. the grave should be equal to the height of the man. After one is buried his Nashama returns to his body as when he was alive. The four angels seize the man and strike him with rods of iron. As a man cleans a garment. This removes the dust and earth cleaving to him. He needs to be buried deep so that there is enough room to remove the filth from him. If one purifies themselves by their “yesurim” (sufferings), mitzvot,  “misim tovim” (acts of kindness) and by learning torah. By working with their body till it is time to leave this world, he wont need much of this purification of the grave, because most of the filth will already be removed from him. But a wicked man does not remove the filth in his life time, but he even strengthens it very much. Therefore it will take a great strong effort to remove this filth from him in the grave. But one buried on the sixth day of the week after the fifth hour doesn’t require this purification as the holiness of Shabot removes the filth from him.5
