When a person enters a marriage, career or other turning points in life. They will encounter things which may tarnish their ideals. The Torah is there as a reference to help us preserve lofty principles and high ideals. When practical concerns can threaten to block our vision. Rabbi Banah teaches that whoever occupies themself with the Torah (The Infinite Spirituality of God) for its own sake, his learning becomes an elixir of life as it states in the holy proverbs of King Solomon: “It is a Tree of Life for those who hold fast to her”l (Proverbs 3: 18). Not only is the Torah (The Infinite Spirituality of God) life for one who meditates upon it, but it gives life to the whole world, as the sages teach us : “If you recite Torah, you do a good deed for the world, for if it were not for the Torah the world long ago would have been reduced to a state of primeval waste and desolation.”2 This notion is further clarified in the teaching of Elijah the Prophet, as he makes known that from the Holy One’s Presence every day angels of destruction come down intending to destroy the whole world and everyone in it. If it were not for the places of prayer and houses of study in which People sit and occupy themselves with the Torah, these angels would have at once destroyed the world and its people.3
Meditation on Torah arouses the love of God, by this Judgments that have been evoked are nullified. Not always though some times God uses these Judgments for the betterment of the world. At other time the force of the love of God evoked changes the nature of the world at a future time.
Know, the spiritual gifts earned by one spiritual works for the most part now are concealed. This is the nature of the providence guiding the world now. There will come a time in the future when the full power of all the Divine works will be revealed, all in the world will be surprised.
It is the light brought forth from the Torah that repels the severe judgments of heaven. Each little thing toward this end that we do has lasting effect, as our sages teach us a good deed never ceases to reappear in one’s house.4
The impression of its energy is there forever, it is always benefiting those present. Many times in ways presently unseen.
More insight into the impact of Torah is found in the teachings of Rabbi Elazar in the Holy Zohar, as we learn there that Torah gives life and freedom in this world and adeptness in the World to Come, earning its devotees fullness of days. 5
By Meditation on these Divine thoughts, it is like one lives in 2 worlds as the Torah is really not from this world.
Also in the Zohar, Rabbi Chayah teaches that whoever labors in the Torah upholds the world and enables each part to perform its function, and the whole world is as one organic body.6
Everything is more connected than we know !, again some times the results may not appear immediately or as we may expect but keep up the good work as its effect are so far reaching.
This is especially true in our time in this dark exile from Divinity, as Elijah taught Rabbi Chayah: “As long as the sages cling to the Torah, even if Jerusalem is fallen, the evil has no dominion over them.”7 But aside from the benefits Torah provides this world, for the immortal soul, Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai teaches, he who has not laid up provisions for the journey from this world will have nothing to eat in the other world.8 In both worlds the spiritual and the physical Torah is the elixir of life, as Rabbi Yitzchak teaches; the Torah was given in fire and darkness so that those who study and occupy themselves in it are spared from the fire Of Gehenom (hell) and the darkness of exile.9 And specifically Rabbi Shimon teaches that if a man wakes at night to study the Torah, the Torah makes known to him his sin not through chastisement, but as a mother who gently chides her son. 10
Build that “intimate” relationship with the God.

The power available to us through these words cleanses away negative energies from our being. The Light flowing through this portion helps to soften our resolve in situations where our stubbornness and ego prevents us from embracing spiritual change. The verses arouse a desire to seek a true connection to the Light of the Creator.
Biggest lights from the ZOHAR
There are people in our world who are hardhearted, stubborn, and set in their evil and selfish ways. The Zohar describes these people as refusing to change the negative aspects of their natures. They seek not to embrace the path of spiritual transformation and the Light of the Creator. All of us, to a certain degree, possess an aspect of these negative traits.
“Get you, out of your country…” (Beresheet 12:1).
A person must travel from their zone of comfort so to grow spiritual. You must go away from the aspects that separate you from the God, Spiritual Revelation. You must go to a new Spiritual space. So as God asked Abraham you to must :
“Get you, out of your country…”
Get to a new spiritual place
Rabbi Aba opened and said “Hearken to me, you hard-hearted, that are far from righteousness” (Yeshayah 46:12), how hard are the hearts of the wicked, who see the paths and the ways of Torah, yet do not observe them. And the hearts of the wicked are hard, as they do not repent and turn back to their Master. They are called hard-hearted. The verse, “that are far from righteousness,” Are they keep themselves far from Torah;
Rabbi Chizkiyah commented saying “Since they draw themselves away from the Holy One, blessed be He, therefore they remain far away from Him. And because of this, , they are called hard-hearted. They “are far from righteousness.” They do not wish to come closer to the Holy One, blessed be He,. And because of this, they “are far from righteousness.” Because they are far from righteousness, they are also far from peace-they can have no peace. As it is written: “There is no peace, says God, to the wicked” (Yeshayah 48:22). And why is that so? Because they “are far from righteousness,”
THEY HAVE NO PEACE!, True peace is a Holy thing !
Come and behold: Avraham indeed succeeded in his desire to get closer to the Holy One, blessed be He. As it is written: “You love righteousness and hate wickedness” (Tehilim 45:8). Because he loved righteousness and hated wickedness, he therefore came closer to righteousness. Therefore, it is written: “Avraham my beloved” (Yeshayah 41:8). Why IS HE “my beloved?” Because it has been said about him, “You love righteousness.” This is the love toward the Holy One, blessed be He, whom Avraham loved more than anyone else of his generation, who were “hard-hearted” and “far from righteousness,” as has already been explained.
The Zohar discusses our ignorance concerning the pillars that sustain our world, the unseen spiritual forces that give rise to all existence. The Zohar then focuses on another concept concerning the power of midnight. Great importance is attached to spiritual study and work during the hours from midnight to sunrise, when the Light of the Creator is intensified in our physical realm.
The increased spiritual power released into the cosmos during the intervening hours of midnight and morning, is made available to us by the words and wisdom that comprise this portion.
Rabbi Yosi opened the discussion by saying: “How lovely are Your dwelling places, Hashem Tzva’ot” (Tehilim 84:2)1. How important it is for people to observe the works of the Holy One, blessed be He! All people do not observe and are not aware of what keeps the world in existence. Nor are they aware of what keeps them in existence! When the Holy One, blessed be He, created the world, He made the heaven from fire and water. At first, these elements mingled together without freezing. Only later, by means of the Supernal Spirit, did they freeze and solidify. Then the heavens planted the world to be established upon supports. And the supports stand only by the help of the Spirit.
So bring out the energy of the Holy Spirit and build and sustain the worlds.
When that Spirit is gone, the supports are loosened and they quake, and the world is shaken. This is the meaning of, “Who shakes the earth out of its place, and its pillars tremble” (Iyov 9:6). And everything is established upon Torah, for when Yisrael are busy with Torah, Then the world is established, and the pillars and the supports are perfectly situated in their places.
Come and behold: When midnight is aroused, and the Holy One, blessed be He, enters the Garden of Eden to enjoy the company of the righteous, all the trees in the Garden of Eden sing and praise Him, as it is written: “Then shall the trees of the forest sing for joy at the presence of Yhv”h” (I Divrei Hayamim 16:33).
A Voice comes forth and forcefully calls, “You, mighty, holy men! To him among you who has allowed the spirit to enter, and his ears to hear, who has eyes open to see and who has a heart that is open to know!
BY THIS voice , THE RIGHTEOUS AWAKEN FROM THEIR SLEEP and Occupy in THE STUDY OF TORAH, AND DRAW Light.
When the spirit, which is the source of all spirits, arouses the sweetness of the soul, a voice comes from there, which is the source of all voices, and disperses all forces to the four corners of the world. One goes up to one side, THE SECRET OF THE SOUTH. one descends to the other side, Another enters in between the two, Two are crowned AND SHINE by BECOMING three. And three enter the one. One produced colors.
These colors are Divine energies
Six of them descended to one side and another six descended to the other side., all six
become twelve. The twelve become twenty-two six are included within the ten. the ten exist as one.
The 12 are the Energy of the 12 constellations of the Zodiac, 12 simple letters and the 12 tribes of Israel. Their energies are included in 22, being all the 22 Hebrew letters, the letters of creation. All these forces exist in the 10 Seirot. They all together exist as One in the Oneness of God.
Woe to those who slumber as sleep covers their eyes sockets
THOSE do not AWAKE FROM THEIR SLEEP TO Learn
They do not know and are unable to observe how and in what condition they shall awaken on the Day of Judgment, when they shall be visited upon to settle the account-when the body is defiled and the soul floats on the afternoon air, going up and down, but the gates do not open for it. They are thrown around like the pebbles in the hollow of a sling.
These are what people sometime see as Ghosts, they are caught between worlds as a “stone in a sling” . It is a privilege to be able to enter hell and receive purification. These souls don’t even merit this. This in between state is much worse than hell.
Woe to them. Who shall ask about them when they shall not arise to this place of pleasure? In the place where the righteous have pleasure, they shall be missing. They shall be passed on to the angel Dumah, go down and not rise. They are described by the words, “As the cloud is consumed and vanishes away, so he who goes down to Sh’ol shall come up no more.” (Iyov 7:9)
Sh’ol is of the lowest places in hell, a soul never rises from here.
At MIDNIGHT a flame is awakened from the North strikes the four corners of the world, It descends and touches the rooster between its wings, As the flame awakens it, it crows. THIS IS THE SECRET OF THE Voice that COMES FORTH AND FORCEFULLY ANNOUNCES…” But the only ones who awaken to the calling of the Rooster are the truly righteous, who delve to the study of Torah. Then the Holy One, blessed be He, together with all the righteous in the Garden of Eden, listen to their voice.
So be up in the middle of the Night and do this energy work, let your voice he heard and known above
As it is written: “You who dwell in the gardens, the companions hearken to your voice: cause me to hear it” (Shir Hashirim 8:13).
Nothing is mentioned more times in the Zohar than how important it is to rise at midnight and study the Torah. This is said and repeated over and over again. Get up out of bed in the middle of the the night learn the secrets and find out why !
Whenever the Torah is studied at night a thread of hidden light descends and plays upon them who are involved in their learning (at midnight). The cloud moshe entered on Sinai was from the primordial light. It is the light of chassadim, Hashem’s power of giving producing fulfillment of commandments and their result.1 Moshe dressed within the holiness of a cloud of this light wearing it as a garment. By this he was able to change his flesh from physical to spiritual in nature. enabling him to handle more light.2 Moshe entered a cloud which was the angel Michia’l. Its written “He founded darkness around him ערפל and ענן (cloud) ”. These are Chesed and Givurah of Atik.3 The rainbow in the cloud gave moshe’s soul its garment. So it could go up to the mountain, and through this garment he could see the sites and feast there.4 In flesh is “Ofanim”. To the East “Chayot” to the west. To the south is image of Man, it is the Chayah of Chuchmah. And Sarafim (north).5 The cloud acts as a barrier and as a garment. The light of the cloud is sweetened from the joy of the nefesh, and strengthened by divine service.6 There are 2 clouds the one moshe entered and stayed in on Sinai for 40 days. It is Malchut. The other cloud was upon the “mishcon”, this one Moshe could not enter. It was Bina.7 A cloud decended and pushed aside spirits from adam.8 Our world has a spiritual source thats fine and brilliantly shines, but the world is ruled by evil.9 After the first day of creation this light was never fully manifest again, but it does renew daily the works of creation. As it is written ” He builds the world with chuchmah”.10 This is chuchmah of the left from imma as said before. Rabbi Ashlag teaches on the Zohar that the light of the day is chassadim. Chuchmah is the secret of 1000. Chassidim are the aspect of 100.11

Rabbi Nachman explains that the Torah that the “Avot” (patriarchs) Shem and Ever and others learned before the Torah was given at Sinai was in the aspect of “ Safer Zicharon” (Book of remembrance) which is called “heart above”. This is also what we refer to when we talk about the souls of the sadeekem (righteous) talking with God prior to creation. These ideas originated by the sadeekem prior to creation are the souls we are speaking of here.1 The Ar’i teaches that its best to learn torah at midnight and pray morning prayer without any interruption in between.2 If one rises to learn Torah at midnight this rises up the parzuf (Divine face) of Rachel much so that at “Shacrit” (morning prayer) the Shechinah (Divine Presence) rises in Her strength to unite face to face. Then the “tikun” Fixing of “Tefila” (prayer) shall be as is proper.3 At midnight Z’a (the emotional soul) can enter Gan aden (garden of Eden), the delight of God. Techalet is hod, seeing the depth of the matter which is hod. Which is the splendor of God. It is from here that king David Seizes. It is also from hod that we arouse (zivug) unification at midnight. from this God wanders in 18,000 worlds4, Rabbi Berg says midnight lasts two hours, till the end of the second watch. It states in the Zohar” The Torah must be learned by day and night”. The night must be added to the day in order that the Holy name may be with him in harmony and perfectly. Night is commonly taken to include the evening hours before midnight, but the real night only begins at midnight. In the beginning of the night evil spirits roam the world, but as the north wind blows at midnight they all enter a cavern in the ocean.5 A north wind blows at midnight upon David Hamelech’s harp. This wind is the “ruach hovering over the face of the waters”. This is צפון רוח (hidden spirit). This is the “spirit of life” in a man’s heart. It is the source of each persons individuality. It is the thoughts that are hidden in his heart. All of his body is directed by this ruach of the heart. This ruach (spirit) would cry out to David over Yisraels needs awaking him.6 The north wind of midnight is the left pillar. Chuchmah (wisdom) without Chassidim (God’s power of giving), which is the first 3 sefirot of the ruach. The south (wind), right pillar is chassadim. Judgments of the left are mitigated by Chassadim of the right. The Ruach of the heart goes out of the left chamber. This is the Ruach that played David’s harp. This is the Ruach from Bina of the North. The harp of David sweetens the judgment of Malchut. The North wind is 5 sweetened givurot on imma. These sweeten the givurot (forces of restriction) of Malchut (Manifest Kingship of God-Divine Presence). The 5 corners of the lungs are also 5 givurot Imma and 5 string’s of the harp.7 The North wind is Chuchmah of the left piller. In it is a evil spirit from the shattering of the “sitra achra” (other side), by it many evil spirit’s power is shattered and can no longer rule go off to a certain place. Then God can commune with the sadeekem in Gan aden (Eden) without any interference.8 David woke at midnight and praised the God until the name ascended upon it’s thrown at the hour when the light of the day appeared. If you work to establish the Holy name all the blessings of heaven will abide with you.9 Rabbi Nachman teaches that by “tikun chatzot” (midnight meditation) there is sorted out and clarified the thoughts of one’s heart.10

We learn from chassidut that an external aspect of love is born from reflection on the closeness of the divine, while a more inward love is generated by reflection on the greatness and loftiness of the blessed ayn-sof.12 In Ayn Sof are no desires or “Bozinin Nahorin” (illuminating lamps) these are only found beginning in Atzilut. Ayn Soff cannot be comprended so it is called Ayn.13 It states in the Zohar in parsha Yitro that those who separate from Rebbi Shimon separate from all. Rabbi Yehuda Bay Elloy said so great is the loss of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochi. Now no one knows and no one has permission to reveal. How important beneficial is it to be regularly involved in the Zohar. Becouse of the shattering of vessels we need to sustain and stand up the worlds renewing them. Until there stands up the Nashamot of Rasb”i and his friends who are able to raise things to their source. They are able to do the elevations and “tikunim” that are needed. They decend by the letter ט . The Ar”i Rashb”y and his friends are from the “givurot of gadlut”.14 How many times its explained in the Zohar how important it is to learn the Torah at Midnight. We learn from the Zohar that a redemption comes to the children of men who call out at night. It redeems them from their separation from Hashem because of blemish from their sins. In Tikunim we learn night is imma which is malchut of the world of Bria.15
With the secrets of the Torah one must be careful. As the Zohar compares revealing secrets to one unworthy as revealing nakedness. This allows flow to the “chitzonim” (other side) heaven forbid. The wicked reveal secrets, it is as if they kill people.16 The desire to learn secrets of the Torah, Kaballah in particular is a great gift from Hashem. Yaakov Abuchitzera teaches that the Nefesh in a man is “elohot”, but עצמות (essence) of Hashem does not enter into man in this world until he removes his courseness and dresses in a spiritual garment so to be able to handle the light. One must be careful when entering into the Dat of “Misa Markava”. They must guard them selves as with those involved in this work the “sitra achra” (other side) wants to accuse above. If they are lacking in dat, or don’t have complete “emuna” they will be far from accomplishing this learning, his Nashama will not receive. If his Nefesh is not coming from a place of truth, these things will be far from him. But a Nefesh with a “tiva”, and complete emuna eats and is satisfied.17 A big secret in sitri Torah is to portion כבוד (honor) to the last attribute (Malchut), becouse emuna makes miracles and נפלאות (wounderous things). Emuna in the name make נסים (miracles). All the blessings we say on miracles illude to keter as from here they come.18 Every day has barriers that guard as thorns. So that those who are unfit cannot enter the vinyard. There are many types of Guardians. There are snakes and scorpions to protect the good. If there were no barriers the wicked could then access the secrets. These confuse the mind of the wicked. Preventing the entry of those who do not belong.19 Its taught by Rabbi Moshe Cordevero in Shur kuma that by divine providence and knowledge there are those who there does not illuminate upon them the secret of the zohar. It being concealed and hidden. To them there is not vision bursting forth, but the kabbalah remains hidden.20 In a sense in the torah that they learn they don’t find more and more. There are laws to revealing Kaballah. There is that wisdom which is necessary, one must posses it. But to reveal only so that one will say “so what”, is a great destroyer. Other wisdom requires heavenly permission to reveal. The words must be given from above, and there are those secrets which are only shared with the few who are worthy. Those who fear Hashem and guard the holiness with all their heart and soul21. Rabbi Moshe Cordevero also teaches that people who don’t have Chumash, Mishna,Gemora and occupy in Kaballah there is no doubt they are in error completely. If one has not seen the light of “pilpul” there will not come the light from Kaballah upon them. They will only come to error.22 Rabbi Nachman of Bresslov teaches that once one completes the whole talmud they are deserving of the “zelem Elokim” (divine image).
