“The study of Torah”

Does not refer to a cerebral, academic approach to thousands of words on parchment.

This is not its end and purpose at all though intellect is a tool to “connect”

The Torah is understood as the medium through which the energy of The Creator is expressed in our physical dimension of existence.

The sinewy parchment, the coal black ink, and the primordial letters are all intricate components of a divine communication instrument serving one express purpose: to help willing students uproot all their character flaws, in order to attain similarity of nature and thus, closeness to the Light of The Creator.

The first Torah Scroll was shown to Moses by God “Written in black fire over white fire”.

We learn in the Zohar that when the Creator, Bina, gave the Torah to Israel at Mount Sinai. There were severa Holy “Merkavot” (Divine chariots) left side, as well as all the upper sanctities from the upper Holiness of the Torah, the right side. By this the Torah, the middle line, was given in flames of fire. The Torah was thus written in white fire, from the side of “Hesed”, over black fire, from the side of “Gevura”. The letters were flying and ascending through the air. In the air, the lower degrees would fly and rise up to the upper ones.

Moshe transcribed from that Torah of fire while God dictated the words. This very Torah was placed in the Holy Ark and twelve additional Torah Scrolls were gifted to each of the tribes.

From these original scrolls, additional Torahs were transcribed in precise detail. Even the letters were identical in appearance. Indeed each and every feature was prescribed by G-d. Thus the chain of Torah remained unbroken from the time it was given to us at Sinai.

Along the 3,516 years of Jewish history, not one of the Torah’s 304,805 letters has ever been changed and a Sefer Torah that exist in New York is exactly the same that exist in Japan. The words we read in synagogue today are exactly those recorded by Moses.

Come and behold: when the Holy One, blessed be He, wished to create the world, He did so with  the Torah. And he continues to do so at every moment.

And every act that the Holy One, blessed be He, used to create the world was done with and  according to the Torah. This is the meaning of: “then I was by him, as a nursling: and I was daily his delight” (Proverbs 8:30). Do not pronounce it as “a nursling,” (Heb. amon) but rather ‘a Artist’ (Heb. oman), BECAUSE IT WAS A instrument of HIS Art.

It is more than a book

When He wanted to create man, the Torah said to him: ‘If man is created, he will sin, and you will punish him. Would not Your handwork then be in vain? After all, he will not be able to endure the punishment.’ The Holy One, blessed be He, replied: ‘I created repentance before I created the world. IF HE WILL SIN, HE WILL BE ABLE TO REPENT AND BE FORGIVEN.’ In Hebrew Repentance is the word “Teshuva” It really means to “return” .

It refers to a aspect of Time travel. returning to a state before the damage was done

When the Holy One, blessed be He, created the world and created Adam, He said to it: ‘World, world, you and your nature are based solely upon the Torah, and for that reason I created man in you, to be occupied with the Torah. And if he does not Occupy with THE TORAH, I will return you to chaos.

It is the “energy” from the Torah that prevents this directing creation toward God’s desired goal. Yet there is also free will.

Everything is for man.’ This is the meaning of the verse: “I have made the earth, and created man upon it” (Yeshayah 45:12). The Torah proclaims to men to be occupied with and endeavor in the study of the Torah, but no one lends an ear.

Come and behold: whoever studies the Torah sustains the world and properly sustains every act in the world. There is no part within man that does not have a counterpart  in the world.

So dont mess it all up by ruining your own life, as there are far reaching consequences .

Just as the body of man is composed of levels of parts that act together to form a unified body, so is the world. All the creatures in the world are hierarchical parts that act on and react with each other, so they will actually be as one body. Everything, WHETHER IT BE MAN OR THE WORLD, is part of the Torah,  the Torah is made of different parts and sections that support each other. When they are all correct, they will become as one body.

The whole world and all in it is as one Organic Body !

Each soul has a source in a letter of the Torah

“It has been said that each of the letters of the Torah has some corresponding soul.

That is to say, every soul is a letter in the Torah and has its own part to play.”
The Torah is seamless. “Its beginning is lodged in its end, and its end in its beginning.”1

The last letter of the Torah is a Lamed. The first letter is a Beit. When we fuse its end to its beginning we form the word Lev; Heart.

The Lamed is from the word Yisroel; The Jewish People. The Bet is from the word Breishit; Creation.

The unity of the Torah creates a unity in the heart of all

The letters of Torah and tefila (meditation). The Torah letters are the building blocks of the universe. Each of the twenty-two Hebrew letters is a channel connecting the Infinite with the finite. Each is a particular state of contraction of spiritual light and life force. The shape of each letter represents its individual form of transformation of energy into matter. This can best be understood by comparison to the phenomena of thought and speech in the soul. Every letter which emerges in thought and speech is drawn from the inner essence of the intelligence and emotions of the soul.

Before Gods’s letters of creation combine into words, they are still unable to give life to individual creatures. In this state they are called “stones”. When the “stones” are combined into words, the “houses” thereby constructed receive power to give life even to physical creatures. Thus, the inner life of every creature is its name.

This is according to the teaching of Abraham is his “Safer Yetzera” (Book of Creation)

The letters of tefila are upward-bound channels that connect the soul to G-d. They are called “bricks”. (As opposed to the letters of Torah, or “stones”, which are God given, the letters of tefila, like bricks, are man-made.) Joined together, the bricks form “houses”. Thus, by uttering the letters of Torah and tefila, one becomes a partner bound with God in the action of creation.  Though, we say the words many are not able to comprehend their creative power- just as in general we are insensitive to the continuous act of creation, the constant flow of letters into all beings. This, then, is the deeper meaning of the passage, “Our signs we do not see..”

The  foundation (gateway of energy) is established by Torah and mitzvot (commandments).  The soul possesses a unique, innate sense of purpose. Purposeless existence can cause him only frustration and despair. One’s ultimate purpose is inherent in the Torah, through which  shines the Infinite “Light of Goodness” from its Giver.

So go out and do something Profound !

UPDATED January 29TH 2017

“I have given you every herb … and every tree … for meat.” 1:29

This is a mistranslated , in no way is the word here meat in the original Hebrew the word is “achla” which means food.

A similar lesson we can learn from the verse “Sarah lived to the age of 127”. The Hebrew text says “the life of Sarah was one hundred years and twenty and seven years.” The words of the God are very exacting, and specific. There are reasons for this strange choice of language. But one would not even notice this from the English translation..

From this we see if you want to study a book as important as the Bible you should study it  in its original language.

The Bible in the  sacred  language Hebrew does not use obscure language, but describes most things in words clearly indicating their meaning. Therefore it is necessary at all times to delve into the literal meaning of words to achieve complete understanding of what is actually meant. This can only be done fully by learning the “original text”. The letters are vessels of Divine Light each represents a specific aspect that works a specific function. It is in the exact order and combinations of these
letters of Divine Light; that they convey the Divine Will according
to The God’s will. All these holy letters in our Holy Torah bring what is, was and will be into existence physically and spiritually. the four letters of The Divine name יהו”ה manifest this Name in the rest of the letters empowering them. יהו”ה empowers all the letters of our prayers.

The letters are male and female, the vowel points are also male and female. However the letters compared to the vowel points are like a body to the Ruach (soul). Concerning “Nikudot”, יהו”ה Sometimes יהו”ה is with “nikud” (vowels) “Shivah”, “Cholem”, “Kamatz”. The “Shivah” is judgement, “Kamatz” is mercy. The vowels “Shivah”, “Cholem”, “Kamatz” it hints to “Because he חשק(desires) me I will save him” (Psalms 91:14), “Only in the forefathers does God חשק desires” (Deut. 10:15). The “tamim” cantalation notes are from the Keter. The “tamim” cantalation notes are weapons of war. “Dagesh” are like the muzzle and bridle of the letters. Through them the “Chayot” “run and return”, they run through the “Dagesh” (hard sound), and return through the “Rafah” (soft Sound).

Decorative “crowns” which are sometimes placed on the letters of the Hebrew alphabet. The “tag” (crown) is regularly composed of three flourishes or strokes, each of which resembles a small “zayin” and is called “ziyyun” ( = “armor,” i.e., “dagger”).  The seven letters צ, ג, ו, נ, ט ע, ש have the crowns on the points of the upper horizontal bars. The flourishes are placed on the tops of the letters, and they are found only in the Scroll of the Law, not in the printed copies of the Torah. The tagin are a part of the Masorah. According to tradition, there existed a manual, known as “Sefer ha-Tagin,” of the tagin as they appeared on the twelve stones that Joshua set up in the Jordan, and later erected in Gilgal (Josh. iv. 9, 20). On these stones were inscribed the books of Moshe, with the tagin in the required letters (Nachmanides on Deut. xxvii. 8). The baraita of “Sefer ha-Tagin” thus relates its history: “It was found by the high priest Eli, who delivered it to the prophet Samuel, from whom it passed to Palti the son of Laish, to Ahithophel, to the prophet Ahijah the Shilonite, to Elijah, to Elisha, to Jehoiada the priest, and to the Prophets, who buried it under the threshold of the Temple. It was removed to Babylon in the time of King Jehoiachin by the prophet Ezekiel. Ezra brought it back to Jerusalem in the time of Cyrus. Then it came into the possession of Menahem, and from him was handed down to R. Nechunya ben ha-Hanah, through whom it went to R. Eleazar ben ‘Arak, R. Joshua, R. Akiba, R. Judah, R. Miyasha (), R. Nahum ha-Lablar, and Rab.”

Haim Nachman Bialik  said “Reading the Bible in translation is like kissing your new bride through a veil”

One needs  the ability to understand the original author’s words, rather than through the translator’s opinion of the author’s words.

Hebrew is called the holy tongue? The Rambam explains that Hebrew lacks words for genital organs, for the reproductive act, for urine, and for excrement. When Hebrew needs to describe these things, it borrows terms with other meanings or employs allusions. This linguistic limitation makes the language sanctified. Hebrew is the original language of Torah, the language in which God communicates with his prophets and his people, and the language God used to create the world.

It is said that the Hebrew language came directly from God. It contains secrets that were preserved by the initiated. They contain the precise plan of the principles of creation. Each letter is a crystallization of one of the aspects of manifestation of the divine word. Each letter is thus connected to the creative forces in the universe. The twenty-two letters of the Hebrew alphabet are the building blocks of creation. According to the Bible, G-d created with world with Ten Utterances (or sentences) such as “Let there be Light.” Immediately, there was light. And the Bible describes each of the Ten Utterances and the things that were created as a result. What is interesting is that these utterances were not just said once and erased, but stand for all time, forming the objects they created. The world is formed out of combinations of letters; these combinations are created from the letters of the words G-d spoke when he made the world. If a letter were to be rearranged or damaged, that object would cease to exist. Therefore, spiritually, the continued existence of these letters is essential for the functioning of the world.

Every letter in the Hebrew alphabet has a design, a number and a meaning. You might have heard of the term “gematria.” Since every Hebrew letter has a number, words have “totals,” and these numbers have special significance. Two words may be linked in their significance and meaning not just because of etymology or the fact that they are related in their sounds, but also because they are related in their numerical value.

Words and letters have a certain kind of power that goes beyond our capacity to imagine.

The Hebrew Bible is arranged similarly to a hologram. The Torah has recorded with in it a vast “world” of information “imbedded” within and waiting to be later reconstructed, some what like being unfolded. It is like a “zip” (compressed) file. The first letter contains the whole. The first word expands from the first letter, the first sentence from the first word, etc. It’s very much like what our scientists do, We include information with messages sent to outer space that explains how to decode the entire message-that’s also how compression programs work on computers. To perceive the Torah requires information retrieval, and  information processing. As all is concealed with in it most only look upon its surfice. The ancient Hebrew alphabet is far more than a tool for everyday communication or the transmission of sacred texts; the letter forms themselves have intrinsic geometric and mathematical properties that point us to a profound knowledge of life and nature. They hold within them the secrets of human consciousness. The letters of the Hebrew Alphabet, as the manifestations of God’s speech. They are the energetic and vibrational building blocks of creation. They are analogous to physical elements. Just as, for example, an atom of oxygen gas unites with two atoms of hydrogen gas to form a molecule of water, so does one letter combine with another to create new entities. Hebrew words and letters are the constituent spiritual elements of all existence.

The Hebrew Alphabet is like the periodic table of elements.

The  written Torah. It has in it only the crowns of letters and letters. It has none of the vowels written in it. Thus the words of the “Torah” (Bible) have many possible meanings. This does not mean that there is not a known simple meaning which Moses was taught by God at Sinai, but it lets us know there are other “secret” meanings to it’s words.  The letters are the 288 sparks of the vessels that shattered. In creating the world God joined letters and sparks together. By the shattering of the vessels sparks fell below.  Through  reading of the Torah  with the “tamim” (musical notes) and “nikudot” (vowels) which are  into the vessels. This purifies the vessels and the sparks. Raise the letters that are fallen by the “tagim” (notes) , “nikudot” (vowels), “tagin” (crowns) All letters have their source in the letter “Alp” the Hebrew “A”, which is called sweetened.

By this the vessels are fixed ,from their shattered state. V”H of YHV”H is the source of  the letters, it is the letters. By holy speech one makes  permutations of these letters and sparks, thereby  making peace between them and raising them up to the place from which they have fallen and their fixing reassembles them above to be conduits of light for us here below. Giving the world a higher and better level of Divine supervision, nullifying judgments..

The nature of the letters of the Torah is revealed by the fact that when the letters flew off the Tablets Moshe was no longer able to hold them any longer as they were so heavy, so he had to let them drop and shatter. This was because after the letters had departed from the Tablets they were with out “ruach” (Spirit) so grew heavy and fell. In the Torah scroll itself there are no vowels allowing the Torah to have many meanings, as each generation has a unique “tikun”(fixing) of its own by exchanging the letters

The vowel Kametz is a firmament a line and a point, this is the letters י and ו, it is a gathering of all the other vowel points, which is the gematria sixteen, the sixteen faces of the Chayot. Therefore it is a gathering of all the other vowel points. Kametz is a big movement. Because it is the beginning of all the vowel points of the sefirot. Even though all the holy names make a chair to the other. Like a son needs to work for his father and mother to make himself to them like a servant, a helper, a chair, and a pedestal under them. So too, the sefirot one to the other. Therefore there is a vowel point which is a king, and there is a vowel point which is a servant to it. Like the Shvah is a servant to the Kametz. The secret of the Kametz קָמֵץ is fourteen plus the three points (30) and the line (6) equal fifty

Petach is forty two, the gematria of Petach is twenty, and a point and two lines equal ווי 22, which is forty two.

The secret of the vowel point of צרי is forty two plus the three letters equals forty five which is the gematria אדם man (45). Through the vowel צרי The world was created.

The vowel “Shvah” is the secret of (42) מ”ב , as 42, plus the three letters of “Shvah” equals 45.

Nikud Segol” סֶגול equals 18 .

The vowel Cholem חֹלֵם without spelling it with the ו equals the gematria יה plus the three points equals forty five which is the Shem Hamoforesh מ”ה , and with the three letters and the kollel it equals forty nine which is the gematria of the forty nine letters of “Shema Yisroel…” (Deut. 6:4), and “Baruch Shem…”. As the Rabbis of the Mishnah have said (Rosh Hashanah 21B) “the fifty gates of Binah were created in the world and were given to Moshe except one” as it says, “And missing a little bit from אלהי”ם (Psalms 8:6). And below of the angels these are the forty nine faces of purity from the angel מטטרון who is the חלם of the angels.

Nikud Chirek” חִרֵק plus the “gematria” of its letters equals 41 . “Chirek” is the gematria וה =11 and it has three dots ייי‘ which is thirty, together they equal forty-one.

Nikud Shuruk” שֻרֵק equals the letter ו, and the five points (50), fifty six, plus the three letters and the kollel equals sixty “סוד the secret of Hashem is for the ones who fear him” . And in it is “sing to Yaackov in happiness” (Jer. 31:6). רנו ליעקב שמחה an acronym for shurek שרק. The Vowel Shuruk (שורק), is the “tzadik” the foundation of the world, in it is the secret of the second Shurek with the addition of the ו‘ equals forty two.

All the vowel points come forth from the upper Chochmah, until the Malchut. And the “tammim” (musical cantelation notes) are from Keter to Malchut.

The men of Beth-El and Ai, a hundred and twenty three.”  The five Books of Moses correspond to the five parzufim: The Book of Genesis corresponds to the upper thorn of the yud of יהוה and the parzuf Arich. The Holy Ar”i teaches that the Book of Exodus corresponds to the yud itself and Abba. The Book of Leviticus corresponds to the first hay and Ima. The Book of Numbers corresponds to the vav. .The Book of Deuteronomy, corresponds to the final hei and Nukvah  The Torah is our nations greatest treasure, for the truth it embodies and it stands as a witness to the supernatural experience all the Hebrews shared at Mount Sinai.

Of the Torah of the world of Beriyah it says “To me are the children of Yisrael servants” (Lev. 25:55). And from the side of Torah of Atzilut it says “Children are you to Hashem” (Deut. 14:)

We have a limited amount of years on this earth, and we have a lot of work to do. We just don’t have enough years to learn the right way of life through trial and error. By the time one learns the way of life, it is already time to leave. Therefore, God gave us the Torah, Don’t use up your years in trial and error.

HERE IS SOME OF THE NEW REVELATIONS- LIVING BOOK UPDATES

One must try their best to raise Holy God fearing children but the outcome of one’s efforts is according to heaven as we see that some of the greatest biblical figures did not succeed with all their children. Abraham fathered Ishmael. Isaac and Rebecca gave birth to Esau. Solomon gave birth to Rehoboam, whose disastrous leadership divided the kingdom. Hezekiah, one of Judah’s greatest kings, was the father of Menasheh, one of the worst. Neither genes nor upbringing can guarantee our children will be Holy and God fearing.

At times this is for the best as Abraham was not an idolater like his father Terach. Menasheh, the evil king, was grandfather to Josiah, one of the best.

Not everyone succeeds raising Holy and God fearing children. God himself said  “I have raised children and brought them up but they have rebelled against Me” (Is. 1:2).

Two things rescued the story of Moses and his children from tragedy. The book of Chronicles (1 Chron. 23:16, 24:20) refers to Gershom’s son not as Jonathan but as Shevual or Shuvael, which the rabbis translated as “return to God”. In other words, Jonathan eventually repented of his idolatry and became again a faithful Jew. However far a child has drifted, he or she may in the course of time come back.

In Numbers 3. It begins with the words, “These are the children of Aaron and Moses,” but goes on to list only Aaron’s children. On this the rabbis say that because Moses taught Aaron’s children they were regarded as his own. In general, “disciples” are called “children” and Torah books one writes are also called “children”.

updated September 10th 2017

Before the giving of the Torah, there was no concept of “acquiring” a women to be a wife. Marriage was only a man and woman living together as a couple. The Torah presents the concept of marriage, as a bond between the couple,

in the verse :

“Therefore, a man shall leave his father and his mother, and cleave to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.”
(Bereishit-Genesis) 2:24
In parshas Ki Teitzei there is discussed the manner in which Jewish marriage is to take place. The verse states:
“When a man takes a wife and has relations with her”
(Devarim 22:13)

Each woman, when she marries, is a projection of all the Jewish people and their spiritual root. This is why the bride is called  כלה “kallah” – from a word כל “Kol”  ( all ). She is blessed with the 7 blessings of the 7 Sefirot.

In the blessings at the “Chuppah” are 10 different words used to describe happiness.. These words all lead to joy. These ten words correspond to all ten Sefirot, and also to the ten sayings with which the world was created and to the Ten Commandments given at Mount Sinai.

Blessing Sefirah Translation
1 Who Creates the fruit of the Vine Gevurah Strength
2 Who Created everything for His glory Chesed Kindness
3 Who Created Adam Tiferes Harmony
4 Who Created the first couple Netzach Eternity
5 Who makes Zion rejoice with Her children Hod Splendor
6 Who makes the groom and bride happy Yesod Foundation
7 Who makes the groom happy with the bride Bina Understanding (mother)

There are what appears to be different versions of “Judaism like what they call reformed and conservative but know    “Torah without the commandments is not the Torah of Hashem.”

motivating factors

The first power is pleasurable, it is the thrill of new creation. It is revelation of something previously hidden.

The second involves work and pain. It contains pain of infinite potentials shrinking to finite proportions. The sacrifice of all the creative energy that could not be limited to space and time. separation from a pure origin.

why bad things happen

The third is the true nature of human joy. It is happiness at resolutions of doubts. It is happiness at finding why something seeming so cruel, was infact kindness. Deliverance from danger in a unexpected unforeseen way suddenly, brings forth laughter. Going from total dispair to deliverance suddenly brings forth laughter. Every thing God does is for the good. The joy of the redemption is in the fact that both the ordeal and its resolution are booth the redemption, the “problem” is the solution. This world will be turned upsidedown at the time of redemption. In modern secular society those who live their life with the purpose of “knowing God” live opposite of their seculatar society. At the time of Mashiach those who live Godless lifes will find themselve to be completely disoriented.

parsha- Bo Hashem shows the way

The 10th plague cleansed damage Egypt did (to yisrael) paralleling the first creative utterance of creation. After Hashem took Yisrael from the Reed Sea on dry land. He deposited them in the desert, with 49 days of work ahead of them. So they could merit the Sinia experience, the giving of the Torah.

The desert is a place of intense dark forces, of lethal ordeals. When Yisrael was taken out of Egypt they were still unworthy of such spiritual elevations. The price for these had to be paid. Only by working to achieve the level does one actually “acquire” it. Instead of being shown the spiritual level (by God) one becomes it. Hashem inspired us with dazzling wonders in Egypt. Then put us in the desert and challenged us to make our way to Sinai. In Egypt he shows us the destruction of 10 levels of evil and then challenges us to destroy them.

prepare for next world

We engage in this world so to achieve the reality of the next. From our suffering and difficulties in this world will be one’s happiness in the next. They are exactly what one needs, even though they can not see this now. This can be a deep source of strength.

tests

When one faces a “test”, the force that “helps” the to pass the test is God, it is revelation of the Divine presence.

The deepest essence of falsehood has a admixture of good, if there was no good in it, it could not exist, here in lies the confusion.By this most men continue to stride in their delusionary reality.

The word “sufec” (doubt) does not exist in the Torah, as doubts involving Divive things have no foundation and don’t really exist. They they are only caused by faults of our perception.

His will

When Hashem wills a action and we carry it out. We become one with his will. We make his will our will.

Shabot

Shabot is a aspect of the completion of the creation. so a talmud Chuchum is called Shabot.

measures in the Torah

Shabot is 1/60 of Olam Haba. Forbidden foods mixed with that which is permitted contiaining less then 1 part of the forbidden food to 60 of the permitted food is Kosher.

parsha

The redemption will come unexpectantly as the revelation of Yosef to his brothers.

Purim

The meal Lot had with the angels in Sodom was matza. Yet the meal was called “mishteh”. This word is also used in the Magilla of Easter for the meal of purim. Purim is redemption without miracles in a revealed way. Passach redemption was one of many obvious miracles. Together Passach and purim include all aspects of redemption. Lot was conducting the Passach Sader and the purim “Sudah” all as one.

dirty source of Messiah

The sex of lot with his daughters was a transgression for the sake of a mitzvah (commandment). From this union comes the seed of Mashiach. So too Yuhuda thought Tamar was a harlot and had relations with here. From this union comes the seed of Mashiach. Also know, King David’s father Yeshi had a grandmother that was a moabite convert named Ruth. The Torah forbids converts from Moab as its written “An Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter into the congregation of the Lord; to their tenth generation shall they not enter into the congregation of the Lord forever.” (Deut 23 :3) This raised a question before King David was even conceived. But the prohibition on Moab converts only applies to men. Yeshi, King David’s father separated his wife in fear of transgressing this commandment, which he misunderstood. His wife with the depth of insight only a woman can have knew he was mistaken. So she disguised herself as one of his married maid servants (like Tamar), by this David was conceived. Becouse of this David in his youth was scorned as impure and the son of immorality. The pure seed of the Massiah was seen in the worst light by even his father and brothers.

The soul issues from its source and splits into male and female so its match is its other half. No Judgment of who suits it is needed. This is so only for a person’s first marriage. Concerning one’s 2nd and other subsequent marriages these can be arranged by Elokim  ever  against the parties’ wishes but The Name Elokim makes marital matches, Elokim forces matches to take place. A evaluation is made by Elokim as to who best suits the soul at the time.

seeing in the world of truth

In this world we hear about things, most things we can not “see” them for all they “really” are. In the next world, the world of souls we will “see” clearly. Now we only hear about “it”. When the Torah was given on mount Sinia it states :

” And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the sound of the shofar, and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw it, they were shaken, and stood far away.”

(Exodus 20:15)

At the mount Sinia experiance heaven came down to earth and we saw the sounds. Most cannot be “seen” now, like angels. In the time to come all will be seen. For a similar reason the Talmud says “come and hear”, while the Zohar which reveals wisdom of the upper worlds says “come and see” !

names

One must know the purpose of the Holy names so that when he needs to request something of Hashem he can concentrate on the name created to fulfill his request. If one does so not only will his request be granted but he will be beloved both in this world and the next.

(Shari Aora)

Shavuot

Shavuot has more names than any other festival being called “Time of giving of the Torah”, “This very day”, “Day of assembly”, “Day of first fruit” and “day of Gathering”. Shavuot is compared to the middle bar that hold the Tabernacle together.

It was on Rosh Chodesh Sivan that Yisrael encamped at mount Sinai. The word “encamped” in the Bible is written in the singular form, as Yisrael were all of one heart. Recieving of the Torah is experienced when Yisrael love one another. Sharing a mutual love of brotherhood peace and fellowship. Like in a marriage. The Torah is the instrument of Betrothal between Hashem and Yisrael. Also on Rosh Chodesh Sivan King Asa gathered Yuhudah and Benyamim and those who lived among them to Jerusalem and the entered into a covanant with God with all their hearts and souls. This day has been ordained as a day of peace and unity between a man and his brother and a day for making a covanant of peace and love between Yisrael and their father in Heaven. It is from this place that we approach Shavuot to recieve the Torah. Which is our mission upon which the whole world depends.

çìá = 40 , we eat milk products on Shavuot so to remeber the 40 days and nights Moses spent with God on Sinia. We also decorate our houses with green to remember Sinai. We learn Ruth on Shavuot as it teaches us the Torah is only acquired through hardship. The story occurs at the beginning of the barley harvest which is at the time of Shavuot. øåú is gematria 606 the 7 laws of Noah is 613. King David who descends from Ruth was born and died on Shavuot. The story of Ruth reminds us that only by the Oral Torah will their be redemption. As the Torah forbids converts from Moab as its written “An Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter into the congregation of the Lord; to their tenth generation shall they not enter into the congregation of the Lord forever.” (Deut 23 :3) We only know that the prohibition on Moab converts only applies to men through the Oral Torah. The Ben Eash Chy tells us not to speak of secular matters the whole night of Shavuot. But this night is for study of the Torah which achieve great results in Heaven and infuse the soul with sanctity and purity. As Rabbi Shimon says “All who learn Torah on this night Hashem blesses with many blessings and crowns in the upper worlds”

Every morning before prayer the Ar”i would tell his students ” Be sure to consciously fulfill the commandment to love your neighbor as yourself.” And it is essential to fulfill this to the extent that the “chavarim” each become like a limb of one united body.

The sanctity of Tefillin is of a extremely great Holiness. All the time that Tefillin are on the hand and the arm of a man he is humble, fears Hashem and is not inclined to revelry or useless speech. He has no evil thoughts. Instead his heart is turned to words of truth and righteousness. A man wearing Teffillin is a ideal man.

Truth and righteousness are the fundamental melody of the Torah.

Whon one observes the wicked being sucessful it is a sign that God is angry with the people and will soon exact retribution. This is the only reason he allowed the wicked to rule This phenomena is a warning for the “sadeek” (righteous) to hide and not associate himself with the ruling class in any way shape or form. As when disaster strikes the angel of death does not choose between the righteous and the wicked. The city will be judged as the majority of its inhabitants. The Righteous cannot expect to be saved.

THE OWNER’S MANUAL

TO PROSPERITY AND A BETTER LIFE

CHAPTER 1

WHAT WILL GOD DO, WITH ME ?

The first thing is you need to know, recognize and see  is that you are not alone, ever. If one does not believe and know that God manifests in his own life and its providence. How can he have faith in the fact that God is involved in all that happens everywhere. Every day we encounter signs that point to an active Presence of Spirit. Everything that happens inside and outside of us is brimming with spiritual meaning, points of connection with Spirit. You need to find holiness in everyday life. By this also one may experience the mystical moment. One may see it or hear it, grasp it. Yet it has no form and is unseen and unheard being elusive and evasive. God presents Himself as the undefinable oneness. A glimpse of the Divine is every where. Seeing the patterns emerging in life awakens us. There is meaning in what happens to us in nature and the cosmos. In those things others see only as chance or strange coincidence.  . Although they have a subtle yet undeniable and uncanny quality. Here God reveals himself and then at once is concealed.Unfortunately most people don’t have a clue what’s going on. God is always trying to make contact but they can’t perceive this. The whole universe is there to support our spiritual awareness. The universe is saturated with purpose and meaning. Our universe is directed by a powerful, creative intelligence, and an ordering principle of truly astonishing power, complexity, and beauty. God can be observed in the constant regularity of the universe. We can see this wonder when looking at modern science concerning the wondrous exacting complexity at the atomic and cellular level. To the wonders of the movements of the stars planets and constellations. In these things also is evidence of the subtle truth of the Divine in Creation, of God. One of the great expressions of God is the natural flow of energy transformation in the universe. You need to realize the constancy and patterns occurring in your own life, as found in the deep nature of the universe. Awareness of this leads to recognition of one’s own immutable spiritual nature.

I am pleased to now make available to YOU :

definative

What you are about to see is staggering. That is why I call it “The Definitive Biblical phenomena” . The only explanation of this phenomena is that it is “the work of God” as you shall see.

People ask why should I believe in God. , Why should I believe what’s written in the Bible, is from God? Why should I accept the Bible as the word of God more than any other religious book ?. I will tell you, even more than this. I will show you. You will see how it all adds up, as we will see!

I will begin by explaining to you a few things, and then we will examine “The Definitive Biblical phenomena”. There is a ancient teaching in the Oral tradition that the Bible is learned and explained by 32 methods. The 29th of these 32 methods is called gematria (numerology). It is taught that the numerical values of the Hebrew letters were given to Moses at Mount Sinai.

Hebrew is the Divine language of the Bible, it’s the original language of the Torah. It is the code and the conduit through which God created and re-creates and sustains everything that is. We will discover just how true this is in the following pages. Before we look at the “The Definitive Biblical phenomena” in Hebrew, the Original language of the Bible. Hebrew is called the “Holy Tongue”, and we will see and come to know why. We shall look at the “The Definitive Biblical phenomena” using English. In English the Letter to number correspondence is :

A=1,b=2,c=3,d=4,e=5,f=6,g=7,h=8,i=9,j=10,k=11,l=12,m=13,n=14,o=15,p=16,q=17,r=18,s=19,t=20,u=21,v=22,w=23,x=24,y=25,z=26

To start with know :

Bible=30=Peace

as it is written :

“Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.”

(Proverbs 3:17)

Israel=64= True=Chosen

A true Bible=95=The Torah=I God word

The Bible=63=A Torah

Jewish Bible=104=A Holy Book

Now this is not a coincidence

We also find, Wisdom=83=Prayer

It is a wise thing to pray and there is a Wisdom to the method of prayer itself.

Now I will show you a sign of the “The Definitive Biblical phenomena” . This group of expressions directs us to the fact that there is a Biblical code. All of the phrases that follow have a numerical value of 153. These things have no statistical right to even exist. This is “the work of God.”

     6שכר    (520)+  יאהדונה”י (91)   =תורה=11

Reward of Yhv”h Adon”y = Torah

There is a expression “you cannot have your cake and eat it too”, but this does not apply to Torah. As we see from our equation :

Reward of Yhv”h Adon”y (Lord God)= Torah

By fulfilling the commands of the Torah we know we will be rewarded. As its written concerning reward of the Torah “ The fruits of which a man enjoys in this world, while the principle remains for him in the World to Come.” (Seder Zeraim, Tractate Peah: Chapter 1, Mishnah ) so we see fulfilling Torah has a reward in this world, but the greatest part of the reward will be in the world to come. The Spiritual life that will follow this existence. It is also interesting that Bina Divine understanding is known in Kabbalah as the “world to come”. Its also written “the reward of a mitzvah (command) is the mitzvah itself.” Mitzvah means “joining,” “attachment,” “connection.” Whoever performs a mitzvah becomes joined to the Essence of God – may He be blessed – the One Who issues that particular command. This is the meaning of “The reward of a mitzvah is the mitzvah (itself)”: 1 When one performs a mitzvah, he/she becomes attached to the Ultimate Goodness and Essence of the Eyn Sof (infiniteness of God) Who ordained the command – and that is in itself reward. Which again is like our equation:

PARZUFIM

General Parzufim

There are 5 parzufim of Atzilut. Each contains 5 parzufim. Each has 613 parts and is in the image of man.1 These parts include 248 limbs and 365 sinews. Each parzuf has 7 ”Hachalot” (palaces). Each and every parzuf of A”k, Atzilut Bria Yetzera and Asiyah includes the parzufim called : Brain, Bone, Sinews, skin and  parzuf Flesh. 2 The 11 spices of incense correspond to 11 gaps between the parzufim. Rabbi Yakov Abuchitzera teaches that there are 11 main sparks, curses, and spices in the incense and they correspond to Abba, imma, Yisrael Saba, Tevunah and the 7 sefirot of Zu’n of Bria Yetzera and Asyiah.3 11 sefirot are 11 aspects of the kings who died. They are 7 from Zu”n and 4 from the back of Abba Imma and Yesoit.4 Rabbi Shalom Sharabi teaches מ”החדש went out to make tikun of All the parzufim of Atzilut cleansing Atzilut of Nikudot. Making klipa Noga of Atzilut (real soul food-מ”החדש made and makes the sparks rise) being The Nashama and its life force. Making Klipot Nogah of Bria of Good and Evil.

A=1,b=2,c=3,d=4,e=5,f=6,g=7,h=8,i=9,j=10,k=11,l=12,m=13,n=14,o=15,p=16,q=17,r=18,s=19,t=20,u=21,v=22,w=23,x=24,y=25,z=26

To start with know :

Bible=30=Peace

as it is written :

“Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.”

(Proverbs 3:17)

Israel=64= True=Chosen

You will be amazed

WHY DEFORMED AND CONSERVATIVE JUDAISM IS WRONG
July 19, 2012, 12:58 pm
Filed under: Torah | Tags: ,

So-called modern thought clouds people’s understanding and this greatconfusion is compounded by there appearing to be several versions of Judaism. All this is far from the truth, for the Torah is ancient, having been transmitted in unbroken succession since the time of Moses, and one can only do harm by disregarding the commandment “Do not add or subtract from this law” (Deut. 13: 1). We have seen the consequences in this generation: unprecedented assimilation and spiritual annihilation. Contemporary attitudes only rob our brothers and sisters of their spiritual heritage, by letting them believe they are living as they should, fulfilling what their Creator has asked of them-when in reality the glory of the holy Sabbath has passed them by. As the Rambam1 taught in the Mishneh Torah,2 “Moses received all the mitzvot (commandments) (Ex. 24: 12). ‘And I give to you the Tablets of Stone, and the Law and the Commandment.’ The Law refers to the Written Torah; the Commandment to the Oral Torah, its explanation. Moses taught the whole of it in his court to the Seventy Elders, as well as to Joshua. Pinchas received it from Joshua; Eli from Pinchas; Samuel from Eli; David from Samuel; Ahiyah from David; Elijah from Ahiyah; Elisha from Elijah;

  2. The Book of Knowledge

Jehoiada from Elisha; Zachariah from Jehoiada; Hosea from Zachariah; Amos from Hosea; Isaiah from Amos; Micah from Isaiah; Joel from Micah; Nahum from Joel; Hebakkuk from Nahum; Zephaniah from Habakkuk; Jeremiah from Zephaniah; Baruch from Jeremiah; Ezra from Baruch; Shimon HaTzaddik from Ezra; Antigonus from Shimon HaTzaddik; Yoseph ben Yoezer and Yoseph ben Yochanan from Antigonus; Yehoshua and Nittai from Yoseph ben Yoezer and Yoseph ben Yochanan; Yehuda and Shimon from Yehoshua and Nittai; Shemaiah and Avtaliah from Yehuda and Shimon; Hillel and Shammai from Shemaiah and Avtaliah; Rabban Shimon from his father, Hillel. and from Shammai; Rabban Gamaliel the Elder from his father Rabban Shimon; Rabbi Shimon from his father Rabban Gamaliel the Elder; our teacher, Rebbe Yehuda the Prince, from his father Rabbi Shimon; Rabbi Yochanan, Rav, and Shmuel from Rebbe Yehudah the Prince; Rav Huna from Rabbi Yochanan, Rav, and Shmuel; Rabbah from Rav Huna; Rava from Rabbah; and Rav Ashi received the Torah from Rav. All the sages mentioned here were the great men of the successive generations. Besides them, there were thousands and myriads of disciples and fellow students. Ravina and Rav Ashi closed the list of the sages of the Talmud. The Talmud is an exposition of the Mishnah, which was compiled by our teacher, Rebbe Yehuda the Prince. The Talmud elucidates the abstruse points of the Mishnah, explaining what is permitted and forbidden, what is unclean and what is clean, what is unfit and what is fit, all in accordance with the traditions received by the sages from their predecessor in unbroken succession up to the teaching of Moses, “father of all prophets.”

The above is the true tradition of the Torah as it was passed down generation to generation.

The fundamental difference between a Orthodox outlook and the Conservative Judaism outlook is that according to the Orthodox the Torah is divine. End of story.

The Conservative movement, by way of contrast, rejects the idea that any part of the Torah is divine (both oral and written). Both are the products of man, with varying degrees of “divine inspiration” That is a big difference.

The prophets were Divinely inspired and they were many. The sages tell us that the few works of the Prophets have now are but a small sample of the many prophets who lived and spoke to Yisrael.

The Torah is completely unique. The Rambam in Moreh (II:39) explains that the prophesy of Moses was unique. As it is written “If there is a prophet among you, I the Lord will make myself known to him in a vision, and will speak to him in a dream. Not so with my servant Moses, for he is the trusted one in all my house. With him I speak mouth to mouth, manifestly, and not in dark speech” (numbers 12) Rabbi Soloveitchik explained that Torah is categorically distinct from prophecy. No other Prophet created or could create Torah except for Moses.

The Conservative movement sees no difference between the Divine inspiration of Moshe, Jeremiah, perhaps even the Talmudic sages, etc. The Conservative movement believes their human hand was guided to compose great works of inspiration that contained the truth of Judaism.

Orthodox Judaism holds that the Torah is unique. The significance of the event of Mount Sinai is that a new CATEGORY of revelation introduced into the world that transcended any other prophecy or Divine inspiration. Therefore the giving of the Torah could only occur through Moses , the only Prophet who attained this level of Revelation.

A keystone of the ancient faith of the Hebrew People

is condemning the worship of “images”.

This is a attitude that was incomprehendable to the Greeks and the Romans.

They could not understand a imageless faith.

Nitzavim and Vayelech are considered 1 Parsha. When there are two Shabbotot between Rosh Hashanah and Sukkos, we split them, however they are generally considered one Parsha. Thus, there are 53 Parshiyos in the Torah, like the gematria of the word “Gan” – garden, referring to “Gan Aden” (The Garden of Eden).

Did God give Moses a Torah with precisely that number of letters we have in Torah’s of today? We do not know for sure but we know that it was very close to that number. In the Torah, there are at most a dozen or two instances where a letter is under question. This means that the Torah text we have is over 99.99% correct.. How can this be as the Zohar Chadash tells us otherwise it seems.

The Zohar Chadash teaches on the Song of Songs (74d), that there are 600,000 letters in the Torah. In other places its written that these letters correspond to 600,000 Jewish soul roots.This is difficult to understand as the Gemara in Kiddushin 30a says that there are 5,888 verses in the Torah. Even if each verse had 100 letters, and a quick check will reveal that the average is well below that, the Torah would still have less than 600,000 letters

Our Torahs have 304,805 letters.

This can be verified by counting and is recorded by the famous 10th century Masorete Aharon Ben Asher in his Dikdukei Taamim. Now how could the Torah the Zohar is referring to have almost twice as many letters as the one we have now. We have ancient Bibles like the Septuagint (third century BCE) and the Samaritan Torah (from before Ezra) that are almost identical to our texts. This clearly shows the authenticity of the current text of the Torah we have now.

So Zohar when saying there are are 600,000 letters in the Torah must be talking about something mystical and not simply a letter count of the Physical letters of the Torah. This should be fairly obvious anyway as the Zohar is a kabbalistic book. I remember seeing this explain by the fact that some letters are formed from a composite of letters like we see in Safer Temuna that the letter ל is made of a כ  and a ו upon it. This probably brings us to the are 600,000 letters in the Torah.

As the Torah is the “Blue print of creation” its interesting to know :

Great secrets must be hidden in these counts.

There is also the matter of  “chaser and yeter.” There are certain words in Hebrew that can be spelled with (yeter) or without (chaser) an assisting letter to give its vowel sound. The presence or absence of this letter make no difference in terms of meaning and pronunciation. Beginning in the 8th century, the Masoretes (those who work to preserve the tradition of correctly writing Torahs) tried to standardize the spelling of chaser and yeter words by recording them in their masoretic notes. Another matter involving the accuracy of our Torah scrolls involves slight discrepancies between Torahs where some words spelling is a matter of dispute. In the Torah itself, there are two major questions. Genesis 9:29 has a word that may be spelled ויהי or ויהיו. Ashkenazi Torahs have the former and Yemenite Torahs have the latter. The difference is between singular and plural and is insignificant enough to be lost in translation from Hebrew to English. Small as it is, it is still a difference. Similarly, there is a question in Deuteronomy 23:2 whether a word should be spelled דכא or דכה. Here, there is no difference in meaning at all. Over 99.99% of the spellings in the have never been questioned, variations are not acceptable.

Thus less than one hundredth of a percent that is under question.

Now there may be no question at all for example a Torah based on an ancient tradition that was in the minority cannot be summarily rejected. For example, a Torah that has Genesis 9:29 written as ויהיו, based on the minority Yemenite tradition, cannot be considered unacceptable. While it should not be written that way, a Yemenite scribe who followed his tradition and wrote it that way did so based on an ancient masora. This variant may be one aspect of the 70 faces of the Torah and it is also correct.

Above we brought down the Gemara in Kiddushin that there are 5,888 verses in the Torah. Our Torahs have 5,845 verses rather than the 5,888 stated in the Gemara.

The Gemara also says that Psalms has an additional eight verses and Chronicles has eight less.

If we add Torah verses found in  the  Psalms and Chronicles, to the count of verses in the Torah then we arrive at the number cited by the Gemara.

That Gemara in Kiddushin  also teaches that the vav of gachon (Leviticus 11:42) is the middle of the letters of the Torah.

Darosh darash (Leviticus 10:16) is the middle of the words of the Torah, and the ayin of miyaar (Psalms 80:14) is the middle letter of Psalms.

Simply counting the letters and words shows that everything on the list is incorrect.  For the “vav” of gachon to be the middle of the Torah, the Torah would need another 9,667 letters ?

So what are we really talking about here ?

R. Yitzchak Yosef Zilber (in Shmaatin issue 43) explains that.if we count the small and large letters found in the Torah there are 16 of these letters. The ninth, the middle one, is the “vav” of gachon. The Gemora  is referring to the middle of all the unusually large and small letters in the Torah..

It is most interesting that there is another tradition concerning the large and small letters, from R’ Yosef Tov Elem. According to that tradition there are 32 such letters and the sixteenth is vav of gachon.

There are seven unusually large and small letters in Psalms and the fourth – the middle letter – is ayin of miyaar., just like the Gemora teaches !

Similarly, there are 77 instances of double words in the Torah (like Avraham Avraham and Lech Lecha). Of those 77 cases, the 39th instance – the middle one – is darosh darash. It is not the middle of all the words in the Torah but it is the middle of all the unusual double-words.

Parsha Nasso   is the longest parsha in the Torah. It is has 176 pessukim. It is interesting to note that the longest chapter of Tehillim (Psalms,  chapter 119, also has 176 pessukim. Furthermore, the longest  Gomorrah is Baba Basra, and it has 176 pages.
