THE SAGES SAY THIS IS THE BEGINNING OF THE FINAL REDEMPTION, THERE WILL NOT BE ANOTHER EXILE FROM THE HOLY LAND !

There is a famous story about Rav Yitzchak Herzog, the Chief Rabbi of Israel at the time of the Second World War, who refused to listen to even the most influential of personalities, who feared and pleaded with him not to return to “Palestine”. Despite the fact that German Field-Marshall Erwin Rommel, had already succeeded in conquering most of North Africa, Rav Herzog countered assuredly that his troops will be stopped before reaching the Holy Land. He explained with confidence that we have a Jewish tradition that there will never be another destruction of the Jewish settlement in Israel. We are now witness to the final redemption, and there simply cannot be another exile.

“My Beloved is like a deer”

Just as the deer is visible, then disappears, then is seen once again, so too is the Mashiach”. Rav Hai Gaon learned this from the verse:

“your sin has ended daughter of Zion, He won’t continue to exile you, your sin has been remembered daughter of Edom, your sin has been revealed”.(Eicha 4:22)

There will be no further exile from the Holy land.
Rashi says on this verse. ‘you won’t continue to be exiled’ – “from the exile of Edom and onwards” and the Vilna Gaon cite a tradition that even when the Mashiach comes, many will not believe him! Occasional setbacks do not change chazal’s (the sages) decision that the return to Zion in our time is the beginning of our redemption and that, indeed, there will not be another exile.

A formidable list of great leaders who unabashedly declared that the present return to Zion is indeed the beginning of redemption, including the Chafetz Chayim, the Netziv, the Yeshu’ot Malko, the Malbim,R. Baruch Epstein (author of the Torah Temima),Rav Kook,Rav Yitzchak Isaac Herzog, Rav Ben-Zion Uziel, Rav Shlomo Zalman Auerbach, Rav Yehoshua Landau (Rabbi of Bnei Brak), Rav Tzvi Pesach Frank,Rav Y.M Tikochinski, Rav Zalman Sorotzkin (famed head of Va’ad Hayeshivot), Rav Yechezkel Sarna (Rosh Yeshiva of Chevron), Rav Shlomo Yosef Zevin, Rav Hillel Posek, Rav Unterman, R. Ovadia Hadaya (author of Resp. Yaskil Avdi),the Husiaton Rebbe, and Rav Y. S. Kahanaman (Rosh Yeshivat Ponevitz) . “It is written in Yalkut Shimoni, Hoshea “ I answered her there like in the days of her youth and like the day that she went up from the land of Egypt”, just as 600, 000 left Egypt and 600, 000 entered the Land of Israel, also in the days of Mashiach it will be with 600, 000.” The Vilna Gaon in the Introduction to Kol HaTor writes “This number of 600, 000 has great power to defeat the powers of evil at the gates of Yerushalayim, and then the complete redemption will arrive in a miraculous form on heavenly clouds”.Just as Rav Herzog felt the need in his generation to repeat this guarantee and to emphasize that it is possible to “bank” on it and even to act accordingly, it is also important to do so today. At this time of national crisis, with the understandable fall in morale in wake of the fiascos in Gush Katif, the Second Lebanon War, the pitifully immoral and “galuti” national leadership, the shelling in Sderot, the nuclear threat from Iran, it is particularly important to strengthen the moral of the people, to look at the events with a wise eye – realistic and believing at the same time – and not with a pessimistic and unbelieving eye. As when we come across difficulties, we must remember that there are birth pangs (of redemption). In “Eim HaBanim Semeicha”, “HaTekufa HaGedolah” and “Ayelet HaShachar” reminds us quoting :

” Will I begin labor and not give birth says YHV”H, will I give birth and stop in the middle says ELOHECH”A. (Your God) ” (Isaiah 66:9)

These words of chazal were meant “davka” for our generation , FOR A TIME LIKE NOW  and we would be wrong to ignore them.

The skeptics may not be aware of their divisiveness !

R. Yechiel Ya’akov Weinberg, author of Resp. Sridei Eish, who wrote that he believes with complete faith that the State of Israel is Hashem’s answer to the six million souls who gathered around His throne after the Holocaust and requested a clear sign of His love and protection for His children, and of the beginning of redemption. R. Abba says that there is no more greater sign of the imminent REDEMPTION AND THE END OF DAYS than that which is written, “And you, mountains of Israel, give forth your branches, and carry forth your fruit, for My Nation of Israel” (Ezek 36:8). This is the clearest sign that the “end of days” is near.Throughout all the generations exile all the nations failed to make the land of Israel “A Land of wheat, and barley, vineyards and figs, and pomegranates, a Land of olives and dates” but the whole period of exile has been one of desolation in the Holy land, the subsequent sudden fruition upon the Jewish return, is much more than remarkable. The Ramban  and Radak wrote 700 years ago that the government which will rise will come to be with the permission of the nations of the world. At the time of their writing, the idea that those gentile Jew-haters would be sympathetic towards our needs was definitely understood in a miraculous fashion. The Maharal says, the signs of redemption are the return to Israel the gathering, unification of the nation and independence . Anyone who isn’t amazed by the fulfillment of these sources is making a concerted conscious effort to deny reality, or lacks understanding.

Realize that the in gathering of exiles is the opposite of exile but activity of REDEMPTION !

Throughout history there has been few attempted “mass” aliyot and they were relatively rare, small and unsuccessful. They amount to 300 tosafists attempting aliya in the year 4971/1211, several hundred expelled from Spain (5252/1492), and 1,500 with R. Yehuda Chasid in 5461/1700.

What we are experiencing now is something different

As the aliyah (coming to Israel) of 40,000 Jews in the 17 years between the first Zionist Congress and WWI, the 3rd and 4th aliyot (between ’19 and ’29- an additional 122,000) , and the “fifth” aliya of 200,000 before the Holocaust. The Jewish population in Israel more than doubled in the four years following the declaration of independence: from 665,000 in 5/48, to 1,330,000 in 6/51 to over 1,425,000 by 5/52, “closing up” most of the Jewish communities in Europe, Africa, and Asia! The recent stream of more than 1,200,000 olim (80% halachically Jewish) after the fall of the Soviet Union in 5749/1989, another 70,000 from Ethiopia, Yugoslavia and Bulgaria in (especially in ’91), over 100,000 from North America (almost all since the Six Day War), and large aliyot today from South Africa, Argentina and France, make the present 7.145 million in Israel.

This makes the land of Israel, the largest Jewish population in the world today, for the first time since the exile of the 10 tribes 2,700 years ago. Anyone who doesn’t call the above “in gathering of the exiles” is denying reality !

The “JABBOK” ——- The JABBOK river-THERE Biblical Jacob fought the Devil and won !

YAVAK

The  Biblical Jacob crossed the JABBOK river on his way to Canaan. There he fought the angel called the ס”ם, also known as the Adversary , the Satan and won.

WHATS THIS WHOLE THING REALLY ABOUT !

The JABBOK river or in Hebrew  יַבֹּק is a tributary of the Jordan from the east, the first river south of the Yarmuk. The Hebrew name is derived either from the root meaning  a sound imitating the noise of water flowing over pebbles. Some identify  the JABBOK river with The Zarqa River is identified with the biblical Biblical Jacob crossed the Jabbok on his way to Canaan, after leaving Harran. It leads west into the Sukkot Valley, from where one crosses over the Jordan and can easily reach Shechem, as Jacob eventually did. Its modern name is Wady Zirka. But there are those who say that the river is fordable at many points, save when in full flood. The particular ford referred to in Genesis 32 cannot now be identified. But it is said that the Modern City in Israel called  Adam or Tel ed-Damiyeh, A city on the Jordan River beside Zarethan mentioned in the Bible in Josh 3:16 with the parting of the Jordan. It is also mentioned in and Hosea 6:7. The city has been identified by many with Tel ed-Damiyeh on the western bank of the river, just below the mouth of the Jabbok and about 18 miles north of Jericho. In the Book of Joshua 3:16 it states that “The waters which came down from above stood [and] rose up upon an heap very far from the city Adam, that [is] beside Zaretan: and those that came down toward the sea of the plain, [even] the salt sea, failed, [and] were cut off: and the people passed over right against Jericho.”

The ADAM, or could be translated CITY OF “red” is  A city in the middle of the Jordan valley near “ZARETHAN” (Josh 3:16), The name probably survives at the Damieh Ford, near the mouth of the Jabbok twenty miles above Jericho. An Arabian historian asserts that about 1265 AD the Jordan was here blocked by a land slide. The inner gorge of the Jordan is here narrow with high banks which would facilitate such an obstruction as permitted the waters to “pile up” above to Adam and run out below, permitting Joshua’s host to cross on dry land.https://www.bible-history.com/isbe/A/ADAM,+CITY+OF/

Also the City of Adam stood “beside Zarethan”  on the east bank of the Jordan is called “Damia”. According to the Book of Joshua, the flow of the water was arrested, and rose up “upon an heap” at the time of the Israelites passing over.

YABBOK in Hebrew also means a ford in a river , a place where people may pass over the river at that spot. A ford is a shallow place with good footing where a river or stream may be crossed by wading, or inside a vehicle getting its wheels wet.  Fords may be impassable during high water.

What we are really talking about is how to Ford a River  , how to make a safe and successful river crossing. IN THIS CASE A SPIRITUAL ONE— HERE IS A MAP— ENOUGH FOR THOSE WHO UNDERSTAND …………

יבק  ( Jabbok = 112)

112=יאהלוההים =   3 + שיר ליום השבת =יבק = 112 =סוד גואל+2=יום יום=אהיה יהוה אדני=

IN ENGLISH THE ABOVE IS

112= ADN”Y +YHV”H + AHY”H= EACH AND EVERYDAY= SECRET OF REDEMPTION= SONG OF THE SABBATH DAY = YHVH+ ELOHEME

THIS IS HOW TO The “JABBOK” – CROSS THE SPIRITUAL RIVER—- FIGHT THE NEGATIVE FORCES AND WIN !

JUDAISM IS UNLIKE ANY OTHER RELIGION !
May 22, 2019, 11:37 am
Filed under: Israel, Jews, KUZARI, PROOF OF GOD, Torah, Uncategorized | Tags: , ,

kuz

this concerns the disputation, argument made defending the faith of Israel to the king of the Kuzari in the 1100s , that brought about the acceptance of torah Judaism by the kuzari people

Rabbi Yehuda Ha-Levi in his book The Kuzari explains that our belief and obligation to God came into being as a result of an encounter that cannot be denied specific historic event where God acted on our behalf in a supernatural way. Leaving us with absolute certainty regarding His existence and powers.

When the Rabbi was asked about his belief, he responded to the king of the Khazars as follows:

I believe in the God of Avraham, Yitzchak, and Israel, who led the children of Israel out of Egypt with signs and miracles; who fed them in the desert and gave them the land, after having made them traverse the sea and the Jordan in a miraculous way; who sent Moshe with His law, and subsequently thousands of prophets, who confirmed His law by promises to the observant, and threats to the disobedient. Our belief is comprised in the Torah – a very large domain. (Kuzari, I, 11)

PARSHA Toldot

Our parsha is called “Toldot” (off spring). We see a pattern imerging Isaac, like Abraham finds himself forced by famine to go to Gerar, in the land of the Philistines. There, like Abraham, he senses that his life may be in danger because he is married to a beautiful woman. He fears that he will be killed so that Rebecca can be taken into the harem of king Avimelekh. The couple  pass themselves off as brother and sister. The deception is discovered, Avimelekh is indignant, explanations are made, and the moment passes. Genesis 26 reads almost like a replay of Genesis 20, that happened a generation before. Also Avimelekh says to Yitzchak, “you have become too powerful for us.” Centuries later, Pharaoh says, at the beginning of the book of Exodus, “Behold, the people of the children of Israel are greater in number and power than we are. Come on, let us deal wisely with them, lest they multiply and it come to pass, when there befall any war, that they join also with our enemies and fight against us, and so get them up out of the land” (1:9–10). The same word, “atzum” (power) appears in both cases.

This idea of the Jewish people being too “powerful” mentioned in both our passages are interesting as this is also one of the most common excuses for one of the deadliest of human phenomena, anti-Semitism.

There are those who say God is only love, God does not hate. The God said by His prophet ” I loved Jacob; but Esau I hated” (Malachi 1) Because Esau deliberately chose a course of wickedness. So the Prophet says of Esau ” They shall be called the border of wickedness” (Malachi 1, 4). From the side of Esav comes Amalek, the enemy  of The God and Israel as it says “God has war with Amalek from generation to generation” (Ex 17:6).

In the Torah its written “There were two boys in her womb. The first to come out was completely red, and clothed in hair; so he was called Esav. After this, his brother came out, with his hand grasping Esav’s heel; so he was named Yakov” (Gen. 25:24-26). Esav is described as having a body covered with ” Seir” Hair, this is as that of demons who are said to have hair all over their body but are bald on their heads. It’s also written in the Torah: “They must no longer offer sacrifices to the “Seirim” (Demons)” (Vayikra 17:7). The word for hair has the same root as the word in the verse above describing demons.===This is so as Esav comes from the side of ס“ם (evil).

Asev is called a cunning hunter. Because he tries to  pass himself off as a hardworking, honest, and reliable. The Midrash compares Asev to a pig which has split hooves (Midrash Tehillim 80:6), but one the inside, his “midot” personality he is 100% “treif” (unkosher). This is what makes the Asev.s of the world so very dangerous. The sages tell us that In the Time-to-Come, Asev will don his “tallit” (prayer shawl) and sit among the righteous in “Gan Aden”. However, God “knows the mysteries of the world and the workings of the heart” will see right through Asev and, “The Holy One, Blessed be He, will drag him from them.” (Talmud Yerushalmi, Nedarim 12a)

Things are not as the appear. From a superficial reading of the Bible in our parsha it looks like Yaakov does evil by deceiving his father by dressing up to appear as Asev to get the blessing his father, Yitzchak intends to give to Asev. Such a act would certainly find great disfavor, but we see this is not so as at the end of the parasha, Isaac sends Yakov to Padan Aram to find a wife, and bestows on him Abraham’s blessing that he will inherit the land: “And Isaac called Jacob and blessed him…And God Almighty bless you and make you fruitful, and multiply you, that you may be a congregation of nations, and give you the blessing of Abraham, to you and to your seed with you, that you may inherit the land of your dwelling that God gave unto Abraham”. (Genesis 28:1-4). Obviously the actions of Yakov did not find disfavor with his father Yitzchak. From this we can learn a lesson to apply in our own lives. In truth Yakov did nothing wrong as Yakov was coming in the place of Asev to receive the blessings that he  had bought. So it was not wrong for him to say “I am Asev” since he had bought the right to stand in for Asev and get Asev’s Blessings that he had already paid for. . Rivka and Yaakov act selflessly and heroically to continue the tradition of Avraham. They jeopardize their personal relationship with Yitzchak in order to save the future of Klal Yisrael.

Ya’ạqov’s impersonating Ẹsav is one of the stranger stories in the Torah. This reminds us of Purim.

The parsha begins describing how Yaakov when he was born came out holding on to Asev’s Heel. Because of this he was called Yaakov, which comes from the world “akev” heel. Asev has been fighting against Yaakov since the time he was born. It is written: “In the womb he took his brother by the heel” (Hosea 12:4 ), We see from here that Asev tried to pull down Yaakov from his spiritual superiority even before they were born, and he has not stopped to this day. Amalak is a direct descendent of Asev. And of Him its written : “God has war with Amalek from generation to generation” (Ex 17:6). In the end Amalek will be destroyed forever !

Yaakov was the first to be father of twelve sons who were all righteous, and thus he became the father of the Jewish people.

It is explained in the Zohar that when Yaakov descended to Egypt, Adam’s soul entered him. Until he came to Egypt, Yaakov’s life was a long series of troubles. As Rashi lists them:

The trouble of Laban ,who deceived him and tried to steal from him, the trouble with Esau who tried to kill him, the trouble with Rachel his favorite wife, died in childbirth, the trouble with Dinah who was raped by Shechem, the trouble with Joseph his favorite son, who was sold and who he thought was dead, the trouble with Simeon who was detained in Egypt, the trouble with Benjamin who Joseph demanded be brought to Egypt. It was from successfully dealing with all these troubles that Yaakov was able to reveal the Nashama of Adam.

When Yaakov arrives in the house of Lavan, he is fooled at night, when his vision is impaired, and the elder daughter switches the younger. After having fooled his blind elderly father, his protest, “Why did you fool me” (29:25), rings hollow. Lavan’s response, “We do not act that way here, to give the younger before the older” (verse 26), hints to the way Yaakov had acted there. He remains in Haran, subject to Lavan’s deceptiveness, for the next twenty years. Yaakov tricked his father by wearing the skin of a goat on his arms. Similarly, when Yosef is sold by his brothers, his children trick Yaakov into thinking that Yosef was killed with the blood of a goat. This is all obvious providence . Yaakov spent twenty-two years mourning the supposed “death” of Yosef.

In this world Yaakov who is the Jewish people only emulate or appear similar to the people of Asev, the western world which is represented by asev’s heel. This being only a small part of their physical actions. Yaakov like Asev may work in jobs, eat food and reproduce yet only in the outward physical appearance does he do these functions like Asev. The foot represents Malchut. The physical manifestation yet even of this Yaacov only grasps only Asev’s heel, not his entire foot. Only in appearance sometimes does Yaakov perform physical functions like Asev. But in the realm of emotions, thought and needless to say spiritual motivation there is no compare. Spiritually is awareness and participation in the return of the Divine energy to its source, and the flow of this energy outward giving life animating our world, whether for healing, renewal or just finding a better taste in your food as all good comes from God. All happiness in life is there. The process of returning is also called repentance. such is the nature of the universe. Every thing returns to its root . Which is directly attached to its source. It is to be attached to the Infinite. The Eternal essence of the universe. Which is as a unfailing fountain of life that flows forever.

As to Yaakov the only purpose of being in this world and the underlying cause of all his actions is to serve The God. Thus it says ” And I will make your seed multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give to your seed all these countries; and in your seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; Because Avraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.” (26:4-5) Thus we must follow in The God’s ways to hasten this blessing.

It says in the Zohar that the world is as a living body. This is evident when we see that when Asev showed complete disregard for his birthright and sold it there was immediately after a famine in the land. If Asev is removed from his bond with Yaakov he becomes Asev “ha Rusha” It says in Pesicta that it is the job of Edom who is Asev to try to push Yisrael off the Torah path. When Edom disregards natural law founded on the love of their fellow men and makes the world a place of vicious competition “ a dog eat dog world” none can stand. This is why Yisrael must be a light to the nations. As the complete negation by Asev of his source of spiritual inspiration reveals Edom which represents his blood thirsty nature, The God should help us.

The sages tell us in Midrash Tanchuma and Rashi Bereishis that in many ways our matriarchs had a greater understanding and even deeper prophetic vision than their husbands. Sarah discerned the danger of leaving Yishmael in the household, while Avraham was biased and did not want to send away his son. In Zohar 1:137b we learn that Rivka understood the nature of  Asev better than Yitzchak did, she realized  Asev is a wicked son. Rivka received this prophesy when she went to the Yeshiva (School) of Shem and Ever. Why did Rivka go to the yeshiva of Shem and Ever for advice, when the greatest spiritual figure of her generation was her husband Yitzchak ? The midrash teaches that as the twins grew up, Rivka could not tell Yizchak about Esav’s evil deeds and just how far he had gone in his wickedness, lest Yitzchak blame her for having brought that evil soul from the house of Betuel and Lavan.  Rivka’s regular practice was therefore to praise Esav before Yitzchak.

Matters continued in this way until the time came for Yitzchak to bless Esav thanks to her own words of praise of Esav over the years, and she understood that she had to correct the warped situation that she, herself had created by hiding the truth from her husband. Here a lie for the sake of peace which at times is permissible was the wrong move . Yitzchak and Rivka booth strove to influence Esav to be true to Torah, but all their words were rejected as the true nature of Esav Detested holiness. The Midrash states (Sifri on Bereishiet 33:4), “There is a well-known rule that Esav hates Ya’akov.” Esav’s soul was the total opposite of Ya’akov’s, just as impurity is the opposite of purity. , Isaac is the only one of the Patriarchs who was born, bred, and lived his entire life in the Land of Israel.

In the Bible Yishmael and Aisav, each  have demonstrated their inner hatred towards Yakov and The God’s chosen people. However, when they function together against the Jewish nation, the dangers multiply exponentially, which arouses HaShem to act in His miraculous manner to save His chosen nation. In our parasha Toldot, Aisav joins forces with Yishmael when Aisav marries Machalat, daughter of Yishmael.

This inner hatred towards Yakov and The God’s chosen people is inherent in the Second World War in the collusion of the Arabs (Yishmoyal) led by the Mufti Haj Amin Husseini with Hitler in the Holocaust. It was also tactical Arab strategic policy to “cleanse” the land of its Jewish population.

This inner hatred towards Yakov and The God’s chosen people was inherent in England’s closure policy of The Holy land to Jewish immigration. Not even allowing those trying to escape the Holocaust to enter Israel when they had no other place to go !

Now we also see this inner hatred towards Yakov and The God’s chosen people with the joining of Aisav (the West) and Yishmael (Muslims) through the UN and its anti-Semitic policies which continue to try to weaken and destroy the Jewish State. This inner hatred towards Yakov and The God’s chosen people that Asev and Yismoyal share will do them no good and they did not succeed to do the evil they intend to do to the Jewish people  in the future.

Yakov, refers to degree of “Katnut” (small consciousness). This exists because a person has not moved forward risen above their ego, so to hold the will of God above their own., or even more have them become one.  “katnut” is a result of broken Kelim (vessels) and lack of development. When Yaakov reaches selfless expanded consciousness he is called Yisrael. In the state of expanded consciousness called “Gadlut” one has more vessels of bestowal. “Yisrael” means Yashar El (straight to God). He is called “Israel” Yashar El (straight to God), as he has the potential power to dominate the whole of creation, in a way bestowal, giving and sharing !

There is another way that is far from the God as it is written, “They are all as beasts” (Psalms, 49:13). These do not engage in correction of their souls.

In this parsha is described how the Palestinians envied Yitzchak’s properity so they blocked up Yaakov’s wells. This envy finally resulted in the king of the Palestinians asking Yitzchak to leave his country. So it has been in our exile. The properity of the Hebrew people is often followed by their persecution. Yitchak dug out the well’s of his father Avraham that the Palestinians had blocked up. He named the first well “Esek” which means contention. This well is said to correspond to the first Temple. The first temple was destroyed primarily because of idolatry which resulted in contention and division among the Jewish people. This contention eventually split Yisrael to 2 kingdoms. Finally all this resulted in the nations having contention with us and destroying the Temple. The 2nd well he dug out he called ”Sitnah” which means hatred. Because he had to fight much with the Palestinians as they hated him over it. This well corresponds to the 2nd temple which was destroyed because of baseless hatred. The influence of Hellenism divided the people and they developed baseless hatred which is still with us today. The next well he called ’”Rachavot” meaning wideness as in this place there was no strife. The sages say this corresponds to the 3rd Temple. This reminds us that we need to give each other a little breathing room, space for individuality. As in this ”wideness” we can all live together without fighting. Concerning this its written ”they strove not; and he called the name of it Wideness; and he said, For now the Yhv”h has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.” The Sni Luchot ha Brit says that it says “now” in the verse because that the building of the 3rd Temple is in our hands to accomplish. The Vilna Gaon says concerning the verse we quoted in the beginning of this parsha, “But Asev  I hated” – “this refers to a superficial part of Esau, but the essential part of him, his head, was interred with the patriarchs.”. The Zohar states that “No one in the world honoured his father as Esau honoured his.” It is for this reason Jacob, said on his reunion with Esau, “I have seen you, and it is like seeing the face of G-d” (Gen. 33: 10) Asev has the potential. Rav Kook wrote that the brotherly love of Esau and Jacob, Isaac and Ishmael, will assert itself above all the confusion that evil brought on by our bodily nature has engendered. Asev will overcome them and transform them into eternal light and compassion. So may we see this accomplished now with the end to baseless hatred and the building of the Temple with the arrival of out righteous mashiach quickly in our days.

Chayah Sarah

Avraham bought a transdimensional doorway, vortex , star gate

Not only the family of Abraham see their great forefather in the cave of Machpelah in Chevron but all of humanity that can claim connection to this place, as all of humanity is descended from Adam and Adam and Eve are also buried there.

Abraham choosing Adam’s burial place as his own acts as a reminder to us that the role of the Jewish people is to be “A light to the nations”. Even if in many ways “Yisrael is a nation that dwells alone” separate from the rest of the nations. Machpelah is there to remind us that our ancestors are very near to the dust of Adam, father of us all.

Immediately upon being told that Abraham had bound Isaac to be sacrificed, Sarah’s soul parted the world. It says in the Bible Avraham paid 400 shekals of silver to the people of Heth for the burial place of Sarah (gen. 23) in Hebron called Machpelah (the folded cave). This was equivalent in modern money to about 400 dollars, this was a highly excessive amount. For all of samaria King Omri paid 6000 shekals (kings 1 16:25), Jeremiah paid 17 shekals for a bigger plot of land (Jer. 32:9). According to Hamurabbi code average year wage of a working man at this time was 6-8 Shekals. (according at Aryh Kaplan)This was a tremendous amount of money.

Avraham had discovered the secret of that cave when pursuing the ox which he had intended to slaughter for his three guests, the angels. The ox had drawn him straight to the Cave of Machpelah (The folded cave). Avraham at that time saw a light shining in the cave and inhaled the sweet scent of Gan Eden that filled it. He heard the voices of angels exclaim ”Adam is buried here! Avraham, Yitzchak and Yaakov will rest here also!” Avraham then understood that this cave was the entrance to the Garden of Eden, and desired it for a burial place. When the soul leaves the body – it enters the Cave of the Machpelah which is where the entrance to the Garden of Eden is to be found. the Cave is full of light coming from the illumination of the Divine Presence.

The Torah does not tell us anything about Avraham’s relationship with Yitzchak after his marriage to Rivka or with his grandsons.

Avraham’s death is recorded in Genesis 25:8 and the birth of Yaakov and Esev is recorded later on in the same chapter. But the Torah does not record events in chronological order, that is know, as we can observe.

According to Genesis 25:7, Avraham lived to the age of 175 and according to Genesis 21:5 Avraham was 100 years old when Yitzhak was born, which means that Yitzchak was 75 years old when his father died. Since Isaac was forty years old when he got married and sixty when his twin sons were born, Avraham had 35 years to spend with his married son and daughter-in-law, and fifteen years to spend with his grandsons.

The midrash “fills in the blanks”. As there we learn that the day of Avraham’s death, is the same day Yaakov forced Esev to sell him the birthright. Yaakov was cooking lentils—a traditional meal for mourners—As Yaakov was beginning the mourning period for his own grandfather, Avraham.

The blessing Avraham received in his old age (Gen. 24:1) was that Esau did not rebel in his lifetime as we find in Gemore Kiddusun 5:18; b. Baba Batra 16b. On the verse that describes Yaakov cooking lentils, Rashi writes:

And on that day, Avraham died, so that he would not see Esau, his grandson, falling into bad ways.

In Genesis Rabbah (63:12), Rabbi Simon states that on the very day Avraham died, Esau committed two sins: murder and rape of a married woman; Rabbi Berechiah adds robbery to the list. Rabbi Yisrael Chait suggests that this was no coincidence, rather it was Avraham’s death that brought about Esau’s sinful behavior.

Esau saw Avraham as an image of immortality because Avraham was righteous. This image of Avraham prevented him from sinning. Esau projected upon Avraham the image of immortality. This fantasy of immortality prevented Esau from living the life of a wicked person. Upon Avraham’s death when this fantasy of immortality was shattered, so was Asev ‘s Morality. Avraham’s death had removed all impediments to Asev for sinning.

From this parsha we can learn some of the secrets of the cave of Machpelah (Translates to the “folded cave”). To do this lets go back first to parsha Lech Lecha where we find God tells Avraham to “Arise and walk through the land in the length of it and the width of it for I will give it to you.” Then Avraham removed his tent and camped in the plain of Mamre which is in Chevron and there he built a alter to GOD. After seeing all the land Avraham decided to go to this special place. “The plain of Mamre which is in Chevron and there he built a alter to GOD.”

In this weeks parsha we find “Avraham Buried Sarah in the cave of Machpelah which is before Mamre. The same is Chevron in the land of Cannan and Avraham was old well stricken in age and GOD blessed him in all things” We must ask what does it mean “the Same is Chevron in the land of Canaan” ?. And why after telling us of the burial of Sarah in Machpelah does the verse conclude saying ”GOD blessed him in all things” ?.

The name Machpelah means folded. In the Zohar we are told that the field and cave rests on a 2 fold area namely the world above and world below. Thus through this spiritual gate all souls pass when they leave this world. At this place the vail of the physical world wears thin giving one potential for greater Divine awareness. Machpelah is in Chevron also called Keryat Arba Meaning “the city of 4”. If one goes to Machpelah they will find in the cave the graves of Adam and Chava, Avraham and Sarah, Yitzchak and Rivka and Yaakov and Leah. Yuhuda gathers from the 4 corners of the earth. This is Chevron (Chevron means to join together). There in Chevron GOD requests to join them as one. As we say in the Amida “gather us together from the 4 corners of the earth”. Every man who occupies in Torah is Chevron. Keriat Arba is also called chevron it is the place the 4 corners of the earth are gathered. There dresses tohu, vohu, choshech, thum in the earth (these are the klipot, forces of concealment of the Divine light) and the 4 chyot haKodesh (angels) are revealed (through these forces of concealment of the Divine light to varying degrees according to one’s merit) in the 4 yesodot (elements). A soul dresses itself of these forces of concealment of the Divine light that are upon one’s soul when they enter the world. When they leave this world they divest them selves of these garments, some require to have removed more of these “klipot” (forces of concealment of the Divine light) that they added upon their soul by their evil behavior while being in this world, it would be better for them if this is not so . One has a certain spiritual innate awareness filtered, diminished by these forces of concealment of the Divine light one can purify their soul and have greater spiritual awareness. These klippot “tohu, vohu, choshech, thum” are involved in the idea of the green kav (beam of light) that surrounds the world.. When You say the Sma (unification meditation) with your heart mouth and thought this is Chevron (Hebron). There goes out a ruach (spirit) during saying of the Sma from the 4 letters of יהו”ה (YHV”H). This is Chevron. It is the joining of the Nashama (Higher soul), Shechina (The Divine presence), the 4 letters of יהו”ה and Keriat Arba. Galut (exile) is the opposite. The 4 galut correspond to the 4 orlah (unclean husks). Galut is separation. They are not then “one nation in the earth”, as the name יהו”ה no longer rests upon them. Death is when the Torah doesn’t rest from above, and rises from below away from the 4 yesodot. All who the Torah separates from, their Nashamah (Higher soul) is destroyed. The Nashama is the precious throne that Chevron unifies, it is the Shechinah (Divine Presence).1

Rivkah lowered her pitcher from her shoulder to her hand, before Eliezer drew near to have a sip.  Our Sages teach that this detail hints to her “tzniyus” (modesty) when serving a man.

We are told that the cave is before Mamre. This place is where earlier Avraham built a alter to GOD. The word Mamre means rebellious. This refers to the ones that were buried there first. The first to be rebellious Adam and Chava. Its also interesting to note that Mamre in Hebrew has the same letters as Amran the father of Moshe a man who never sinned. The opposite of the rebellious Adam and Chava. It will be from Amram’s son Moshe who brought down the Torah from mount Sinai that the world will be redeemed from its current rebellious state. As we learn from the Oar haChyim that the final redemption will occur in the merit of Moshe. The redemption has been so long delayed because Moshe refuses to invoke his merit, his merit being the merit of Torah study that is so lacking in these later generations. So may it be that soon in our days that we will see the realization of the blessing given to Avraham from GOD to be blessed in all things with the coming of our righteous Mashiach (Messiah) quickly in our days.

THE SECRET CAVES OF THE PATRIARCHS IN HEBRON

This is the natural opening of the Cave of Macpelah at Hebron. Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and their wives were buried here.

King Herod  built an enormous wall around the cave. And today that wall, called the Tomb of the Patriarchs, is the best preserved Herodian building anywhere in the Holy Land. The walls are massive. At the corners there are stones that are 25 feet long and five feet high and weigh around 200 tons. The stones have a margin around the edges, just like the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Herod’s builders covered the area inside the wall with a stone floor, and that floor is still in place today.

Most unfortunately, the keys to MACHPELAH and with them the responsibility, for this site was given to the Waqf, by the then Minister of Defense, Moshe Dayan. They also prevent any possibility of entering the underground tombs.

Moshe Dayan, an amateur archeologist, when realizing the consequences of his action, tried to seek information concerning the underground caverns. (Perhaps he was searching for artifacts to add to his personal collection?!) In any case, any formal or official investigation was impossible. He therefore decided upon an unusual method to quench his curiosity. Within the large hall, called “the Yitzhak Hall” there is a hole in the floor, from which candles are lowered into the cave below. According to prevalent rumors, this was an entrance into the Caves of the Machpelah themselves. However, the diameter of the hole was extremely narrow – 26 centimeters. No adult could possibly fit through this opening, but Dayan found a solution. A 12 year old girl named Michal, young but courageous, agreed to be lowered into the underground room.

One misty night, Dayan ordered the Muslim guards to leave the building. He told them that they must leave for “reasons of security”. They had no idea what was about to take place. Using the dark night as a cover, Michal was brought to the site. The opening was uncovered and Michal was lowered into the underground room. The spectators were filled with suspense and worry when the girl disappeared from sight.

Michal found herself in a round room, whose floor was covered with coins, candles, and written notes. Looking around, she saw a narrow, dark corridor, to the south. The brave girl entered this hallway and after 17 meters discovered a stairwell. In total darkness she climbed the steps. After 15 steps she found a wall blocking her way. A large stone prevented her from continuing. She tried to move the stone, but to no avail. It wouldn’t budge. Having no other choice, she turned around, descended the stairs, and headed back to the small room via the narrow corridor. There, she was lifted out of the room back into the Yitzhak Hall. She was happily received, and was totally unharmed.

stairs1

The surprised Dayan wrote out the findings and sketched the underground caves as described by the 12-year-old Michal: a circular room, a corridor, and the stairs. The caves themselves remained a mystery and were not drawn.

A group of us, from Hebron-Kiryat Arba, and in particular the staff of “Midreshet Hebron” were filled with awe at the thought of entering the underground Caves of the Machpelah. Moshe Dayan’s story piqued our curiosity and determination to find a way into the caves. We could not, of course, enter the same way that Michal entered, via the small circular entrance. However, the other side of the corridor caught our attention. She related that she had climbed stairs that were blocked off by a stone. Where could that stone be?

We measured the distance she had spoken of and revealed that the stone was on the other side of the Yitzhak hall, covered by Arab prayer-rugs. The area was always occupied by Arabs. How could we succeed in moving that stone, thereby allowing us to descend into the caves?

The Arab guards, employed by the Waqf, were not overly alert or awake at that time of night. They left their place of work and went to sleep. When we saw this, we brought with us a big chisel to the midnight prayer service. In the middle of the service, we began to sing and dance. During the dancing, some of us made our way to the Arab pray-rugs, lifted them, and revealed the stone. It was held in place by metal bars, attached to surrounding stones. We began hammering on the rock with the chisel, and after a while it began to move. Finally, the stone opened. It is difficult to describe the emotions we felt when we saw the stone move off the small opening under it. We entered, our hearts pounding with excitement. We found stairs that led down into the darkness. We descended slowly. The stairs led to a narrow, dark corridor. We walked slowly through the corridor, stooping down, using flashlights to guide our way. We reached the circular room and looked around. It was round and dark. On the wall were three stones, but no cave was visible. Where was the cave? Were all our efforts in vain?

Several minutes later an additional mystery presented itself. It seemed to us that we felt a breeze. How could this be? Blowing wind originating from above ground? Looking down at the ground we saw several stones that appeared to be stuck, one to the other. The wind seemed to be originating from between them. Within moments, emotions flying, the stones were uplifted and…. the cave – a cave of rock, leading into the earth.

entrancetocaves

We crawled in a very narrow opening into a circular cave, carved in the stone, deep in the earth. The cave was filled with dust, to its very edge. It was impossible to stand or sit, only to crawl. We continued inside until it widened, and then, a second cave. This cave was smaller than the first, but here awaited us another surprise. It was also filled with dust, but among the dust were bone and remnants of pottery scattered around, some of which were in good condition.

Wind blew in the caves, but the sounds of our hearts pounding was audible. No living being had been this close to the Patriarchs in thousands of years. Each one of us spent some time considering the significance of being in the Caves of the Patriarchs, and of prayer here, adjacent to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Sarah, Rebecca, and Leah, and even to the tombs of Adam and Eve, by the entrance to the Garden of Eden, where souls and prayers ascend. Silent prayer, in the presence of our Forefathers.

Following this tremendous spiritual experience, we began to examine the cave itself. The bones captured our attention. Were these the bones of the Patriarchs? We knew that it is written that Righteous ones, even in death, are called living, and that the Patriarchs, called the “slumberers of Hebron” wake and pray for mercy. As we investigated, it became clear that the pottery belonged to the First Temple Era, the Era of the Judean Kings. The Jews of Hebron, and the Jews of all of Judea, understanding the importance and significance of the Caves of the Machpelah, were directed to bring both the bones and the pottery into the underground caves themselves.

This discovery closed an information gap concerning the Caves of the Machpelah, continuing from the days of our Patriarch Ya’akov, the last Forefather buried in the Cave, through to the days of Herod, who built the huge structure above the Cave.

After several hours, as dawn approached, we were forced to leave these sacred caverns, so as not to be caught below. We concluded an unforgettable spiritually uplifting experience. We were privileged to reveal the underground Caves of the Machpelah, to pray there, to reveal ancient Jewish pottery from the Era of the Kingdom of Judea within the Caves, and, even if only for a few moments, united, as Sons with their Fathers.

The Macpelah at Hebron

Ze’ev Yevin of the Israel Department of Antiquities and Stanley Goldfoot were our helpful field guides during our brief 1983 radar and seismic exploration of the tomb of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Sarah Rebecca and Leah at Hebron.

The building over the traditional site of the cave purchased by the Patriarch (Genesis 23, 25:7-10, 49:28-35) is known to the Jews as the Macpelah, and to the Arabs as the Haram el Khalil. The building is Herodian embellished by minarets and roof decorations dating from the time the Moslems overcame the Crusader control of the Holy Land, or later. The subterranean rooms under the building were last opened to the outside area at the time of the Crusaders when the caves or rooms were used for intrusive burials. In 1967 Moshe Dayan lowered a small girl with camera through a small hole in the floor thus gaining some information on the basement rooms, as well as ending a 700 year old ban on non-Moslems entering the Haram. Since 1967 the site has been both a mosque and a synagogue, and it is of course a hallowed spot for Christians since Abraham is not only called “the friend of God” but also “the father of all who believe” in the Bible.

Very little is actually known about the caves or even the rooms under the floor of the Macpelah, so my colleagues and I were exited to probe through all four outside walls of the building on a one-day visit. (We asked for, but could not obtain, permission to make cart radar and seismic soundings vertically downwards through the floor inside the building – that viewing geometry would no doubt give very useful results).

Figure 6: Geophysical crew conducting radar and seismic measurements into the caves beneath the Macpelah. All four outside walls of the building were sounded in the one working day available.

Our one day of radar and seismic data collection brought us far more echoes and reflections than we could expect to interpret in many months of labor! All we had time for was to map and tabulate hundreds of echoes and write our friends in Israel a short letter report. Our conclusions: the subterranean rooms and caves under the floor of the Macpelah are many and complex. We can only hope the entire underground complex will be excavated and explored by the archaeologist in the near future. We would love to be on hand to do more geophysical work, especially if it became possible for us to view downwards through the floor of the building.

Chayah Sarah                                   BS”D                                                                        From this parsha we can learn some of the secrets of  the cave of Machpelah. To do this  lets go back first to parsha Lech Lecha where we find Hashem (God) tells Avraham to “Arise and walk through the land in the length of it and the width of it for I will give it to you.” Then Avraham removed his tent and camped in the plain of Mamre which is in Chevron and there he built a alter to Hashem. After seeing all the land Avraham decided to go to this special place. “The plain of Mamre which is in Chevron and there he built a alter to Hashem.”

In this weeks parsha we find “Avraham Buried Sarah in the cave of Machpelah which is before Mamre. The same is Chevron in the land of Cannan and Avraham was old well stricken in age and Hashem blessed him in all things” We must ask what does it mean “the Same is Chevron in the land of Cannan” ?. And why after telling us of the burial of Sarah in Machpelah does the verse conclude saying ”Hashem blessed him in all things” ?.

The name Machpelah means folded. In the Zohar we are told that the field and cave rests on a 2 fold area namely the world above and world below. Thus through this spiritual gate all souls pass when the leave this world. At this place the vail of the physical world wears thin giving one potenial for greater Divine awareness. Machpelah is in Chevron also called Keryat Arba Meaning the city of 4. There in Chevron Hashem requests to join them as one. As we say in the Amida “gather us together from the 4 corners of the earth”. Every man who occupies in Torah is Chevron. Keriat Arba is also called chevron it is the place the 4 corners of the earth are gathered. There dresses tohu, vohu, choshech, thum in the earth and the 4 chyot haKodesh (angels) are revealed (through them) in the 4 yesodot (elements). In the idea of the green kav.  When You say the Sma with your heart mouth and thought this is Chevron. There goes out a ruach (spirit) during saying of the Sma from the 4 letters of יהו”ה. This is Chevron. It is the joining of the Nashama, Shechina, the 4 letters of יהו”ה and קרית ארבע. Galut is the opposite. The 4 galut correspond to the 4 orlah (unclean husks). Galut is separation. They are not then “one nation in the earth”, as the name יהו”ה no longer rests upon them.  Death is when the Torah doesn’t rest from above, and rises from below away from the 4 yesodot. All who the Torah separates from, their Nashama is destroyed. The Nashama is the precious thrown that Chevron unifies, it is the Shechina.1

Just  after Abraham concluding his mourning for Sarah he  turns to the task of finding a wife for his son, Isaac.. The Torah let’s us know that this will be the last act of the patriarch, introducing this topic with the words, “Abraham was old, well along in days, and the Lord had blessed Abraham in all.” The Ramban tells us that the reference to “all” is an allusion to “one of the secrets of the Torah, a great matter, namely that God has an attribute called “all”. It is the “Yesod”  (foundation) of everything. Instead of seeing Abraham’s blessings only in the abundance in his life, in the good things he owned, he saw “all”  as blessing, the fullness of his life. For Avrahham all his life he saw as a blessing. As the verse says “Abraham was old, well along in days, and the Lord had blessed Abraham in all.” All or in Hebrew is כל  which the Zohar says the “Sefirah Yesod” it says also . Yesod is “sadek” (righteousness), understand this. “Avraham was blessed in all” in all these things Avraham was blessed,  In the last few parsha we have seen Abraham leave his father’s house, smuggle his wife and nearly loose her and his own life to two different lustful kings, expel Hagar and his son Ishmael, suffer the feuds between his own servants and the servants of his nephew Lot, wage war with a victorious coalition of kings to save his nephew, arguing with God about the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, and being ordered to kill his beloved son, Isaac. What a life. “Avraham was blessed in all” in all these things Avraham was blessed, and he saw it that way. Our Sages tell us that Sarah had attained a greater level of prophecy than Avraham.

Life is full of light in many ways . With eruptions of joy, sorrow, achievement, defeat, connection, isolation, vitality, illness and everything in between.. To see the hand of God only in one’s happiness and success is to not see God in the fullness of one’s life. To edit God out of the unpleasant aspects of life, is a big mistake. As all is the providence of God. Such a view can take away one’s passion and ability to live enthusiastically and deal correctly with any given situation. It is only when we embrace God in the totality of life’s experiences that can we truly live. By allowing ourselves to dwell with the God in the suffering that has come upon us, God forbid, and in the ecstasy, in the disappointment, pain along with the delight, we can experience the fullness of being alive, the holiness of being itself.

We are told that the cave is before Mamre. This place is where earlier Avraham built a alter to Hashem. The word Mamre means rebellious. This refers to the ones that were burried there  first. The first to be rebellious Adam and Chava. Its also interesting to note that Mamre in Hebrew has the same letters as Amran the father of Moshe a man who never sinned. The opposite of the rebellious Adam and Chava. It will be from Amram’s son Moshe who brought down the Torah from mount Sinai that word will be redeemed from its current rebellious state. As we learn from the Oar haChyim that the final redemption will occur in the merit of Moshe. The redemption has been so long delayed becouse Moshe refuses to invoke his merit, his merit being the merit of Torah study that is so lacking in these later generations. So may it be that soon in our days that we will see the realization of the blessing given to Avraham from Hashem to be blessed in all things with the comming of our righteous Mashiach quickly in our days.

1. 1Zohar Chadash Tikunim p.119,139,238

THE THINGS OF THIS WORLD ESPECIALLY THOSE THINGS WHICH THE GOD HAS FORBIDDEN HE HAS MADE  TO APPEAR TO MAN AS VERY DESIRABLE,

WHILE SPIRITUALITY , TORAH AND THE TREE OF LIFE DO NOT OUTWARDLY APPEAR ATTRACTIVE NOT DESIRABLE , THEY ARE NOT REALLY SEEN AT ALL. ONLY AFTER ONE INVESTIGATES TORAH DOES ONE SEE IT HAS THE GREATEST PLEASURE AND FINDS IT MORE DESIRABLE THAN ANYTHING ELSE

IT IS LIKE ALL THE FORBIDDEN THINGS LOOK DESIRABLE AND ARE OUT IN THE OPEN BEFORE US , WHILE THE LIGHT OF THE GOD IS HIDDEN IN A CAVE, THAT CALLED TORAH AND ONLY WHEN ONE GOES INTO THE CAVE DOES ONE FIND THIS “TORAH” WAY AND ARE ABLE TO INVESTIGATE IT AND FIND IT MORE DESIRABLE THAN ANYTHING ELSE ! THINGS ARE NOT AS THEY APPEAR !

The United Nations under a facade of respectability systematically targets the State of Israel – the one country on this planet that is at the forefront of fighting against the tyranny and oppressiveness engulfing this world. Who do you folks think you are? You, the unscrupulous NGO’s march under the banner of humanity to further your Jew-hating agenda as you support the Jihadist inferno. And if all this was not enough pseudo academics , willfully join in this perversion and corrupt the pursuit of knowledge as you painstakingly and unabashedly trample on the truth. You, who close your eyes to actual crimes against humanity, and close your ears to the genuine cries of suffering caused by tyrannical, psychotic leaders, yet instead reward the architects of evil with positions of honor within the unsacred walls of your citadels of united deceit. You, who elevate the vile terrorist organizations and the countries that host them into civilization. Those who try to justify and finance the Islamic cult of terror and death to destroy the remnants of the Jewish nation . Your pretense at saintliness is contemptible. There is a God and the day will come when your evil will come back and bite you and that day is not so far away PLEASE GOD !

He will redeem us from the exile because of her The “Shechinah” (Divine Presence). This is as it is written, “And even also this when you are in the land of your enemies” (Lev. 26:44). And the prophet says because of Her when He saw in his prophecy the pressure of the Jews was immense, He said, “This I return to my heart, therefore I shall forgive” (Lam.3:21)

Think about it.

The Jewish people prayed, desired, yearned and waited almost two thousand years to return to The Land of Israel, and have finally done so. The idea of ruling the land was a unrealistic dream for over 2000 years. Now, The Jewish State has been established with the permission of the nations of the world in the ancient homeland of the Jewish people in the Land of Israel after centuries of hatred and terrible anti-Antisemitism.

even after the Land has been miraculously built up strongly economically and militarily, scientifically technologically. Israel brought a unspoken language back into the world. Something never done before, in its security and defence industries, economic, science, advanced medicine, technology and agriculture. Israel is one of only 6 nations of the world that has satellite launching capacity. To say the least this is all uncanny

As incredible as this may be, even after witnessing the fulfillment of these dreams, Even after the Holocaust many Jews chose to to live among gentiles rather than in their own God given ancestral homeland.

There is a strange phenomena we see involving Jewish people and their support for the State of Israel. Intelligent and sensitive Jews are not enraged over troubling events in Israel as Terror attacks that ravage the land. And when European, American and Israeli leftists hold positions and make comments that in the least border of Anti-Semitism. And to this These Jews are silent or support those who are or appear as enemies of their people. Their self-destructive attitudes stem from a curse that often befalls Jews when they talk about Israel – a feeling that we are not entitled to the land of Isreal. Like a beautiful and intelligent woman who somehow consistently dates men who are destructive for her, because she unconsciously does not feel she merits better, the problem of entitlement lies at the core of the Israeli discussion. These faint-hearted and clueless Jews ask, ” Is Israel really ours?

Or Did we steal it from the Palestinians ?

Even Arafat’s Swiss bank accounts and those of the rest of Palestinian leaders ,suicide bombers, even Hamas’ stated goal of the destruction of the Jewish state and its replacement with a Muslim theocracy, none of these nasty facts gets in the way of their feeling that we are undeserving.

The sages tell us there will be survivors among those Jews that cannot overcome the temptations of the lands of exile such as the illusionary promise of riches and return to the land of Israel. But there will be a cost for this “prostitution” of their religious values. The midrash Tanchumah tells us close to 8 out of 10 Jews who are not in the land of Israel at the time of the final redemption shall be killed.

God intended when he gave the Torah that it should be one’s life. Most of its commandments are dependent on living in the land. Torah is not meant to only be a part of one’s life. But Torah is one’s life.

That you may love the Lord your God, and that you may obey his voice, and that you may cleave to him; for he is your life, and the length of your days; that you may live in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.”

(deut 31)

The Ten commandments were “chiseled” by the finger of God the Hebrew word for “chiseled”, “charut”, also means “freedom” (in Hebrew); the tablets free us from spiritual death and its spiritual damages, the horrors of exile if we live a Torah life, then we can be truly free. Rather than being slaves of the exile.

Rabbi Aba says in the Gemora that there is no greater sign that the time of redemption is before us than when the land of Isreal brings forth her fruit, this is such a time.

But the exile presses hard on us in these later days. So in this period special Torah leaders are required. The sages say in the days preciding the coming of the Mashiach isolence shall increase. These extraordinary Torah leaders will need to harness this insolence , chutzpah to go against the brazenness of those who desire to make Israel a nation like any other nation and a state like any other when in truth Israel can only exist as a Holy nation.

The period preceding the coming of Mashiach is called “ikvay Dmashichah” the “Heels of the Messiah”. The heel is that part of the body which touches the ground. During this period in order to prepare for the coming of the Messiah in a way of great mercy we need to create “facts on the ground”, be doing the right thing. We have to be active in standing up for the honor of Hashem. There is great merit to the prayer and learning in the Bait kanesset but this is a time for “facts on the ground” in “ikvay Dmashichah” we must stand up against the things God despises and actively work hard to promote those things God wants and desires.

Know, that the eternal enemy of the Jews is amongst the Jews themselves. The Moses told us that “Those that hate you shall rule over you” (Vayikra 26:17) – “I will set up enemies only from amongst you and against you” (Rashi). Isaih says “Those who destroy you and waste you will emerge from you” ( 49:17). The Jewish people individually and as the nation of Israel must act increasing Holiness in the world and towards bringing the Redemption. In order to do this we must stand up against these “ eternal enemies” that pretend to be working for the good of the Jewish people, when the exact opposite is true. These false leaders are souls from the “Erev Rav” (mixed multitude that left Egypt with the Hebrews, being its bankers and magicians) They reincarnate with the Jews in each generation and always are trying to bring about evil against the Jews, who they are acting like they are trying to help. The Kol HaTor teaches that It is more difficult confronting the Erev Rav than dealing with Yishmoel and Edom, they are really the greater foe. This evil must be properly recognized, assessed and understood,  in order to combat it. The “erev rav” is not going to go away on its own, at least with out doing too much damage first. Know, evil’s historical continuity, like its expression in the tragedy of the Holocaust can only be understood on the metaphysical level, it is only from this perspective can evil be understood. Rabbi Soloveitchik states that during the 1930s and 1940s the role of Amalek was played by Nazi Germany led by Hitler, and later the same role was played by Nasser and the Mufti, evil has many faces.

This is no time for standing on the sidelines. The Kingship of God must be brought down, revealed in this world. So stand up for it , show the will of God is alive and well in this world and we are ready for Mashiach.

I am not talking about displays of in passionate Dogmatism applied to religion.

This does not sit well with most people and it certainly does not make a good impression. The time for religious separatism and exclusivity is over. We are all in the same boat and its about time to break down all the barriers between Jews and let the Glory of God and his Torah become known to all the Jewish people and the world. Its time to take the Torah out of the Shtetel , even one’s like BeniBarak and and Maih Sharim and reveal the Torah on main street. The lives of our people and the welfare of the world depends on this. The is the meaning of “ikvay Dmashichah” the time to bring it down is now. We meant to be at “light unto the nations” its about time we start shining some of that light. This will not be accomplished by blind faith without any semblance of rationality. Our role sanctifying God, requires us to recall, internalize and work with the Chuchmah of Hashem in the context of understanding of Torah and its carefully structured mitzvot accordingly that one’s being by the awareness of the Divine actually becomes a “no-self”. Then “On that day, He will be One, and His Name will be One.” (Zachariah 14:9)

Only I warn you exceedingly to take heed and guard yourselves very, very much to remember from where the commandments came to you. You should not forget the Revelation on Mount Sinai, nor all the things which your eyes saw there – the thunderings, and the lightnings, His glory and His greatness and His words that “ You have heard there out of the midst of the fire”

Deuteronomy (4:15)

God made that Revelation at Sinai so that you might learn to fear Him all

the days and teach your children during all generations.”

In the Six Day War the Jews finally won back after 2000 years of exile the Temple Mount. Now that is a monumental thing of Biblical proportion. The Temple Mount is the holiest place in the entire Universe, the direct channel to God by which all blessing flows to the earth, given as a wedding present from God Himself.

It says in the Torah “I set before you a blessing or curse”: two extremes. Blessing implies success. Both of these are before you to attain, according to what you choose Understand it is not possible to settle for , to be middle, or mediocre in ones spirituality. Quite the contrary, there are only two possibilities, the two extreme points: obeying the Lord’s commandments (=blessing) or disobeying them (=curse), or in other words, following the way of God’s Teaching or leaving this way and following other gods. Contrary to popular opinion there is no third or other way. We are left only with the choice of one of these two options. Mediocrity, is not an option. There is no middle way and no vacuum. This is a necessary dichotomy, offering us the choice of one of these two options. The middle road, serving G-d partially, half way, or a third of the way, or a quarter of the way, or as he put it, revolving around mediocrity, is not an option.

Why would it be be OK that some Jews live in Eretz Yisrael to protect and secure the Holy Land? And for others to just stay in exile and not help bring the redemption ? Why should they then merit to benefit from all the good of Eretz Yisrael? Be a partner in the final redemption, feel a part of the Holy Land!

Exile was terminated in 1948

God has given us some big wake up calls as the World Trade Center on 9/11. It is time to make known people need to stand up for the Good and we can see the forces of Judgement otherwise manifest in very destructive ways, God should help us. 9/11 opened up a lot of door and hearts to talk about the most important things, but few have stood up to the calling. The World Trade Center attack of 9/11, was on the 23 of the Hebrew month of Ellul. In Ellul this really should be understood as a wake up call.

The world’s economy took a big blow. It seems to be going down the toilet. And there has been a wave of wars that could easily result in a world war ending with tragic catastrophe before the Messiah will be revealed. These are big wake up calls.

THESE FACTS SHOULD ALSO SERVE AS BIG “WAKE UP CALLS”

Israel is the 10th ranked army in the world. Two things about Israel they are Ultra Prepared and Ultra Not Stupid !

America has a [radar] base in Southern Israel, with the most superior radar system the World has ever seen. It is now being said that America is linking their systems up with Israeli anti-missile technology.

President George W. Bush promised — and President Obama delivered — untold numbers of GBU-28 bunker busters, which can tunnel through concrete before exploding deep underground. President Bush is also said to have sold Israel several midair refueling aircraft.

Israel is fully capable of wiping out Iran literally, by Electric Warfare, Advanced Virus Systems, New Weaponry,  and all the force of the IDF etc. Bibi and Ehud are not messing around in the media, their threats are real.

YnetNews.com reported:

Any Israeli attack on Iran will open with a “coordinated strike, including an unprecedented cyber-attack which will totally paralyze the Iranian regime and its ability to know what is happening within its borders,” American blogger Richard Silverstein wrote Wednesday. Silverstein claims to have obtained an Israeli briefing document outlining the Jewish state’s war plans against Iran, which, according to him, include the launching of dozens of missiles, an aerial attack, a sophisticated cyber attack and even the assassination of senior Iranian military and intelligence officials.
According to Silverstein, an Israeli strike on Iran will include a “barrage of tens of ballistic missiles” launched from Israeli territory towards Iran, as well as a barrage of “hundreds of cruise missiles” which will “pound command and control systems, research and development facilities, and the residences of senior personnel in the nuclear and missile development apparatus. The attack will open with an unprecedented cyber-attack which will take the internet, telephones, radio and television, communications satellites, and fiber optic cables leading to and from critical installations—including underground missile bases at Khorramabad and Isfahan – out of action. The electrical grid throughout Iran will be paralyzed and transformer stations will absorb severe damage from carbon fiber munitions.
U.S. Army Col. Warner Farr said Israel’s nuclear arsenal has 400 nuclear and thermonuclear weapons. Farr said Israel’s navy could deploy nuclear weapons on the fleet of three German-built Dolphin-class diesel submarines. Farr said based on unclassified sources that “Israeli new submarines are “national deterrent’ assets.” The report said Israel would base its nuclear naval force near Oman with which Israel has informal relations. It is located strategically close to Iran.
Die Welt, Hans Rühle, who directed the planning department of the German Defense Ministry from 1982 to 1988, expressed almost supreme confidence that Israel’s air force could obliterate Iran’s main nuclear sites. He believes that with 25 of its 87 F-15 fighter planes and a smaller deployment of F-16 jets, the Israelis could destroy all six of Iran’s key sites.

Bibi (Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu) and (Defense Minister Ehud) Barak are dead serious.”

To save lives Iran must back down !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

JERUSALEM (JTA) — Standard & Poor’s has upgraded Israel’s credit rating to A+.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday that the upgrade was the international economic community’s “certificate of honor and of responsibility regarding investments in Israel.”

“This is a message to investors. This is a good country,” he said. “This is a country that in complete contrast to the global trend is improving and maintaining a correct and responsible economy, and therefore it is worthwhile to invest in it.”

Israel is a goldmine, finding Shale Oil reserves, Natural Gas, High Tech, etc…Israel is busting out in every way.

Know, that Israel’s Ministry of Agriculture’s Research Institute has made many great achievements producing staggering results in long and better shelf life for fruits and vegetables. That allows products to be shipped by sea instead of air freight, thus reducing export costs. Many of Israel’s agriculturists also avoid chemicals and achieve larger crops with the aid of the use of colors. In addition, Israel’s water shortage prevents cultivating grass for cattle food, yet the ‘milk yield’ of Israeli cows is the best in the world!

The prophet Zachariah said of the Days of Mashiach:

On that day, He will be One, and His Name will be One.” (14:9)

At this time the, Ineffable Name of God, is too holy to be pronounced as it is spelled: yudhayvavhay. Instead it is pronounced as Adon”y

The Ineffable Name yud-hay-vav-hay, as it is spelled, is actually made of two parts, yudhay and vavhay.

Yud-hay-vav-hay, the unified Name is revealed in periods of history when God’s Presence is revealed and known.

The divided Name is when made of two parts, Yud-Hay and Vav-Hay

in periods of time when God’s Presence is hidden.

NEVER FORGET Bibi explained to us in June 2012 why it is necessary to evacuate the settlements… He said, “I suggest you do not ignore the international court
in the Hague.” – (See ynet, June 2012.)

In 1937 in Marienbad the greatest sages of the generation met at the Third Kenessiah of Agudas Yisroel. At this assembly the majority of the Moetzes Gedolei Hatorah (sages) in 1937 voted in favor of a Jewish State and said that relinquishment of the Holy Land given to the Jewish people by God has no validity. They came to the conclusion that each and every compromise made regarding the Holy Land, which was given to us by the Holy One according to its boundaries is null and void.

The Great Assembly stated that it is unequivocally forbidden to surrender even the tiniest particle of land within the boundaries of the Holy Land. It is astonishing that people do not publicize and proclaim this ruling in the greatest possible way.

The fact that there are those who wish to conceal this are only doing evil. This ruling is like every other Jewish law, for “the word of G-d will certainly endure.”

It is the law and there should be no question concerning it.

The Lebovicher Rebbe, May his soul help us above Said concerning this ruling:

“May it be G-d’s Will that everyone will look at the Code of Jewish Law, chapter 329, and they will see that the law is clear: it is forbidden to cede even a small piece of the Land of Israel.

We must continue spreading word of this legal ruling until all the Jews know of this ruling.” Those who want to give the land of Israel away to its enemies we must protest against their actions, as they are not in accordance with the Torah.

The sages of this Generation must be true to their lineage and uphold this ruling against those who do not know.

The Lubavitcher Rebbe said about this ruling that for the sages of the generation not to defend the land of Israel against those Who do not follow the Torah and want to give the land away to our enemies that their

“Silence is a sin”.

” The foundation of the Jewish peoples right to the Holy Land is based on the Torah and the prophets…A Jewish State not based on the principles of Torah is a denial of Jewish origin, is opposed to the identity and to the true stature of our people, and undermines the basis of existence of our people…Any relinquishment of the Holy Land given to the Jewish people by G-d has no validity” (HaPardes 11:6)

The sages of the1937 assembly in Marienbad concluded that it was permissible for us to accept the partition plan which implied the renunciation of half of Eretz Israel. Although the majority voted in favor of partition, they did it because if we did not accept the plan. Israel would have gotten nothing.

The situation today is not the same.

Today we have the whole land and giving away any part of the land falls under the prohibition according to the Ramban of

“We are not allowed to leave the land in our enemies’ hands.

In any case, at that meeting in 1937, ah the majority voted in favor of the partition plan, the resolution contained a clear declaration about the inalienable rights of the Jewish people to the entire land.

It is about time good religious people should complain to the Rabbis and demand that they do more to protect our Holy land from the hands of non religious people, who have abandoned the Torah and our history in the altar of modernity and hedonism. It should not be left to them to determine what will be with the Holy land and the Jew’s.

Besides all of this there are a few small groups like the Neturei Karta that think that because God made the Jews take two oaths and the world take one. The Jews swore “Not to ascend to the Holy Land as a group using force, not to rebel against the governments of countries in which we live,” and “Not to push the end away with our sins “.

The State of Israel is a sin the small groups like the Neturei Karta say that “we came back in force and rebelled against the nations.”

But in truth there was no rebellion against the nations. We were granted permission by Britain, League of Nations and the United Nations to recreate our homeland in the Land of Israel. Gemara in Ketubot speaks of “The Nations”, the UN is and was the greatest representation of the world community. It is irrelevant that there were nations that were against giving the Land of Israel to the Jews the majority voted for it and the WORLD BODY GAVE THE JEWS THE LAND.

Isreal only fought for independence because the Arab League did not wish to comply with the decision of the world body, the UN, but the Arab League decided to launch a full scale invasion. The Arab League at that time proudly stated that they would commit a massacre on the scale of the Mongol massacres. If the Jews in Israel had not fought there would have been a massacre of the 600,000 Jews living in The land of Israel. So at that point, it becomes a obligation to fight and save one’s own life.

Besides all this the Ramban who writes “Behold we were commanded the conquest of the land of Israel in ever generation when ever possible” (Supplement to the Rambam, Sefer HaMitzvot, positive commandment #4). The Ramban is very clear in his language. “We are commanded to posses the land that the almighty God gave to our forefathers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and not to leave it in the hands of other nations or in desolation, as it says, ‘posses the land and live in it…Do not be confused and say that this mitzvah is the mitzvah to make war against the seven nations…this is not the case. We are commanded to kill those nations if they fight us, if they want to make peace with us we may do so and leave them in certain well known circumstances; but we may never leave the land in their hands nor in the hand of other nations in any generation.”

It is very clear that the Ramban did not hold of the “shvuot” (oath) to be a legal matter at all.

Even the Rambam writes: “it is prohibited to leave the Land of Israel and go to ‘chutz la’aretz’ at any time ” (Hilchot Melachim, Chapter 5, halacha 9) The Rambam writes also: “A person should dwell in Eretz Yisrael, even in a city whose population is mostly non-Jewish, and not live in “chutz la’aretz”, even in a city which is mostly Jewish”.

Second the first two oaths might be contingent on the third, that the nations not treat us harshly, which they did, then we can rebel and go up to the land.

Their second point is that they think that the redemption can not come about through non-believers, furthermore Netueri Karta believes that man can not play a role in bringing the Redemption and must completely rely on the Almighty to do all the work.

This cannot be so as in the time of Ezra and Nechemya, the vast majority who returned with them were unobservant, but immoral as well, as it says in Kiddushin 69-70, they were bastards, foundlings and committed sexual misconducts like the people of Sodom and Amora. And yet they were the tools, which God used to bring about that Redemption at that time. Certainly, the secular Jews who started returning in the late 1800s, and who remained the main builders of the land until the State was re-declared in 1948, could not have been much worse.

The Mashiach does not come about through the most pleasant means or obvious ways. Just look at the father of Mashiach, David Hamelech – King David. When we look at Davids ancestry. On his fathers side their were illicit relations between Yehuda and Tamar. But concerning this the sages say “God was busy creating the light of the King Mashiach.” (Bareshit Rabba 85:1)

. Davids grandmother Ruth came from the Nation of Moav. It was the nation of Moav that seduced the men of Israel to sin in the desert bringing a great plague upon them. Also, Moav’s founding father was a illegitimate child as he was from the illicit relations between Lot and his Daughter Habichira.

The Tur (Orach Chaim 428) figured out which day of the week each Yom Tov will fall. א, the first day of Pesach is the same day of the week as ת Tisha B’av. ב, the second day of Pesach is the same same day of the week as ש, Shavuos. ג the third day of Pesach is the same same day of the week as ר, Rosh Hashanah.ד, the fourth day of Pesach is the same same day of the week as ק, Kria Hatorah (Simchas Torah). ה, the fifth day of Pesach is the same same day of the week as צ, Tzom (Yom Kippur). ו the sixth day of Pesach is the same day of the week as פ, Purim. One may also add: ז, the seventh day of Pesach, is the same day of the week as ע, Yom Atzmaut.

IT IS OBVIOUS THE REDEMPTION COMES TO US IN A VERY UNUSUAL WAY

It also should be said after the Holocaust where were the refugees supposed to go? No country would accept them. Do you seriously think God is angry that these broken people who took the remnants of their torn lives and decided to start over again and rebuild in Israel?

In Halakhic matters if one studied and came to a conclusion that is in opposition to that which was decided in the Sanhedrin, he is not liable to punishment except if one instructed others to act in accordance with his minority opinion. (Sanhedrin 86b)

One who instructed others to act in opposition to the decision of the Sanhedrin is considered a “rebellious elder” and is liable for punishment, in order that there not be discord and strife within Israel.

Akavia ben Mahalalel differed with the Sages he was told that if he would rescind his differing opinions, he could be Chief Justice on the Rabbinical Court. He said that he would rather be called a fool and not become an evil person [agreeing with what he believed was not true]. He persisted in his opinions, and only when he was on his deathbed did he instruct his son to accept the opinion of the Sages (Eduyot 5). From this we see that he was not forbidden from reaching his independent conclusions, for if so, he would have said that he would rather be called a fool and not act evilly by accepting forbidden conclusions! In fact, only instructing others to act according to his conclusion would be forbidden, as the Talmud says, “Why was Akavia ben Mahalalel not treated as a rebellious elder? – Because he did not instruct others.” Despite all this, he was still considered greater than all of Israel in wisdom and fear of sin (Brachot 19a)

Change is not merely a factual occurrence, but is rather an expression of the conscious initiative of man. From this point of view, Religious Zionists adapted this awareness, and understood that it was this that separated between themselves and the hareidi sector. Federbush, for instance, in his work “The Perfection of Judaism,” contrasts between hareidi Judaism and Religious Zionism exactly in this point. The hareidim do not understand that the ghetto walls have collapsed, and they feel that it is possible to perpetuate the framework of the old conceptions. “Whoever says that Judaism is only a religion, or only religious rituals, is as if saying that Judaism is not intrinsically connected with the existence of the Nation of Israel… the borders of the Jewish religion are those of the Jewish nation.” the hareidim’s clinging to their understanding of the Nation of Israel as merely a religious denomination, shaped and defined only by the Torah. This understanding led the way to the claim, promoted by certain schools of hareidi thought, that whoever is not observant of the Torah and its commandments is not considered a Jew, even if he was born as such. In stark contrast to this, Religious Zionism adopted the approach that the Nation of Israel is an ethnic entity; in the words of Federbush, “just as ‘total Judaism’ is inconceivable without its religious aspect, so too it is unimaginable without its national facet.” Federbush further wrote, “Whoever says that Judaism is only a religion, or only religious rituals, is as if saying that Judaism is not intrinsically connected with the existence of the Nation of Israel… the borders of the Jewish religion are those of the Jewish nation.”

Unlike hareidi Judaism religious Zionist say that, “He to whom elementary human knowledge and education is foreign, can neither be learned in knowledge of Judaism.” Torah is likened to a treasure house or a well, from which every generation extracts according to its strength and ability. The infinite riches of Judaism include more than just laws and rigid guidelines; they comprise outlooks, conceptions, and ideas that guide man in all that he does and thinks. Torah is likened to a treasure house or a well, from which every generation extracts according to its strength and ability. The infinite riches of Judaism include more than just laws and rigid guidelines; they comprise outlooks, conceptions, and ideas that guide man in all that he does and thinks. There is no room for other value systems outside of the religious system. Every value must be anchored in one way or another in the Torah.

Redemption has always been perceived in Religious Zionism as contingent upon human activism.

BUT BEWARE

Do not forget one minute that the secular Zionist establishment wrested political power from the Old Yishuv. The Religious Jewish community that had dwelled in the land before the secular Zionists came. In order to make themselves “the mainstream establishment”. They coldly blocked immigration of religious Jews to Palestine before and during WWII and even hampered rescue efforts of religious Jews . They actively and ruthlessly uprooted “our Ancient Father” out of the hearts of  an entire generation of new immigrants for a decade since the founding of the State. The secular Zionists initiated programs to uproot Religious observance from the Sefardi immigrants, etc., With all this we still need to move on and heal the deep wounds of Israeli society by goodwill.
But we should never forget about these things so that these tactics will not be used against God fearing Jews in the future by the secular Zionists.
As The God does not like it when the secular Zionists try to actively and ruthlessly uprooted “our Ancient Father” out of our hearts

The solar year adopted by the nations of the world, reflects the natural order, The Jewish  lunar/Solar year reflects t

he special  providence  of  Yisrael. That is completely dependent on God as the moon only light is from the sun. The word we use for month in Hebrew “chodesh” means literally, newness, renewal as opposed to a continuation of the status quo.

We are in a tug-of-war between the supporters of settlements and the radical left, which has a thirst for destroying the houses of the settlers. Caught in the middle are the leftist Zionists “centralist” rightists  who live in fear of the Hague conventions more than they are concerned for the lives of all Israel’s citizens

Time really does matter. Redemption in springtime is no coincidence. Tremendous energy of renewal happens  in the springtime. The rebirth of flowers and greenery, are a symbol of our redemption.

CALLING YOU HOME

Filed under: Israel, Jerusalem, Jews in America, MESSIAH, PESSACH

Many people will find they were greatly mistaken. They believe something like that one day there will be a booming voice from heaven telling all the Jews the time of the Messiah has arrived and in a few hours a magic cloud will take them with all their belongings to Israel, the Holy Land. Such beliefs are as fairy tales and have no basis in the words of our Holy Prophets and sages. They are akin to heresy.

It is surely true God will work great miracles ushering in the Messianic age, but we must do our part to bring it in.

The God has done His part and opened the way, and is waiting for YOU :

It is time now for those seeking to come closer to God and develop to all they can be spiritually to come to the Holy land and work on these things here, now. It is not Gods job to force you to come to usher in the Messianic age. You must do this of your own free will.

Otherwise time may very well pass you by ………………………………

Don’t put the Master of the world to task !

The punishment of the exile of Jews of Spain the rabbis of the time wrote that this happened because of the wealth the Jews of the time had and  the comfort in which the Jews lived.Their beautiful houses and their wealth caused the envy of their gentile neighbors, which encouraged their jelousy and  hostility. As opposed to German and French Jews who were accustomed to anti-Semitism, the Spanish Jews were not and they never saw their oppression coming.  COULD THIS HAPPEN IN AMERICA ?

The world is in the midst of  harsh judgment and the Creator is crying out to the Jews to come home. Since 1948  the state of Israel was established, the redemption began! The exile is coming to an end ! What are you waiting for. Do the needs of the world and your own soul not matter to you ?

בס”ד

Passach

Flour and water mixed after 18 minutes turns into “Chumatz” (leaven), we try to bake the dough before 15 minutes so this does not happen.

Pessach is Pretty important if we spell it out as

פהסמךחת=613 (all the commandments). The sages say Passach is a time for searching for a persons defects, like the way each person must search their house for “chumatz” (leaven). God illuminates our Nashama (Soul) so that we may see ourselves clearer. Like the way we use a candle to search for “Chumatz”, and a candle represents the “Nashama”. As it says “ the candle of   God is the Nashama of man”. It states in the Zohar that from Rosh chodesh (New moon) of the month of  Nisson there is an increase in “Bina” (Divine Understanding). With this power we can search within ourselves and see what it is that is causing our exile from GOD, Divine revelation. So that we may return to GOD completely. ”Chumatz” is not nullified like most things even when there is less than 1 part to 60. Any “chumatz” (which is arrogance) cannot be tolerated. How could one be arrogant if they really knew they were standing before GOD ?. An arrogant person performing religious acts is only a “charade”. They have not even begun the kind of Divine service that leads to ”ruach haKodesh”, and redemption.

The Pesach sacrifice was to be offered with “ head on its knees and on its innards. This is like “Ibor” called in the Zohar “legs folded” and “ folded within three”. This is when chochmah , binah and dat are concealed within chesed-gevurah-tiferet and chesed-gevurah-tiferet are concealed within netzach-hod and yesod. Physically, this is reflected in the fact that the embryo is postured in the crouched fetal position in the womb with its head bent between its knees.

One must be completely dedicated to GOD not themselves. The Temple offering for Passach the “corbon Pessach”, May we bring it quickly, is roasted whole, including the head and tail. This shows that returning to GOD, Leaving our personal and National exile requires returning to GOD from all aspects of our existence. One must dedicate all aspects of their life to GOD, Blessed is his Name ! Every individual goes through his personal exile, and must separate from those things that bind him from coming close to GOD. Those things which are strange and not part of his divine service. We must do this in all aspects of our life, thus removing ourselves from our personal Egypt (which means confinement), by this fulfilling in part the commandment of remembering the redemption from Egypt. It is stated in the Zohar that “The remembrance of being taken out of Egypt with great miracles is the gateway to divine power, a root of the whole Torah, the basis of all the commandments and the real “emuna” (faith) of the Jewish Soul”. Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochi says “ this is our season of joy and gladness when we celebrate the great honor GOD showed to us by taking us out from under the power of impurity into the power of his Holiness.”  It is the day as R. Abba says “ GOD took Yisrael from being under the power of impurity to be united with his name, causing them to be raised up above all the upper and lower beings”. The sages tell us one reason for the exile of Yisrael in Egypt was because when GOD told Avraham Avinu that he would give his decedents the land of Canaan as an eternal inheritance Avraham misused his power of speech when he replied “ How will I Know ”. Because of this lack of faith we went down to the refining furnace called Egypt. Now on Pessach we have the power to redeem the power of speech from exile. We do this by with great joy and excitement and a high heart telling the story of the redemption from Egypt, till the point G-d willing they remember. The Zohar says one who does this will rejoice with the Shechinah in the world to come for rejoicing brings rejoicing. The Oar Ha Chayim teaches that we bring redemption closer discussing Holy matters celebrating the redemption of speech. By remembering the great love GOD showed to us in redeeming us from Egypt we can draw strength to know he has given us strength to overcome all obstacles yielding the power of redemption !

In the Torah Billam the Rusha states “ GOD brings them out of Egypt”, In Sefer Oar Ha Chyim it is explained that this is written in an active sense since it is on Passach that sparks of Holiness are freed from impurity. The 7 days of Passach parallel the 7 days of creation. What we strive for creatively, intellectually, emotionally and physically can cause great changes in the continual of process of the renewal of all life including ourselves from this time period Passach is a time of profound personal spiritual redemption, as it says in Toldot Yaacov Yosef that on Passach “ A man merits access to the eternal wellsprings of life”.

One part of doing this is by the 4 cups of wine at the sedar, by this we rectify the sin of Adam as the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil was a grape. By drinking the 4 cups of wine we can remove the separation created by the sin of Adam, each cup has potential to remove aspects of the 4 “Klipot” that separate us from GOD ! Thus removing our desires for actions not supportive or against divine will, feelings of our heart that are not the love of GOD, thoughts that are not good, and barriers to divine inspiration. The wine of Pesach is a Tikun by Imma. We learn in Pre Atz Chyim by drinking the 4 cups wine there decends “mochin” down the throat to the head of Rachel. Matzah is a tikun by Abba.

Matzah seems to be only a little water and flour, but the Zohar tells us it is the bread of Faith, only on passach GOD gives it the power to be a gateway for “emunah”. If we add the letter “ו” to מצה (matzah) we have מצוה (mitzvah). The letter ו of the Divine name reveals our Ruach, our emotional soul, when one involves their heart in Divine service how great this is. Matza has a lot of potential to nullify evil סמא”ל (the Devil) + 4 letters = מצה . Rabbi Ashlag expains in the Hakdamah to Tikunim concerning this that this added  letter ו gives “chassadim” to the Malchut, by this the Chuchmah in it illuminates. It is similar to the Manna in the desert some had more some less, but all had the measure of an omer. To some its taste was bland to others it tasted as what ever they desired. The Ari teaches in Shar pasukim that “Smura Matzah” is Machut of Bina, which is the ד of אחד . Think about this deeply as it touches on many things.

We can turn the “bread of affliction” to the “bread of redemption” ! Matzah in Atbash system of letter exchange becomes יה”צ. From the name י”ה comes Divine wisdom, While צ is the vessel for this wisdom. One fit to receive it. צ represent the “Sadeek”. It states in the Gemora a child does not have wisdom till he has tasted Wheat. Yet this type of wisdom from Matzah is very high. As the Mittler Rebbe said “ The Aor Makiff (surrounding light) of Chuchmah is Emunah”. The matzah also works to complete our dat as Taught by Rabbi Natan of Bresslov. The 3 matzot correspond to Chaba’d of Dat, also to Myriam’s well, the Cloud that surrounded Yisrael in the desert and the Manna. By eating Matzah we are able to remove the delusions of this world from our brains, and the scream out to GOD with words like ”thunder” when reading the Hagada. .

הגדהשלפסח + 1= מלכות, Through the “Hagada” we can reveal GOD’s Kingship which ultimately is Mashiach. This is also reflected by spelling out each letter of הגדה as ה”הדל”תגימ”לה”י=ישראל +1.

Passach itself ( פסח ) by Atbash becomes וחס meaning “and having mercy”. This shows us that on Passach we draw down the power to  Divine mercy. As it was by this Divine mercy that we were freed from Egypt w hen we had reached the lowest level of defilement. GOD told Avraham that our exile of Egypt would be 400 years, but GOD in his great mercy he took us out in only 210 years. ”Choroset” חרוסת permeates to חסרות, mercy of Ruth. This illudes To David HaMelach and the final redemption.

Passach is called “the time of our freedom”, it was from Passach that we went from the lowest depths of enslavement  and spiritual depravity to the highest spiritual states at the sea, and then stood before GOD and received the Torah. The word Passach means to Jump. The spiritual growth of Passach is not a gradual thing, but made in leaps and jumps. It is said that rejoicing over the redemption from Egypt leads to further redemption.

Eliyahu Ha Novi is know to be at 2 places. At every circumcision, as he is called in the Holy books “Angel of the Covenant”. It was before eating the Corban Passach that Moshe or some say Yuhoshua circumcised Yisrael so they could eat of the Corban Passach, then came redemption ! Eliyahu (Elijah) is also invited to the Passach Sader. We even set out a cup of wine for him in every home. Then when we open the door for Eliyahu towards the conclusion of the Seder, after all the previous preparations we say “ Pour out your wrath ….. Pursue them in anger” . May it be in the merit of the Sadeekem in the Gan Aden and now on the Earth that GOD has great mercy upon us so that we will see the prophesy of  the Prophet Malachi fulfilled with Eliyahu coming to us turning the hearts of children to their parents and parents to their children with the coming of our righteous Mashiach quickly in our days !

The Rebbi of Karlin said ”Great is a man of Yisrael in the way He is formed, allowing Him to be a son of the King ”.  It is of this quality the Torah is speaking of when it speaks of freedom. It was for this quality that we merited being redeemed from Egypt. This Holiness obligates us to be careful not to transgress the border between freedom and a state of lawless abandonment of any constant real values of virtue. Behavior which would bring shame to our father the King of His Holy nation Yisrael and all creation. The freedom we are talking about places upon us borders upon our behavior, giving us more obligations which come upon such a man from God because of the heights of His level in the scheme of creation. Because of this a free man must be careful with matters involving his Honor. But lawless abandon of Godly virtue is of man at a lowly level. In this is a aspect of slavery. As a slave’s disgracefulness adds to him losing restraint and control. As he just really doesn’t care. Such a man will do all that arises of his emotions, he loses control over himself. He goes from the realm of intellect that is upright, transgressing going after his desires. We see this in lowly people, they do their evil desires. The true image of man parishes from them. Leaving them with an image as any human being, when His true nature is beyond this. As his soul has heard the voice of God speaking at Sinai and has experienced the wonders God has done for the Hebrew people. In the beginning he believes in his own eyes that his actions are his desires, but in the end he is only a slave to his evil inclination.

If we look at Yaakov’s blessing from Yizchak we can see how something lowly can be something great as Yitzchak said ”Your seed shall be as the sand of the earth, you shall spread to the north, east , south and west.” During the times we live in now it seems that many of the Jewish people have fell to a low spiritual place. Many of our people now are as low as the sand of the earth (being immersed only in physical matters, with no spiritual awareness), sitting among the nations in exile. But as the great Rabbi Hillel said ”My falling is my rising”. The seemingly lowly state we are in now is only a necessary step. As was the captivity in Egypt, to bring about redemption. As by the lowliness created by a lack of spirituality, they can appreciate it once it is truly found.

The Ruach (spirit) of Yisrael is the internal aspect of His Nefesh (animal soul), its instinctual awareness known as leah. It is only this that can free him from from the slavery of his evil inclination ruling upon all his limbs. Which has become his master. The source the true Ruach (spirit) of Yisrael is in the many mitzvot, Positive commands and prohibitions. For this reason one is required to do many mitzvot to establish His freedom. Only in this way is there true freedom of the Nefesh (animal soul). But to one who does not know this they, God forbid, think that all the mitzvot remove all joy from life. When it is exactly the opposite. One who has never tasted the true atmosphere of people observing God’s Holidays will never understand this. For this reason it says concerning the Passover offering ”No stranger may eat from it”. Better is the verse ”taste and see that yhv”h is good”, with the coming of our righteous mashiach quickly in our days.

Also know that during these 7 weeks until the time of receiving the Torah anew on Shavuot God gives us a special gift each week, each day for the betterment of our souls by allowing us to develop our soul powers of doing kindness during the first week, the 2nd week discipline, the 3rd week harmony and balance, the 4th week endurance so to be able to obtain any goal, 5th week perfecting minor details involved in all we do, 6th week making the greatest perfection of any circumstance, and in the 7th and final week having the kingship of God revealed in all our thoughts speech and actions. This is called ”counting of the omer ”. From all of this God willing we shall be ready to receive the Torah.

Rashi, explains GOD began the Torah with HIS act of creation, so that the nations CAN NOT accuse the Jewish people of “stealing” Israel AS HE GAVE IT TO THEM

The Jewish people waited almost 2000 years to return to the Land of Israel, their ancestral homeland and finally done so with the permission of the nations of the world through The United Nations. Just 100 years ago this was only a dream most Jews had a hard time believing would happen anytime soon or at all considering all the centuries of hatred and anti-sematism the nations have shown the Jewish people. Yet even after the materialization of this Dream the majority of diaspora Jews Refuse to come HOME to The Land of Israel. They choose to live in exile among the gentiles where at this time hatred and anti-sematism is growing, raising its ugly heard at a unprecedented rate since the holocaust ! Some of them just like back in Germany think life is to good to leave their exile communities, even “religious” Jews just are not willing to make the necessary financial sacrifices !. Other Jew’s have assimilated to the point that they Identify with their exile communities more than with the Jewish people and The community Living in The Land of Israel and some have even turned against their fellow Jews living in the Holy land by supporting B.D.S. and J street. What does it take to the take the Jews out of exile and exile out of the Jews. Time will tell ?

The present generation of haters of Israel and the Jewish people all name themselves after the Biblical “Plishtim” who had been probably the worst of our neighbors, oppressing us many times throughout history. They were the closest neighbor, living right in the Land of Israel. The “Plishtim” territory included five cities Ashdod, Gaza, Ashkelon, Gath and Ekron which are part of the Holy Land according to Rashi (Berashit 26:2) as Yitzchak was not allowed to leave the Holy Land but during the hunger years he descended to “Eretz Plishtim”. Nothing changed since then, the people residing in that area (the Palestinians) still cause most problems to the Jewish people, the enemy from the within. Even the names of cities in this area did not change: Ashkelon, Ashdod, and Gaza. The Biblical “Plishtim” are long gone and at this rate the fake “Plishtim”(the Palestinians) will also slip away into nothingness from the pages of history. In the time of Shimshon the “Nazir” in the Bible he waged guerilla warfare against the Plishtim. In these days to since the Palestinians fight Israel by attacking innocent civilians  with terror attacks and protecting themselves by using their own civilians as human shields, even blowing up their children as suicide bombers. Israel must learn from Shimshon and pay back the Palestinians in kind fighting such a asymmetrical guerilla war against the Palestinians who show no mercy so none should be shown to them.

According to Arab sources, and authoritative Islamic personalities there are no “Palestinian people” and never has been.

Palestinians are the newest of all the peoples on the face of the Earth, and began to exist in a single day by a kind of supernatural phenomenon that is unique in the whole history of mankind, as it is witnessed by Walid Shoebat, a former PLO terrorist that acknowledged the lie he was fighting for and the truth he was fighting against:

Why is it that on June 4th 1967 I was a Jordanian and overnight I became a Palestinian?”
“We did not particularly mind Jordanian rule. The teaching of the destruction of Israel was a definite part of the curriculum, but we considered ourselves Jordanian until the Jews returned to Jerusalem. Then all of the sudden we were Palestinians – they removed the star from the Jordanian flag and all at once we had a Palestinian flag”.
“When I finally realized the lies and myths I was taught, it is my duty as a righteous person to speak out”.

This declaration by a true “Palestinian” should have some significance for a sincerely neutral observer. Indeed, there is no such a thing like a Palestinian people, or a Palestinian culture, or a Palestinian language, or a Palestinian history. There has never been any Palestinian state, neither any Palestinian archaeological find nor coinage. The present-day “Palestinians” are an Arab people, with Arab culture, Arabic language and Arab history. They have their own Arab states from where they came into the Land of Israel about one century ago to contrast the Jewish immigration. That is the historical truth. They were Jordanians (another recent British invention, as there has never been any people known as “Jordanians”), and after the Six-Day War in which Israel utterly defeated the coalition of nine Arab states and took legitimate possession of Judea and Samaria, the Arab dwellers in those regions underwent a kind of anthropological miracle and discovered that they were Palestinians – something they did not know the day before.

The Roman emperor Hadrian was utterly upset with the Jewish Nation and wanted to erase the name of Israel and Judah from the face of the Earth, so that there would be no memory of the country that belonged to that rebel people. He decided to replace the denomination of that Roman province and resorted to ancient history in order to find a name that might appear appropriate, and found that an extinct people that was unknown in Roman times, called “Philistines”, was once dwelling in that area and were enemies of the Israelites. Therefore, according to Latin spelling, he invented the new name: “Palæstina”, a name that would be also hateful for the Jews as it reminded them their old foes. He did so with the explicit purpose of effacing any trace of Jewish history. Ancient Romans, as well as modern Palestinians, have fulfilled the Hebrew Scriptures Prophecy that declares: “They lay crafty plans against Your People… they say: ‘come, let us wipe them out as a nation; let the name of Israel be remembered no more’.” – Tehilim 83:3-4 (Psalm 83:3-4). They failed, as Israel is still alive. Any honest person would recognize that there is no mention of the name Palestina in history before the Romans renamed the province of Judea, that such name does not occur in any ancient document, is not written in the Bible, neither in the Hebrew Scriptures nor in the Christian Testament, not even in Assyrian, Persian, Macedonian, Ptolemaic, Seleucian or other Greek sources, and that not any “Palestinian” people has ever been mentioned, not even by the Romans that invented the term.

There is no reference to any Palestinian people in the qur’an (koran), although muslims claim that their prophet was once in Jerusalem (an event that is not mentioned in the koran either). It appears evident that he did not meet any Palestinian in his whole life, nor his successors did either. Caliph Salahuddin al-Ayyub (Saladin), knew the Jews and kindly invited them to settle in Jerusalem, that he recognized as their Homeland, but he did not know any Palestinian… To claim that Palestinians are the original people of Eretz Yisrael is not only against secular history but also against Islamic history!

The name “Falastin” that Arabs today use for “Palestine” is not an Arabic name, but adopted and adapted from the Latin Palæstina . How can an Arab people have a western name instead of one in their own language?

An Arab writer and journalist declared:

“There has never been a land known as Palestine governed by Palestinians. Palestinians are Arabs, indistinguishable from Jordanians (another recent invention), Syrians, Iraqis, etc. Keep in mind that the Arabs control 99.9 percent of the Middle East lands. Israel represents one-tenth of one percent of the landmass. But that’s too much for the Arabs. They want it all. And that is ultimately what the fighting in Israel is about today… No matter how many land concessions the Israelis make, it will never be enough”.

– Joseph Farah, “Myths of the Middle East” –

Arabs have said:

“There is no such country as Palestine. ‘Palestine’ is a term the Zionists invented. There is no Palestine in the Bible. Our country was for centuries part of Syria. ‘Palestine’ is alien to us. It is the Zionists who introduced it”.

– Auni Bey Abdul-Hadi, Syrian Arab leader to British Peel Commission, 1937 –

“There is no such thing as Palestine in history, absolutely not”.

– Professor Philip Hitti, Arab historian, 1946 –

“It is common knowledge that Palestine is nothing but Southern Syria”.

– Representant of Saudi Arabia at the United Nations, 1956 –

When the State of Israel was reborn in 1948 c.e., the “Palestinians” did not exist yet, the Arabs had still not discovered that “ancient” people. They were too busy with the purpose of annihilating the new Sovereign State and did not intend to create any Palestinian entity, but only to distribute the land among the already existing Arab states. They were defeated. They attempted again to destroy Israel in 1967, and were humiliated in only six days, in which they lost the lands that they had usurped in 1948. In those 19 years of Arab occupation of Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the Gaza Strip, neither Jordan nor Egypt suggested to create a “Palestinian” state, since the still non-existing Palestinians would have never claimed their alleged right to have their own state… Paradoxically, during the British Mandate, it was not any Arab group but the Jews that were known as “Palestinians”!

Arabs declared after the Six-Day War:

“There are no differences between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. We are all part of one nation. It is only for political reasons that we carefully underline our Palestinian identity… yes, the existence of a separate Palestinian identity serves only tactical purposes. The founding of a Palestinian state is a new tool in the continuing battle against Israel”.

– Zuhair Muhsin, military commander of the PLO and member of the PLO Executive Council –

“You do not represent Palestine as much as we do. Never forget this one point: There is no such thing as a Palestinian people, there is no Palestinian entity, there is only Syria. You are an integral part of the Syrian people, Palestine is an integral part of Syria. Therefore it is we, the Syrian authorities, who are the true representatives of the Palestinian people”.

– Syrian dictator Hafez Assad to the PLO leader Yassir Arafat –

“As I lived in Palestine, everyone I knew could trace their heritage back to the original country their great grandparents came from. Everyone knew their origin was not from the Canaanites, but ironically, this is the kind of stuff our education in the Middle East included. The fact is that today’s Palestinians are immigrants from the surrounding nations! I grew up well knowing the history and origins of today’s Palestinians as being from Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Christians from Greece, muslim Sherkas from Russia, muslims from Bosnia, and the Jordanians next door. My grandfather, who was a dignitary in Bethlehem, almost lost his life by Abdul Qader Al-Husseni (the leader of the Palestinian revolution) after being accused of selling land to Jews. He used to tell us that his village Beit Sahur (The Shepherds Fields) in Bethlehem County was empty before his father settled in the area with six other families. The town has now grown to 30,000 inhabitants”.

– Walid Shoebat, an “ex-Palestinian” Arab –

How long do “Palestinians” live in “Palestine”?

According to the United Nations weird standards, any person that spent TWO YEARS (!!!) in “Palestine” before 1948, with or without proof, is a “Palestinian”, as well as all the descendants of that person.

It is thoroughly documented that the first inhabitants of Eretz Yisrael after some centuries were the Jewish pioneers, and not the Arabs so-called Palestinians. Some eyewitnesses have written their memories about the Land before the Jewish immigration:

“There is not a solitary village throughout its whole extent (valley of Jezreel, Galilea); not for thirty miles in either direction… One may ride ten miles hereabouts and not see ten human beings. For the sort of solitude to make one dreary, come to Galilee… Nazareth is forlorn… Jericho lies a mouldering ruin… Bethlehem and Bethany, in their poverty and humiliation… untenanted by any living creature… A desolate country whose soil is rich enough, but is given over wholly to weeds… a silent, mournful expanse… a desolation… We never saw a human being on the whole route… Hardly a tree or shrub anywhere. Even the olive tree and the cactus, those fast friends of a worthless soil had almost deserted the country… Palestine sits in sackcloth and ashes… desolate and unlovely…”.

– Mark Twain, “The Innocents Abroad”, 1867 –

Where had the Palestinians been hidden that Mark Twain did not see them? Where was that “ancient” people in the mid XIX century c.e.? Of course, modern biased Arab politicians try to discredit Mark Twain and insult and blame him of racism. Yet, it seems that there were other people that did not achieve in recognizing a single Palestinian in those times and earlier:

“In 1590 a ‘simple English visitor’ to Jerusalem wrote: ‘Nothing there is to bescene but a little of the old walls, which is yet remayning and all the rest is grasse, mosse and weedes much like to a piece of rank or moist grounde’.”.

– Gunner Edward Webbe, Palestine Exploration Fund,
Quarterly Statement, p. 86; de Haas, History, p. 338 –

“The land in Palestine is lacking in people to till its fertile soil”.

– British archaeologist Thomas Shaw, mid-1700s –

“Palestine is a ruined and desolate land”.

– Count Constantine François Volney, XVIII century French author and historian –

“The area was underpopulated and remained economically stagnant until the arrival of the first Zionist pioneers in the 1880’s, who came to rebuild the Jewish land. The country had remained “The Holy Land” in the religious and historic consciousness of mankind, which associated it with the Bible and the history of the Jewish people. Jewish development of the country also attracted large numbers of other immigrants – both Jewish and Arab. The road leading from Gaza to the north was only a summer track suitable for transport by camels and carts… Houses were all of mud. No windows were anywhere to be seen… The plows used were of wood… The yields were very poor… The sanitary conditions in the village [Yabna] were horrible… Schools did not exist… The rate of infant mortality was very high… The western part, toward the sea, was almost a desert… The villages in this area were few and thinly populated. Many ruins of villages were scattered over the area, as owing to the prevalence of malaria, many villages were deserted by their inhabitants”.

– The report of the British Royal Commission, 1913 –

The Bottom line is that the So called “West Bank” (The Biblical lands of Judea and Samaria) were lands under the sovereignty of Jordan till they attacked Israel and lost the war and the land.

Gaza also was ruled by Egypt till that they attack Israel and lost the war and the land.

Egypt now does not want Gaza back and neither does Jordan want back  The Biblical lands of Judea and Samaria.

There is no “Palestinian people” and never has been.

The United Nations Partition Plan for Palestine was a resolution adopted on 29 November 1947 by the General Assembly of the United Nations. Its title was United Nations General Assembly Resolution 181 (II) Future Government of Palestine.

The resolution recommended the termination of the British Mandate for Palestine and the partition of the territory into two states, one Jewish and one Arab, with the Jerusalem-Bethlehem area being under special international protection, administered by the United Nations

The proposed plan was accepted by the leaders of the Jewish community in Palestine, through the Jewish Agency. However, the plan was rejected by leaders of the Arab community (the Palestine Arab Higher Committee etc.), who were supported in their rejection by the states of the Arab League. In a communication to the United Nations Palestine Commission dated 19 January 1948, the Arab Higher Committee for Palestine stated that it was “determined [to] persist in rejection [to the] partition and in refusal [to] recognize UNO resolution [with] this respect and anything deriving therefrom”.

On the day before the United Kingdom was to complete its withdrawal, (i.e. 14 May 1948) the Jewish community in Palestine published a Declaration of Independence as the State of Israel, and five Arab armies crossed into the former Mandate as the start of the 1948 Arab–Israeli War.

Arab leaders threatened the Jewish population of Palestine, speaking of “driving the Jews into the sea” and ridding Palestine “of the Zionist Plague”. On the eve of the Arab armies invasion, Azzam Pasha, the General Secretary of the Arab League, “describing the fate of the Jews” is said to have declared: “This will be a war of extermination and a momentous massacre which will be spoken of like the Mongolian massacres and the Crusades”

Arabs control 99.9 percent of the Middle East lands The Arabs lost their wars with Israel and need to get over it, and get on with their lives.

Israel is mentioned in the Bible 2498 times

The Oslo accords were made so to settle a territorial dispute. But in truth the foundation of the Dispute is not  territorial  anymore the the present conflict with the IS the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria and the west. The foundation of the Dispute is ideological not territorial. This is clear :

The words of the Hadith (Islamic Philosophy):

“The Hour [Resurrection] will not take place until the Muslims fight the Jews,
and kill them. And the Jews will hide behind the rock and tree, and the rock and
tree will say: oh Muslim, oh servant of Allah, this is a Jew behind me, come and
kill him!”

Israel and the west, modernity are facing a cultural challenge, they are being force to go against their founding Ethos and culture. They are being forced into waging a “Religious war”. At the Oslo accords the Jews for the first time in History told the Arabs they had a right to part of the land of Israel. They did this thinking that all that had to be settled was a territorial disbute to establish peace. But this is not so !

Some Arabs would like to say Israel is a Apartheid state but there is no truth to this

South African apartheid was an array of segregative and discriminatory laws based on race. THERE IS NONE OF THIS IN ISREAL. If annexation of territory without affording full voting rights means apartheid, then the USA has been –and continues to be- an apartheid state for over 100 years:

The US captured the island of Puerto Rico (3.6 million residents) from Spain 116 years ago. Its residents cannot vote in US federal elections.

The US captured the island of Guam (150,000 residents) from Spain 116 years ago. No voting rights, as above.

The US bought the Virgin Islands (106,000 residents) from Denmark 97 years ago. No voting rights as above.

The Northern Mariana Islands (77,000 residents) were captured from Japan 70 years ago and became a UN-American mandate. For the past 36 years, they have been under US sovereignty. No voting rights, as above.

The US captured American Samoa (55,000 residents) from Spain 116 years ago. Its status is different; it is a protectorate of the US. No voting rights, as above.

Nobody accuses the US of apartheid because the people in its territories do not have federal voting rights.

Arab nations surrounding Israel vowed to make the blue Mediterranean run red with the blood of Jews.

“We were thinking in terms that the Israelis are going to be thrown to the water,” Ret. General Eitan Ben-Eliyahu said.

On the morning of June 5, 1967 Ben-Eliyahu flew one of the first missions against Egyptian air fields in the Sinai.

“This is a matter of life and death,” he said. “This is a matter of Israel is going to be destroyed. This is matter like this is the third chapter of our Independence Day, ’56, and now ’67.”

“The people were in panic, people were talking about the imminent destruction of the State of Israel, of a war in which there will be an enormous number of casualties; at least 10,000 people will be killed,” Ret. General Shlomo Givas said.

Rabbis in Jerusalem anticipated so many deaths they actually designated all of the public parks in Jerusalem as cemeteries.

According to all the military analysts and pundits, it was to be a lopsided match. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) consisted of 275,000 troops, compared to the 456,000 soldiers of the combined Iraqi, Syrian, Jordanian, and Egypt armies. Israel was celebrating its Independence Day when the Israeli government received word that Egyptian president Gamal Abdel Nasser was moving heavy artillery into the Sinai Desert. Additionally, large numbers of Egyptian forces were crossing the Suez Canal into the Sinai Desert. The Egyptian government had put its army on alert for an upcoming war. Syria and Jordan, too, moved into a state of alert and announced that they would not sit by idly if Israel attacked Egypt.

Israel was celebrating its Independence Day, on the next day, the Egyptians instructed the United Nations Emergency Force (UNEF), whose stated role was to serve as a buffer between Israel and Egypt, to leave the Sinai Desert. UNEF complied with this directive. A week later, Egypt closed the Straits of Tiran to Israeli vessels and any ships that transported military equipment to Israel. Israel considered this move as an act of war.

Reports of supernatural and angelic interventions on Israel’s behalf came from both the Israelis and the Arabs. The prophet Zechariah had foretold that in the end times, God will defend Israel and send His angels to fight for and with His people. Zechariah 12:8 “In that day shall the Lord defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the House of David shall be as God, as the angel of the Lord before them.”

A story is told of a small Jewish community, Pekiin under siege by Arabs who were determined to wipe them out. However, they encountered huge strange beings with flaming swords, and they ran away in great fear, as the astonished village rabbi watched them.

Gershon Salomon joined the IDF, he led a company in the Golan Heights. In 1958, in a battle with the Syrian Army, Mr. Salomon was injured accidently when, in the heat and confusion of battle, he was run over by a tank. Syrian soldiers are trained to shoot “again” any wounded Israeli soldiers. When they were about to shoot “again” Mr. Salomon, they all suddenly ran away. Later these Syrians soldiers reported to UN officers that they had seen thousands of angels around this IDF officer and had, therefore, fled. It was at this time that Mr. Salomon heard the voice of G-d speaking to him that He was not yet finished with him. Gershon Salomon understood this as a divine call to consecrate himself to the work of the Temple Mount.

Colonel Uri Banari tells his eyewitness account of the conquest of Shechem:
“At the entrance to Shechem stood thousands of Arabs who waved white handkerchiefs and clapped their hands. In our naivete, we returned greetings and smiles. We entered the town and wondered: We are advancing and there is no disorder, no panic, the local armed guards stand by with rifles in their hands keeping order, and the crowds are cheering.”

“Suddenly something happened which changed the entire picture in a moment. One of our officers wanted to disarm an Arab guard. When the latter refused, our officer fired a shot in the air. At that moment, all the crowds disappeared and streets emptied out. The Arabs began sniper fire.”

“I didn’t comprehend what had transpired. Only later, did I understand. The residents of Shechem thought that we were the Iraqi forces who were due to arrive from the direction of Jordan. The numerous enemy tanks were situated on the west side of Shechem. They woke up to their error very late.”

“The Arabs were surprised; the fear of the Jews fell upon them. In Hevron, and in Shechem, in Jenin and in Jericho the Arabs were heavily armed. There was not even one small Arab village without arms. With great haste, the Arabs, however, hid their weapons and didn’t consider using them. They raised their hands up, and flew white flags of surrender from every edifice. The fear of G-d fell upon hundreds of thousands of proud Arabs, who were filled with hatred and loathing for Israel. Only yesterday, they had sworn to fight until their last drop of blood.”

In the late hours of the night, an IDF truck loaded with arms and shells parked next to a Jerusalem building. Its mission was to bring a fresh supply of ammunition to the front line outposts. The element of danger was great in that were the truck to be hit by enemy fire, the subsequent explosions of all the ammo would bring down all the buildings in the area on their inhabitants. Suddenly the whistling of an approaching enemy shell was heard, and the shell, indeed, scored a direct hit on the vehicle.

But the Arab shell did not explode. It remained perched atop the pile of Israeli shells in the truck.

Yisrael, a cab driver who was drafted to fight in the 6-Day War as part of the paratroop unit assigned with conquering the Straits of Tiran, told the following upon his return:

The Israeli soldiers didn’t have to parachute out of the Nord airplanes which took them to the Tiran Straits. They landed like spoiled tourists in the airport, because the Egyptian regiment which was on guard there fled before the Israeli trips were visible on the horizon. After landing, I was sent with another reserves soldier, an electrician, to patrol the area. When we had distanced ourselves two kilometers, an Egyptian half track appeared before us filled with soldiers and mounted with machine guns on every side. We had only light weapons with a few bullets that couldn’t stop the half track for a second. We couldn’t turn back, so we stood there in despair, waited for the first shot, and for lack of a better idea, aimed our guns at them.

But the shots didn’t come.

The half track came to a halt, and we decided to cautiously approach it. We found 18 armed soldiers inside sitting with guns in hand, with a petrified look on their faces. They looked at us with great fear as though begging for mercy. I shouted ‘Hands up!’ As we were marching them and I had returned to a state of calm, I asked the Egyptian sergeant next to me, ‘Tell me, why didn’t you shoot at us?’ He answered, ‘I don’t know. My arms froze – they became paralyzed. My whole body was paralyzed, and I don’t know why.’
It turned out that these soldiers didn’t know that the Straits of Tiran were already in Israeli hands; why didn’t they elminiate us? I don’t have an answer. How can one say that G-d didn’t help us.”

Haaretz Newspaper’s Bottom Line
Following his blow-by-blow analysis, the military correspondent for the secular Haaretz Newspaper summed up the 6-Day War with the admission: “Even a non-religious person must admit this war was fought with help from heaven.” [ibid, p. 445]

A German Viewpoint
A German journalist summarized: “Nothing like this has happened in history. A force including a 1000 tanks, hundreds of artillery cannons, many rockets and fighter jets, and a hundred thousand soldiers armed from head to toe was destroyed in two days in an area covering hundreds of kilometers filled with reinforced outposts and installations. And this victory was carried out by a force that lost many soldiers and much equipment, positions, and vehicles. No military logic or natural cause can explain this monumental occurrence.” [ibid, p. 446.]

FORCE ZVIKA
On that night, Greengold found himself on the front lines blocking a Syrian tank column in the Golan Heights – completely alone. The Syrians did not know that his tank was the only one blocking them. Over the radio waves he kept referring to himself as “Force Zvika.” The enemy mistakenly thought him to be a battalion.

Zvika, found that he was now standing between his people and annihilation, again. Fierce battles raged all night, Israeli reinforcements came but were all quickly taken out by the Syrians. Greengold was wounded but commandered a tank and hours later took out the last Syrian tank. He was awarded the country’s highest honor.

A rather embellished story is told of Shlomo Goren, the Chief Rabbi of the IDF, who accompanied his troops during the Six-day War. As the Israeli forces fought their way into Jerusalem, pushing back the Jordanian army, Rabbi Goren marched at the front of the troops, holding high a Sefer Torah and a Shofar – a symbolic ram’s horn. Even as the soldiers engaged in battle, shots cracking and ricocheting around him, an unarmed Goren held the holy scrolls aloft and led his troops to the Western Wall of the Temple, where he blew the shofar calling the Jewish people home to Jerusalem. There they prayed to God and thanked them for their delivery. It was God that had secured victory for the Jewish people, handing them the original homelands of the Jewish people – in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria. And by positioning himself at the head of the troops, Rabbi Goren placed religion at the vanguard of Jewish politics.

An Israeli military historian recorded that during the 1973 Yom Kippur war, an Israeli soldier in the Sinai took captive an Egyptian column and led them to where the Israeli troops were. The Egyptian commander was asked why he and his men gave themselves up to the lone Israeli soldier. He responded with surprise; “One soldier? There were thousands of them.” He said that as they neared the Israeli lines, the “soldiers” began disappearing. The Israeli soldier reported that he was by himself when the Egyptian commander and his men surrendered to him. He was totally unaware of the “thousands of soldiers” the Egyptian soldiers saw with him, since he himself did not see them. Psalm 91:10-11 promises that “No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling, For He shall give his angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.”

The documentary shows an eye witness account; Commander David Yinni, during the 1973 Yom Kippur war, preparing to retreat from the Syrian army, when he realised that he and his men were trapped in the middle of a minefield. He ordered his men to clear the mines using their bayonets, crawl on the ground and dig 30 inches deep, carefully disengaging the mines. The slightest mistake and they were in peril of being blown up. One of his men prayed. Suddenly, a windstorm came upon them. It was so strong that it lifted up their tanks and rocked them. By the time the storm moved on, it had literally blown 30 inches of topsoil off. The Israeli soldiers could see every single mine and quickly made their escape.

God’s protection over Israel is also for nations and people who believe in Him and worship Him as the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.
