The God when He gave us the Bible set a yearly cycle by which it is suggested to illuminate (read) in the Holy “Book”. Concerning the parsha (portion) for this week:

In the beginning of the parshah On the verse, “Send for yourself men and let them spy out the land of Canaan” (Bamidbar 13:2), Rashi cites the Sages saying: “Send for yourself. according to your own understanding. I am not commanding you, but if you wish, you may send this is according to the Midrash Tanchumah Parsha Shelach..” This happened becouse the Children of Israel had approached Moshe and said, “Let us send men ahead of us” (Devarim 1:22), prompting Moshe to ask Hashem for advice. Hashem replied: “I told them that the land was good”, as it is written: ‘I shall bring you up from the affliction of Egypt…to a land flowing with milk and honey’ [Shemot 3:17]. The Steipler Goan says that when the spies enter the land Joshua and Calev were pursued night and day from the very day they arrived, they were hunted with a vengeance, while the other spies went unnoticed but what they choose to notice was the problem. The “meraglim” (“spies”) who were sent to scout out the land, ten of whom returned with a terrible and frightening report By their words the children of Yisrael set up a opportunity to transgress against God and the words of the spies, was the beginning of the very evil result, resulting in the whole generation not inheriting the land.” Their mistake was thinking that their lives were subject to the same natural order as every none else. But in truth their ultimate success did not depended on their own military prowess, The God had been working for Yisrael supernatural providence time and time again. What were they thinking ? This was a grievous error.
The people were told that they had to remain in the desert for the next 40 years, during which time the adult generation would die. At this point the Torah skips over the next thirty-eight years in the desert. The Natziv explains that this time was a transition between these two generations. A time of change from a period in the desert where the Israelites were living by revealed miracles to where the Israelites will be living by nature in The Land of Israel. But even with this Moses wanted the Israelites to know that even though they would be required to secure a livelihood in the natural setting of Israel. The final result would depend no less on God than when the manna which descended directly from Heaven.
After this a lengthy 40 year desert sojourn, the people received other commandments. In addition to the burnt-offerings, feast-offerings we were commanded to bring meal-offerings and libations. Also given to the people is the commandments of removing “challah” and tithing the harvest. A “sin offering” was ordered for anyone who non intentionally sinned, and the people are commanded to stone the intentional transgressor of Shabbat . We also get here the commandment of “Tzitzit”, the commandment to tie fringes to a garment that has four corners. This commandment is one of the special commandments in the Torah whose purpose is clearly written in a manner that cannot be ignored:
It is written “ And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, Speak to the people of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a thread of blue”
The Meshech Chochma says that, We humans say about God, He is absolute and perfect. We might have expected, then, that the reality He created would be perfect as well. But when we look around us, or at ourselves, we discover that reality is far from perfect. Human reality is also composed of impurity and sin, injustice and mistakes. The gap between the Creator of the Universe and the world He created can be explained based on the verse from Psalms (115, 16): “The heavens are heavens of the Lord, but the earth He gave to the children of men”. G-d created a reality that is not perfect because He gave it to humans to control and to determine whether or not it would reflect Divine values and thus become perfect, or, heaven forbid, the opposite. This is why we all ways have “Tzizit” to remind us of the commandments which are the perfection of the world and man.
The greatness of the mitzvah of tzitzit is described by our Sages: “This mitzvah is equal to all the mitzvot together” (Menachot 43b). Rashi explains the reasoning behind this: “Because the numerical value of the tzitzit is 600. [Add to this] 8 threads and 5 knots, and we have 613.”The Torah also states “You shall not go after your eyes or your heart that lead you astray”. Meaning away from the way of GOD. As the sitzet allude to all the commandments as the numerical value of sitzet plus their 8 threads and 5 knots equals 613 (all the commandments). Do not follow your eyes astray, but contemplate the commandments which direct us in the way which is upright. Do not follow your heart astray but love GOD. As mistakes begin when one acts in a way not prescribed by the Torah. Like in our parsha the sages say GOD never told Yisreal to send spies. That is why the parsha begins with the words “send to you spies”. The people asked for this. GOD certainly did not need them to be sent. So it should not be surprising that their mission did not turn out well. This is where things begin to go wrong. Wrong for a long time as this was the 9th of Av. The day of destruction of both temples. Since GOD did not say to send out spies, the spies became filled and obsessed with excessive desires for honor. When arrogance rises upon one’s heart, the Shechinah (Divine Presence) flees. As the 2 do not dwell together. From this they were caught in their own sin. The sin of the spies has not yet been fully forgiven. For the next 39 years the generation of the desert would dig their own graves every Ninth of Av and went to sleep in them. The next morning some did not wake up ever again. The day the spies brought their bad report became the saddest day in our calendar, the Ninth of Av. It’s the day both Temples were destroyed on. We need to understand the exact nature of the sin of the spies so that we don’t repeat it. Their sin resulted in all Yisrael losing faith. As is written “our brothers have made our hearts melt”. This is much like todays false leaders who say ”there is no way to stop the rockets that hit our cities daily”, but this is ever so far from the truth. There is a simple solution ”overwhelming military force”. They did in, “Operation Cast Lead”, and the rockets stopped , for a while. Though in the future more ”overwhelming military force” may be required, until it becomes learned that peace is a better way. Also there are those who discourage others from settling in the Holy land saying its to difficult to live there and they have every excuse in the book and then some. Some in the generation of leaving Egypt did not want to Go into the Holy Land as they knew when they did Moses would die as he was told by God he could not enter the land. But the truth of the matter is “Saddikim” (Holy men) never die, but that the soul of Moses is revealed in every “Saddik” of the generation.
After the parsha speaks about a man killed for profaning the Shabbot by gathering sticks. The Parsha begins talking about “Sitzet” .We may not be allowed to wear Tefillin on Shabbot which are a constant reminder of God Therefore God reminds us that we have another of him “ tzitzit “. So words concerning of “tzitzit” come here to remind us the even if we don’t wear “Tefillin” on Shabbot we still have the “Sitzet” to remind us of Hashem. Also we can learn from the juxtaposition of “Parsha Sitzet” next to the parsha that speaks about a man killed for profaning the Shabbot, that a dead person, is obligated to wear “tzitzis”, The greatness of the mitzvah of tzitzit is described by our Sages: “This mitzvah is equal to all the mitzvot together” (Menachot 43b).
The sages warned us against these false leaders when they wrote almost 2000 years ago concerning these times in the ancient manuscript “Signs of the Messiah” we are told that before Redemption GOD will stand up kings over his people Yisreal who will reject his Torah in their dat (knowledge). They will be liars, But they will see themselves as those who serve GOD, but they do not. They will be disgusting. They will confuse all creation. Even the transgressors among Yisrael will be further removed from the redemption by these leaders who reject GOD, and the fear of Him. This will be a generation where truth is despised. At this time Yisrael will be without a king or true leader, alter or sacrifices. This generation will suffer because of harsh decrees that are different, strange and tragic made by these kings who reject GOD . They will make atheistic rulings against the Temple, GOD and his Torah.
Towards the end of the parsha some men went up to the land, it says ”the ark was not with them”. They went of their own accord. GOD had not told them to take the land at that time, but they went up anyway. Like the spies their action was not in accordance with Divine will, so how could it be successful ?. Only if our actions are in accordance with the Torah, Divine will, can we succeed in the end. The people could not enter the land till they were ready and could go with the Ark. With out the Torah one just doesn’t stand a chance in the Holy land. As the verse states “The land is a land that consumes its inhabitants”. R. Ostrowicze explains “its inhabitants” which literally in Hebrew means those who sit are consumed by the land. As the Holy land will not allow one to stay who is not moving higher and higher in Holiness. The prophets warn us concerning this as Isiah says:
” In that day shall the plant of YHVH shall be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the land shall be excellent and beautiful for those that remain of Israel. And it will come to pass that he that remains in Zion and He that remains in Jerusalem shall be called Holy,” (4:2)
The tribe of Levi did not send a man to spy out the land with the rest of Yisrael. Because the tribe of Levi did not make their living by farming. They serve as priests and Levites in the Temple and teach Torah. They lived off the various tithes from the other tribes. They lived in 48 cities that were given to them, which were surrounded by parks, but they possessed no agricultural territory. When spying out the land of Israel the soul of Joseph entered the body of the spy of the tribe of Menasheh. So it’s written: “ the tribe of Joseph, of the tribe of Menasheh”. The Talmud Yerushalmi teaches concerning the name change of Hoshea to Yehoshua at the beginning of our parsha an extra ‘yud’ is needed. It came from the ‘yud’ from the name Sarai, mother of our people, wife of Avraham, when her name changed to become Sarah. The free ‘yud’ that was taken from Sarai was added to the name of Hoshea, to enable him to become Yehoshua. Only 2 out of the12 chosen men best of their tribes passed their tests. Only Yehoshua and Caleb ben YefunehCaleb ben Yefuneh HaKenizi according to the Talmud is the same as Caleb, ben Hetzron, of I Chronicles 2:18. There, we read that Caleb married a woman named Azuvah, and when she died, took a new wife called Efrat. Caleb’s son with Efrat was Hur, whose son was Uri, whose son was the famous Betzalel, craftsman of the Mishkan. Moshe feared for Joshua’s safety as he was from the tribe of Ephraim (Joseph’s son), and Joseph once gave an evil report about his brothers. Therefore in an attempt to protect Joshua , Moshe added the letter “yud” to his name.
All Jewish people need to feel, get in touch with their soul’s natural love for the Holy land ! To engage in that that momentous “Aliyah” (Going up) from the Diaspora to the Holy Land is so HUGE. Love the land appreciate how fortunate we are to have Israel, our God given homeland should be a central to our Jewish lives. Today many religious Jews do not focus on discovering the Holiness of The Holy Land. If they do go to Israel they go only as tourists. Not coming to “explore” the Holiness of The Land so their eyes are closed. Many are so foolish these days they only speak about the defects they find in The Land. Making excuses for not living or even coming to The Holy Land to feeding their soul and fulfill the Biblical commandment to live in The Holy Land. It sounds like they are involved in the sin of the spies. It did not turn out well for them ? Those who portray an unfairly negative image of Israel within our society will be held accountable, look what happened to the spies in our parsha. They were thrown from greatness hard and fast .
We need to become zealous for Hashem and his Holy Land every Jew that possible can should move to the Holy Land and begin living the Holiest Life possible ! Live with zeal , in this weeks parsha a man named Tzlofchod goes out and gathers sticks on Shabbot in public deliberately and is sentenced to death
There are those who say Tzlofchod violated the laws of Shabot intentionally for the right reasons. He wanted to show the people the severity of Shabot violation. When people would see him stoned for desecrating Shabbos this sight would have a strong impact and act as a deterrent. There are three opinions which law of Shabot he transgressed: carrying four amot in the public domain, uprooting , maamer and heaping. (Gemora Shabbos 96b)
We see in the parsha even after the spies bring back a bad report and GOD is very disappointed with us, and wants to bring severe judgment. The intercession of Moshe saves us. R. Yochanon states ”wherever you find greatness you find meekness”. GOD wishes the world to acknowledge him, then He will suspend justice and retribution to further this end. For this reason we must appeal to GOD for mercy upon his people as the hour is ”dark”, as enemies surround us. With Divine intervention we will find protection and Peace. With a complete redemption with our righteous Messiah and the Holy Temple built Quickly in our days. AMEN

says Rabeinu Bechayai the seven branches of the Menorah represent the seven types of wisdom, “teaching us
that all of wisdom was hewn out of the Torah as its source” [Natziv].
“ONE MUST LIVE WITH THE TIMES” THIS ALSO REFERS TO LIVING IN THE TORAH PARSHA OF THE WEEK Bahalotecha בס”ד It says in this weeks parsha “ When you go to war against an enemy in your land, you shall sound the trumpets “. Concerning this verse the Shalah haKodesh says that the enemy referred here is the evil inclination. Like an invader he is always trying to nourish from Holiness. Time and time again he comes to do battle. This battle should not be taken lying down, but one must sound the trumpets. Meaning one must arouse their Nashama with great vigor. This is done by performing the mitzvot (commandment) with great kavana (intent). The sages mean this when they say that if one’s evil inclination rises up against him let him take it to the bait midrash (place of learning). If this does not work he should say the sma (Meditate on the Name of God), and if this does not work let him think of the day of death. Now we must also consider “When you go to war against an enemy in your land” in its most simple sense, as there is no doubt that The Jewish people have enemies in the Holy Land now. Know that these enemies are a manifestation of our evil inclinations, by this they are given force. By our adherence to the Torah, and standing strongly against those who are against God’s Torah. We shall conquer all our enemies, with the help of God. In our parsha is probably the most unusual verses in the whole Torah They are surrounded by two inverted “NuN” one before and one after. There is nothing like this Phenomena anywhere else in the whole Tanac”h. The interesting thing about these nuns is that nobody really knows what they’re supposed to look like, nobody really knows where they ought to be, and nobody really knows what they’re doing there anyway, and yet they exist and are a prescribed part of every Sefer Torah. These two verses are enclosed with a long space then a inverted NUN , then another long space on the other end. The two Nun can be written not only backward, but upside down, facing front, looking back over their shoulders. reversed, inverted, inverse or in disarray. There are many scribal rules about these spaces and letters, to this is no universal agreement. Where does the idea of adding these Scribal arrangements come from ? Must not the two Nun have been originally written into the text by hand by Moshe Rabbeynu atop Mount Sinai as dictated by The Holy One Since we are forbidden by Torah to add anything to the Torah ? As the Torah states “All this word which I command you, that you will observe to do; do not add to it, nor diminish from it. ” (Deuteronomy 13:1) If not, the only other explanation plausible is that the Rabbis instituted this following God’s command to ” build a fence around the Torah”, to help the rest of us avoid breaking the Torah’s laws. The Inverted Nun surrounding these verses look much like a “fence” surrounding the letters of the verses. Another reason for the 2 inverted nun is because : Every single letter of these two verses was dotted, causing a very problematic result: difficult to lay out, to write, and to read. So dotting all the words could not actually be done, but it was alluded to by Nun around our verses referring to “nikud” (point), for this reason are the 2 inverted nun. : When the Ark went forth, Moses said : “Arise, O God, and scatter your enemies! Let your foes flee before You!” When it came to rest, he said, “Return, O God, the myriads of Israel’s thousands” (Numbers 10:35-36) The first verse has 12 words, like the last verse of the Torah and the second verse has 7 words like the first verse of the Torah. Rebbe (R. Yehuda HaNasi) said: (BaMidbar 10:35-36) ranks as a separate book of the Torah. The Talmud says with this section God placed symbols above and below… because it ranks as a significant book unto itself (Talmud, Shabbat 115b). Thus this renders the Torah into seven books. 1) Genesis, 2) Exodus, 3) Leviticus. 4) The beginning of the book of Numbers up to these two verses, 5) These two verses, 6) The rest of the book of Numbers, and 7) Deuteronomy]. These two verses consist of 85 letters. The sages tell us these two verses enclosed by the ‘inverted NuNs’ can be a separate book of the Torah as sefer (book) must be at least 85 letters long. This division of the Torah to 7 books will not be revealed until Mashiach arrives. 85 is =פה (mouth) For when the mouth is used for kidusha (Holiness) this creates a force , a flow of Kidusha in this person focusing him on spirituality fulfillment. By learning Torah speaking it out loud with a forceful voice is a very powerful tool for self change. Words of Torah are the Word of God. Concerning this verse it is written in the Emek ha Melech that “Whoever reads these words daily with proper intention will not be hurt, even when he may travel to a place of thieves, be at sea or in another dangerous location “ We actually say these verses every time the Torah is taken out from the Ark when we read the Torah. By this our“enemies” are scattered and “foes” flee. RECALL in Biblical times, the ARK led the armed forces into combat TORAH IS AMAZING. The Rebbe Rashab teaches that the 2 upside down נ are two brackets that combine to create a square, which is ם that looks like this [ ] . It is known to the mikubalim that the sefirot called yosher (superatural) enter the sefirot of “nature” the circular sefirot at the end of the “kav” through the square. When all Israel (as 12 tribes) comes together as one and connect to the Torah, Mashiach will be revealed. The two inverted Nuns will drop and the Light of the Holy Ark will spread throughout the whole seven books of the Torah. The 19 (12+7) words will bring together the beginning and end of the Torah, closing the circle and flood existence with the light that awaits us from the day of creation. This will be enough for those who understand. “When the Ark will travel” alludes to the Divine light’s journey to Earth. The ark in Hebrew is “ohron,” which consists of the letters ohr (light) and nun. By this we come well prepared to face all adversaries. As with us is the light of the ark leading the way, giving us the power to “scatter” all enemies” and cause all foes to flee by the light that comes from between the “brackets”, the 2 upside down נ are two brackets that combine to create a square, which is ם that looks like this [ ] . The Chida in his book Nachal Kedumim the letter nun were chosen to box in these two verses is because the teachings contained within are from the fiftieth and highest gate of understanding which is hinted to by the numerical value of a nun, which is fifty, The Chida writes that now, we have only eighty-five letters left in these two verses alluding to there used to be more letters in this “sefer” of 2 verses. This is because The Zohar Chadash says that there are 600,000 letters in a Torah scroll. Counted the letters in a Torah scroll are 304,805 letters. It must be the 295195 other letters were or are hidden in the book between the “2 nun”. A Midrash explains a book called the Prophecy of Eldad and Medad was suppressed only these two verses remain of it. That is why they are marked by the inverted nuns
In the the Septuagint a second century BCE translation of the Torah into Greek. They did not translate the two verses where they are today. Rather they moved verses 35 and 36 to be before verse 34 ?
The Parshiyot from this point onward of the 2 upside down נ are different then those preceding, as these up coming parsha are full of difficulties, problems and failings.
R. Shimon ben Gamliel taught that this section when Mashiach comes will be removed from here and written in its rightful place. Its rightful place is in the chapter with the banners of the tribes in BaMidbar 2.This seems to be involved with the teaching of our sages that the stories in the Torah are not always arranged in chronological order. These verses were written here in order to provide an interruption between the first account of punishment. The first account of punishment is : “And they moved away from the mountain of the Lord…” (BaMidbar 10:33) The second account of punishment is : “And the people were as murmurers…” T (BaMidbar 11:1 When Amram decided to divorce Yocheved so as to be sure to not produce any babies for Pharoe to kill. Yocheved did not agree so she married Eltzapon ben Parnach of the Tribe of Dan. Their children are the Eldad and Medad in our parsha that prophesied. One when assaulted by their evil inclination needs to run into Holiness, as it says “the chyot (angels) ran and returned” (Ezekiel). By this running we will find ourselves in a new place with a new awareness far from the thoughts of the sitra achra (other side). As it is taught by Elijah the Prophet in Tana DebElyahu that to prevent the evil inclination from gaining a foothold, like Aaron haKohen one should daily light the Manorah so that it is always burning. As the Manorah has 7 openings, so are there found 7 openings in one’s head. We have 2 eyes. We must prevent our vision from leading us astray. One’s eyes need to be dedicated only for the use of Holiness. The eyes are conduits of Chuchmah (Divine wisdom, Creativity, inspiration). Let all ones inspiration lead to Holiness. Likewise one’s ears should not listen to evil. The ears are conduits of Divine understanding. Let all one’s understanding be found in the Torah. The nose is the sense by which Mashiach (Messiah) shall discern judgment. It is a conduit for Dat (Divine knowledge). Let one know before they proceed that what they will do will be Holy. While the mouth should be used to speak words of Torah and prayer, not lushon hora (evil speech). The mouth is the conduit of Malchut. Let it be that all one’s actions drive them closer to Holiness in the governance of God. If one guards these portals they will not nourish the evil inclination, and it will not come to slay them. When one is doing mitzvot it will have less strength to interfere. Like during tefila (prayer) the evil inclination will not interfere with their thoughts to distract his mind from his Divine contemplation. He will be able to perform his mitzvot with kavana (intention). By following such instruction we will win our battle against the yetzer hora (evil inclination). The yetzer hora will have no way to gain ascendency over us. Evil will have no way to gain nourishment. Then there will be yielded from the mitzvot that will be done in purity with great kavana a great degree of light ultimately heralding in with a great shofar blast with our righteous mashich, when evil shall finally be defeated. Then we shall rejoice with God in His Holy Temple and may this be quickly in our days.

Nelya Mikhailova moved objects with the power of the mind
Nelya Mikhailova’s real name was Nina Kulagina (30 July 1926 – April 1990) she was a Russian woman who demonstrated psychic powers, particularly in psychokinesis. Academic research of her phenomenon was conducted in the USSR for the last 20 years of her life.
During the Cold War, silent black-and-white films of her moving objects on a table in front of her without touching them.
These films were allegedly made under controlled conditions for Soviet authorities and caused excitement for many psychic researchers around the world, some of whom believed that they represented clear evidence for the existence of psychic phenomena. According to reports from the Soviet Union, 40 scientists, two of whom were Nobel laureates.
To ensure that external electromagnetic impulses did not interfere, she was placed inside of a metal cage while she supposedly demonstrated an ability to remove a marked matchstick from a pile of matchsticks under a glass dome.
Skeptic Soviet scientists checked her thoroughly before and after analyzing her demonstrations. Their tests ruled out wires, wind, building vibrations, or hypnotism as causes.
Electroencephalograph (brainwave) machines disclose that Mikhailova emits fifty times a normal person’s brain waves and is surrounded by an electromagnetic field one-tenth as powerful as that surrounding the entire Earth.
Nina could mentally see things inside people’s pockets. When she met sick people she could identify the disease they were suffering from. On one occasion when Kulagina was in a particularly angry mood, she was walking towards a cupboard in her apartment when a jug in the cupboard suddenly moved to the edge of the shelf, fell and smashed to pieces on the floor. After that, changes began to take place in her apartment. Lights went on and off; objects became animated and seemed somehow to be attracted to her. It was in effect a type of poltergeist activity, except that Kulagina was convinced the psychic power was coming from her and discovered that, if she tried, she could control it.
In 1964, while in hospital recovering from a nervous breakdown, Nina spent a lot of time sewing. According to published accounts doctors were amazed when they saw that she was able to reach into her sewing basket and choose any colour of thread she needed without looking at it. Local parapsychologists were contacted and the following year, when she had fully recovered, she agreed to take part in various experiments. Kulagina was tested and it was found that she could apparently ‘see’ colours with her fingertips, bringing to mind Rosa Kuleshova, a school teacher from the Ural Mountains, who also claimed to possess this talent. There are also instances where Kulagina apparently displayed extraordinary healing powers. She could, it was said, make wounds heal up simply by holding her hand above them. She was also tested by Russian scientists for psychokinesis and the results were apparently so remarkable that, in order to keep her real identity secret, she was obliged for many years to use the pseudonym of Nelya Mikhailova. What these remarkable results were, however, has never been exactly stated.
It is said that the tests and experiments put a strain on her health which caused Nina Kulagina to suffer a near fatal heart attack in the late 1970s which forced her to limit her mediumship.
Nelya Mikhailova’s moved of objects by mind power, stopped a frog’s heart, caused burns on skin, seperated yolk from the white of an egg and was able to interfere with medical and scientific equipment. While Sergeyev Detectors detected energy fields around Nelya’s body and they began to pulse in rythm with her heart beat and brainwaves, it has not been possible to monitor the energy fields around the objects when she directed her energy fields towards the objects nor upto the objects when the energy fields passed from her body to the objects.
Scientists and psychologists who tested Nina Kulagina pointed out that they physically examined the psychic to make sure there were no hidden magnets or threads. Moreover, there is said to be no direct evidence of her faking her abilities (Henry Gris and William Dick, The New Soviet Psychic Discovery, 1979)
Nina Kulagina died in 1990. It is believed that the over-exhaustion of her psychic abilities led to her death (Henry Gris and William Dick, 1979). The experiments had taken a toll on her and probably hastened her death. During one of her tests with Dr. Redjak, she was totally exhausted and she apparently lost almost four pounds in half an hour. (The psychic was said to be converting matter of her own body into energy.)

This is the longest parsha in the holy Torah. Having 176 verses in it TO BE EXACT What is its great significance ?. The longest psalm #119 also has exactly 176 verses. Its also interesting to not coincidence that the longest Gemora Bava Batra goes until page 176 ! This parsha is always read close to the Holiday of receiving the Torah the holiday of Shavout. our parsha’s length reminds us of the importance of learning alot of Torah. This parsha has hidden within it the format that will bring our righteous mashiach. Let us look closer. It says in the song of songs “The voice of the turtle is heard in our land”. The Zohar tells us the turtle is mashiach . As the parsha takes a long time to read, it takes the turtle long a long time to get there. As the day of Atonement may seem like a long day and creating the ashes, and water of purification of the Red Heifer is a long process. But as said by the Cohen Gadol on Yom Kipor “I shall sprinkle water on you and you shall be clean. Just as a fountain renders unclean clean so does Hashem make Yisrael clean”. May we all receive this water as the Torah is known as water. The Zohar in parsha Nasso includes the Idra Rabba, where Rebbe Shimon bar Yochai reveals great secrets of the Torah. In the Idra Rabba Rebbe Shimon gathers his students together so to bring out the uniqueness of each of his students, the unique ability of each one of them Rabbi Shimon, R. Eleazer, R. Aba, R. Yuhuda, R. Yosi bar Yaakov., R. Yitzchak, R. Chizkiyah bar Rav, R. Chiyah, R. Yosi and R. Yaasa. to shine together through each of their contributions In the Holy Zohar God can be known and revealed through His secrets.
Our parsha also discusses what happens when someone steals from a convert. This person owns no land, at least as Biblical inheritance as the land is divided up among the tribes. He has no social status, and no family. The Torah calls stealing from a convert “me’ilah”. This term usually describes when one uses something Holy for one’s own personal benefit. For example, if a person takes a cow that had been set aside to bring as a sacrifice cooks it and eats it. This would be an act of “me’ilah”. From this we can see that when one steals from a convert. They have stolen from God. In this parsha the first mention is to the family of the Levi, and their duties. It is by the duties of the Cohanaim that Yisrael is able to reach atonement through them. This is reflected in the service of Yom Kipor as first the Cohen Gadol offers a bullock as a sin offering for himself and his family. Then he can bring a goat as a sin offering to atone for all Yisrael. In the parsha after the explanation of the Levi and Cohen’s duties then laws are given concerning the purity of the camp. As by their duties as said before all Yisrael reach atonement. Next are listed the service of the sin offering, the sotah (test-adultery offering) and the mitzvah of the Nazir. Then are given instructions for the blessing by the Coheniam. The Birkat Kohanim (blessing of the priests) has three verses and each one contains two blessings. Thus there are six general blessings They correspond to the Sefirot from Chesed to Yesod. It has only 60 letters as its written in the Song of Songs “60 mighty men surround the bed of Slomo”. The Birkat Kohanim finishes with: “They shall put My Name on the children of Israel and I shell bless them”. This corresponds to Malchut. This alludes to the blessings which one may receive from Hashem are infinite. So lets look at the 2 mitzvot that precede the blessing of the Coheniam as a source of guidance as preparation so to receive the blessing of Hashem. Concerning the mitzvah sotah (adultery offering). Sotah in the Holy tongue literally means “to go astray, to be demented and foolish”. This is similar to what the Fredica Rebbe said “ A Jew acting in any way other then fulfilling what the Torah asks of him is suffering from a illness”. Rebbe Manachem Mendell tells us that the adulterous women of mitzvah Sotah is representative of the sins of all Yisrael. As Yisrael is the wife to Hashem. Any sin we do Go-d forbid causes exile of the Shechina.
Our parsha Nasso is the parsha of the “Sotah” deals with an unknown, a mystery. That needs to be solved. The process that the sotah goes through is a way of making a secret known. To get a deeper understanding of the mitzvah of “Sotah” lets look to gematria as the letters of Sotah have the same gematria as וחקרת (and search). If we exchange the letters of Sotah in atbash it becomes אבנץ , in the month of אב both Temples were destroyed signifying a time of hardship, as the adulterer finds when she drinks the water. As the Gemora says that as the transgression starts in the thigh and ends in the womb, so does the punishment. Much like Avshalom who was caught up in the beauty of his hair, and took 10 of his father concubines. So he was killed with 10 lances and got caught up in a tree hung up by his hair. אב also means father as Hashem is everywhere even in the most severe corrections. The next 2 letter נץ means to sprout, flower and blossom. The time that the first light of a new day is revealed is called Netz. This all illudes to the blessing from the mitzvah of Sotah if the women did not sin, she being blessed with a Holy child. This all shows us as the Sotah may be displaced from her husband, and can prove herself and return in a moment. So can Yisrael on a ultimate level with the complete redemption. This is alluded to by the fact the Sotah is gematria 714 the same as ושחת (and spilled). This was when Onan spilled his seed refusing to fulfill the mitzvah of raising up seed with his dead brothers wife. From her lineage eventually comes Dovid haMelch, and will come Mashiach. 714 is also the gematria of הקטרת which is called “Holy of Holies”.
As the Sotah represents all transgression, the other mitzvah of our parsha the Nazir alludes to all sanctification as it says “You shall be Holy”. On a lower level the Nazerite vow was taken by people who felt prone toward illicit relations, but ultimately it was a way of ascending to receive spiritual gifts, prophesy. Permuting the letters of נזיר we have יר (to fear) זן (go astray). Fearing to go astray as said before was a reason for the Nazerite vow. Samuel the Prophet was a Nazir, peace unto him, also Shimshon. And all know of the spiritual strength that came through Shimshon’s hair. He was the strongest man who ever lived. The Nazerite vow is voluntary. We must chose to make ourselves holy. The mitzvah of the possible adulterer, is as a warning not to sin. As all sin is as harlotry. Nazir is gematria 267 the same as יראון (to see). The Cohen give the priestly blessing every day in Israel only on Holidays in exile. Get more blessings come home ! May it be that by our sanctification in Holiness and Hashem’s great mercy that we will be able to see visions of Holiness with the arrival of our righteous mashiach quickly in our days.

Shavuot is not just a celebration of a event that happened 3300 years ago in the Sinai desert. Every new Shavuot we recieve a new revelation of the Torah new consciousness in our personal and collective soul. No Shavuot is the same as The God is always revealing new Torah for building the world. On this night Shechinah is crowned by those who participate in shavuot. So She, The Shechinah can join with the King and illuminate the minds of those who took part in bringing about their adornment and unification.
Before our universe began, there was only empty space. Then at one point, a parallel dimension, “bumped into” our universe and injected into it the energy that became the matter that forms all we know.
This though was not the end of the creation of our world.
The Torah that Moshe received at mount Sinai was not of his own design. Every other prophet had a personal revelation from God and then expected the masses to believe him and to accept his word and his religion. The giving of the Torah was radically different. The events at Mt. Sinai were witnessed by over three million human souls, men women, and children. They all experienced together the giving of the Bible (Torah). They all together saw and heard, stood in awe and wonder as something not of this world descended upon the mountain and spoke to them in a voice that sounded like thunder. As its written :
“And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at the lower part of the mount. And Mount Sinai was altogether in smoke, because the Lord descended upon it in fire; and its smoke ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount trembled greatly. And when the voice of the shofar sounded long, and became louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him by a voice.” (Exodus 19)
“And all the people saw the voices,” (Exodus 20)
This is a perception not of our world.

Our Rabbis taught that the Ten Commandments were all spoken in One Syllable. They came from the mouth of the Holy One as one—something so difficult to imagine that no human mouth can utter it, nor any human ear hear it. It is therefore written, “My soul went out at his word” (Song of Songs 5:6) As our souls were unable to remain in our bodies when we heard God’s Voice at Sinai.The sages say not once, but numerous times our souls left our bodies and returned, left our bodies and returned:
Even the nations of the world knew something was up as from the first of the 4 Klipah in the vision of Ezekial, the most external one, Called “Storm wind” The nations experienced Divine sounds as the Torah was being given at mount Sinai. Torah speaks in the language of human beings.”
When it says “A thick cloud was on the mountain.” It is this second “klipa” (Shell that conceals light) that in Ezekial is called “a great cloud.” The third “klippa”in Ezekial, the “Consuming fire” at Sinai is reffered to by “you heard His words from within the fire.” This was the “ sound of the shofar.” From here was heard the sound of the Voice of Hashem. By level of revelation called “Consuming fire” the nations trembled, which is the meaning of “all the nation trembled”. With the next level of revelation there was no “Klipa” (screen), only the more inner “brilliant light,” which Ezekial said called “Chashmal” which carries the “Small still voice”. The inner voice of God in your soul. Hashem spoke to us “face to face” as its written “Face to face God spoke with you on the mountain”,
See clearly from this, that the TORAH was given to Moses by what we must rightly call an Supernatural power-God.
It may be difficult to believe a single prophet who claims to have had a Divine experience. It is possible that such a person is mistaken or self deceived. However when three million people witnessed a “close encounter of the third kind.” That sets the odds highly in their favor that what they collectively saw and heard was real and true. Such a event is hard to deny.
The same Supernatural power continued this revelation to the Biblical prophets who explained to the following generations the observance of these Divine teachings and to how to safeguard them from inadvertently violating a Torah commandment. Thus bringing Divine retribution on their heads. These words of advice have been observed and practiced for more than 2,400 years. The echoes of these events are still murmuring in the unconscious minds of almost every human being. Whether we like it or not, agree with it or not, the echo of the Ten Commandments and Biblical morality speaks into the hearts and souls of almost everybody in this world.
These Divine teachings will stay in force until the next time we are visited by the Power that came to Sinai. This next visitation is expected to bring to Earth more than just a body of instructions to mankind. The next time we make contact, the prophecy states, the Power revealed at Sinai will come with an invading army, one that will conquer the Earth and install a new world government led by a monarch, who will be a descendant of the Biblical King David. When this armada from the Heavens arrives, the Spiritual will welcome it as the coming of the Messiah. The others will most likely be terrified in that their worst nightmare will be coming true –
You need to recognize that the episode at Mt. Sinai was not merely a religious event of ancient history. The Torah is no mere book of religious principles. We made contact with something Supernatural on Sinai those many years ago. That “something” identified itself as the Creator. The Creator opened a channel of communication with mankind and gave us instructions for nearly one thousand years.
At the Big Bang, Torah was the force that was injected into a empty space enabling it to form and grow becoming our universe. At Sinai, Torah was again injected into our physical universe again. Yet, this time, it was not coming into empty space, but rather into already existing world. Therefore, this time, Torah had to come into the universe in a cloaked form; otherwise its mere unsheathed presence would have undone the fabric of space/time itself, enough to shake the very foundations of the Earth. This opening of the Heavens must have been some type of interdimensional vortex that enabled a link between our Earth and another dimension we call Heaven to come into contact. The Big Bang created a world bound by “natural law” from which developed all form and matter. A second “mini” Big Bang happened when the Torah was revealed on Mount Sinai this enabled humans to embrace and connect to the higher dimension and thus learn to live in harmony with it and use its forces to direct the continued development and creation of this world. As God and the Torah are One. Therefore not only is the Torah to be found everywhere in the universe, so too is God. For God’s name in Hebrew, the one used in the creation story is ELOHIM is numerically equivalent to the Hebrew word for nature, HaTeva.. .
Mankind has progressed much since those early days when the Jewish people received the Torah at Mt. Sinai. Most of the world has been influenced by this event. First Christianity and then Islam built themselves on the back of Torah. Each religion claims to be the legitimate heir and continuation of the path received at Sinai. Needless to say, such contradictory claims have led to centuries of conflict. Indeed, the way the 21st century has begun it looks like that a major conflict between Moslem nations and Christian nations is brewing. Moslem nations rally against Israel and the Jews, but Islam defines its greatest and true enemy as the “American great Satan.” The United States and the European Union spend billions of dollars on defense and intelligence to protect themselves from growing threats of Islamic insurgency. Unbeknown to most, Western powers are doing their share to subvert the rule of Islam in Moslem countries. Otherwise, Islamic fundamentalism will sweep through the Middle East on its way to taking over the world.
What the eventual outcome of this brewing conflict will be, time will tell.
The Prophets thousands of years ago spoke of this conflict that we are seeing today. Realize from this that there is indeed a Force and a Power above that which we humans cannot control or even understand, and that force that spoke at Sinai and to the prophets is the Creator God.
Something happened that night on Mt. Sinai those thousands of years ago. Only a few hold the faith of the message revealed that night. The rest of us feel that we have evolved beyond the need of such “myths.” However, what is myth and what is reality, better be defined with greater clarity, before we wish to reject an Authority which apparently can impose itself upon us by sheer force of will as we see displayed in the miracles and wonders of the bible. A Authority that calls itself God the Creator of all. The God at Sinai warned us against our self destructive behaviors. One of the last Prophets Malachi concludes his book with a subtle warning spoken through him By God :
“Remember the Torah of Moshe my servant, which I commanded to him in Horev for all Israel to observe decrees and ordinances. Behold, I send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and awesome Day of God. And he will turn the hearts of the fathers with their children, and the hearts of the children with their fathers, lest I come and strike the land with utter destruction.”
(Malachi 3:22-24).
The warning is clear. Accept the Torah of God and live by it. For the Day of God will come and it will be great and awesome.
The Power that made Supernatural contact with us centuries ago at Sinai will return.
When that Power-GOD comes back, will we find favor in its eyes, or will it use its incredibly superior Power to tear down mankind and civilization and start all over again? When the Supreme Supernatural Power-God comes back to planet Earth to claim its territory and to punish those who have stood against its Torah and its representatives no military weapons will withstand the invading armies of angels led by the Messiah.

Shavuot
Shavuot has more names than any other festival being called “Time of giving of the Torah”, “This very day”, “Day of assembly”, “Day of first fruit” and “Atzeret” (day of Gathering”. Shavuot is compared to the middle bar that holds the Tabernacle together). Shavuot is the “atzeret” of Passach. Shavu’ot” is one of the three pilgrimage festivals, yet it is much less popular than the other Jewish Holidays , even a minor holiday like Hanukah. There is no tractate in the Talmud or Mishnah devoted to Shavu’ot why? With every Holiday the Torah gives the day to celebrate it but by Shavu’ot the Torah only tells us it is seven weeks after “The Shabbot” when the Omer offering is made. The “Shabbot” mentioned here is Not “Shabbot” but the second day of Pesach (Vayikra 23:15). The Torah does not say that the Torah was given on Shavuot. The giving of the Torah has to be one of the most important events in Jewish history. Why doesn’t the Torah say what day the event happened on, why ?This seems obvious that the God did this so the sage could point to the Oral Torah as with out the Oral Torah, Mishnah and Talmud one can not ever clearly discern ever what day Shavuat falls !
It was on Rosh Chodesh Sivan that Yisrael encamped at mount Sinai. The word “encamped” in the Bible is written in the singular form, as Yisrael were all of one heart. Recieving of the Torah is experienced when Yisrael love one another. Sharing a mutual love of brotherhood peace and fellowship. Like in a marriage. The Torah is the instrument of Betrothal between Hashem and Yisrael. Also on Rosh Chodesh Sivan King Asa gathered Yuhudah and Benyamim and those who lived among them to Jerusalem and the entered into a covanant with God with all their hearts and souls. This day has been ordained as a day of peace and unity between a man and his brother and a day for making a covanant of peace and love between Yisrael and their father in Heaven.The day that we stood at Sinai, we were as one man with one heart” (Rashi, Exodus). It is from this place that we must approach Shavuot to receive the Torah.

We learn Ruth on Shavuot as it teaches us the Torah is only acquired through hardship.The story occurs at the beginning of the barley harvest which is at the time of Shavuot. רות is gematria 606 the 7 laws of Noah is 613. The Ben Ish Chai teaches that when Boaz speaks to Ruth, it is as God speaking to the Children of Israel King David who descends from Ruth was born and died on Shavuot. The story of Ruth reminds us that only by the Oral Torah will there be redemption. As the Torah forbids converts from Moab as its written “An Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter into the congregation of the Lord; to their tenth generation shall they not enter into the congregation of the Lord forever.” (Deut 23 :3) We only know that the prohibition on Moab converts only applies to men through the Oral Torah. The Ben Eash Chy tells us not to speak of secular matters the whole night of Shavuot. But this night is for study of the Torah which achieve great results in Heaven and infuses the soul with sanctity and purity. As Rabbi Shimon says “All who learn Torah on this night Hashem blesses with many blessings and crowns in the upper worlds” . Shavuot by the counting of the 49 days preceding it alludes to the Great Shabbot at the end of the cycle of 49,0000 years, it reminds one of the time when “death shall be swallowed up forever”, a time of Eternal ecstasy.

For, even though Bible-Torah just seems like another book, just another area of intellectual study, it is far from that. It is meant for transmitting of “energy”, Divine power. It is a battery for your soul. But Like superheroes with dual identities, whose mundane, common lifestyle is meant to conceal the true nature of the superhero, the physical books and words in which Bible-Torah is found concealing the true nature of Bible-Torah, and what it is capable of doing, and THAT is not something just anyone can access, no matter how many times they pore over even the deepest of Torah secrets. For that, you have to make yourself into a desert. As that is where the Torah was given, teaching us one must be humble not filled with themselves. As such a person they can’t learn and cant hear what others say. They are like a defective battery that will not take a charge. Being humble though does not mean to make one lowly like a rag one would used to wash the floor. It is written that Moses was the most humble of men, but he stood up to do what needed to be done. He would let no man push him around. But he was open to whatever God would tell him.
The Torah is a “Book”, if you can even really define it as that ?, the Torah was written, made by the God.
The Torah is more than a book, but it is the “blueprint” of all creation. Unlike a normal blue print this one has creative power. From it the world is sustained continually and built. One can merit levels very high in the “world to come”which are otherwise inaccessible. By gaining deep understandings concerning the commandments. The commandments have more value. There is no end for a man to apply understanding to the commandments. The Ramban said “ The foundation of all wisdoms stands on who is God.1 Torah is called truth, and faith is the foundation and source of divine service. When reading from the Torah one joins with truth and faith. But this is not automatic. Simply reading the book is not enough one needs to open up their soul to the infinite the Divine Energy of the Torah. Of course if one intends to read the Bible as only a book that is all that it will be, that is all that will be revealed to them. This water goes out through holes in the “mesach” (screen-filter) of ”tzizum” (contraction) to sustain the world From the foundation stone on the temple mount, even if the Temple in Jerusalem is not standing in the physical world. It states ” Spirit of Elokim moves on the face of the waters” (the sages say this “Spirit” is the Messiah). ” The Spirit of Elokim moves on the face of the waters” The magid of Koznitz says the waters referred to here are Torah. The physical world we live in is under constraint of time and space. This is not so of the supernal ark and the Torah. They operate in a timeless realm above physical laws. This is so as ink in Hebrew “דיו” (ink) is the letters that spell out יוד (Yud) of the divine name Yhv’h. As said יוד is the creative inspiration of the Torah. And יוד being Chuchmah (creative wisdom inspiration) that is above space and time.2 The point is that Torah is not really a thing of this world and that is why we said before that the Torah is Like superheroes with dual identities,whose mundane, common lifestyle is meant to conceal the true nature of the superhero, the physical books and words in which Bible-Torah is found concealing the true nature of Bible-Torah. If one only knew what they are looking at and how to look “into the Torah”. The “Written Torah has in it only the “tagin” (crowns of letters) and letters. In the Torah scroll some letters have crowns drawn on top of them, but in the Torah scroll there are no vowels. The letters are the 288 sparks of the vessels that shattered. It is these fallen “sparks” which allow our imperfect world to exist, and for there to be free will and choice. By which a soul can choose to do that which is right there by expressing its love of God and Gaining merit there by. In creating the world God joined letters and sparks together. By the shattering of the vessels sparks fell below. By holy speech one makes permutations of these letters and sparks, thereby making peace between them and raising up the Sparks from their fallen places. Then the sparks can reveal their light from their source above. Making the world more complete, and revealing more of the Light of God here below.3 Through the reading of the Torah with the notes of song (These notes are not written in the Torah scroll, but are know from the Oral Torah) and vowels (The vowels of the Torah’s words are not written in the Torah scroll, but are know from the Oral Torah) These notes and vowels are drawn from the Divine name מ”ה חדש , this brings new Divine energy into the vessels of creation. This purifies the vessels and the sparks. By this fixing there is drawn lights from the ear of A’k (an even higher place) to the letters of the Torah. By this they are fixed,from their shattered state. ו“ה of the name יהו“ה are the letters of the Torah.4 Raise the letters that are fallen by the “tamim” (notes), “nikudot” (vowels), “tagin” (crowns) All letters have their source in the letter א, which is called sweetened.5 The nature of the letters of the Torah is revealed by the fact that when the letters flew off the first tablets of the ten commandments Moshe was no longer able to hold them any longer as they were so heavy, so he had to let them drop and shattered. This was because after the letters had departed from the tablets of stone they were with out “The Divine Spirit” that they had before, so grew heavy and fell.6 In the Torah Scroll itself there are no vowels allowing the Torah to have many meanings, as each generation has a unique “tikun”(fixing) of its own by exchanging the letters.7
The Ar”i teaches that God prepared Eve for her wedding with Adam by adorning her with 24 ornaments. The primordial snake contaminated Eve with 24 types of venom. When we received the Torah at Mt. Sinai, we were purified from the defilement of the snake, the 24 ornaments were restored to us.The 24 ornaments are listed in Isaiah 3:18-24. These 24 ornaments are manifest as the 24 books of the Bible (the 5 books of Moses, the 7 books of the prophets, and the 9 books of the Writings). It is therefore customary to spend the night of Shavuot reading selections of these books by this is restoration of the 24 ornaments of the bride.

All this rises Z’a ( Source of the Ruach- Emotional soul) to Arich (source of revelation of Divine will). There are many themes given in the Torah for Shavuot but “The holiday of Giving of the Torah” is not one of them, While The Torah specifies a date for all other holidays, it never tells us the date of Shavuot! Why ?
The Torah refers to Shavuot as ” Hag Ha-Katzir” (Holiday of “Cutting,” , harvesting) : Exodus23:16. also as “Yom Ha-Bikkurim” (Day of the First Fruits): Numbers 28:26 and simply as “Shavuot” (feast of “ Weeks”): BeMidbar 28:26, Devarim 16:10.
The 50 gates of Divine understanding are the 5 Chassadim (forces of God’s giving) of the ruach (emotional soul). The dikna Kadisha (conduits of Mercy that open up the flow of Divine abundance-they are open by the Names of Mercy) of Arich (divine will) are called Whiteness. To draw this Whiteness of the dikna of Arich to ourselves we dress in White. Revelation of Arich on Shavuot is not done by “delug” (a great leap) as an the seder night of Pessach, but it is in levels grade by grade. The simplest and most effective way of attaching to this new Light is by connecting to all parts of the Bible. So meditate on secrets in each book. So work hard to yield the highest revelation. ! Voronezh public landings in September 1989, which made headlines all over the world. Thousands more saw giant discs hovering over the city’s nuclear power plant. According to the KGB files, in March of the following year, over 100 military UFO observations were reported to the Air Defense Forces, and a 300 foot disc hovering over the headquarters of the Soviet Air Defense Command was reported in April. Also in the KGB files, according to the Hungarian Minister of Defense, George Keleti, a former colonel in the army, UFOs swarmed over Hungary at the same time as the Voronezh landings, and alien craft landed at military air bases all across the country. Keleti claimed that the four-foot robots actually attempted to climb into Hungarian MIGS and they repelled guards with ray guns! Then the ten foot humanoids became invisible when fired upon with machine guns. One of the most bizarre accounts of an alleged UFO landing occurred in Voronezh, Russia. This case was reported in the United States by the St. Louis Dispatch on October 11, 1989, but its origin was the Russian newspaper TASS. The report recounts the adventures of several young children who claimed to have seen three-eyed aliens with a robot escort. The aliens were said to be about ten foot tall. The craft, according to eyewitness testimony, landed on a public park. Shortly thereafter, the tall aliens appeared, and upon seeing a young boy, one of the aliens shot a type of weapon at him, causing him to vanish before the eyes of the other people around him. On September 27, 1989, at about 6:30 pm (18:30 hrs.), in the industrial city of Voronezh, Russia with a population of about 900,000 inhabitants, young school boys were playing soccer in a public park when they witnessed a pinkish glow preceding the descent of an unusual giant red sphere, about 15 meters in diameter, landing right next to them. About 40 adults waiting for a bus at a nearby bus stop also witnessed the landing. A huge crowd quickly gathered and as they peered through a hatch that opened, they observed a burly ten foot tall entity with a small head and “three luminous eyes” filling the hatch, clad in silvery overalls and bronze-colored boots and wearing a disk on its chest. The three luminous eyes were described as having the outer two whitish and the middle one slightly above and reddish. The middle eye was pupil-less and was swiveling as if scanning the terrain. The huge humanoid figure then closed the hatch. The UFO came lower, brushed against a poplar tree, which bent and stayed in that position. While hovering at about one and a half meters, the object extended four supports and landed gently.
The entity and two others like it emerged with a heavy gait, accompanied by something resembling a robot, with push buttons on its chest. One of the entities adjusted something on the robot’s chest, causing it to move in a mechanical way. The aliens were said to have walked around the park, accompanied by the menacing robot, examining the ground and appearing to take soil samples.
The aliens seemed to communicate with each other, and activated the robot with a touch. One entity made sounds which seemed to be orders, and from its chest came a beam of light that delineated on the ground a number of luminous rectangles, about 30 cm x 50 cm. These faded after a short while.
During the incident, one of the boys screamed with fear, but when one of the entities looked at him, the boy instantly fell silent, froze, and was unable to move. The entity’s eyes seemed to be emitting light. Onlookers started crying and screaming by the terror, prompting the UFO, the entities, and the robot to vanished on the spot.
According to the report, about five minutes later, the UFO and the entities reappeared. The alien had an object similar to a pistol – a tube about 20 inches long, which it pointed at an unidentified 16-year-old boy, making him disappear. The alien went back inside the sphere, which then took off. At the same time, the boy reappeared.
The spacecraft left a circular, 20 meters wide depression on the ground, with 4 more minor 15-30 cm wide, 4-25 cm deep holes. Another hole, 25 m wide and 2.7 m deep was found nearby where the humanoids took soil samples. Following some sources, the track featured an intense magnetic field and 2 of the 4 holes there was a much higher amount of gamma radiation.
Several drawings were made by some of the children who supposedly witnessed the events of Voronezh. A couple of these are included here on this page. One of the drawings showed the Cyrillic alphabet character “zhe” on the side of the UFO. TASS listed three witnesses’ names, all of whom were youngsters.
Voronezh residents interviewed later claimed they had observed this UFO not just during the above incident but also many times on September 21, 23, 29 and October 2, between 6 and 9 PM. Some of these incidents involved a different entity described as small, with grayish-green face and blue overcoat resembling a loose raincoat.
Conclusion:
A group of international researchers investigated the claims of the witnesses. They concluded that multiple witnesses independently did come forward, therefore could not be a hoax perpetrated by the Soviet government. The children and other eyewitnesses of the abnormal phenomenon were questioned by police and journalists. There were no discrepancies in the description of the sphere itself or the actions of the aliens. Moreover, all the children who became witnesses to this event are still afraid, even now after all these years.
The Voronezh landing remains one of the unsolved mysteries in the history of ufology.

Researchers at the UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas have determined that some veterans suffering Gulf War Syndrome were exposed to chemicals (e.g. organophosphates, pyridostigmine bromide ) that inhibit cholinesterase, an enzyme important to nervous system utilization of acetylcholine. They have also concluded that those veterans with symptoms of dizziness are suffering from brainstem injury and deliver similar test results as those who are exposed to sarin gas. Studies have shown that sarin exposure impairs acetylcholine process and may “play an important role in neuropathological abnormalities in the central nervous system. (Duke University study. Journal of Toxicology and Environmental Health. Dec. 2000). In the United Kingdom, a farmer accused of murder used as a defense his exposure to organophosphates/and their behavior altering effects. (Independent 1996). The Senate Select Committee on Intelligence of the 94th Congress released documents demonstrating that Mkultra, the CIA’s Behavioral Modification Program, sought curare like substances. Since curare is an antagonist of acetylcholine, it is logical to assume there was an interest in acetylcholine. An interest in acetylcholine would lead researchers to the vagus nerve.
In the sixties and early seventies, there were many Soviet scientific studies, some concerning the regeneration of human vagus nerves, others involving the effects of EMR (1974 Warsaw Conference). It is implausible that our research institutions weren’t also interested in these topics.
