Shvi shel Pasach

The 7th day of Passach teaches us that God has given us potential we could not even imagine like when a cold and impregnable sea bars your path? Don’t give up, anything is possible, the impossible is possible. One just needs to Move forward in truth with Divine faith and when you do, you will see the insurmountable barrier yield and the ominous threat will just fade away. You will see that despite all the “evidence” to the contrary, you have it within your power to reach your goal. But one will only come to realize this if they keep moving forward. One can come to see from Svi shel Pasach that the sky is not the limit. All depends on God as He is the one who gives all abilities. And there is nothing He cannot not do. It is we by separation from Him, who limit ourselves greatly.

When Israel first left Egypt they did not have enough merit themselves to be redeemed. They were redeemed because of the promise God made to Abraham. However, God wanted Israel to be worthy of redemption by their own merit. So after their faith had been strengthened by the three days they traveled under the wings of the Shechinah guarded by the clouds of Glory God tested us to see whether we would choose to give up and  return toward Egypt or trust in God and enter into the Reed Sea.  By this show of faith trusting in God even at risk of drowning showed Yisrael to be worthy in their own merit of being redeemed. Do not forget this lesson, merit to be be redeemed in the final redemption and merit the “Reshimu” of “mochin gadlut 2 ” of seder night that returns to be revealed on Svi shel Pasach !

The secret to the 7th day of Pesach is not the splitting of the “Yam Suf”  (Reed sea) but  On Seder night a conception take place and Shvi  shel pesach is the birth.

Like Seder night there is revelation of Gadlut ב though on the Seventh Day of Pesach is only a “Reshimu” (tracing of it)  Being the 6th Night of the Omer, Yesod of Chesed, the gateway for the expression of kindness in all its manifestations. This festival evening  is different from all others the Arizal said that marital relations are required on this evening, unlike every other festival night.when it is not required. As found in the Sefer Shulhan Aruch of the Ar”i by Yakov Semach. Something also unusual on the 7th day of Pesach we do not say the blessing “shehyanu” as we said before it is nothing new only a “Reshimu” tracing of the “Gadlut” (expanded consiousness) of the “Seder” night. The seventh day of Passover is not a separate Festival in its own right, like Shemini Atzeret, the last day of Sukkot. But it is the conclusion of Passover so we don’t recite the “shehyanu”  blessing after Kiddush or when lighting candles. Even if the seventh day of Passover marks the day when many miracles were performed for our forefathers at the Reed Sea.

The Lubavitcher Rebbe (z’l) teaches that Until “Israel saw the Egyptians dead on the seashore,” they remained in dread of Egypt’s military might; some were even prepared to submit to slavery again rather than risk death After the Splitting of the Sea, however, all fear of danger ended and they experienced true freedom.

In the Zohar  R. Shimon teaches that  when Israel stood by the banks of the sea and sang, God and His Heavenly community appeared to them and they recognized  their King Who had performed all of the miracles for them. Each and every one of the people understood and saw that which the world’s prophets had never seen or understood. As testimony of this, At the Sea all Yisrael sang together the same words at the same time, the “Song of the sea” a song none of them had heard before, but they all sang it together.. Even the unborn in their mothers’ wombs sang this song together, seeing a manifestation of God’s Presence that even Ezekial the Prophet never saw.. When they concluded their song, the people’s souls were enraptured and longed to see even more. So overwhelmed were they that they refused to leave. At that time Moses said to God: “Your children, in their great desire to see Your light, do not want to leave the sea.” What did God do? He concealed His glory and He was both apparent and unapparent. Moses urged Israel to leave a number of times but they were still unwilling, for they were still enraptured by God’s indirect appearance. It was only when they understood that His glory was in the wilderness, that Moses was able to lead them, as the verse (Exodus 15:22) states: And Moses led them from the Red Sea… and they went into the wilderness of Shur. Why is it referred to as the wilderness of Shur? It was a wilderness where they sought to see the glory of their great King, for the Hebrew word “Shur” connotes seeing.

“He turned the sea into dry land.” The material world hides the Godliness within it. Like waters cover over whatever under the sea. Selfish material existence conceals the Godly life-force which maintains your existence. Transform the sea into dry land see what is under the surface perceive God’s  involvement in our physical world. Recognize God’s constant presence and influence in your life. His Torah is the  means of establishing a connection with Him. Transform the sea into dry land and see The God is right there just under the surface of all that’s happening all around us all the time. One just needs to be able to see a little deeper. The sense of God’s presence becomes more evident as one’s commitment to the Torah and its mitzvot Grows

Moses worked with 72 three letter Divine names at the Red sea and the sea parted then the Children of Israel walk on dry land in the midst of the sea !

Avraham Abulafia teaches that if your heart runs return it to it’s place, by this is cut a covanant. By this way there is recieved 72 names.1 This is the unification of right and left. The Ar’i explains it this way in Shar Mimori Rasb’i Supernal angels at midnight rise up to the upper supernal angels, and enter the ”penimi” (internal) aspect of holiness of bina (Divine understanding) and intellect. “Penimi” of the sefirot is portions of the “Nashama” (Soul of Divine intellect). Opposite this is the “chitzon” (external energy) this corresponds to the physical body and Angels. Midnight is the spirit of all spirits. The Nashama is able to rise above with zu’n (source of Animal and emotional soul) through self sacrifice in ” kidush” Hashem (Sanctifying Gods name). By this one draws the vessel from imma (source of Soul of Divine intellect) of his Nashama. This is from the 216 letters of the 72 names. This is the vessel made at midnight.2 ”.

The 32 paths are from the Yesod (foundation-gateway of energy) of nature. They make 248 limbs (bones in the body). They are the secret of רי”ו (216) with 32 equals 248.3 The surrounding fire on Sinai was chasmal (source of revelation of voice of God). Chasmal is given to deliver these inside, from those not proper. In Chashmal are 4 punishments for the wicked from the 4 letters of אדנ”י . One who is proper comes close by the ד of אדנ”י, others rise in the נ. 216 letters of Givurah (severity) burns in fire to push away those not proper.4 72 colors are 70 of the sanhedrin with Moshe and Aharon. These illude to 7 sefirot each including 10. Moshe and Aharon illude to their source being the secret of 9 tikuney dikna (conduits of Divine will and Mercy). 7 include 10 and 2 are the source of all.5

60 is awakening of the first masiach (Messiah). In 6 more is the awakening of the 2nd. This leaves 6 more years until 72 (it is now 5769, or maybe its 72 years since the birth of the state of Isreal). At that time the redemption will take place.

According to the Zohar on page 119a of Vayera: The redemption of Israel will come about through the mystic force of the letter vav (in Hashem’s name), namely in the 6th millennium, and more precisely, after 6 seconds and half the time that remains. This is the Zohar’s way of saying the 666th year of the 6th millennium, 6 ½ months into the year. This of course is the first day of Pesach which is 6 ½ months after Rosh Hashana. 6 ½ days later is the seventh day of Pesach.

The year 5666 was 2/3 of the way through the 6th millennium, from that point onward Mashiach can be coming at any time. So the Rebbe Rashab instituted four cups of wine at the meal for Mashiach as part of the third meal for the afternoon of the last day of Pesach.

There will be 4 redemptions corresponding to the 4 “Chayot” (angels).6

Nachshon ben Aminadav, the Nasi (leader) of the Tribe of Yehudah, jumped into the Reed Sea, followed by his tribe and then by the entire nation of Israel. They entered the sea till their nostrils. Only then did the sea split. It takes self-sacrifice to make “it” happen.  One needs to decide that no matter what the obstacle their resolve will not be shaken. This is the kind of dedication that brings one to the ultimate freedom of God and the Torah. It needs to be one’s life, that’s the only reason one would be willing to give their life for it  IT IS A LOVE AS THIS THAT WILL BRING REDEMPTION !

Got this video the other day

July, 6    2014                                                       UPDATED

Rabbi Eleazer said, in the future the children of Yishmoyel will measure out the land of Israel. They will change a cemetery to a resting place of sheep and a dunghill. He will hew down the rock of the kingdom, and rebuild the desolated cities and sweep the ways. They will plant gardens and parks and fence in the broken walls of the Temple. They will build a building in the Holy place. Two brothers will arise over them, princes in the end, and in these days the branch of David will arise. Three wars of trouble will the sons of Yishmoyel fight in the latter days. One will be in the forests of Arabia, another on the sea, and one in the great city of Rome. This war will be more grievous than the other two. From there The Messiah of the house of David will flourish and see the destruction of these and those. Then he will come to the land of Israel as it says,” Who is this that comes from Edom with dyed garments of Bazrah ” (63:1)1.

The Zohar says concerning this verse that it describes what is equivalent to the killing of the first born in Egypt. Hashem will come from Bazrah. Just like the world’s hosts went to war against Yerushalym from Bazrah (1st Temple). The children of Edom threw down the walls of the (2nd) Temple. Hashem will put on robes of Vengeance to punish Edom. The mountains will be filled with the dead of the nations. 2 In Pesicta, Rabbi Brachyah tells us this verse refers to the fate of Edom’s (Rome’s) heavenly counterpart, God will one day put on garments of vengeance to chastise Edom for having destroyed his house and burnt his temple and driven the community of Israel into the exile of the nations. Beasts shall feed on the bodies of the slain of the nations on the mountains of Israel for twelve months, and the birds shall feed for seven years.3

” Who is this that comes from Edom with dyed garments of Bazrah ”

The sages say this verse brings the conclusion of the war of Gog and Magog and the coming of Mashiach.

As at this time almost all of Iraq has been taken over by the Islamics calling them self IS (the Islamic State) (NOT IS REAL), except Bagdad. If Bagdad falls Hundreds of American military brass will be killed by the hands of Islamic militants. And america will lose controll of their vested oil interest in Iraq.

The US will not let this happen , this situation may invoke the verse ,” Who is this that comes from Edom with dyed garments of Bazrah “

Botzra is the main oil port of Iraq

Rabbi Yitzhak said: The year that moshiach will be revealed, all the kings of the nations of the world will provoke each other. The king of Persia [ today called “Iran” ] will threaten the king of Arabia [ today called “Saudi Arabia” ] and because of this, the king of Arabia will go to the king of Edom [ USA ] for advice.

Afterwards the king of Persia will destroy [ most of ] the world. The remaining nations will be hysterical and frantic and fall on their faces and will be seized as if by “birth pains”.

And the people of Israel will be frantic and hysterical and they will say, where will we come and go? Where will be come and go?

And Hashem will say to them: Do not fear My children, do not fear. All that I have done, I did only for you. Why are you afraid? The time for your Redemption has come!

Rabbi Yitzhak said [ about 2000 years ago ]:

The year that moshiach will be revealed [ what is expected to happen in the world at the time when moshiach will be revealed ], all the kings of the nations of the world will provoke each other [ the threats of war among the nations will be heard in every corner of the world throughout the countries and between one another ].

[ The numbers in parenthesis refer to further explanations found in the Hebrew ]

PHASE 1 (2) King of Persia [ Leader of Iran ] (4) will threaten (3) the King of Arabia [ threats of war against the king of Saudi Arabia ( which is the only Arab country which still has the name “Arabia” ).

PHASE 2 (5) The king of Arabia goes to Edom to get advice from them [ The king of Saudi Arabia goes to the Western countries, which are led by America, to consult about how to act against the threat of war from Iran ].

PHASE 3 “And King of Persia goes back (6) and destroys the whole world [ it is clear that you cannot destroy the whole world with conventional weapons. It means to annihilate much of the world with nuclear weapons ]. [ “and destroys the whole world”– the meaning isn’t actually the whole world, the meaning is “most of it, is as all of it”, meaning to destroy most of the countries of the world ”.

And all the nations of the world will be frantic and hysterical and “falling on their faces” and will be as if seized by (7) something like birth pains [ a terrible and horrified fear that was unknown until now will grasp all the remaining nations – lest they too will die in a nuclear war ( because they will be unable to protect themselves from the nuclear explosion and the radioactivity that will result ) ].

And the people of Israel will be frantic and hysterical [ because of the terrible fear that will be in the world that Iran (Persia) will also attack Israel ]. And they will say, where will we come and go [ since there will be no possibility to find help or support and there will be no natural way to be saved – and about this situation it is said “we have no one to rely on except our Father in Heaven” ] and they will say: “Where will be come and go?” [ The Midrash repeats this twice to emphasize the helplessness and fear that will be then ].

And GOD will say to the people of Israel: do not fear my children [ you have nothing to fear , all that I have done, I did only for you GOD calms Israel, that all the destruction of war was only for your good – to destroy the wicked Kingdom of Edom and to remove evil from the world and make it possible for the moshiach (Messiah) to be revealed and begin his work ]. Why are you afraid? “The time for your Redemption has come!”

In order that one should not think these words of the Midrash are incompatible with the reality of our days, it is important to clarify what often appears in the media regarding the “King of Persia” ( President of Iran ) and about their “mahdi”, their messiah. To them, their mahdi can only begin his work of world domination for Islam when the muslims set the world on fire via war.

The current president of Iran since his election has declared several times in public, that the main purpose of his government is to promote the arrival of the “mahdi”, and for this purpose all military and economical resources will be given. He also said in the UN General Assembly (September 25, 2007) that very soon the powerful Western countries will fall and be destroyed. Daily he goes to the well where their mahdi is supposed to emerge from, to conquer the world. There is drops in the minutes of his days activities for their mahdi to read.

According to his belief and the belief of the radical cult that he is part of, the way to bring “the mahdi” ( the shiite “messiah” who is supposedly, according to their distorted beliefs, going to impose the region of Islam on the whole world ) is by creating a situation of chaos with local and international destruction. That is why the President of Iran says they must ignite a local war and then destroy the Western world ( which in his opinion is the root of all evil, thus they call the USA their “great satan”, and Israel is to them only their “little satan” ) using nuclear bombs.

This threat isn’t just an ideology or idle talk. Iran has nuclear weapons programs, and long range missile programs for delivery of same, including a newly discovered site which crosses all red lines, see http://www.wnd.com/2013/03/iran-confirms-secret-nuclear-quds-site/ and even members of the US congress are now concerned, see http://www.israpundit.com/archives/53731

As it is known today, the government of Iran is made up only of people of this cult who believe in their “mahdi” ideology. Whoever doubts this is dismissed from the government ( as was the commander of the Iranian revolutionary guards; he was removed from his position and replaced by someone supposedly loyal to the President of Iran’s mahdi / world war plans. ). And let us not forget that for true muslims to lie to their infidels = everyone else / everyone not muslim, its a permitted thing, to them = the ends justifies the means = wild ass of a man.

An interesting item that appears in the media: astrologist’s see something amazing: very soon the Western world will be destroyed by Iran by nuclear weapons ( this corresponds to the words of the Midrash above ). To differentiate, lately there have been a few tzadikim in our generation who also say that soon there will be a nuclear war outside of Israel, and in Eretz Israel will be the “selection” that was foretold in the prophesy of Zecharia (13:8) and Isaiah 6 ( “v’od ba assirya etc” – see gamara ketubot 112b ) by an earthquake, terrifying in its power, unlike anything known in the past.

In view of all this, it is clear that the words of this Midrash: “and the King of Persia returns and destroys the whole world” should be taken seriously and in light of ongoing world events, it is possible that this will actually happen in the time ahead.

There is also another striking event related to this in the words of our Torah Sages of 2000 years ago ( in Yalkut Shimoni ) “Rabbi Barchiya said: in three hours in the future HaKadosh Baruch Hu will punish Esav and his men.” Thus our Torah Scholars tell us here that the destruction of the evil Kingdom of Edom will be accomplished “in three hours”.

It is very possible that a nuclear war, as mentioned above, could last only 3 hours and in that time, the evil Kingdom of Edom could be destroyed. It is known from our sages [ Malbim, Abarbanel etc. ] that today Esav is America, the countries of Europe and the West.

NOTE: When the Midrash says “and destroys the world”, it doesn’t mean “the whole world, literally”; it means according to the Talmudic axiom “most of it is considered as all of it”. One can understand the words of the Midrash from the prophesy of Zecharia (13:8) “and there was throughout Land the words of Hashem”, “two parts [ of the world ] will be cut off and destroyed and a third of it will remain”, which means two thirds of the population of the world will die. Only a third will be left.

All this is regarding the nations of the world as it says in the commentaries there. However, concerning Am Israel, G-d forbid, the situation could be even worse if we don’t do tshuva, as it is written in the gemara ( ketubot 112b ). Rashi explains there “when nine parts ( of Am Israel ) will be lost and nothing will be left but a tenth”. Meaning that in the selection process that will take place before the arrival of the moshiach, 90 % of Am Israel will die , G-d forbid , if they don’t do real repentance  and only a tenth will survive.

We can see that we are very likely right before a third World War, the like of which has not been known in the past, which will start because of Iran. As we saw clearly the Prophets and Torah scholars of Israel predicted this thousands of years ago. According to their words as we explained above, the war will develop in 3 stages, one after the other:

Phase 1 – Iran threatens and provokes the king of Saudi Arabia.

Phase 2 – The king of Saudi Arabia goes to the countries of the West [ lead by America ] to get advice how to protect themselves.

Phase 3 – Iran opens a nuclear war and destroys the Western world.

( It is possible between these phases there will be only a few hours )

Now everyone has an opportunity and can choose the direction in which he / she is headed and decide where his / her loyalties stand. He / she can choose between the good and the bad, between life and death. He / she can choose between complete loyalty to the Creator of the World and abandoning himself / herself to the dangers of death, G-d forbid ( if he / she continues to act according to his / her desires and follow the vanities of this world ).

Whoever wants to save himself / herself and family, the path they can take to be saved God willing: to accept upon themselves real repentance.  repentance of the heart, and make a true accounting as they have never done before, on all their deeds until now (as many as they can remember) and then:

1. Regret every sin that he / she did against the will of God and every positive command he / she avoided doing, .

2. Confess all to God with as much tears, sorrow and regret as possible.

3. Accept upon himself / herself that he / she will be faithful to the Creator, will “go in all His ways”, with all his heart and not go back to his / her evil ways – see parsha Eikev, Deuteronomy 10: 12-13.

4. Of course, if one fails and falls again, then he / she must immediately get up and start anew, and he will be saved God willing, and merit to greet moshiach at the most opportune moment, Amen.

My thanks and appreciation to those who helped in the preparation of this

Pessach is Pretty important if we spell it out as

פה סמך חת=613 (all the commandments). The sages say Passach is a time for searching for a persons defects, like the way each person must search their house for “chumatz” (leaven). God illuminates our Nashama (Soul) so that we may see ourselves clearer. Like the way we use a candle to search for “Chumatz”, and a candle represents the “Nashama”. As it says “ the candle of God is the Nashama of man”. It states in the Zohar that from Rosh chodesh (New moon) of the month of Nisson there is an increase in “Bina” (Divine Understanding). With this power we can search within ourselves and see what it is that is causing our exile from GOD, Divine revelation. So that we may return to GOD completely. ”Chumatz” is not nullified like most things even when there is less than 1 part to 60. Any “chumatz” (which is arrogance) cannot be tolerated. How could one be arrogant if they really knew they were standing before GOD ?. An arrogant person performing religious acts is only a “charade”. They have not even begun the kind of Divine service that leads to ”ruach haKodesh”, and redemption. One must be completely dedicated to GOD not themselves. The Temple offering for Passach the “corbon Pessach”, May we bring it quickly, is roasted whole, including the head and tail. This shows that returning to GOD, Leaving our personal and National exile requires returning to GOD from all aspects of our existence. One must dedicate all aspects of their life to GOD, Blessed is his Name ! Every individual goes through his personal exile, and must separate from those things that bind him from coming close to GOD. Those things which are strange and not part of his divine service. We must do this in all aspects of our life, thus removing ourselves from our personal Egypt (which means confinement), by this fulfilling in part the commandment of remembering the redemption from Egypt. It is stated in the Zohar that “The remembrance of being taken out of Egypt with great miracles is the gateway to divine power, a root of the whole Torah, the basis of all the commandments and the real “emuna” (faith) of the Jewish Soul”. Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochi says “ this is our season of joy and gladness when we celebrate the great honor GOD showed to us by taking us out from under the power of impurity into the power of his Holiness.” It is the day as R. Abba says “ GOD took Yisrael from being under the power of impurity to be united with his name, causing them to be raised up above all the upper and lower beings”. The Sni Luchot ha brit teaches that the day the angels visited Avraham before the destruction of Sidom and visited lot in Sidom was Passach.

The sages tell us one reason for the exile of Yisrael in Egypt was because when GOD told Avraham Avinu that he would give his decedents the land of Canaan as an eternal inheritance Avraham misused his power of speech when he replied “ How will I Know ”. Because of this lack of faith we went down to the refining furnace called Egypt. Now on Pessach we have the power to redeem the power of speech from exile. We do this by with great joy and excitement and a high heart telling the story of the redemption from Egypt, till the point G-d willing they remember. The Zohar says one who does this will rejoice with the Shechinah in the world to come for rejoicing brings rejoicing. The Oar Ha Chayim teaches that we bring redemption closer discussing Holy matters celebrating the redemption of speech. By remembering the great love GOD showed to us in redeeming us from Egypt we can draw strength to know he has given us strength to overcome all obstacles yielding the power of redemption !

In the Torah Billam the Rusha states “ GOD brings them out of Egypt”, In Sefer Oar Ha Chyim it is explained that this is written in an active sense since it is on Passach that sparks of Holiness are freed from impurity. The 7 days of Passach parallel the 7 days of creation. What we strive for creatively, intellectually, emotionally and physically can cause great changes in the continual of process of the renewal of all life including ourselves from this time period Passach is a time of profound personal spiritual redemption, as it says in Toldot Yaacov Yosef that on Passach “ A man merits access to the eternal wellsprings of life”.

One part of doing this is by the 4 cups of wine at the sedar, by this we rectify the sin of Adam as the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil was a grape. By drinking the 4 cups of wine we can remove the separation created by the sin of Adam, each cup has potential to remove aspects of the 4 “Klipot” that separate us from GOD ! Thus removing our desires for actions not supportive or against divine will, feelings of our heart that are not the love of GOD, thoughts that are not good, and barriers to divine inspiration. The wine of Pesach is a Tikun by Imma. We learn in Pre Atz Chyim by drinking the 4 cups wine there decends “mochin” down the throat to the head of Rachel. Matzah is a tikun by Abba.

Matzah seems to be only a little water and flour, but the Zohar tells us it is the bread of Faith, only on passach GOD gives it the power to be a gateway for “emunah”. If we add the letter “ו” to מצה (matzah) we have מצוה (mitzvah). The letter ו of the Divine name reveals our Ruach, our emotional soul, when one involves their heart in Divine service how great this is. Matza has a lot of potential to nullify evil סמא”ל (the Devil) + 4 letters = מצה . Rabbi Ashlag expains in the Hakdamah to Tikunim concerning this that this added letter ו gives “chassadim” to the Malchut, by this the Chuchmah in it illuminates. It is similar to the Manna in the desert some had more some less, but all had the measure of an omer. To some its taste was bland to others it tasted as what ever they desired. The Ari teaches in Shar pasukim that “Smura Matzah” is Machut of Bina, which is the ד of אחד . Think about this deeply as it touches on many things.

We can turn the “bread of affliction” to the “bread of redemption” ! Matzah in Atbash system of letter exchange becomes יה”צ. From the name י”ה comes Divine wisdom, While צ is the vessel for this wisdom. One fit to receive it. צ represent the “Sadeek”. It states in the Gemora a child does not have wisdom till he has tasted Wheat. Yet this type of wisdom from Matzah is very high. As the Mittler Rebbe said “ The Aor Makiff (surrounding light) of Chuchmah is Emunah”. The matzah also works to complete our dat as Taught by Rabbi Natan of Bresslov. The 3 matzot correspond to Chaba’d of Dat, also to Myriam’s well, the Cloud that surrounded Yisrael in the desert and the Manna. By eating Matzah we are able to remove the delusions of this world from our brains, and the scream out to GOD with words like ”thunder” when reading the Hagada. .

הגדה של פסח + 1= מלכות, Through the “Hagada” we can reveal GOD’s Kingship which ultimately is Mashiach. This is also reflected by spelling out each letter of הגדה as ה”ה דל”ת גימ”ל ה”י=ישראל +1.

Passach itself ( פסח ) by Atbash becomes וחס meaning “and having mercy”. This shows us that on Passach we draw down the power to Divine mercy. As it was by this Divine mercy that we were freed from Egypt w hen we had reached the lowest level of defilement. GOD told Avraham that our exile of Egypt would be 400 years, but GOD in his great mercy he took us out in only 210 years. ”Choroset” חרוסת permeates to חס רות, mercy of Ruth. This illudes To David HaMelach and the final redemption.

Passach is called “the time of our freedom”, it was from Passach that we went from the lowest depths of enslavement and spiritual depravity to the highest spiritual states at the sea, and then stood before GOD and received the Torah. The word Passach means to Jump. The spiritual growth of Passach is not a gradual thing, but made in leaps and jumps. It is said that rejoicing over the redemption from Egypt leads to further redemption.

Eliyahu Ha Novi is know to be at 2 places. At every circumcision, as he is called in the Holy books “Angel of the Covenant”. It was before eating the Corban Passach that Moshe or some say Yuhoshua circumcised Yisrael so they could eat of the Corban Passach, then came redemption ! Eliyahu (Elijah) is also invited to the Passach Sader. We even set out a cup of wine for him in every home. Then when we open the door for Eliyahu towards the conclusion of the Seder, after all the previous preparations we say “ Pour out your wrath ….. Pursue them in anger” . May it be in the merit of the Sadeekem in the Gan Aden and now on the Earth that GOD has great mercy upon us so that we will see the prophesy of the Prophet Malachi fulfilled with Eliyahu coming to us turning the hearts of children to their parents and parents to their children with the coming of our righteous Mashiach quickly in our days !

The Rebbi of Karlin said ”Great is a man of Yisrael in the way He is formed, allowing Him to be a son of the King ”. It is of this quality the Torah is speaking of when it speaks of freedom. It was for this quality that we merited being redeemed from Egypt. This Holiness obligates us to be careful not to transgress the border between freedom and a state of lawless abandonment of any constant real values of virtue. Behavior which would bring shame to our father the King of His Holy nation Yisrael and all creation. The freedom we are talking about places upon us borders upon our behavior, giving us more obligations which come upon such a man from God because of the heights of His level in the scheme of creation. Because of this a free man must be careful with matters involving his Honor. But lawless abandon of Godly virtue is of man at a lowly level. In this is a aspect of slavery. As a slave’s disgracefulness adds to him losing restraint and control. As he just really doesn’t care. Such a man will do all that arises of his emotions, he loses control over himself. He goes from the realm of intellect that is upright, transgressing going after his desires. We see this in lowly people, they do their evil desires. The true image of man parishes from them. Leaving them with an image as any human being, when His true nature is beyond this. As his soul has heard the voice of God speaking at Sinai and has experienced the wonders God has done for the Hebrew people. In the beginning he believes in his own eyes that his actions are his desires, but in the end he is only a slave to his evil inclination.

If we look at Yaakov’s blessing from Yizchak we can see how something lowly can be something great as Yitzchak said ”Your seed shall be as the sand of the earth, you shall spread to the north, east , south and west.” During the times we live in now it seems that many of the Jewish people have fell to a low spiritual place. Many of our people now are as low as the sand of the earth (being immersed only in physical matters, with no spiritual awareness), sitting among the nations in exile. But as the great Rabbi Hillel said ”My falling is my rising”. The seemingly lowly state we are in now is only a necessary step. As was the captivity in Egypt, to bring about redemption. As by the lowliness created by a lack of spirituality, they can appreciate it once it is truly found.

The Ruach (spirit) of Yisrael is the internal aspect of His Nefesh (animal soul), its instinctual awareness known as leah. It is only this that can free him from from the slavery of his evil inclination ruling upon all his limbs. Which has become his master. The source the true Ruach (spirit) of Yisrael is in the many mitzvot, Positive commands and prohibitions. For this reason one is required to do many mitzvot to establish His freedom. Only in this way is there true freedom of the Nefesh (animal soul). But to one who does not know this they, God forbid, think that all the mitzvot remove all joy from life. When it is exactly the opposite. One who has never tasted the true atmosphere of people observing God’s Holidays will never understand this. For this reason it says concerning the Passover offering ”No stranger may eat from it”. Better is the verse ”taste and see that yhv”h is good”, with the coming of our righteous mashiach quickly in our days.

The Passover offering is on the anniversary of the original redemption, it is also the date the future redemption shall occur ! It is strange the “Motzi Matza” is made on a broken piece of Matza and in “yachatz” when the Matza is broken to two pieces nothing is said or on “Zphon” when it (the Afikomen) is eaten !

It is something  peculiar that in the Hagada there is no direct mention of the MESSIAH or the future REDEMPTION.

Also know that during these 7 weeks until the time of receiving the Torah anew on Shavuot God gives us a special gift each week, each day for the betterment of our souls by allowing us to develop our soul powers of doing kindness during the first week, the 2nd week discipline, the 3rd week harmony and balance, the 4th week endurance so to be able to obtain any goal, 5th week perfecting minor details involved in all we do, 6th week making the greatest perfection of any circumstance, and in the 7th and final week having the kingship of God revealed in all our thoughts speech and actions. This is called ”counting of the omer ”. From all of this God willing we shall be ready to receive the Torah.

Parsha Tsav

The Parsha talks all about sacrifice.

During times when sacrifices were offered sin never clung to Yisrael as these offerings made atonement for them.1 Rabbi Yose teaches concerning the twelve properties of the Torah that inequity can be purged even without sacrifices of flesh but with words of Torah. Even if punishment is already decreed against one, it can be annulled. Words of Torah can purify those who are unclean. He who studies Torah is first purified and then sanctified. 2 Now Torah is from Z’a (Source of Ruach-Emotional Soul), but with complete self sacrifice one can taste the Torah of the future. This is the Torah of “Atik” (The ancient of Days source of Delight) or “aor ganuz” (hidden light). This is acquired by one who never prays for his personal benefit, it is as if he is not part of this world.3 Fire is Binna (Divine Understanding). The Torah is spice against the “Yetzer Hora” (evil inclination). Through being occupied in Torah, which is called Bina. Bina is the source of Givurot. “Dinim” (judgments) are only sweetened in their source being in the Torah. This is by including the left in the right, making טוב (good). This is as Avraham’s sacrifice at “batara”. Which is the future slaughtering of the “Yetzer Hora”. Separating it from us. By cleaving oneself in the light of the Eyn Sof that flows from the letters of the Torah. There goes in judgments to their source. They are corrected in their source in the Torah.4 Malchut of Atzilut is called fire. Fire is Atzilut. But since we are in “galut” this fire does not have to power to burn up the “sitra achra” (other side). It is only strong enough to guard “kidusha” (holiness). It is in Rachamim (Mercy) that we are able to stand in this fire of Holiness. In the future it will be this fire which will destroy the wicked, and it is this fire that will build the 3rd Temple. This fire is the כבוד (Glory) of the Shechinah, by it we are sustained. It is יאהדונה”י. When this light stands on ones head all lights shine on it. יאהדונה”י makes all אחד (one). The “ו “ in the middle is the hand of God, which is between 2 “ י “ . By “yichud” the Shechina (Divine Presence) rises to the Ayn Soff (infinateness) and decends to את .5

Like a sacrifice, Torah is offered as a gift to God. He is at his own table.6 The sages teach in the Talmud that at one time, the sacrificial altar atoned for Israel. Now one’s table, through the spiritual elevation of his food, accomplishes it.7 We learn from Rabbenu Bachyah that once a person confesses his sins to God, no angel is permitted to harm him. Confession atones for the wicked; once they accept the judgment, they merit life in Olam HaBa. The words of confession stand in the place of sacrifice. Thus, to avoid grievous Judgment one must confess even for inadvertent sins, as these require a guilt offering. Many have been saved from death by confession. 8 The main greatness of the Divine Name is through wealth. All this is decided by the כסא (thrown) and משפט (judgment). Dont take benefit of a mitzvah before it is complete (dont create a incomplete mitzvah or lacking compared to what you are capable of). This is as if a Cohen were to eat from a sacrifice before he had completed his required Divine service with it. Do the mitzvoth (commandment-attachment) in a way of כבוד (honor) due to the Holy king. Don’t enter into doing the Mitzvot in a light headed way. By comprehension of the mitzvot one comes to be careful with their fulfillment as then they understand that the mitzvot involve Holiness. Then they will do them with all their power, cherishing and guarding their kidusha. But if one enters to fulfill mitzvot with arrogance or not in a serious way they will not comprehend in truth “hashgacha” (divine providence), or see the way of the Mitzvot.9

Divine Names can really only be understood according to the mystical part of Torah, Kabalah. The Names operate Hanhagah (Divine Ruling-providence) over the physical and spiritual worlds. In  Midrash Raba it says that when Moses asked God: “What is Your Name?” he was told: “I have many Names, and I am called according to My actions”.

Please note that it’s forbidden to pronounce any of these names except during prayer and Torah study, and the Main Name YHV”H is not pronounced at all in this world at this time, as this level of providence for the most part is concealed so the name is not pronounced, and to do so would thus be false as it not revealed thus the air of the world at this time is not fit for this name, so beware.:

The name אדני is a chariot to the name יהוה and is wrapped within it. In the same way, יהוה is wrapped within (the name) אהיה to create the world. However, the name יהוה. There are sefirot that are called by the name יהו”ה and other sefirot called by אדנ”י , and through those of אדנ”י we were created. He who learns “Havayot”, needs to learn them in order to build a building for Hashem, he needs to build though prayer. (Zohar Tikunim)

The Name Eloheme expands until gods of the otherside issue from it. The Name Eloheme expands to 120 permutations in the realm of holiness. Anger causes the Name יהוה (Havayah) to be dissociated from the Name אלהי”ם  (Elokim), the remedy is to join them together again.

The י from the name אדני is lower Chochmah which is fear of God, it is his “Malchut” (Rulership)

Unite this Name יהוה of  numerical value  ס”ג 63 with the Name Elokim.

Also the Name Havayah vocalized with the vowels of the Name Elokim

Meditate on the Name יהוה of  numerical value ע”ב  72 intend to unite this Name with the Name אהיה (Ehyeh).

The name אדנ”י is a chariot to the name יהוה and is wrapped within it. In the same way, יהוה is wrapped within the name אהיה to create the world. However, the name יהוה is a chariot to its Master, to the supernal Keter (Crown). Of the name יהוה the י is the Chochmah, ה is the Binah, ו includes six sefirot, ה is the Malchut, and this is the flow from above to below. Also His light flows from the י of אדנ”י from below to above until the Ein Sof which is hinted to in the letters אין from the name אדנ”י . Master of Everything does not have a form of a letter or a vowel point. As it is written, “Who will you liken me to that I should be his equal” (Isa. 40:25), and “Who will you compare to God, and what form will you compare to Him” (ibid. 40:18). (Tikunim)

Unite the name יהוה  whose numerical value is מ”ה 45 with the Name אדני  Adni.

The surrounding light is by the Name  אהיה T he sefirot of the world of Beriah. are permutations of the Names אהיה and   יהוה

The four letters of the Divine name, יהוה blessed is He, Their pronunciations and combinations are constantly changing all the time in every moment. He renews them constantly according to his will. These ever changing confluences are the result of the 1080 combinations of the Divine Name. He renews them constantly according to his will. Know that all that happens above in the upper worlds and here below, flows according to your deeds. So the God says : “The Rock Who begat you, you weaken” This is when Yisrael doesn’t do the will of The Hashem it’s then said of them that they weaken the strength of above. Its also written of Yisrael when they do what God asks (Devorim 32,18) “Give might to Elokim” this is by your “mitzvot”.

י which is one daughter, is under the ה of the name אלהים ,the letter י from the name אדנ”י, and the letter י from the name שד”י includes all the “cenoyim” (appellations), and all the הויות, like the name

הוהי or others like it. The letter י should be under the letter ה in every name that the “cenoyim” (appellations) or Havaya that is feminine.

אהיה is the gematria 21= יהו The letter ו includes the six sides, through them the six sides are sealed. They are: יהו הוי והי ויה היו יוה. The name יהו takes from the right side which is Chesed, and seals through it the Chuchmah and from it, “He who wants to become wise leans to the south. (Page 15B) The name הוי takes from the left side which is Gevurah, and there is sealed riches, from it comes “He who wants to become rich leans to the north”. The name והי faces the east, and it takes the middle pillar, and through it is sealed children. The name ויה is takes the right leg, and it looks upwards, and through it is sealed life. The name היו is takes the left leg, and it looks downwards, and through it is sealed food. Look upwards towards the Chochmah, and tie it to the right leg, and seal there life, because about Chochmah it says “the wisdom gives life to it’s owner” (Ecc. 7:12). Look upwards towards the upper Mother, and tie it to the left leg, and seal through it sustenance. The name יוה faces towards the west through the tzadik, who is the Eiruv621, because there all the soldiers are mixed. And it includes the eighteen letters which are: יהו הוי והי ויה היו יוה. these are the 18 that through them are called the eighteen worlds, and the tzadik through them is called the חי (life) (18) of the worlds.

All these יהוה originate from the supernal Mother, which is חיים (life), and the tzadik is named after her חי (life). The חיות Chayot (living angels) of the chariot are named after her. Because the supernal Mother is חיים life. Like we have said, “The tree of life are for those that hold onto it” (Prov. 3:18), which is the markava (chariot) to Chochmah.

Malchut, from there is the letter ה‘, and from her is the יהוה called complete. She is called seven times יהוה In them is כח (power) twenty eight letters that it says about them, “And now is made great the כח (power) (28) of יהוה (Num. 14:17). And from these seven names she is called the בת שבע Daughter of Seven, it says about this, “seven times a day I praise you because of your righteous judgments” (Psalms 119:164).

There are thirty two times י”ה in the thirty two names of אלהים , these are the thirty two paths of Chochmah, the letter א with the name י”ה isאיה מקום כבודו (where is the place of your honor). There are ten sayings and thirty two paths, and they all come from אי”ה.

חשק חלם, שבא, קמץ the vowel points from the name צבאות all shine into the precious stone, the Malchut which includes all “segulahs”

(Zohar Tikunim)

All verses, that  “Havayot” come from the beginning letters or ending letters of the words in the verse, whether it is a verse from the Torah, Prophets, or the Writing, you are able to use with the name the vowel points from the verse. There are those that place the vowel points from the first letters even though the “Havaya” comes from the ending letters. There is another way if the “Havaya” is in the first letters and its vowel points in the ending letters. There is also the vowel points in a different secret (Zohar Tikunim Page 10A)

Bs”d                                                         UPDATED March 15TH 2018

The Chesed LaAvraham teaches that Vayikra has 172 chapters corresponding the 172 words in the 10 commandments. One who occupies in this part of the Torah has 172 blessings. It is like they have fulfilled all the commandments.

This weeks parsha explains the ritual aspect of many “corbanot” (sacrifices) that are made in the Holy Temple, may it be rebuilt quickly in our days. The idea of “corbonot” (animal sacrifices) seems very strange for us in this generation, almost two thousand years after the Holy Temple was destroyed and the last “corbonot” were brought. Indeed the concept of “Korbonot” is a very lofty spiritual idea but we are just too removed from it, to appreciate it. “Real” contact with “corbonot” can be felt by reading the Neviim (Prophets, Shoftim, Shmuel, Melachim and the later prophets). Bringing “corbonot” for our ancestors was almost like praying for us. Know that “Corbonot” were brought together with prayer. We brought a “corbon” to achieve closeness to God. In this, “corbonos” are not any different from the other “mitzvos” (commandments). All commandments are given for this purpose.

Learning the “corbonot” now works like bringing them. As the Prophet Hoshia says “Take with you words, and turn to the Lord; say to him: Forgive all iniquity, and receive us graciously; so will we offer the words of our lips instead of calves.” (chapt 14) “corbonot” were brought from three types of animals bulls, sheep and goats, from two types of birds pigeons or doves there also were “corbonot” of flour from wheat or barley and of wine.

The “corban Olah” (Burnt offering) was completely burned on the Alter. It was brought voluntarily to achieve atonement for the sin of evil thoughts. There were also types of obligatory “Olah” brought by individuals on holidays.. There was also community “Olah” brought twice daily and on Shabbot.

“Shlamim” (Peaceful offerings) were brought voluntarily and most of it was eaten by the owner, his family and friends and whoever else was invited. The meat was eaten within the Jerusalem before the end of the next day. A small portion of the animal was given to Cohanim who could eat it with their families. “Corban Todah” (Thanksgiving offering). Is a type of “Shlamim” brought for when one  traveled in the sea, crossed deserts, people who were sick and recovered and the ones that were imprisoned and released. These four all brought a “Corban Todah”

It is brought  with 40 breads of 4 types of ten loafs each. 3 of breads were of different types of “matza” and the last kind is “chametz” (leavened). The amount of “chametz” bread is the same as for all of “matza” breads since each loaf of “chametz” is three times as big as a “matza” bread.

“Chatat” (Sin offering) and “Asham” were “corbonot” for various sins. These “corbonot” were eaten only by Cohanim. “Chatat” was generally brought when a person accidentally broke a commandment, which has a penalty of “Corait” (spiritualally being cut off from the Jewish people) when a person did the transgression intentionally. The “corban Asham” were brought for when uncertain of guilt, a person thought they may have sinned but were unsure. (Leviticus 5:17-18). A “corban asham” was also brought for theft, for profane benefit from sacred things, violation of a enganged women, a “Nazir” at the end of his period of Nazariteship, the leper bring a “asham” when he has been purified.

After I graduated University I began to seriously explore my interest in spirituality. When I looked at Judaism. Naturally the first book I read was the Five Books of Moses. Genesis and Exodus were pretty interesting. But then I got to Leviticus and saw page after page of animal sacrifices !

Wow,” I remember thinking to myself “This is really crazy stuff!! Once upon a time they actually did these bloody rituals, it’s obviously obsolete today! Don’t any of those Orthodox Rabbis know this?

It all made no sense, little did I know that the greatest of Divine secrets are involved with the sacrifices.

In the temple of king Solomon a fire would come down from heaven to consume the daily offerings on the alter. Yet we still made a fire below. There is a verse in Thillim   (Psalms)   “Happy is the man whom you choose, and bring near.” (Psalm 65). In the Holy Zohar it explains ; who are those that Hashem brings close ?. It is those who first take a step in that direction. We can see Hashem demands a action below by us, we see this in man making the fire on the alter. In order to raise your self up and the world we must do something of Divine service then God will respond in kind, with great mercy.   We learn from the Zohar a sacrifice is called in Biblical Hebrew a “corbon” from the same root as the word “corov” which means closeness. In Beor Esser Sefirot העטרת (the Crown) is called heart it is the place in the beginning of all tefilot (prayers). The הקרבנות (the sacrifices) are in עליוןלב (the supernal heart). This is the din (judgment) concerning tefilot. As this prayer is as a קרבן which purifies and brings one קרב (close).   We can learn a lot from the Temple service. Dont take benefit of a mitzvah (commandment) before it is complete (dont create a incomplete mitzvah or lacking compared to what you are capable of). This is as if a Cohen were to eat from a sacrifice before he had completed his required Divine service with it. Do the mitzvot in a way of כבוד (honor) due to the Holy king. Dont enter into doing the Mitzvot in a light headed way. By comprehension of the mitzvot one comes to be careful with their fulfillment as then they understand that the mitzvot involve Holiness. Then they will do them with all their power, cherishing and guarding their kidusha. But if one enters to fulfill mitzvot with arrogance or not in a serious way they will not comprehend in truth “hashgacha” (divine providence), or see the way of the Mitzvot.1 Like a sacrifice, Torah is offered as a gift to Hashem. In the Zohar Barashit it is taught During times when sacrifices were offered sin never clung to Yisrael as these offerings made atonement for them. The Zohar Vayikra teaches that the inner most alter was for Incense, it is the “small still voice.” (the Spirit of Holiness). The ark is Bina including 32 paths which is the source of the Nashama Yetera of Shabot which is Chuchmah , the fire of the Brass alter, it stands against the fire of Ghenom.2   The work of the Holy Temple will continue once again as we see from the Prophet Jeremiah:   “ Behold the days are coming says YHVH I will perform the good thing which I promised to the house of Israel, and to the house of   Yehudah. In those days at that time, I will cause an offshoot of righteousness to grow up for David and He shall execute   justice and righteousness in the land. In those days shall Yehudah be saved and Jerusalem shall dwell safely and this is   the name whereby she shall be called YHVH is our righteousness. Thus says YHVH David shall never lack a man sitting on   the thrown of the house of Israel. Neither shall the Cohen and Levites lack a man before me to offer Burnt   offerings and to burn Meal offerings and to do sacrifice for all days ”(33:14-18)   The Radak explains ”offshoot of righteousness” this refers to Messiah. The Metsudat David says we will call the place of Jerusalem when this prophesy is fulfilled YHV”H is our righteousness. This depicts a little how dramatic this time will be to Jerusalem. The Metsudat David teaches us from the words ” do sacrifice for all days” that there will not be cut off the sacrifice because there shall forever be this service. God will return the Cohaniam (Descendants of Aharon) and all their aspects as described in the Torah into action again as in days of old   In Marachot Elokim the main thing of גאולה (redemption) is in the night time so the corban pasach (pasach sacrifice) is only brought at night.
