An apparent endorsement of astrology,
God places the sun, moon, and stars in the firmament so that they can be used “for signs” !
In the Biblical calendar system, a thirteenth month is added in 7 out of every 19 years in order to align the lunar cycle with the solar cycle. Here, the thirteenth lunar month makes the twelve original solar ones into an system that coexists with its solar “mate”.
Once every 28 years, the sun returns to the same place, same time of day and same day of the week as at the moment of its creation.
During the period of the Exodus from Egypt, the astrological sign dominating the era was Aries the ram. This is why a lamb, related to the ram was the Paschal sacrifice. The lamb was the main God of the Era to the Egyptians and so the Hebrews killed it in the month of its greatest dominance, Aries the ram dominates the Hebrew month of Nisson. The month of Passover. This “mazal” dominated events for 2,000 years, from about the time of Avraham until the time of the destruction of the Second Temple. This was a time of severe judgment, for Aries is ruled by the planet Mars, who rules over blood. The epoch of Taurus the bull is what preceded the epoch of Aries. According to the astrologers, it was during the epoch of Taurus that Adam first walked the earth. The Erev Rav therefore considered this to be an auspicious sign. Thus, when they chose an image that they wished to represent GOD, they took the image that they thought was the highest and most powerful image. They could not conceive that GOD was above images and astrology.

Lights of the brain of chuchmah (Divine Wisdom) are called equinox (during each seasonal equinox a different aspect of Wisdom-creative inspiration enters the world). The four seasonal equinox are four aspects of chuchmah (Divine Wisdom), Chesed (giving), givurah (severity restriction) netzauch (endurance) and hod (ability to focus on subtleties) 1. Certain aspects of time are established by the planets , stars and constellations. They are conduits of the God’s guiding energies. There influence is described in astrology. The stars and planets physical bodies dress the sefirot (Divine powers) of Atzilut (world of Emination of energy). Yesod (gate way of energy) is the most hidden part of the body. Because of this its work is hidden, and called rekia (firmament). In it are the stars and constellations. The Chassadim (forces of Divine giving) of the 5 fingers of the hand can touch in the Yesod arousing with in it (our fingers can channel Divine energy, effecting astrologic influence).2 “Rekia” (firmament) are like “iggulim” (circular energy flow in nature), within them is “oar Yoshir” (supernatural influence changing nature).3 The planets are the first three sefirot of z’a (Source of the Emotional soul) while the constellations are the six corners (shape emotional composure of humans).4 The 12 Mazolot (constellations) go out of the six corners. From Chesed to Malchut (actualized will of God in the earth), and from Malchut up to Chesed. Teferet (Harmony balance) and Malchut are concieled. These 6 corners are included in Teferet called “ ו“ (of the Divine name ( יהו”ה. These are the 6 “Hachel” (palace) in “hachel Ratzon” (palace of will) which are the secret of Teferet (Balance, One draws this influence from here to the stars and planets) . Z’a of Atzilut decends on “hachel Ratzon”, but Z’a can’t decend until there is additional Ruach (drawn there) from Abba and Imma (Sources of emanation of Divine Wisdom and understanding). The 6 “Hachel” in “hachel Ratzon” are a “reshimu” (tracing of energy) of the “mazolot” (constellations).
