Prayer is a place for labor, to work for the Creator,  awaiting heaven’s mercy. At that time one has a true contact with the Creator, he is in the King’s Palace.

Even when God is in the greatest concealment.

He still takes upon himself the service of the Kingdom of Heaven with great joy.  It is written about it in the Holy Zohar, “The Holy Shechina said to Rabbi Shimon, ‘There is no place to hide from

He gives what God has put in his hand and the Creator gives him more

he gives more.

he has contact with the Creator

Before one purifies one’s vessels (one’s thought speech and actions) one is unfit for the Light to come to him,

not like  when one is on the path of bestowal

There the Light can come in utter completeness.

Then the Light comes to him that he can feel.

However, when one has not corrected the vessels  (one’s thought speech and actions)

The Light appears to be in  smallness.

When one comes to a state of selflessness,

one annuls his whole existence and being, then the will to receive for oneself alone has no power.

then one enters the Kedusha (Holiness)

God hath made one opposite the other.”

As much as there is revelation in Kedusha (Holiness) , to that same extent the Sitra Achra (Other Side) awakens.

When the body claims that it belongs to the Sitra Achra,

and cries the famous questions  :

Who are you to do these Holy things?”


What do you think you are doing ?”

It is a sign that one is walking on the path of truth.

One must know that it is a sign that this work hits the target. The sign is that he sends his arrows into the head of the serpent.

It yells and argues the argument of “What” and “Who”

What will you gain by working only for the Creator and not for yourself ?

And the argument of “Who” means

, “Who is the Lord?”

You think you really know God ?

It seems as if the “Who” argument is a rational argument..

Many have a hard time answering this

The mind judges only according to what the senses

The mind cannot scrutinize this

To truly answer this one needs to have had

Divine Experience”

Unfortunately this is something few have experienced

when one accustoms oneself to  work in bestowal, when one has  grown accustomed to work in bestowal.

it is impossible for the mind to ask the “Who” question,

In other words, the evil inclination no longer asks the question :

What mean you by this service”


One needs an awakening from Above, it is an illumination from Above,

It is not for the human mind to understand.

But he that tastes knows.

It is said about that, “Taste and see that the Lord is good.”

Upon assuming the work of the Kingdom of Heaven, one needs it to be in completeness in wanting only to bestow and not at all to receive.

Pour your heart out to the Creator, so to help him make your body consent.

Even if it is a gift from Above

One must offer the awakening from below, and that is “prayer.”

Without prayer it cannot be attained.


The acts he performs create the corrected vessels needed to receive the light

When he prays  honest prayer from the bottom of his heart,  the Creator hears his prayer and gives him the gift.

This will put the evil inclination to death.

The evil inclination is called receiving for one’s own benefit  ONLY.

Desire to bestow cancels the selfishness.

He who works for the creator has pleasure and elation.

Do not be surprised that when one begins the work of the Kingdom of Heaven, that he feels no vitality at all.

One’s sole intention must be only for the Creator, as it says, “Then shalt thou delight thyself in the Lord.”

When one has accustomed oneself to work in order to bestow, one is rewarded with delighting in the Creator, and the work itself renders one pleasure and vitality. And this is pleasure, too, specifically for the Creator.

When one feels oneself in a state of ascent, is high-spirited, and he feels only desire for spirituality, it is then good to delve in the secrets of the Torah.

It is good to delve in the secrets of the Torah, even a hundred times in a single thing.

When one studies some issue and yearns to understand it.

When one is craving the Creator will satisfy his desire.

According to the measure of the need, so is the measure of the yearning.

There is a rule that in the thing that one makes the most effort, the exertion increases the desire.

When one studies the words of the Torah, their heart must be freed from other desires to give the mind the strength to be able to think deeply. One should always learn where one’s heart desires.

As one is separated from materialism, so to, to that extent, they can be closer to the attribute of bestowal, to spirituality and better suited to connect with the secrets of the Torah.

Learning brings one to faith, and faith is called one Mitzva (Commandment), which brings the whole world to merit.

Faith is above reason.

It make one to be cleaving with the Creator.

One should also hate evil.

By hating evil the Creator will keep him from evil, as it is written, “He preserveth the souls of His saints.” What is preservation? “He delivered them out of the hand of the wicked.”

In that state one has contact with the Creator
