What is Blasphemy Day really about ?
Wednesday Sept. 30 was the first organized observance of Blasphemy Day, it hosted a series of events, exhibits and lectures unfolding in a host of mostly North American cities that are part of a larger Campaign for “Free Expression.”
Blasphemy Day even includes a contest that invites participants to come up
with slogans that might be judged blasphemous by society. Supporters worldwide were encouraged to take up The Blasphemy Challenge (blasphemychallenge.com) by uploading their denials of faith to YouTube. And, yes, the winner
gets a T-shirt heralding the prized slogan. Lindsay its founder offered this sample:“There’s nothing wrong with God that a dose of reality won’t cure.”
You might say Linsay is a blasphemer’s savior.

religion battles on. As Solomon said so long ago,” there is nothing new under the sun”.Secular atheism has become a new world religion as fundamentalist and
foolish and anti-scientific as all the fundamentalist movements before it; and with relentless vigor denies the truth of this while it proclaims the “self-evident” truths of its own making.
This is not surprising though because Religion in this generation looks pretty foolish. Is it not amazing that even after thousands of years of Torah commentaries which clearly explain the tradition from mount Sinai that the story in genesis is not literal, that the world was not created in 7 days, but millions of years there are still numerous so-called Religious people who believe that the creation story in Genesis is literal. and must be accepted and embraced only in the form in which they understand it. And these so-called religious folks consider themselves “learned in the Bible” .
Fundamentalists, of all sorts, are like horses wearing blinders. They are trained to look in
only one way and no other. Any deviations are to be severely punished. Maybe this is
necessary for horses, but to the best of my recollection, Genesis has taught that we human.
Once one gets past the “dogma” , they can behold the truth and “Divine experience”.
The best anyone can do is have some serious doubts about the existence of God, which is usually more a function of one’s own intellectual and/or emotional shortcomings than God’s failure to reveal Himself to such people.
So to deny the existence of A God, one who created and interacts with this world is foolishness, the best they can really say it that they do not know either way. The flat out denial of the existence of the Divine is only possible by great arrogance..
The line between bravado and sheer stupidity can be blurry sometimes.
There are plenty of good answers to their “burning” questions regarding
the existence of a Creator, if they would only make a point of learning them. Many so-called atheists have done exactly that, and have later gone on to either downgrade to the level of agnostic, to actually become religious, often wondering out loud how they could have ever been so blind to truth.
But because of Lazyness many refuse to do the intellectual and meditaitive work to “discover God” and then by arrogance they deny His existence.
A Mr. Ronald Lindsay “devout Catholic turned non-believer”, who now “leads a movement that is all about protecting people’s rights to speak irreverently about religion.” Lindsay is forging ahead with his ‘nothing is sacred’ movement.
What’s really up with people who are brazen enough to openly challenge God, or with people who scoff at people who have faith ? Do you have to spit in the face of God to preserve your right of speech?
This is much like the people in the story of Sadam and gemore , and the generation of the tower of Bavel who directly challenged God
Something does not quite add up here.
I mean, what if you are wrong? What if your lack of respect for religious tradition
and of those who keep the faith is not well-founded, and that, not only is God
there, but watching and recording your every move? It’s one thing to choose to be agnostic and live a secular life, calling your own shots and pretending as if you have to answer to no one but yourself. However, it is something altogether different to go that extra step and actually go to war against God and religion.
There is some thing behind this all, something motivating them to act in this way and I assure you.

Although Egypt will be the first of the nations to accept the kingdom of Heaven, The people of Asur (Iran) will surpass them in their Zeal to worship GOD. One must always remember that even if GOD Always fulfils His good word. The way it will come about is left up to us. Therefore the Prophet Zechariah enjoins us to work hard as He says “Thus says YHV’H TSVAO’T let Your hands be strong you Who hear these words in these days. These words by the mouth of the Prophets. Who spoke on the day that the foundation of the house of YHV’H TSVAO’T was laid, saying that the Temple might be built.”. So work hard against the evil perpetrated by traitors in our midst as pinchas did !

Sadeekem who don’t perform the mitzvot with proper ”tikun” (fixing), but do them with weak hands, without ”ratzon” (will) of the mitzvot (commandments) themselves. They journey to the Gan Aden below in Yetzera (world of the Ruach-Emotional soul). Where people are rewarded for their emotional ruach attachment to GOD. To get into the Gan Aden (the Garden of Eden) above requires a mitzvah to be done in great love and desire. Aroused by awareness of one’s Nashama (soul of Divine intellect). Because of the weakness of one’s mitzvot they are punished in Gehenom. By blemish in machut shamyim (Yolk of heaven) are punished those who trancend the will of GOD. They are punished mida (attribute) for mida. As Pharoe was punished so to reveal the Malchut (divine). This is the glory of machut shamyim. By this is purified the 7 emotional attributes. Yisreal fought Amalak in a place called “Rafadim” (weakness), referring to the weakness coldness in Yisrael’s hands as they do not fear Elokim, because they did the mitzvot in weakness. This is Amalak, the top level of tuma. Moshe raised his hands on high to overcome the hand of Amalak.1 It is proper for one to sanctify their body, all their limbs. All thoughts, words all they do. One must have zeal so to achieve purity as this will bring Holiness which will bring prophesy and this brings Eliyahu.2 Eliyahu is Pinchas as both were jealous for GOD.3 In our parsha its written “Behold, I give to him my covenant of peace. And he shall have it, and his seed after him, the covenant of an everlasting priesthood; because he was zealous for his God, and made an atonement for the people of Israel.” May we see this Peace soon with the Temple rebuilt and the arrival of our righteous Mashiach quickly in our days.

After the Holocaust one has the right to beg G-d for some answers just to keep from going insane, as how can God allow such cruelty ? Perhaps it is this extenuating circumstance alone along with the years of grueling Jewish suffering at the hand of our twin brother (Esau) that gives us the right to hear an answer that earlier generations could not hope to hear. So let us contemplate. What is the 1/2 of a shekel coin given before purim about ?, How does it relate to the Final Redemption ?
The business deal alone, the transfer of 10,000 kikar silver to Achashvarosh, the King of persia, and the handing over of Achashvarosh’s ring (seal of his authority) to the wicked Haman along with the money to carry out the dirty business of genocide were all done with Achashvarosh’s name missing. This is reflective of the name of god not appearing in the whole book of Ester. This deal was bigger than the story of Purim in the story of Ester. So Achashvarosh’s name here was omitted.
Before the Golden Calf, there was a mitzvah (commandment) for giving a Half shekel with silver coins. The original purpose of this donation was to redeem Josef from the slave owners to whom he had been sold. Yet, since those slave owners were dead at the time the mitzvah was given, the donation was given as a penitence to the Creator’s Mishkan (desert Tabernacle). The ten brother’s who were partners to the sale received a total of 20 dinar one shekel was worth 4 dinar. This means that Josef, Rachel’s first born was sold for 5 shekels. It makes sense that the redemption of every first born after Josef would also be with five silver shekals. Because 10 brothers benefited from the sale, each brother received 5/10 or 1/2 of a shekel from the sale of their brother to the Yishmaelim (Arabs). This was the true original sin of the Jewish people. The day of his sale was the 9th of Av (the day both Temples were distroyed). The silver that is placed in the Temple treasury as a redemption for Josef who was sold into Egypt, is really Josef’s property since he was stolen from himself in the sale. Therefore when the mitzvah ( half shekel) was first introduced to Yisrael, we were being given the tikun (repair) for the sin of the sale of Joseph. In short we were buying 1/11 of ourselves back from the Yishmaelim (Arabs), but depositing the money instead in the Treasury of the Mishkan. The calculation is as follows. 600,000 Jews in the desert gave a total of 300,000 shekals. These 300,000 shekals divided by 5 shekals/ Josef = 60,000 Josefs.
Since all 603,550 Jews participated in the Golden Calf, except for Hur and the Levi. No longer would it be possible for the 600,000 Jews at the sin of the Golden Calf to simply donate their with a contrite heart for the sin of selling Josef, purchasing back 1/11th of themselves from slavery. Now all 600,000 would need this pidyon ( 5 shekel-price of redemption) for the sin of the Golden Calf. In order to accomplish this, 6 million would need to give Half a shekel. 6 million would give 1/2 a shekel equaling 3 million shekels. These 3 million shekels would then redeem the 600,000 men who participated in the sin. There would have needed to be at least 12 to 14 million Jews at Sinai to accomplish this task so that the number of Jewish males in the world would add up to 6 million. This possibility of self-redemption from the Sin of the golden calf would need to now wait until the End of Days.
We are told that Moses collected 100 kikar of silver for the 100 Adanim (sockets) holding the Krashim (planks) together for the structure of the Mishkan + 1775 shekel of silver for an assortment of other vessels. Since the 1775 Shekals correspond with the 3550 individuals above 600,000 who gave it, the 100 kikar of silver must have been given by exactly 600,000 Jews. Therefore 300,000 shekel must be equal to 100 kikar. This means that we now have a conversion factor of 3000 shekel per kikar. From this we see that Haman placed 10,000 kikar times 3000 shekal/kikar in the King’s Treasury equaling 30,000,000 shekel of silver. How many Jews did he purchase? 600,000 Jews at the Sin of the golden calf, became like Josef, needing to be redeemed because of the Sin of the golden calf. We remember that Josef was sold for 5 Shekals. Therefore, Haman gave 30 million shekels divided by 5 Shekals/Jew equaling (purchasing) 6 million Jews for slaughter. The Holocaust makes the Final Redemption not just possible but almost mandatory.

So it shall be in the last exile. With this money we will be required to make an offering to God. But the evil inclination will come close seeing all the things God has given them, and will wants these things for himself. The will be the time to run from the devil, the desire of your evil inclination. All who are strong with their Nashama (Soul of Divine intellect) will guard to be close to God. Then God will cause him to bring these things to serve Him. So don’t die in the plague of darkness take what you have and leave your egypt in haste. Another thing to consider In the Book “‘Meir Eini Chucuchmim” It is written in the name of the “ostrovster Rebbi” , he revealed in 1925 :
” That from the time of creation there are only 3 times the time for saying the blessing of “Kidush HaChamah” (sanctification of the sun, which is said every 28 years when the earth sun cycle is completed, since this solar cycle is calculated on a solar/Lunar calendar it happens on different days of the When Biblical year ) falls on the night of Passover.” the redemption from Egypt occured. The 2nd time was the time of Mordichy and Easter in the Bible, when the redempion of Purim happened which led to the building of the 2nd Temple. The third and final time shall be this coming Passover of 2009. (at the time Purim happened in Persia with Ester and Mordichy, that year because of the evil decree of Haman Passover was declared a fast day, no matzah was eaten. Then the evil decree of Haman was anulled)

Its the same story over and over again. GOD raises up Amalak (negative destructive force) when the Jews forget where GOD is , as Rabbi Kahana says in Pesicta. Amalak is the dog that bites them to remind them of Hashem. As when there is no where else to turn almost everyone returns to GOD with tefilla (prayer) with their heart. Tefila from ones heart is the opposite of Amalack as Yosef Yitzchak Shneerson explains that Amalak is the power opposite that of Teferet (balance and harmony). It creates situations so that one cannot turn to GOD with their heart. Now is the time of year we remember Amalak, and our victory over them during the time of Mordichy and Ester. In our parsha it written
“ This is the offering you shall take of them Gold, silver, brass, blue, purple, scarlet and linen”. On purim we read in the Magilla
“There were white, green, and blue, hangings, fastened with cords of fine linen and purple to silver rings and pillars of marble; the beds were of gold and silver, upon a pavement of alabaster, marble, mother of pearl, and precious stones.”
It is no coincidence that verses containing gold, silver, blue, purple and linen are mentioned in both places. This is to remind us that the triumph over Amalack, who is the manifestation of the essence of the negative spiritual force opposite Yisrael, is only by Torah. By absolute dedication to GOD in all things. Then GOD will enable us to do what is right. As the Jews did in the time of Mordichy and Ester, saying “We are with Mordichy and the Torah or death”. At that time all the people decided to fast against the threat Haman had made against the Jews so to push off its judgment. We were willing to Give our lives because of our belief in GOD . Easter instead of hiding her identity as a Jew from the King so to guard her own life stood up for her people. Putting the needs of the nation of Yisrael above her own.
This brings us back to our parsha Truma as the “Mishcon” (tabernacle) represents the spiritualisation of the worlds. The sages say that each component of the “Mishcon” cooresponds to something in the spiritual worlds which manifest this world. Its boards are the Angels called Sarafim as stated in the Zohar. The rings that hold up the curtains are as the stars in the heavens. The 12 elements involved in construction of the “mishcon” coorespond to the 12 tribes, 12 constellations. Each parsha lists Linen-silver- gold- purple and blue. Silver is white which corresponds to the sefira keter and the level of the soul called Yechida. This is the dedication of our delight and will to the will of GOD . Linen can be dyed any color as the sefira Chuchmah is the color containing all colors corresponding to the soul level called Chayah. This is the dedication of our creative powers to Divine activities. Gold the Ar”i tells us corresponds to Binna, Which corresponds to Divine understanding and one’s Nashama. Their intellectual soul being dedicated to the search for GOD and using ones intellect in their Divine service. Purple is Teferet corresponding to our Ruach, emotional soul. We must be filled with love and fear over Divine will. And finally the Ar’i tells us that Blue corresponds to the Nefesh, our physical existence. We must use our bodies to only do that which GOD wants. With all these powers we can fulfill the verse.
“Make me a Mishcon and I will dwell in them”
As we make ourselves a Mishcon to GOD from the powers of our soul as shown above. Also there are 18 commands in the building of the mishcon corresponding to the 18 vertebrae in the spine of man which correspond to the 18 blessings of the Amida. When we make ourselves a Mishcon to GOD then the story of Purim, of Amalak will have reached its conclusion. As they will have no place to exist. By being nullified to Divine will with in ourselves our lives. Likewise will Amalak be nullifed outside also depending on our merit. Our success at nullifying Amalak’s powers of doubt and coldness to GOD in our Divine service. Then we shall see the Temple built, The glory of GOD revealed with the coming of The Messiah Quickly in our days.
